Love this piercing shop - I have sensitive ears so I was worried to get pierced but I felt so taken care of! Dominic helped me through the whole process - from picking my earrings to piercing to aftercare. Plus his jewelry selection is top notch - so many cute earrings. Would highly recommend!

The best piercing experience I’ve had hands down! Dominic has a gorgeous studio and is an absolute pro at what he does.I went in looking for a new lobe piercing and ended up going with a daith piercing. He took the time to look at my ear anatomy and map out future piercings so I could really envision how my ear would look after I got all the piercings I wanted. He also helped me update some existing jewelry and it looks so much better. He really has a great eye for this.On top of that, he is the gentle and my piercing was as close to painless and possible.I’ll for sure be going back to get more and could not recommend this shop more!

Love this place! Styling my ears has become my new favorite hobby! Super clean place with tons of beautiful pieces! Dominic is extremely patient, knowledgeable, and is so good at what he does! Didn’t feel forced to purchase jewelry or get new piercings either. Recently got 2 stacked lobes, a vertical helix, and flat pierced. All fairly painless and are healing so well! Hands down the best piercing experience Ive ever had. I have been getting piercings since I was 15 and Ive gone to shops in Concord, Antioch, and Walnut Creek over the years and my experience with Dominic was wonderful, from booking to the actual appointment.The website has clear instructions, FAQ, and options for what kind of appointment you want to make so when you book your appointment you know exactly what to expect when you come in.I booked my appointment for a nostril piercing late the night before through the website which was incredibly easy and I was able to add it to my google calendar. When I came in for my appointment, the studio is clean, well lit, and beautifully decorated. The jewelry is displayed, both yellow gold and white gold, with a selection of titanium jewelry. The jewelry selection is stunning and I was told that jewelry can be special ordered at my request.Dominic was friendly and welcoming from the beginning and knew what I was coming in for so he was able to help me figure out what I wanted quickly. And despite me deciding last minute that I wanted to do an ear curation, he never once made me feel like I was inconveniencing him or that I needed to rush as he took me through options and offered suggestions. Not only did Dominic make me feel like I am a valued client in the capable hands of an experienced professional, I also felt like I was working with an artist who really cared about the work he was doing for me in styling my piercings. He walked me through aftercare and advised me to book a follow up for a size down in 2-3 weeks and let me know to reach out if I had any concerns.I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Dominic and Gold Society and I will definitely be back.

Amazing experience here! I’ve gone to him before when he was piercing at a different location & had the same great experience. Has so many different pieces of jewelry to choose from in all different price ranges. The piercing experience itself is what will always keep me coming back and I don’t even live locally to Walnut Creek but every piercing I’ve had from Dominic has healed so well & has been essentially painless for me in the process so it’s worth the drive to see him. I’ve had piercings done elsewhere and they’ve never healed as nicely or easily. The booking site online is also super user friendly and easy to book appointments on.

Dominic is amazing. I would recommend Gold Society for all of your ear piercings needs. From start to finish the process was very personalized and I felt like we were able to spend quality time finding the right jewelry for my ear curation. The space is clean and cozy. Really cool shop right in downtown!I had a bit of a piercing emergency for my belly button ring, I called 4 other piercing shops in the Bay Area and none were helpful.I was scrolling on google and found this shop - Gold Society, when I called the owner was SO kind and able to get me an appointment right away.Dominic cleaned and fixed my piercing and I’m so happy! Super kind, professional, and clean studio.I have 10 piercings and this is the most professional and nicest studio I’ve been to in the Bay Area. Dominic has done 9 out of 11 of my piercings. Everything is clean, well organized and he has a great inventory as well. He’s ordered custom pieces for me also. I like that it’s appointment based and you don’t feel like you’re in a factory or sketchy place. His studio is super nice and he knows how to pierce. He also entertains my 9 year old who well, is a bit chatty at times :)

Dominic was excellent, incredibly patient, and made me feel completely at ease! His shop is exceptionally neat and clean and he takes all measures to keep the piercing process very sanitary. He walked me through everything and answered all of my questions. I appreciate that there is a follow-up process and resizing as well. Excellent and unique selection of jewelry to choose from. I just had my ears repierced after having had them sewn up by a plastic surgeon a few years ago. Dominick Pierrce was the utmost professional and kind, experienced piercer. He kept me comfortable the entire time. We just relaxed and chatted like we were old friends. I highly recommend him if you or any family member needs excellent work from an experienced professional in an extremely clean (cleaner than a hospital, and I know hospitals) environment.He really is an artist as he had to place the piercings between scar tissue and still make them look correctly on my ears and face. This is the best place for piercings. I have been here several times. You dont have to go to a tattoo shop, or the mall. Its just piercings, and very personalized. Dominic is very knowledgeable about piercing, very careful, and helpful. I always had extremely painful ears for months after piercing them at the mall. But the piercing itself and healing were not painful because Dominic is careful, used the right instruments, gives you specific cleaning instructions and is helpful with any follow up questions. He is also a great person!

After admiring Dominics work on Instagram for a while, I recently scheduled an appointment with him for a full ear curation on the left side. I had been obsessing over ear curation pictures for months and I had a rough idea of the types of jewelry I liked but I knew I needed someone with an artistic eye to help me put it all together. When I got to the appointment, I noticed that his studio was pristine and nicely decorated. Its located near downtown Walnut Creek so it was very easy to get to. Dominic was extremely kind and professional and made me feel comfortable right away. At the beginning of the appointment, we sat and spent some time talking about the types of jewelry I like and dislike and I described the look that I was going for. We looked at some inspiration pictures together and he asked great questions to really hone in on the type of curation I wanted. Dominic picked out the most beautiful yellow gold and cz pieces for me and I couldnt be more thrilled with the final result! It felt bold yet delicate at the same time, which was exactly the look I was going for. I got my conch pierced and added two more high lobe piercings that day. Dominic had a very light touch, it barely hurt and everything has been healing beautifully. He is truly an artist! Our curation appointment was so fun, it felt like hanging out with a good friend and picking out gorgeous jewelry together. Good chill vibes. I cant wait to go back to get my right ear curated next time! :)

What a gem in Walnut Creek! It was 20 years since I got my last piercing and I’m so happy to have found Dom to do my daith and helix on my right ear. I waited 4 years for these late bday gifts to myself and I’m glad I waited because I found the best piercer.Dom is super chill, patient, and has an awesome creative sensibility for what I wanted when I came to my appt! Super easy to book the appointment online.He suggested some pieces that I liked for the piercings I had in mind. I was nervous for the pain of the daith piercing as I heard that could be pretty painful. Both pierces were done super quickly and in a matter of seconds, it was all done!My healing has been on good track. The throbbing on my helix lasted maybe a couple days, now it’s only sore if I accidentally graze something. The daith pierce surprisingly didn’t have much pain but it definitely itches!His space is bright and inviting. Its a super personable & private experience. I was often intimidated by other studios, but felt completely comfortable at this one. Parking is easy. There’s 2 hr free street parking or a garage parking for retail visitors.He has a huge ear jewelry collection so it was hard to choose. Next time, I will come back to do an ear curation appt with him and get more piercings. I’m obsessed!

I can’t say enough great things about Dominic. Me and my daughter have been getting pierced by him for over three years. I’ve always wanted to venture into ear piercings beyond my lobes and I knew I was in good hands I’ve been following Dominic’s work for sometime now. The first few minutes is to get to know you and what you are looking for. Everyone is different and Dominic is very receptive regardless of whether or not you have a strong vision or are open to let the spirit move you. I came without a strong POV of what I wanted and opted to let his creativity guide me. I normally opt for dainty studs and walked away with some subtle dangly pieces based on his recommendations.Dominic offered up a number of different options which works for me as I love optionality and made it easier to rule things out. He did not mind matching a few things a number of times for me.I did bring my own jewelry but opted for new pieces and walked away with 3 new piercings (2- flat, 1- lobe). I think the best part about this is it’s a private appointment 1:1. I didn’t feel rushed and I wasn’t overwhelmed by other people in the shop which I can’t say for larger shops. I could easily see all the options available. This alone makes the coin spent worth it. No one likes to feel like cattle moving through the line.EXPERIENCE: PIERCINGI was really anxious about getting my flat/upper ear pierced. I had only my lobes pierced and knew that these would hurt more than my lobes. Dominic helped to ease my nerves, pumped me up and talked me through it. Everyone’s pain thresholds are different. For me, once the piercing portion was over, I barely noticed them (though this will be short lived once I clean these babies out).SPACE/AMBIANCEThe facility is very clean. My experience was great! Dominic was very professional and friendly. I had 3 piercings in my ears and it went fast and was actually fairly painless. There is a good selection of jewelry and the studio is well located.

I was looking for a same day appointment to get my ears re-pierced and there were two appointments available. When I arrived, the studio space was clean, bright with lots of natural light and inviting. I was able to select a new earring and had a hard time choosing between the beautiful and varied inventory. In the end, he was able to open up the existing holes I had pierced 30 years ago with a probe and now I am sporting very cute new jewelry. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely return!!

Stumbled across this place by chance when I was waiting for a hair appointment in the same vicinity. I went in to get my nose piercing removed since I never removed a flat back before and Dom was able to squeeze me in and was so friendly!! Ive had bad piercing experiences in the past which left me leery of getting piercings at all, but after being recommended to Dom by a friend Ive gotten probably a dozen piercings done by him. Dominic is amazing! Other than trying to get in the door at the Phoenix salon suites, I had a really good time. I havent paid for this type of service since I was in my early twenties but I feel like it was pretty expensive! However, on the other hand, I will say that was definitely worth it. Dominic was kind, connective, thoughtful, inquisitive, and very personable. If you might be nervous or want a kind person, Dominic is the person. It may be that he is more expensive than the others and I didnt check out the prices that much, but I feel like it was definitely worth it. I also added a tip on top. I hope it was 20%...I am very happy with experience... Now the post-care is up to me.

Doesnt seem right that there are only five stars to give Dom who is without a doubt the best piercer in the Bay Area (not to mention an awesome person overall). Several years ago Dom pierced my daith since then hes done 12 more piercings for me. His style and eye for design make him the perfect piercer for you if you are ultimately looking to have a full ear curation. I get so many compliments on Doms work on my ears. Something you might not consider when getting pierced is the long term outcome and all of my piercings have healed without issues. Got my ears pierced by Dom and was the best decision ever!! I have an awkward ear shape and anatomy and always used to hide my ears, he found the perfect earrings and spots to compliment my ear shape!! I’m now obsessed! Dom is quite literally the only person that I trust to pierce me. I have gone to him since I was about a freshman in high school and now I am 24 years old and in law school.
