Graceland Tattoo

I got my septum pierced here about 9 years ago. The piercer did a fantastic job - placed it perfectly and pierced it in one go with no issues. Everyone was kind, welcoming and encouraging. Almost a decade later my piercing is going strong and I never had any issues with it. It’s a bit belated, but I wanted to share my experience for others who are considering getting a piercing here. Do it!

Got my first two tattoos ever, from Adam yesterday. What a great job. He was fantastic. The detail is amazing! Graceland is a very friendly, clean and welcoming place and I look forward to my next tattoos in the coming weeks. Thanks Adam!

Allison was great! I had an old piercing that had closed up over 10 years ago, instead of just doing a new peircing, she took the time to re open the old hole, causing less trauma to my skin. I dont believe most artists would take the time to do this, and I really appreciated it !!! She is very knowledgeable and comforting, would absolutely recommended seeing her!!!

I’ve had 4/5 of my tattoos done at Graceland by various artists along with several piercings. They are so professional and welcoming. Noelle (who works the front desk) is such a sweetheart and every single artist there (tattoo artists and piercers) are friendly and accommodating. It’s clear they excel at what they do and I come away each time with satisfaction knowing they put their all into the piece.My sister and I went there yesterday for tattoos and it was my sister’s first. Dana was so nice and made it such a memorable and comfortable experience for my sister. Our tattoos are gorgeous and I for one can’t wait for the next one.Thank you so much Graceland for doing what you do best! We’ll definitely be back!

Dana Hex is a 10/10 gave me exactly what I was asking for and how I wanted it to look. He has patience and care for his work.

Just finished my tattoo from Joe Pepper and he did amazing work. We did 2 sessions about 2 hours long each. Joe did a great job of turning the reference material into what you see in the pictures. I absolutely love the results and Joe was great to work with. The price was reasonable too. There is a 3% service fee added for card payments so if you arent ok with that take cash.

Had eye brow piercing with Allison. Wonderful service and very knowledgeable and helpful.

Adam is well worth the usually lengthy wait times to get an appointment. Well maintained, clean shop with a fun environment. I’ve gotten pierced here as well. There’s a reason the have been named the best tattoo shop in the Hudson valley so many times!

Got this flash piece from Adam and I love it! Great shop great vibe great ppl! Definitely returning for more pieces. Highly recommend. My most notable experience was that he was prepared. My other tattoos, I was in the shop for 4-6 hours because nothing is ready. I arrived 20min early and Adam had everything ready for me and we started at 2:30 and he finished under 2 hrs! That was a big deal for me.

My experience couldnt have gone better. Dana did an amazing job and he never rushed. Adam (owner) was super helpful in getting me all set up and and quickly answered all my first questions.

Got a beautiful mountain landscape done on my leg around my 3 year old pre-existing horse on my leg, Adam did a fantastic job with the background and made it blend seamlessly together with the horse. I am beyond happy with this piece I definitely recommend Adam and his crew at Graceland!!

Highly recommend. I went here because I was having a skin issue with my nose hoop that I had put in by a different shop. Turns out the last piercer put my hoop in incorrectly causing skin to grow over the gap in my nose ring. Allison was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and explained everything to me . She was able to put in a nose ring properly and I felt comfortable the entire time. Definitely will be back here for future piercing/tattoo needs!

I love Allison.This rook is my 3rd piercing by her. (Got a set of lobes in December.)After six, yes, six cartilage rejections from other reputable piercers, I vowed that I was going to give 1 last shot at cartilage piercing.I called in advance to see if I could bring my own jewelry, and she gave me the metal specs for a successful starter piece.I went for 10mm because of the horrible swelling Ive had in the past. There is no swelling, and tomorrow will be one week.I love that I brought my own sparkly curved bar.I greatly appreciate the time she takes answering my questions and Im annoying but she doesnt make me feel that way.We shall see how the rest of this healing process goes. If it continues, Ill be getting the other side done.I love this shop. It is really an awesome environment. I highly recommend Allison.A bit over a week later, and Ive never healed so well. Love it! Adam nailed exactly what I was looking for. The conversation during the tattoo was as good as the finished product.

My rook piercing randomly loosened and fell out, and they were able to squeeze me in same day to get an earring back in, even though they were busy. They have a good selection of jewelry and the studio is very clean and sanitary. Victoria was super professional and personable. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Just had my navel piercing done by Victoria. She did a fantastic job. She took time to make sure the placement looked good, and she explained the process and aftercare very thoroughly. She and the receptionist were both very friendly and helpful. Really glad I went with Graceland for my piercing.

Graceland Tattoo is great! I stopped in the other day as an appointment and was able to get my tattoo done the same day with Adam. From the moment I walked in I felt welcome by Noelle at the front who was super friendly and am extremely happy with how my tattoo came out. Had a great experience getting tattooed at Graceland. Adam provides that friendly “neighbor down the road” type feel with also being an awesome artist. All the staff are friendly and accommodating plus the shop is impeccably clean. You won’t be disappointed at graceland!

Allison pierced my daughters ears. My daughter was very nervous and Allison was very kind and patient with her. She did a perfect job with the piercing itself.

Graceland is the only place I allow to work on my skin. Ive been all over the world and always receive compliments on how good my tattoos look even after all these years. They take nothing but pride in their work and will not give you something that will fail. The vibe and the people are nothing short of exemplary of what getting a tattoo should be.

Just had my first tattoo done (third tattoo overall) with Cookie. Graceland Tattoo came highly recommended by a few of my family members that have gotten many tattoos done there. I’ve gotten quite a few piercing done by Allison over the years, I still have them and love them. She did a great job and made me feel a lot better and comfortable even though I’m always anxious getting pierced. She’s really professional and knows her stuff. After having bad experiences elsewhere I’m only ever going to go here for future piercings.

If you’re looking for a clean, friendly, aesthetically pleasing shop with great piercers, graceland is the place to go! i’ve gotten 5 piercings done by victoria so far and i absolutely plan on coming back for more, she’s very attentive and makes sure to explain what she’s doing every step of the way. i’ve only met allison once to change out my nose studs but she was also so sweet and respectful! you can tell they know what they’re doing and they do it well. i love every piercing i’ve gotten done there. i’ve always felt safe and respected while there, and while i’ve never met any of the tattoo artists, i can at least attest to the fact that the piercers and the ladies who work the desk are awesome people and great at what they do :) i always recommend graceland to my friends who are looking for new piercings and i will continue to support this awesome business. keep up the great work guys!

Had an idea for a tattoo and was going back and forth with myself over different options. I was nervous when I walked into Graceland for my appointment because I wasnt entirely sure how effectively I would be able to communicate exactly what I wanted to the artist. Adam warmly welcomed me into his shop and after discussing the options and making a few slight changes, he came up with a piece that was even better than I imagined it would be. After the piece was done, Adam spent the time to give me thorough aftercare instructions. This was by far the best tattooing experience Ive ever had. I entered the shop very nervous but left with a fantastic looking tattoo. Adam was very friendly and knowledgeable, his demeanor put me at ease right away and the experience was top notch. I love Graceland! I was never a huge fan of needles and hated them always, when i got my second holes done Allison made me feel so comfortable and all. So far Allison has done 6 new piercings of mine and i won’t trust anyone else!!! Great place and very clean friendly people.

I’ve had a great appointment with Dana on a half sleeve we are starting together. Very professional and personable, Dana customized a half sleeve with different elements I liked from reference photos and made it my own. I would for sure recommend for anyone to go here it is a great atmosphere to be in. I am looking forward to my second appointment with Dana in about 3 weeks. To top it off even after my appointment there’s a follow up call in which makes sure your healing process is going well and if you have any questions I’ve been to several shops and none were like this one thank you guys for making it a great experience!

I had a piercing done by Victoria. She was awesome! I was a little nervous, but she made me very comfortable. I will definitely be going to her again. Super clean place and theyre very conscientious about maintaining covid protocol so everyone is protected. Be back soon!

Took my daughter here for a piercing. Allison was really professional with explaining what not to do after the piercing. My daughter was calm the entire time. I’ll be back to do my piercing at our next visit.

This is THE BEST place to get a tattoo! The staff is not intimidating at all; rather, they make you feel comfortable and are super nice people. Cookie is an amazing tattoo artist as well as a really great person. I needed a cover-up tattoo done and wasnt really sure how to go about it. He helped me every step of the way and was very personable and helpful. He didnt only treat me as a customer, but as a person. Always asking how I was doing, if I was okay, if I wanted anything to drink or eat, if I needed to take a break, etc. And his work is OUTSTANDING! Truly beautiful detail and clean, smooth lines. I’ve had several tattoos done by Graceland tattoos . The owner Adam is really professional as well as down to earth . Really comforting atmosphere . I personally will not let anyone else do tattoos on me other than Graceland . It’s something permanent on your body where you want perfection and anything less is unacceptable. If I could give more than 5 stars I would . I highly recommend Graceland tattoo to anyone looking to get some ink . They do piercings as well and I’ve brought my step daughters to them on several occasions. They are clean , neat and professional as well as friendly . I will gladly be using Graceland tattoo Now and in the future ! My neck is next . Adam is working on the perfect cover up for me on a tattoo I got many years ago . Super easy and quick to make an appointment online, clean place, very professional, and Allison was really great and understanding /accommodating (I usually faint with needles/piercings). Thursday evening, 45 minutes before close, and Allison fit in 2 out-of-towners for spur-of-the-moment piercings. She was professional and kind, and we had a great experience at the shop. The shop itself was clean, bright, and comfortable. Highly recommend Graceland Tattoo for piercings! Next year well plan better and come back for tattoos!

Alison is an amazing piercer! I wanted to get a certain ear piercing and she really took the time to touch and measure to see if it could be done. We settled on a different spot and Im very happy with her attentiveness!

Was a walk in today for a personal piercing. First the place is beautiful classy and clean. The young lady at the desk discreet. And than the best of all. Allison. She was very professional honest and let me know everything that was going to happen . I never felt uncomfortable or anything. So clean inside and like I said before everything that was happening I was told. So gentle and honest to what to expect. I will be going back there for more piercing but also for a cover up tattoo. I took my 5 year old here for ear piercing. Everyone was friendly, up front with the process and supportive. They took time to let my daughter breathe in between ears and allowed her to admire herself in the mirror afterward. Despite how nervous my she was, the atmosphere was always calm.

I absolutely have found a permanent piercer. I have been to other places, but no other place has offered me the same service as Graceland has. The piercings are cheaper, and standard, with little to no selection, but Allison is just incredible. The only complaints I have are that the receptionist was bland and uninformative, and I was pierced with a bar that the piercer had a feeling would be too small. (I live super far away too, so its not like I could just come back to have it switched.) But on the positive side, I wouldnt go anywhere else. Allison dealt with my nervous talking and almost fainting perfectly. I really did fall in love with this place :)

Got my first tattoo on February 29th!! From the moment I walked into Graceland Tattoo they were courteous, professional and most importantly attentive. I was given to Dana Hex and he put me at ease from the minute he sat to discuss what I was hoping to get done. Dana did a quick sketch while we spoke. I could never have imagined the amazing end result!! Dana was able to put “everything” I requested into the design. Dana’s skill and artistry made this an amazing experience!!

I came in today to fix an incorrect nose hoop size and Victoria was amazing 🤩. She listened to my concerns and even talked me through the process while she did it. We talked and laughed which helped keep me calm and the pain off my mind. Will definitely come to Victoria for a piercing! Loved loved her attitude and vibe,keep rocking💜💜💜💜

Had a piercing appointment with Victoria today! She was absolutely wonderful both in personality and piercing! Her room and methods were extremely sanitary and she answered all my burning questions about this piercing and past piercings! I would absolutely recommend Graceland and Victoria!

The overall ambiance is chill and relaxing and all of the artists are SO down to earth and patient with their clients. The work speaks for itself- im currently getting my second tattoo from there and i have friends who have had multiple pieces done there as well! I definitely recommend them to anybody getting a new tattoo from traditional to realistic pieces, black and grey to all colors in between!

The pros:The artist, Casey, did a great job. My mom and brother have had work done by him before, and he always does high quality work.The establishment is very clean and professional.The cons:I got a small tattoo that took literally 5 minutes. The shop minimum is $100, which I think is pretty high. I understand there are factors that go into this price, such as the cost of equipment, cleaning procedures, etc., but because of the cost I’ll probably go somewhere else for a small tattoo next time.I called the day before (on Tuesday) to try to make an appointment, but was told that they only do walk-ins on Thursdays. I wasn’t available on Thursday, so I asked if I could make an appointment for Wednesday, and was told that I’d have to drive all the way there to put down a deposit (on Tuesday night, when I called). This is a weird policy to me. They said that I could just walk in on Wednesday morning and they could probably fit me in, but could not hold the spot without a deposit. So, I get there Wednesday morning, and they said they have time. However, I felt pretty rushed. The artist seemed kind of reluctant to make a few small changes to the sketch he had drawn for me. It seemed like his schedule was tight and he didn’t really have time to do it... overall, I’m happy with what I got, but I just feel like if they didn’t actually have time for me, they should have just said that and not made me feel rushed.

Great experience for my sons first tattoo. The artists made him feel very comfortable and welcomed. The tattoo came out perfect!!! My appointment is in January and I am so excited!!

I got my first tattoo today for a walk in with Adam. I came in feeling excited and happy with the finished design. I would go back for another tattoo and I wasnt feeling nervous. They are very professional and do amazing work. I absolutely adore my first tattoo and a learning experience for me. Also, I know what to expect the next time I get a tattoo.

Lovely shop, amazing artists! No pictures- they respectfully ask that you dont take any of their flash art. Just go there and experience it for yourself. The piercers are incredible! From the start I can already tell this piercing will heal properly. There was very little discomfort and bleeding, I actually forgot I had it by the end of the night. Whether its art or a piercing youre getting these people know what theyre doing.

Ive taken my girlfriend here twice for piercings and we couldnt be happier with Allisons work! My girlfriend is very skiddish when it comes to needles and piercing, but the location was very clean and relaxing and Allison was very calming and helpful. I would certainly recommend Graceland Tattoo to any friends or family members.

My best friend and I went to our appoinment here yesterday. His first tattoo and my 3rd. My first at this fine establishment. Graceland was reccommended my several of my friends including a retired tattoo artist. Did not disappoint. The shop was clean and cool and comfortable to be in. The staff was chill and everyone looked happy to be there and was helpful. We had the privilege of having Dana Hex as our artist. He obviously is very experienced and excels at his craft. My tat was a custom design I wanted but me not being anywhere near an artist All i could do was show some pics of things I wanted. He put them all together to create exactly what I wanted in the style i wanted with the look I wanted. And his execution was perfect. As I write this Im looking and my new ink and could not be happier with the entire experience and will never go anywhere else for ink work. And again, Dana was awesome!

LOVE this place! The atmosphere is relaxing and everyone who works there is super nice. I’ve exclusively gotten all my tattoos from Joe, but I’ve seen the work of the others, and they’re all phenomenal artists. So far I have four tats, two of them are on the larger side and more detailed, and I couldn’t be happier. I used to be terrified of needles and shots and swore I’d never get a tattoo... obviously Joe did a great job the first time because I returned three more times! And of course, a couple days ago when I had my most recent appointment... it definitely won’t be the last! I wish I knew how to post a picture on here!

Went to Graceland Tattoo a few weeks ago for a consultation with the owner, Adam.At first, he seemed like a nice guy but as the conversation went on, I found him to be more passive aggressive than polite and genuine, which was surprising to me and caught me off guard.Its not a very welcoming place when you walk in, either. The girl has her back to you behind the counter and the overall vibe of the place is definitely off.It was a total bummer, to say the least and ill be taking my business elsewhere.

We went for a flash tattoo day so the experience is a little different than it is when you have an appointment but we were expecting that. We still got bad ass tattoos.

Nothing but great things to say about the artists at Graceland. Amazing tattoo work and just great people to deal with! Had a coverup by Cookie, a matching black and gray with my son by Adam, and a totally original custom color piece by Dana Hex. Still thrilled everyday with all of them!

I have several tattoos however, the ones in which I have from Graceland are the best and I get SO many compliments on them. The entire staff is great and very patient. I want to get another one within the next week amd I am hoping they have appointments available!!! I recommend Graceland to everyone!!

I had my nose pierced by Allison. She was very informative, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. The shop is very clean and I would absolutely recommend for anybody who wants a piercing.

Graceland tattoo is easily the most overrated tattoo place in the Hudson Valley. They do good work and will get whatever job you need done finished but there is no room got any creativity whatsoever. If you want to change or modify your design in any way you have to pay a really big fee. I personally think this is not fair considering a tattoo is on you for the rest of your life. Another issue I have with Graceland is they are overpriced the shop minimum is $100 and even if you get a tattoo no bigger than a quarter youre paying $100 which seems astronomical.

On June 24th of last year, allison gave me the most crooked setum piercing Ive ever seen. Questioning her immediately, i was told after a couple days of healing, it would straighten out. Nieve, I believed her, because she told me all my septum piercings are guarenteed. But after a week, and it only getting worse, i returned via appointment, and was told there was nothing she could do about it. Thus, Ive learned the hard way that graceland tattoo inc is nothing more than a dirty hole in wall, which is overpriced, rude, and careless toward costumers whom its obviously wronged. I will never return, and suggest others follow my example to avoid wrong doing and frustration. Fyi I have many piercings and tattoos, so this review is due to her incompetance, not to to inexperience on either side. Besides, she has much experience, dont you think shed pay her customers a fee less lies, and at least little respect.

Graceland is top notch and if you read any negativity about these guys being un-personable they need to be slapped. Amazing shop and great safety protocols. Cookie is amazing. Went to have jewelry changed for my nose piercing and purchase a bead for another piece of jewelry. Piercer that put titanium seamless nose ring in bent ring so much that was no longer round. Went to another shop in New Jersey as was so disappointed by service piercer provided at Graceland, to have it corrected but jewelry was ruined. Would not use this shop for piercing again.

Ive been to Graceland for multiple tattoos from a couple of artists (Adam and Cookie). They are super clean and very professional. Very talented group of folks working at this shop, cant wait to go back! 🤘

Called ahead before I came in to see if they could take a walk-in peircing and they said yes! Beautiful shop when I walked in. Attentive staff and my peircer was so patient and kind with me. Got two peircings and they are healing up nicely. I forget her name but she made sure to let me know that if they dont look right/I have any concerns that I can come in any time. Thank you so much!! I will be back for a tattoo next time

Got 3 tattoos here so far and am going back soon for more, great artists here and my artist, Dana Hex, never disappoints. The last one I got was a custom one by him which he drew up himself and it came out flawless, his shading is on point for all of mine.

The people there were super super nice. i got a piercing and, and passed out right after. the lady were super chill about it, 5/5 ill defiantly be coming back to get my other ear done at a later date.

Didnt get my navel pierced here but I was having problems and stopped by and got more help then I could even imagine. Was told I was just allergic to the material and she changed the piercing for me and told me how to fix the issue. I wish I had gotten the piercing here.

Went for a tattoo. The guy that came out to talk to me about it. Tried to talk me out of what I wanted. Basically he couldnt do it. I was willing to hear what ideas he had but he just really didnt make me feel comfortable to get anything there. Not sure if the whole place is like that or just him. Ive been to many tattoos places and have a lot of tattoos.

Both Allyson and Victoria are as professional as it gets. Extremely hygenic and comfortable set up. The place is well run and has an upscale ambiance.

Really nice girl reset my daughters ear ring. We went here a year ago and i very much debated going bck. The original girl screwed up my daughters ear. This girl was fabulous.

What strikes me most about this parlor are the artists and their commitment to the craft. Few places have this many people so dedicated to something they love and live.

Got my third tattoo from Adam the other day, and it came out incredible. The experience at Graceland tattoo is always a great one. The shop is incredibly clean, everyone who works there is very kind and easy to talk to. And they offer great input throughout the process that makes everything easier.
