I got my first tattoo with Allie Hase at Waukesha Tattoo Company. She was fantastic! The shop is very relaxing, welcoming and *clean*! Allie communicated with me via email and responded promptly. I was very happy observing how much the staff at this shop take infection control very serious! My friend and I were having schedule conflicts because we wanted to go in together at the same time and Allie accommodated to our schedule and came in on her day off! She was so thorough and I appreciate the amount of times she would verify that we were satisfied with our design before she started. I would definitely go back. Her post op instructions were very clear. Price was also very reasonable for a good artist.

Had a fantastic experience with Christin getting my first tattoo in over a decade! The shop is clean and comfy and the staff is warm and fun to be around. Christin took my vision and made it into a beautiful reality. I really enjoyed my time there and my gorgeous new tattoo!! 💕

I’ve gotten several tattoos over the years at WTC and have always had a good experience. I wanted to give a particular shout out to Allie, who recently did a tattoo for me. She was so kind and professional and made me feel very at ease. I’ll definitely be back for my next tattoo.

I have been to other tattoo shops, and have a couple of tattoos. This was my first time at Waukesha Tattoo company with artist Allie! Right off the bat, Allie responded timely! She offers suggestions which I asked for and appreciated. She worked with scheduling for my friend and myself so we could have a girls day! The atmosphere was great! The shop was clean! We appreciated that! The infection control done by Allie was nice to see! Allie is so nice and definitely recommended and would go back! Thank you Allie 👏

Great tattoo shop! I’ve gotten 3 tattoos from here over the last 5 years and I’m in love with them all! I get compliments daily on them all. The shop is Very clean,comfortable, relaxing and inviting to be in. Prices are also standard for a good artist and I can’t wait to come get some more.

I love WTC! George did an amazing job with my new wrist tattoo and a touch-up on an existing tattoo. He touched up the lettering and added more the shading on the mountains on my inner ankle (before and afters shown) and it looks so much better! I’ll definitely be back when I decide on my next one! Busy place staff was freindly clean looking environment but crazy that just to buy an earring you have to make an appointment I was not looking to get a peircing or even have them put it in all I was trying to do was buy a earring and could not do that or even look at the selection without making an appointment. Pretty crazy honestly. All good though we went down the road and got one from another shop

Ended up going to a much better place! After my 5th session with my artist…I’m thinking back to this Waukesha Company that was totally rude, I willing to work with me on my ideas. Took $100 deposit on an appointment that was canceled 3 months before the appointment took place! Like you couldn’t find someone to fill that time slot. Either way, enjoy ripping me off for $100, because I’ve spent thousands at a better place, better business than you will ever be! Thanks for deleting my first review. I get it. Don’t want customers to see the real you👍🏻

I have gotten tattoos from 2 different artists here (Christin and George) and must say it is worth the wait to get in. My most recent session was with George and he has been very accommodating of my schedule and some extenuating circumstances with an artist who no longer works there who I had originally scheduled with. I do not think the covid policy is unreasonable especially since it appears to not be going away anytime soon and one would like to have a tattoo shop as clean as possible. I love that you dont have to go far to get a quality tattoo from people who genuinely enjoy what they do and put their heart into the work.

Waukesha Tattoo was amazing. Very clean and friendly staff. Every Covid precaution was taken. I had my tattoo done with George and he was wonderful. My last tattoo was done over 20 years ago so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. George communicated with me via email prior to my appointment which was great. I was nervous that he wouldn’t be able to understand my vision for my tattoo but George nailed it!! I couldn’t be more happier. I will definitely go back and see George again and highly recommend Waukesha Tattoo to anyone.

I recently had an appointment with Leah- who I have been waiting over a year to see! Her work is phenomenal and her line work is so clean! She also has a great personality. She answered all of my dumb questions and was easy going on any changes I wanted with my design. I loved the space, it was most definitely more inviting than any other tattoo shop I’ve been too. They have snacks and drinks for you to keep your blood sugar up which is something every tattoo shop SHOULD have, but this is the first time I’ve seen! The staff was friendly and I’m excited to come back!

Ive had great experiences with the piercers at this shop. Kelly did my forward helix flawlessly, and when I had to get them removed, Katie was helpful and easy to talk to. I really enjoyed my interactions with both of them, and highly recommend their services.Ive heard raving reviews about the artists here, and I love their artwork, but Ive had lesser experiences with them. For instance, I had a consultation appointment with one of the artists, and I felt like it went well. But then I never heard back in terms of design ideas or setting up an actual appointment. I would have appreciated better communication here, even if the artist had wanted to reject doing my tattoo.Overall, its worth your consideration for either piercings or tattoos. Their rates are reasonable and most of the staff is easy to socialize with. The interior decoration is reason enough to visit!

Sam did so amazing! She communicated with me via email a few weeks prior to my appointment and drew out the perfect tattoo for me. She was so polite and caring. She made sure everything was perfect and that I was comfortable and happy with everything. Her line work is impeccable. I will definitely be going back!

My friend and I had an amazing experience with Samantha yesterday! From initial email to our appointment was fantastic! During the piercing process she talked me right through it & made me feel at ease. She was so informative. Honestly one of my favorite shops. Ive gotten work done by both Leah and Sam and they freaking kill it. Definitely never feel uncomfortable when I go here either and everyones super easy to talk to. Worth the wait to get in!

I got my first tattoo done in May by Barry. It was my longest tattoo so far, 3 hours. The studio was really cool and has a great atmosphere. Like always it was chilly, so dress warm in there. My time with Barry was great because he was conversational and has some really cool stories and items in his part of the studio. I would definitely recommend his work and Id go back to him.My only heads up is that theyre super busy! I booked my appt. in march and had to wait til may to get it done. Get in for a consultation asap once you know what you want!

I just got my first tattoo here by Leah and I absolutely love it. The shop is extremely clean and welcoming, the artists are friendly, and Leah took great care to make sure the placement was exactly where I wanted it to be before she began. The lettering is clean, precise, and looks fantastic. I have already recommended this shop to friends, and will definitely be coming back to get more done. Thank you for making my first tattoo experience excellent.

Especially with artists who are booked out for a long time, I have patience, and I totally understand. Not a problem. But when I’m told over and over again by Christin that she’ll contact me when she’s more comfortable about covid, then a few weeks later see she’s back to tattoo-ing various places on clients, posting about it, but it’s still crickets to me despite communicating with her for over a year about work, it’s really disappointing. My situation was one of great sensitivity, and she blew me off despite my being willing to wait as long as it took. I won’t look to WTC for any future work.

Sam is absolutely amazing! A great artist who offered great suggestions and made the process super fun and easy. I will be coming back for more in the future.

I went in for a consultation with Barry this week with a tattoo design drawn up and ideas set in stone and needless to say I will not be returning. He didn’t even take the time to sit down and discuss my design, we stood in the waiting area and it only lasted for a good 3 minutes. Not personable or helpful at all. Be prepared to wait months for an appointment and for an expensive cost. Now getting it done within 3 days of talking with the artist at another well known place for cheaper and in one session.

Chose this parlor for my 8 year olds first ear piercings because it was local, had a good number of reviews, and high quality commentary. We were not disappointed. Everyone was friendly and the parlor was clean and gorgeous in appearance. The piercer Katie was super nice to my daughter, very kid friendly, and explained everything she was doing. My daughter very much appreciated that. I have already recommended the parlor to others and will return for any additional piercing or tattoo work I will be needing.

My tattoos from this shop are amazing and look awesome. Derek and Barry (I havent had tattoos done by any other artists but theyre all nice) are great and everyone else that works there are way nice. The interior is cool and theres a lot to look at. If you want a great tattoo in an awesome building with talented artists and an awesome staff this is the place.

I recently got a nurse pin-up tattoo by Barry. I chose him to do my pin-up after much research as he has many nicely done pin-ups posted to his online picture gallery. I am very happy with my tattoo and cant wait to show it off! :) I would definitely recommend Barry as a tattoo artist. He is very personable and makes you feel comfortable as well. I was super nervous to get my tattoo, but Christin was very calm and easy to work with. She listened to my concerns and talked me through my anxiety. While I was getting the tattoo, she was asking me about myself and I was asking about her. She is super friendly, and Id love to go back to have her do another tattoo!She did my tattoo first, and then she did my mums. She showed us how the tattoo would feel by doing a tap first, and then asking us how much it hurt. She offered to take breaks if it was too much for us. Honestly she is one of the best people around due to her artistic ability and her willingness to work with people who have high anxiety like me.

There was a wait because they didnt realize we had checked in but this was not a problem at all. He even shaved off $40 from my tattoo for it. The work that George did an absolutely amazing job on my tattoo, and I get so many compliments. I also got my nose pierced here. The place is incredibly nice and I would suggest it to anyone who wants to get a detailed tat by some incredibly skilled professionals.

I came to see christin yesterday to get my first tattoo and it was a wonderful experience! She walked me through the process and did an amazing job on the two colorful tattoos (plus the line work is great too) I wanted and recreated them perfectly 😊The shop was clean and I’ll definitely be back! Got my first tattoo done three years ago by George and my second tattoo done by Leah two years ago. Both are pretty simple, but great. George and Leah we both very friendly and helpful. WTC was very accommodating on getting me in right away for my second tattoo, even though they were pretty booked up with appointments. Im looking at getting another tattoo soon and hoping to sit down with one of the artists at WTC and plan it out. This place is clean, cool, professional, and the staff is great. I would definitely recommend it!

I had a tattoo removal session with katie and it went really well. I had no side effects except some bruising which is normal. they were flexible with me and very friendly despite needing to reschedule 100 times. my tattoo is lifting already. highly recommend :)

I went in for a piercing without an appointment when Brandi was there. She was extremely professional and made conversation, made me feel comfortable. I like that they have movies playing to distract you (not sure if this is all the time, but they had one going on that day). The price was a little more expensive than other places in the area, but not by too much. It was worth it in the end - I cannot say the piercings wouldve turned out as nicely as they did if I had gone someplace else.

I highly recommend this shop! I found it to be very clean and the entire staff was friendly and professional. George was my artist. He immediately put me at ease and was patient with my last minute ideas. The process was fast, reasonably priced, AND I got a lolly:) Looking forward to providing future business!

Sam was an absolute joy to work with today. She is incredibly knowledgeable and i would trust her with my life!!!! She made the experience so calming and easy. i really appreciate that she let me know what she was doing (starting, shading etc) and wanted to know about me. :) Not to mention she did beautiful work.

Today (8/15/15) I made an appointment with Kelly to get a nostril piercing, I was able to get in within the hour and the woman working the phones and appointments was efficient and friendly. I arrived a few minutes early to fill out paperwork (quick). The staff was friendly and accommodating, Kelly came to get my at our allotted time. The kicker is, though Im terribly afraid of needles, Ive had more then ten piercings; it is an odd thing to want piercings when you are so terrified of needles, but I am sure Im not alone in this bizarre coupling of desire and fear. Nonetheless, Kelly is incredibly kind and patient, she is full of positive life and energy that puts the person being pierced at ease. Thank you Kelly for a wonderful experience, and thank you Waukesha Tattoo Company for supporting her service.I have also now been pierced by Katie, 2 nostrils and 2 facial dermals, she is also incredible. She is efficient and kind, and most importantly a capable artist that takes great pride in her work. I never have issues with placement, or aftercare. Katies work area and sanitation practices are pristine. Thanks for the continued good service Waukesha Tattoo Company.

I got my nose pierced here a few days ago. It barely hurt and was a really great experience. Kelly made me feel very comfortable and made me laugh right before she pierced me! Such a cool location, too, and I loved the gallery!

Very new to Wisconsin, but this shop is right by my house. I have a spot I go to do all my work so now I had to find a different one.... And I found it!!! Love the staff very friendly the and the place itself is clean and very beautiful. I unfortunately locked my keys in the car once and they were very helpful! Love all the staff there great atmosphere to be around! I only gave gotten piercings there which after reading the reviews I was worried at first, but I said what the heck worth a shot, simply because the shop it self is very well taken care of and thats a must! I saw Kelly had a few good bad and normal reviews, but in person she was awesome! Very professional and friendly, she made sure I had a great experience and a fast one. Still accomplishing her job right on point. Will definitely be recommending Waukesha Tattoo Company @ galleria at least for piercings still got to find me a tatto artist and its so hard to pick from there, there are so many talented tattoo artist @ WTC!!!

George just did my tattoo tonight and he went above my expectations. He was able to complete my tattoo in the estimated time, and he also personalized the artwork to appear more feminine. He was social and made me feel comfortable. The tattoo turned out amazing!

Ive had George take care of two of my tattoos, (forearm and chest) and Ive yet to be disappointed. Super helpful and understanding for your first go at it as well as helping to keep it looking great. Plus the shading work is extraordinary

While my piercing was done well, I felt even with an appointment I waited forever and it is incredibly overpriced compared to every other place Ive gone to. Also, the piercer was not friendly at all. She was rude to my friend who came with me and she hardly said 2 words to me. The receptionist is so kind t though.

Leah is awesome. Ive gotten three tattoos from her and every one of them have been great. The staff here are great! I always feel welcome and comfortable when getting tattooed here.

I got my rook pierced at Waukesha Tattoo today. Kelly was rather unfriendly and didnt talk at all. I tried to strike up conversation with her and she didnt respond at all. I was expecting a painful piercing and thats exactly what I got. She began the piercing and had difficulty getting the earring all the way through the hole. She fidgeted with it for a few minutes trying to force it through the hole with no luck. After about 4 minutes, I thought she had successfully gotten it in. However, she took off her gloves and proceeded to ask me if it was okay that she re-pierce it. I was pretty unsure about it considering how much pain I was already in and the fact that she failed the first time. She got it right away but I have a super bloody ear due to the fact that I have an open bottom hole because she had to make a new one. I wouldnt recommend going here for a piercing. I was also charged a full $50 after the screw up.

Everyone there is super nice and friendly! I had Sam do a large, upper arm, floral piece and she did amazing! I will definitely be coming back to her for all my tattoos in the future!! :)

Ive had 2 piercings by Kelly. Both were a great experience and would recomend. Ive never had a piercing done before and she was patient and explained everything before hand. The rook in the picture was just pierced and the earlobe is about 2 months old

Barry is an absolute artist! This was my first tattoo, he made it very comfortable, talked me through the process and the end result was amazing. I am hooked and will be back for more. 5 stars hands down!

I got a nose piercing on Saturday and they seemed really knowledgable. I wasn’t happy because they only do corkscrew which I’m not a fan of because it is a lot harder to get out and it’s more of a one size fits all. I went back to Chicago (where I live) and because the stud was small and my nose started swelling badly the stud sunk down into my skin. When I called they said they didn’t have anyone who could talk me through getting it out and someone SHOULD follow up tomorrow. Since it was a new face piercing it would close by then, I told them that they need to have someone call me ASAP. The girl that called was not helpful, and told me to come back in even after I told her that I don’t live there. She tried to blame it on me and said there was nothing they could do and hung up. I can’t recommend going to them for a piercing that is over $75 because of this.

I went in for a brief consultation for a tattoo from their artist Derek and he was unfriendly and showed terrible customer service. He did offer to sit down and draw out my tattoo ideas but merely looked at a picture or two and gave me no suggestions like I wanted. Since I have never gotten a tattoo before I had lots of questions to ask but he responded to all of them in a maximum of five words which made me feel like I was wasting his time. I left and I will find a new place to get my tattoo.

My first tattoo and I love it. Christin was my artist and shes great. Goes the extra mile to accommodate you. Very clean. Highly recommended. I have several ideas in mind for my next one.

Ive come up from Texas twice to get tattooed by Leah. Shes so talented and great to work with. Awesome drawings, better tattoos. Best dot work shading out there. Beata is amazing too! We love yall!

Only speaking from the piercing aspect of this shop... needed new jewelry for two cartilage piercings and for a piercer to insert them. Made an appointment (havent had to do that at other shops), the piercer was at least 45 min late, apologized to the person waiting after me when she came to get me (?)....appt was over 30 min of getting an existing piece of jewelry out and the new jewelry in, plus another piece of jewelry inserted in an already pierced spot. After a day, one of the studs fell out. I let it go because that part of my ear had been irritated and I figured the slight swelling may have prevented her from tightening the ball all the way. Then, a week later, the ball from my second stud falls out. That piercing was not irritated/swollen at all, so I dont see any reason why the ball wouldnt have been tightened enough. Ive never had a ball from a stud fall out so quick, let alone two. The piercer asked where I got one of them done as it was an odd angle, although I have had the jewelry changed on that location before with no difficulty... In my experience, it usually takes at least year (usually two) for a ball to loosen on its own.End of story is, spent more time waiting then if I wouldve done a walk-in somewhere else, $40 total wasted from the jewelry I bought plus insertion fee, and got a vibe the piercer was annoyed the whole time...... Ive bought jewelry here once before and had a good experience, this time the lady mentioned she was covering for the usual piercer who was out on maternity leave..I dont usually make reviews, let alone negative ones, but I guess I am disappointed because tattoo/piercing shops dont offer returns of any kind so I feel screwed out of $40. Lesson learned, make sure you know about the piercer you are seeing or go to a place youve had consistent results with.

We had an AMAZING experience here. My daughter got her ears pierced, she is 4. Everything was clearly explained so she could understand. Very professional and clean. I highly recommend them.

It was an okay visit, everyone was kind. it was professional enough, but they did not give clear instructions on changing the piercing. my girlfriend had to get her nose re pierced and it seemed to hurt a significant amount more at this shop.

Barry did my first tattoo and it was a fun experience! I felt comfortable and got an A+++ tattoo that I am over the moon happy with! No doubt I will be back for another tattoo soon!

Friends and myself had tattoos scheduled with Derek. I have not been happier with a black-only tattoo and this is my fourth tattoo shop to visit. Will definitely go back just for Derek. His artistic style and humor was great to have. Clean and entertaining staff. TVs at each tattoo booth.

Had a sleeve done and am going back in 3 months for my next tattoo. Awesome atmosphere. Always a great movie on to keep you occupied. Sprecher Root Beer on tap...yum. Barry, is by far the best artist I have come across.

Worst customer service, tattoo artist didnt even look at me when talking about art. Appointments were months ahead.. And price was ridiculous. Talking about having to do 4 different sessions for a simple tattoo. Got it done for half the price, within 2 days of talking to the artist, in one session of 3 hrs, by another well known tattoo place. Only put a star because thats the only way i could post this review. Im not here to talk crap about this place, it was my experience. Others experience might of been different. But this is my story.

So I dont really do tattoos; Im more of a piercing person. The first time I went I called first to see if the piercer was in. Brandy was. So I came in and got my belly button done. The jewelry looked cute and was supposedly good, but only a couple of weeks after I got it done, one of the diamond parts fell out. However, Brandy was super cool. She went over everything about the after care process, asked me if I had gotten my belly button pierced before, etc.A little bit later, I wanted to get two dermals in my neck and asked for Brandy. She wasnt in; Kelly was. I was told the two had the same amount of experience and whatnot, and I really wanted to get it done that day, so I went in and got my dermals done by Kelly. It seemed like Kelly acted like I was crazy the whole time. I asked, I was thinking about the pros and cons of dermals and surface piercings. What do you think? (Since shes the piercer, I thought I could at least get an opinion. She simply said, Whatever you want. In my head, Im like, ooo-kay... She said the bare minimum to me the whole time I was there. The only after care she mentioned was telling me to buy the product cleaning that they have.I would go back, but I would definitely make sure Brandy is there. She was totally cool and I felt treated like she actually wanted me there and actually wanted to talk to me.

I didnt go to get a tattoo. The owner is an alumnus of Carroll College and supports a scholarship for current art students. Not only that, the perimeter of his establishment is arranged as an art gallery for students. What an amazingly generous fellow.

I had my ears pierced with a 10ga by Katie and I have to say it was super quick and easy. Not that I didnt think it would be but she was in and out in no time at all. Definitely going back for her to gauge them.

Walk-in to get my eyebrow redone. Katie is very knowledgeable, friendly and the best of all, extra clean. For a germophobe this is the best quality! Call and make an appointment.

You have to make an apointment to purchase jewelry in their show case. But thry are friendly and do a good job on oiercings snd tattoos. Just think you shouldnt have to make an appointment just to purchase jewelry.

I got my VCH done there by Kelly..she is a very nice girl..but must hate her job..because she was totally non talkative and looked pissed and bothered that she had to do the piercing.. she took me back..didnt explain at all what she was doing, she just went for it...I felt two sharp piercing pains instead of just one like it was supposed to be..I went home and my husband took pictures of it so I could see it..first thing we both noticed is that is was crooked...like bad! Totally off to my right by about 2cm..so alot Second she pierced it through the actual hood...so it was a surface hood piercing the piercing did not sit anywhere near my clit. I thought maybe I was looking at it wrong so I went in for a second opinion and sure enough the gentleman at Avant Garde who has been piercing for over 16 years told me it was completely off and the only way to fix it would be to take it out and start over :( i am so upset and went through a great deal of pain getting this done by her. She insists she did it correctly but I have pictures that prove otherwise. Please be careful when going to her.

I got a tattoo done by George. The image itself is nice but my whole tattoo is raised. Im not an expert but was told he either put to much ink in my skin or went to deep so it is raised. Im not sure if ill ever go back. Sorry just my personal experience. Its embarrassing when people ask to see it...
