I got tattooed by Sam a couple weeks ago. Along with the other tattoo artist in the shop, Sam was awesome. He worked with me and gave me the exact tattoo I wanted. He was very professional and explained every step. Now this wasn’t my first tattoo however Sam made me feel comfortable. Definitely would recommend Sam.

ZERO STARS….I went to get my helix pierced (2 right next to each other) and had to get them cut out 48 hours later. I asked if studs would be better THREE TIMES. I believed him because it’s his job, and what do I know?! The hoops were too small, he clamped them shut (which leaves a gap no matter what), the hoops were completely bent, and my ear swelled up (a normal amount) and the hoops didn’t accomodate for swelling, the opening turned into the piercing and my ear closed up in between the gap. I went to 2 different piercing places today and both confirmed that they HAD to be cut out or the hoops would be imbedded. I called and was basically blown off. You are literally throwing money away on piercings here.

My daughter and I came here to get tattoos together. The atmosphere of the place is great, everyone in there was very professional, we struck up conversations with almost everyone. Anna our tattoo artist really knocked it out of the park. She explained all that she was doing. She drew out the tattoo and asked if thats what we wanted or if we wanted to make changes She listened to my daughters idea and made it happen. She took her time and made sure that everything was done right and properly. She has a great personality, she is very friendly, and she knows her stuff. The price for us both was very reasonable. All in all we both loved Anna and we are both in love with our tattoos, and I know that I will be going back to her for future ones!!!! THANK YOU ANNA ❤️

Anna did an AMAZING job!! She made me feel so comfortable and helped calm my nerves the entire time. She explained the process to me the whole time, making the experience even more relaxed. I showed her what I wanted and she gave me exactly that. Overall, an amazing experience with Anna.

Love this shop! The people are so laid back and they do amazing work. Neil is an amazing piercer with many years of experience along with being just being down to earth and while still being professional. The tattoo artists are super cool and fun and do an amazing job! Would recommend 10 times over as the place to go for all your piercing and ink therapy needs.

They do amazing work I love my tattoo I got done by Anna she does amazing. They were very professional and great about keeping everything sterilize. Also went there to get my nose pierced and they did an amazing job with that as well! 10/10 would recommend and will be going back!

Luna AKA Chris did my nose piercing and he was AMAZING!!! He took the time to find out exactly what I wanted in jewelry, never made me feel rushed or that any questions I had were stupid or silly. He went through the entire sterilization process with me once I finally settled on the the piece that I wanted. Then when it came time for the actual piercing to happen he was just what I needed!!! He again explained everything he was going to do before he started the piercing, as well as deep breathing techniques he likes for his clients to practice before he starts. He even does them with you!! He talked and deep breathed with me through the entire process, and literally what felt like no longer than 2-3 minutes I had a perfectly placed nose piercing. Highly recommended this shop and even more highly recommended Luna!

Awesome service. Shannon was the best and removed my clients nose ring for free, and as a walk in. He educated her on the jewelry and was very personable and accommodating. My client left very pleased and happy. While there, also noticed there are a TON of piercing options and jewelry options available. If I ever need anymore piercings, will definitely be coming here!

Anna Christian is awesome. Her work is creative and she does exceptionally detailed tattoos. Her tableside manner was kind, warm, and her knowledge of her craft is apparent in the work that she does! Ill be back again soon!

Last night Anna Christian did a coverup for me and it turned out amazing ! Exactly what I wanted. She was very professional, took the time to listen to me and her work is beautiful. I definitely recommend her !

Anna is very particular and has great input as a tattoo artist. She has great attention to detail as well. Her humor helps as well and relaxing as she works with you. The rest of the crew there help eachother and very much a complete team there.

Took my son and daughter to get their ears pierced Neil was great with them and th lady up front was so.nice even gave them a certificate for getting it done I got two tattoos done by Ken he was great very nice made sure I was comfortable and did a great job

Recently, I had my septum pierced by Chris . He was very professional, clean and gentle .. I also must add that the prices were very fair. Its been a week now, and its healing beautifully. I will come back for more piercings..

The older man who does piercings pierced my nose awhile back. When I went in to ask him to change it to a hoop for me, he completely screwed it up. He couldn’t find the hole inside of my nose to stick the jewelry through, and after struggling with it for like 5+ minutes, he ended up just forcing the jewelry through. I had to restart the healing process entirely. I left the shop bloody and extremely sore, even though my original piercing had healed and been fine before this visit.DO NOT COME HERE FOR PIERCINGS! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I don’t know how this man still has a license to pierce. He should have quit forever ago lol. Also be aware that he will harass you if you leave a negative review.

My daughter wanted her ears pierced & I couldn’t find anyone else local that uses a needle and not a gun. They were clean, friendly, explained every single step, even told my daughter a breathing technique! I was skeptical to go bc years ago I went here for a piercing and it was sketchy. Now, it’s not. It’s bright and open and they were even friendly with my child! Plus the piercings look great!

Got matching tats with my best friend! The artist made a mistake coloring in the black cat but was apologetic and quick to find a fix, and it looks AMAZING. Healed way faster than my other pieces! Thanks again guys!

Got my ears gauged here. Did a great job every thing used was new out of the sterilized wrap.

Christopher is amazing at what he does! He walks you through everything he’s about to do and it’s such a stress free experience! He did my first piercing and now has a new regular!!

Christopher did an amazing job piercing my nose today! He took his time marking sure my piercings were very even, he made sure to keep everything very sanitary and clean, and made sure to walk me through each step in the process to make sure I was very comfortable. I definitely recommend seeing Christopher for any of your piercing needs!

This place has been going downhill for a long time. The older piercer seemed to finally realize he was doing a terrible job and got a new apprentice however this apprentice is also terrible. Not to mention I bought titanium jewelry from him, well, I magnet tested it, and it was not titanium. PLEASE go somewhere else for your piercings.The current piercer was told by multiple professional piercers in a piercing group on Facebook, that he was doing a terrible job and he decided to harass me over messenger since I was the one who invited him to that group, I ended up having to block him.

The staff is awesome and the artists are fantastic.. I use Anna Christian and everything she’s put on me and my wife has turned out amazing.. Neal pierced my mother and did a fantastic job.. they are always extremely friendly their prices are awesome.. I have found my tattoo shop for here into the foreseeable future

Nice guy fixed my fiances messed up piercing she received at the beach and put the right one in for her lip. We went next door to eat and it somehow fell out, and he very kindly put it back in again for her. Highly recommend this place! Seems like everyone that was in there was genuinely happy to be there and having a great time. I wish more places were as chill and nice as this place 😀 thank you!

Christopher did an excellent job on my nose piercing today. He made me feel extremely comfortable and was quick and efficient. It was a quick pinch and has only been about 6 hours, but so far it’s not even tender at all. I would definitely recommend going to see Christopher.

I got my bellybutton pierced in January and it still wasnt healed and it was pierced very wrong.

I LOVED THIS PLACE SO MUCH! A friend and I had walk ins,well we called half and hour before to see if we could come us both wanting 2 piercings each. I got my side nose and septum ,she got snake bites, I went first and it was quick and professional,made sure placement was perfect for both of our piercings. And some of the places I have been to are never so kind with their customers but they were amazing! Even when my friend got sick after her piercing they took the best care of her! I love this place and it’s worth the drive! I will definitely be coming back, you all are amazing thank you! ❤️

I wouldnt go here to get piercings whatsoever. I went a little over a week ago to get a lip piercing and the piercer put bars way too short as if to not compensate for the swelling. Had to go to the E.R to get it removed.

Neil did a great job on my helix and my nose, there was a minor accident I have heard before that my nose would be hard to pierce and it did take a little while but they turned out so amazing. Neil also did my moms dermal and it looked amazing Hopefully I can get my tongue done there as well

My wife and I recently had tattoos done at extreme expression by Anna. She is an excellent artist with a gentle touch. We were very impressed with her work.We both look forward to coming back and getting more work done. We cannot wait until our next session.

I got my second ear piercings done here, but it did not go well. The piercer used the wrong gun, and when using the right one, it did not pierce my ears all the way through. This meant that another piercer had to use tweezers and pliers to finally get my jewelry in, but only after dropping the earring backs everywhere. They were also not pierced in the same spot, so I redid one of mine myself at my house. Overall, it hurt more than any other piercing that I have gotten.I have been here before and had a wonderful experience, but this time it did not go well.

Went to get my daughters helix pierced and I got my nose repierced the following day. Walked in both times, theyre clean, wears gloves, everything in sterile packaging. Prices are good, they said if I had any problems to come straight in. Definitely recommend foe piercings.

I only gave 3 stars because of the wait for just an eyebrow piercing. Well over 30 mts. And at least 4 people were working. And no one in front of me. None of them were with other customers. For some reason, there was only one guy out of the 4 that could do the piercing. But they were friendly

Excellent customer service from Christopher and Shannon on my daughters ear piercings!! Very throughout and patient with explanations. Much appreciated since this was her first piercing.

I came in for a simple line work tattoo, discussed with Ken and he drew up a stencil. The stencil was fine, but we discussed a couple minor changes from the stencil that would be easy to freehand. The tattoo itself was not what was on the stencil, did not include the changes we discussed and was overall just poorly done. Lines are not straight or even. He shaded it in areas that didn’t make sense even though shading was never meant to be part of the piece at all. It just looks bad. I cannot recommend this place or artist to anyone. He’s very nice, but shouldn’t be tattooing if he can’t follow clients instructions or do basic line work. Ken is the only tattoo artist in the shop.

DO NOT- I repeat DO NOT bring your child here for an ear piercing!!! Worst experience ever! My daughter ended up feeling super scared and afraid- the environment is not particularly friendly, and decided to not get her ears pierced. Not only did they not refund my $55 or give me a credit- I had to fight them to get the cheap studs.Save yourself the misery, go to Charlottesville or Harrisonburg where there is a more kid friendly place. Otherwise you could be out $55.

I went in for one simple thing or so I thought.Just needed my double helix earrings changed i had pierced 2 months ago and I let the guy know that.first off he didn’t even know how to remove flatback earrings he was already hurting me and I second guessed my decision coming to his shop while I was sitting there, seeing he didn’t know what he was doing.I brought my own earrings in 14 kt gold he bent my earrings before he put them in for what reason I do not know then when he finally got it in my ear which took forever he tried to bend it back while in my already sore ear and I’m bleeding at this point. When I walked out I was shocked, he even charged me or didn’t say sorry that he messed up he just let me walk out with a bleeding swollen ear and bent up earring I paid $200 for and acted like it was perfectly fine. When I got this piercing it did not hurt it wasn’t in this place that’s for sure. I think he should give my money back for my earrings he damaged at the very least.

I came in today for my 14th birthday to get my nose pierced and it was amazing. it took awhile to get my information processed but that is expected with any piercing place. staff was very helpful with picking jewelry as well. the piercing itself was painless (keep in mind this varies person to person) and was extremely quick. they also gave me a printed sheet with information on my piercing and how to care for it. definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a good quality piercing for fairly cheap mine was $63 including tip.

I went to get my back dermals done, once i left the jewelry fell out. I went back to pick new jewelry and the piercer couldn’t get the jewelry back in, he tugged until i bled heavily and it swelled. then proceeded to tell me to come back later. i will not be coming back ever. If you have been piercing for as many years as you say you have a problem like missing jewelry should be an easy fix. i will never be going back.

I’ve gone to see Neil for piercings as well as my mother and my aunt! I grew up going to this shop. They’ve always been so sweet and so helpful! I’ve taken friends here to get piercings as well. Neil always knows how to calm someone down or make someone laugh to make the process easier. & for those who say their piercings are never right or get infected, you’re either A) allergic to the type of metal or B) not doing proper aftercare . 😉

My appointment was at 2 for a simple ear piercing for my daughter. It is now almost 3 pm and I am still standing here waiting on even being acknowledged! A family of 6 with NO appointment and ALL of them getting piercings got taken for service before us. This is not a good way to run a business!

Went here today for a nose piercing. Everyone was polite and professional. Very clean and efficient. I’ve have other tattoos and body piercings and this was 10:10 the best experience. Will return for any future work.

I got my first nose piercing here, the guy who peirced it did an amazing job and very chill!! but due to me taking improper care, it got infected. went back for a 2nd time, and again it was amazing. he did a great job each time. very chill old timer. will definitely be back for future piercings!

Very nice staff. My piercings, with a needle, third in each ear were never sore or red afterwards and they are healing better than any other piercing I have had done. This was my first time at EE and I will be going back.

Multiple people in the shop not wearing a mask when I walked in. Should have RAN when I noticed but the piercer was wearing his and I didn’t want to be rude so I stayed. I really wish I had trusted my gut because the experience was horrible. Piercer COULD NOT PUT IN A CAPTIVE BEAD after trying for 5+ minutes and then INCORRECTLY PIERCED MY TRAGUS. The needle went thru the surface and not the cartilage. Do not trust this place for your piercings. I never leave reviews but this is the worst experience I’ve EVER had with a piercer. I’ve been to tons of shops & have never had anything like this happen to me before. The only good thing I have to say is I got my money back, which I appreciate but it did not make up for how bad that was. This man should not be allowed to pierce people.

I’ve had quite a bit of work done by Sam recently and he is incredibly talented. Beautiful tattoos every time. His attention to detail is very much appreciated. I don’t know if I’m more impressed by his linework or his shading. Super clean work each visit. I’m always very happy when I leave. Would recommend this shop and would very highly recommend Sam.

I got a navel piercing there and the truth is that it was located in the wrong place and it got infected after 3 days, I tried to leave it but it was very badly done and I had to remove it :( I do not recommend the place at all but if you want to have a simpler piercing is fine.

I sat my daughter up an appointment 2 weeks ago for today at 2pm. We were running late so I called them at 1:55 pm while I was on the way since I live over an half hr away to let them know I would be 10 mins late. The man that answered the phone said I will let him know. We arrived at the shop it was alot of people in line waiting to be helped. There was 1 man behind the counter taking care of people and doing piercings at the same time. He never acknowledged that we were even there. At 2:30 after standing for 20mins I walked around all the people and told him I had the appointment, he tells me that he doesnt know where the guy Ken is and says he doesnt know whats going on with that dude is what he told me. He said we could wait around if we wanted to see if he showed up. After 15 more minutes I just told him we were leaving. I wish the guy on the phone would have told me that when I called, so I wouldnt had to have wasted our time or gas!

Yes our whole family got pierced that day & you had some words to say in regard to our 2 year old which happened to be none of your business & yes we allll had an appointment prior to yours. Annnd we let others go infront of us being that they would be busy with our crew of 6 for a little while... So in reference to Kasey Williams its free to mind your own business!! My best friend and I went in for walk in appointments for a simple design. The tattoo was very plain. It should of been easy. Ken the artist has a sign that says been tattooing since 1985! Hers he redid 3 times because lines are unsteady and he outlined through the colored area. Mine has blown lines, unsteady lines, and ink outside of the outline. Additionally, after going over multiple times it still has white spots. The solution offered to fix was to let him at it again! Thats unreasonable considering the current condition of both tattoos.

Got my nose pierced and my roommate got a tattoo. Only advice is the piercer didnt give any after care instructions Ive had multiple piercings tho so I know what to do. The tattoo artist was great and helpful when my roommate fainted.

I walked in on a whim and one dude was literally talking very derogatorily about women. And how great it felt to yell at them. Needless to say I walked out immediately.

Idk how to attach a photo to this review but my belly ring is def infected. Im pretty sure the sterling silver had nickel in it. And I literally got my nipples pierced the same day at another shop and cared for both of them the same and my nipples are fine. I just took my belly ring out and im letting it close up so I can get it done somewhere else. The peircing wasnt even lined up right like it didnt go through my belly button. The guy that pierced it barely said two words the whole time..... overall bad experience and waste of money.

Christopher was very clean and sanitary. He was very kind and very willing to please. I would definitely ask for him again, his service was outstanding.

I had a cover up done Friday and it looks worse than the tat I had to begin with. Ken said hed fix it he even stated to me where the mess ups were but no thank you the entire tat will be redone by a real professional. Waste of my money but lesson learned .

I had Ken as my artist. He was very patient, and very kind throughout the whole thing. The piece he did on my arm came out absolutely stunning, and i couldn’t be happier :) I highly recommend if it’s your first time

They were not on time even though we made a appointment. When he pierced my nose he put the earring inside the wall of my nose and I had to go back for him to redo it. The only pain I had was caused by the man doing it wrong. I would never go here again. Paid and tipped him for such poor service.I WAS VERY STILL THIS WOULD BE MY 16TH PIERCING I AM NOT NEW TO THIS. IT ONLY HAPPEN AT YOUR SHOP NO WHERE ELSE. You just messed up!

NEVER EVER GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS. I came here for a lip piercing. The man that gave me the piercing didn’t disinfect the jewelry and placed the piercing way to high it ended up going through my actual lip. He did not close the piercing properly. The piercing was painful for weeks and since he gave me no real instructions on what to do in case it seemed infected I left it in hoping it would heal. My piercing never fully healed and grew a massive painful white bump inside my lip. I was disappointed and decided to take it out to find pus oozing out of it for days. Do note that I took care of it exactly the way the information sheet told me to. And I’m now left with a nasty mass in my lip.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. My daughter was treated well and the facility is exactly what you expect out of a tatoo and piercing parlor. Wed come back.

I went to get my helix pierced about 2 months ago. It become very sore. I went to see another piercer and it was crooked. He then told me that it’s not crooked, and then shoved a stud in my ear causing EXTREME pain. My ear swelled to about 3x it’s size and immediately had to take it out because the bar was too short.

I was able to get in right away fir a piercing but the cashier seemed a little off. I had to repeat my address and birthday like 5 times. The stuff was not very sociable but over all it went OK 👌

I got my belly button pierced today and it was very clean and Neil talked me through it and it was very quick piercing and I barely felt it.

My experience was great. I went to get my nose pierced for my 15th birthday. Neil did a great job. I plan on going back and getting more piercings.

I know the owner personally for 10+ years. They have always given excellent services and are very friendly. I travel 2 hours 30 minutes last Saturday to have my nipple pierced.

My daughter, my best friend and myself decided we were going to get matching 3D butterflies for my birthday. I went to two different shops before going to Extreme Expressions. Ken opened up just for us on a Wednesday when they are normally closed. Unfortunately my friend didnt get to make it, but Ken did a great job on my daughter’s and my tattoos. Will not hesitate to go to Ken again in the future. Thats to all.

An older guy named ken did my tattoo. Me and my boyfriend were in there for almost 2 hours just to get a very small $60 tattoo. Ive gotten multiple small tattoos before and theyve never taken as long as he did. The tattoo it self is the worst tattoo ive ever gotten. The only plus to this place is the artists there are kind.

I went to get my nose done. mortally terrified at first until the man and i had a conversation and everything and i became more comfortable. everything went great from walking in , sitting in the chair , and only having a little blood after my piercing. i reccomend going here and i hope to get the rest of my peircings or tattoos here. thank you

I got my tattoos done here on several occasions and I was satisfied each time great costumer service I RECOMMEND!!! when you do go there ask for ken hands down most amazing person you’ll ever met.

I havent been this grossed out in a very long time. I called ahead to get my nose pierced, drove an hour there, and when I walked into the door, all of my senses were exploding. There were people EVERYWHERE. There were two men that worked there just chit chatting with two other people who were saying the N word every 3 seconds, there was a family forcing their child to get her ears pierced (the child was not only screaming, but the man trying to pierce her was using a piercing gun, AND the piercing chair was facing a giant window to the street. What?!). Then there were 5-6 teenage girls cackling about what they should pierce and taking up half of the walk in area.NO ONE said a word to us, no one asked if I had an appointment- nothing. It smelled like a barn in there, the people that work there are incredibly unprofessional, and maybe you guys should look into a waiting area if youre going to make all of your customers crame into the doorway.Im so incredibly glad I walked out as fast as I walked in and took my business elsewhere.

I got my tongue pierced by Neil. Very patient, kind, clean and professional. I’ve gotten pierced by him before and I’ll continue to come here for all my piercings. Love this place

The artist are some of the slowest Ive worked with. A tattoo that could take 20 minutes is an 3 hour ordeal. And Im all for detail but it not anything you couldnt get done at any other shop. Dont waste you entire day at the place.

My daughter and i got piercings in both ears and they are all way off. We are not happy with this at all. I would hope that this place will or can make it up to us, i will be giving them a call tomorrow.

I got my belly done there it was good up until now they went to far back and my belly is ripped and now I gotta take it out my step sis went threw the same thing and she had to get her belly re done

Poor experience with ear piercings. I was pierced with an incorrect earring size, so if fell out the next day. The piercer seemed rushed as well.

I Got my very first professional peircing here at 13 and my 2nd at 17. :) the owner did both that was over 10 years ago loved the place.

Bought a nose ring from this store and it rusted in two weeks and turned skin on my nose green. very surprising for a piercing shop to sell terrible quality jewelry.

Horrible piercing dermal is crooked and the top came off so now I have a post sticking out my skin and its not even 2 months old. Waste of money
