Creative Hands Tattoo Shop

My friend and I were in Gettysburg and decided to look at piercings places. Every place we called was awful and rude. When we called creative hands they were so friendly and nice answering the phone. When we got there we waited about an hour while other people were in line as walk ins as well. Rat the piercer was phenomenal! He did a tragus on me and switched my conch stud to a hoop for me as well. He was so sweet and funny. He told us personal stories and talked to us about our nursing path in college. He made us feel at home. He gave us so much info on our piercings placements, healings etc. we LOVED HIM!! We will definitely be back and HIGHLY recommend:)

I got my second hole on my earlobe repierced and my friend got both nostrils pierced and our piercer did a great job. I’m bad with names but from the other reviews I think the name was Rat. We were talking about how much we loved rats and the room was decked out with rat decor so it checks out. I felt like he really knew what he was doing and he pierced us super quickly and calmly so we were in and out and everything looked great. I just got it done yesterday so it’s still early in the healing process but I don’t even notice I have a fresh piercing, it feels great. Basically just great service from a cool dude and the prices are kinda unbeatable so leave a nice tip. I think this is my new place.

I just want to start off with WOW! This place is great. Big Nate the owner is an incredible artist. He wont get set up until you are there in front of him. (The comfort of knowing its sterile) He is also the only current piercer there. Very careful. Can help you with any question you have. Now lets talk about prices... If you live within 50 miles of Big nate, hell, 100 miles from him. You wont find someone as talented and low in price as Big Nate. His employee Ron does good work too. Go in there and get some ink!

Hands down, this is the only place I will ever go. Nate is just awesome, as an artist, business owners and friend. Very happy with the tattoos hes given me, my wife and now my step daughter (her 1st one). Very proud of how far hes come over the years. Keep it up brother 🤘🏻

Great little shop, was here 3 years prior to get piercings and they were done well, just came back recently for a quick walk in appointment for a tattoo along with my girlfriend. My girlfriend has gotten a few tattoos now from their artist Brittany, and I just got one as well. She does great work!! Fun time as well with conversations and easy to talk to. Shes definitely dedicated to her work as well as pleasing her clients. Highly recommend!!!

Stopped in today to see if I could talk to someone about touching up a small tattoo. (Done by another shop)The artist I spoke to was short and rude with responses I have always liked creative hands only ever got piercings done there by Rat he’s awesome! But after today I felt disrespected and don’t think I want to continue doing business with creative hands.

Creative Hands is the best place to go if you live locally! Ive had all of my piercings done there by Ken Rat, and my most recent tattoo was done by Nate, and I plan on going back there to get any of my tattoos for as long as Im living in the Waynesboro area! The atmosphere is relaxing and laid back and the staff gets along with each other and they treat each other like family in there and I love it!

I’ve gone here for all of my piercings. Rat is friendly, funny and professional all at the same time. I will never use another piercer. He just did my septum tonight and he was great! I barely felt thing. Highly recommend!!!

Left a bad review for a friend but they are crazy. Person didnt like their piercing and the owner offered to take it out and not charge them for the jewelry or needle used to do it because they werent happy with it. Free. Not happy with that. 25$ for piercing here cost them 75 to get it redone somewhere else.

Cleetus made us feel very comfortable. He has a great personality. He did a fantastic job on our mother daughter tattoos. Would recommend him to anyone.

Love rat he has done multiple piercings for me he’s very quick and precise and kind he did my belly button, vertical labret, and nose and I always will always come to here he’s very knowledgeable and kind! Recommend rat to everyone for piercings!

Rude, unprofessional, and uneducated. I went along with my two friends to get piercings. My one friend got a tongue pierced and the man who did it was named Ralph he was VERY rude from when we first talked in. He had a very nasty attitude. When we told the owner Nate about the employee Ralph they laughed about it and tried to make excuses.

I had a wonderful experience with Rat. I had a nose piercing that I was worried was closings, so I went in to have a professional look at it. Rat was quickly able to assure me that it was not closing, and was able to painless close the loop jewelry I was wearing. Its been a little over a month, and I havent had any problems with my piercing since. Thank you!

Miranda is awesome, she does great work. Shes patient, takes her time to make sure everything is exactly right, shes very knowledgeable and she cheerfully answered my many questions. The shop is very clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. Ill definitely go back and recommend her to my family and friends.

They are very nice, friendly and helpful. They do everything they need for legal purposes for people under the age of eighteen and being a parent that is perfectly fine with me. Young adults under eighteen might think it is stupid but you have to think they can get closed down if they do something the law doesnt like and then they lose their income for themselves and their families and then you cant get all the things you want done because their not around anymore. The work they did was done well and he explained everything we needed to do to take care of work we had done. The price was really good too.

We have been here twice. The 1st time was for a tongue piercing. My daughter wanted this done so badly but her anxiety became so overbearing she couldnt do it. Rat was her piercer. I have never in my life seen such patience and understanding from an artist. It took my daughter over an hour to get the courage up and he sat with her the entire time. I became so agitated at my daughter I was making her worse and had to leave. Im embarrassed to say that but its true! She finally did it and was the happiest 17 yr old ever! We went back today for her nose piercing and she only wanted Rat to do it. Thank God he was there! And this time I stayed outside! Lol Thank you for showing such compassion when I could not. You have a client for life! Trust me, she will be back wanting more piercings and a TON of tattoos!

Took my daughter there today to get her ears done and everyone was so amazing,so much so that I left with my nose pierced. The placement on both of us is perfect and the process was professional but not awkward. I highly recommend.

Got my nose done w Rat, he was amazing, everything was clean & sanitary. I watched him pull all equipment fresh out of the packaging! He made me feel so calm & cool before the needle which was amazing. It barely hurt. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because no after care was discussed at all or tools/whatever is needed to keep the piercing clean.

I got a piercing from Rat, who was professional, timely, and precise with my lobe piercings. He did a job well done, and for a fair price as well. I would recommend coming here for piercings for sure.

Nate is the man! Great work everytime I see him. Travel 2 hours to come up and get my work done. But its worth it. Quality of his work is always on point and he runs a very clean and professional shop! Make that appointment you wont be dissapointed!

Between my mom sister and I we have had 7 piercings there and I love them. So clean and nice. “Rat” was amazing and did a great job. I love seeing that you watch him open the sterile tools. Thank you so much rat.

Went and got my septum done. Always wanted face piercings but was always nervous about the needle. “Rat” helped out and made funny jokes, 10/10 going back again soon for sure

Prices were great, people were great, everything was pretty good. The only issue I had was that my two nose piercings started to become imbedded in my nose and the jewelry had very little space to move. obviously, that became infected and thats my fault because I had to rip them out (it started to scab over the jewelry) and replace it with jewelry I had from my previous nose piercing. Other than that, everything was pretty good, they were quick, they made us feel comfortable.

Ive been here twice for tattoos for myself, and was with my daughters when they got theirs. Nate is a talented artist, and a personable guy. Everyone in his shop is friendly and professional, his pricing is reasonable, and Id recommend him highly to anyone interested in the services that his shop offers.

I absolutely loved this place. But there was some issue that I ran into that I just had to give 4 stars. I went here a year ago, which I just learned the person I went to is now an former employee. Him and my husband went way back from when they were little so I chose to go to him specifically. Well I was quoted a certain amount for what I wanted done. With all the breaks, eating and fooling around, I didnt get all I had asked for and what I was quoted for. I didnt get any color and wasnt able to do the other sign all because we ran out of time but was told he was able to get it finished for what I paid him for. And then just to cut me short in the end. Next time, Ill definitely do know not to go to others that I know because it makes it hard to come foward about it. Other then that. I love my work. Minus some line work mess ups. But I like it.

Absolute BEST shop EVER. Super cheap prices along with the most patient people ever. It took me over and hour to work up the courage to pierce my tongue and ken just sat there and waited for me to be 100% ready. Super quick and barely hurt! Highly recommend!!

Very comfortable piercing environment! I was in and out within 5 minutes! I have a deviated septum but he did a wonderful job working with it.

I had my dermal done there. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to take a few minutes to answer/explain any questions... Price was right. I will definitely be returning in the future. Got a nose and daith piercing today! My piercers name was Rat, he was amazing, he talked me through the whole process, asked me if I needed and after care information and gladly helped me when I said yes, he was fun to joke with and a pleasure to do business with as well. I also was able to see him unpackage the needles and such so there was no worry with that, thank you Rat, and thank you creative hands tattoos for such a pleasant experience!

The piercer was awesome in can’t remember his name but he was a little older and had a big beard was super chill and nice ! I got my ninny’s pierced he was fast and efficient! it hurt but that’s to be expected lmao it’s been 3 hours and they’ve stopped hurting almost completely now ! 🖤

This was my first trip to this shop, I have been to A LOT of tattoo shops in my years and this is absolutely the nicest. From the outside it looks like a little shop with maybe a couple chairs but it is anything but small! I passed 3 or 4 on the way to my room and it just keeps going, notice I said room? Yep rooms, with doors, well thought out and completely equipped to handle anything you could want. Maybe times have changed but Im used to being on display to anyone coming in the front door, but here I couldnt even see the front door. The only thing I can even think to complain about is the parking, if you have a normal size car youre fine but big trucks are a bit tricky. I dont see myself going anywhere else in the future.

Ive had 1 tattoo, snake bites, tongue and lip done here. They are awesome, Rat has become a friend and has always answered any questions or concerns Ive had without hestation.

I called in and asked if they had time to an ear piercing appointment for my daughter and they said yes. We showed up and they asked for her birth certificate and school ID. They never told me to bring any of that information over the phone I drove from chambersburg so that was a 60 minute drive to and from that was wasted. I asked like they didn’t care at all. I will never go back to this place again.

DO NOT GET A PIERCING HERE. I got my nose pierced on a Friday, and by that Monday I had to go somewhere else to get it taken out. He pierced my nose ring crooked, and way too high causing it to imbed into my nose. It couldve been seriously infected/ surgically removed if I would have waited. Also, didnt even check my ID before piercing. Would definitely recommend another piercing studio

I suffered from Migraines for years, sometimes two or more a month. I took prescribed medications, but found it difficult to live my life around 9 little pills in a 30 day period. I did my due diligence and found Nate. I walked in with a Migraine and walked out without one. Today marks 30 days with no Migraine. I am cautiously optimistic. I cant say enough about Nate and his professionalism. Yes, it does hurt(momentarily), but its like Nate said, does it hurt as much as a migraine??? Absolutely not!

The most unprofessional shop I’ve ever set foot in. I set an appointment 4 days in advance, just to sit for an hour past my appointment time, just to be told I would have to wait another 20 mins. If I could give 0 stars I would. I strongly recommend going elsewhere. Very unprofessional.
