Suicide Kings Tattoo

Ive gotten a tattoo from an artist that goes by the name Jay at this shop I got a tattoo that had several blew out lines but was ok overall so I decided to schedule for another one, I scheduled and we proceeded to get the tattoo, the problem is the guy put old ink or contaminated ink so the black ink looks faded on certain areas also he chose to put white ink on my very dark skin which now has my tattoo looking like burn marks or scars. I have reached out several times on this matter with no reply. Not saying racism played a factor but my people be careful with dealing with this shop or even better go somewhere else. This is a friendly warning to anyone trying to get a tattoo from Suicide Kings in Westland. DO NOT GO HERE!I happened to have the unlucky experience to have to try and deal with Chris Crush. The words I would use to describe him would be short, rushed, and DISRESPECTFUL.My mother wanted to get a very simple tattoo done and he would not even give her the time of day to hear what she even wanted. He told us He doesnt want to come off as rude but he is Direct. If Direct is being disrespectful and making a client feel uncomfortable then he is very direct.Not only was he disrespectful to my mother he did it in front of me and my two younger brothers. Completely UNACCEPTABLE!!After we had walked out not even getting a tattoo he tried to send me text messages on why he thought he was right. Nothing but empty apologies to make himself feel better after treating a family poorly.We also had out appointment set for 5pm. We decided to get there 20 minutes early so we were on time. He told us he would be 20 minutes late to our appointment. Another individual had showed up AFTER we had gotten there and got taken back to do her tattoo before he even started talking to us.I have been to Suicide Kings in the past at the old location and it is NOTHING like that now. Not sure if this is new management or what they are doing over there but this is TERRIBLE.Save yourself the time, money, and a headache and go to a place that will take time for you and make you feel comfortable. Suicide Kings is not the place to get your next tattoo.

Wouldn’t recommend going here I got two tattoos by a tattoo artist named Ivory and I wouldn’t recommend going to her at all. She said she was going to charge me 100$ for two tattoos she know she did a horrible job so she charged me 50$ for both but I gave her 60$ for her time on one tattoo I specifically told her I didn’t want the heart shaded in red anymore and she said okay, takes it upon herself to do what she wants to do and shaded it in anyway and tried to tell me I didn’t tell her that which is ridiculous 0/10.

First of all dont ever go here. Worst place to go to. Chris crash will rush your tattoos then get mad at you for asking for a touch up just to say your talking crazy n to never come back again . Dont come here. He rushed my hand tattoo and other tattoos and all needed touch ups . Blocked me from.contacting him because asking for a touch up is harassing him. Dont cone here. Worst mistakes of my life. Plus they dont make you sign waivers . He picks and chooses who to do a better job on n what not too legit rushed my tattoo now I have to find sumone else to fix it. 🙃

Chris did a fantastic job on my Star Wars sleeve! He’s relatable and an excellent tattoo artist. I’ve been wanting a sweet Star Wars sleeve for a while, and he made it happen. I’m gonna use him as my only tattoo artist for the future.

Absolutely Loved this Place!!!! I had just come out to Michigan because my Sister had her first baby (My First Nephew) And wanted to get a tattoo of his name before heading back. I have called numerous places trying to see if I could get a quick tattoo and no one until ♡Joell♡ at Suicide Kings was able to squeeze me in. She was so patient and passionate about her work and give her a 10☆ on the amazing tattoo she did for me. Everyone at the place really are down to earth, friendly, funny, and caring. If you want a tattoo they are the best to go to hands down. Definitely will be getting another in the future when I come to visit my sister again ♡

My most recent tattoo done by Chris. Fantastic experience once again, I can always be confindant about getting inked here. Friendly and skilled artists. I have also gotten four other pieces here all excellent tats.

Ive been loyal to Suicide Kings since Chris opened it in Belleville. He still opens it and goes through and cleans everything again.Always qualify & guaranteed work by ALL artists.Personally? Only Chris can tatt me. But everyone he hires does amazing work. The vetting process is thorough, and with good reason.!You wont be disappointed at all!I havent been in my many years of getting tattoos done by Chris Crash!

Decided to get my navel piercing done here after my sister and friends have had very positive experiences with piercings and tattoos here. The employees are all so personable and friendly and made getting my piercing an enjoyable experience even though I came in there a nervous wreck. They have lots of pretty, great quality jewelry to pick from and Meatloaf was awesome!! Will be coming back here for all my future piercings. I highly recommend!

The shop was very clean and everyone that works there was super friendly and funny. Scott was my artist And he made a tattoo I hated into the most awesome piece of artwork on my leg. If I could give this place a 10 star, I would. Was researching some places to do a simple second ear piercing and found this one. I called and made an appointment for the next day. Meatloaf really made the process easy and comfortable, and honestly after I went home I totally forgot I even got the piercing...thats how well it went! Everyone in the shop was really nice and friendly. If youre looking to get a piercing I definitely recommend this place. Very professional and welcoming. Love my piercing and if I decide to do another Im coming here. Thank you!

I have been here twice for tattoos and most recently a new piercing. The artists in the shop are just awesome. Professional and talented, they do an excellent job of making you comfortable and they bring your idea to life. My experience with meatloaf (the piercer) was beyond stellar. As a nurse, cleanliness is a big deal to me and I felt like his area was cleaner than some ORs I have been in! (The whole shop is exceptionally neat and clean.) He did a FANTASTIC job of making me comfortable, my partner comfortable and educating us on proper care of my new piercing. I was absolutely put at ease with him for what could have been a very awkward/uncomfortable piercing. I have never had less than a fantastic experience here and I will not be going anywhere else for my tattoos/piercings!

This is literally the only place I will ever go to get tattoos. Chris (the owner) is my go to guy 100% of the time. His work is amazing and hes super friendly and handles my low pain tolerance. I tell everyone who asks, to go here. The other employees are awesome as well. Always very welcoming and friendly.

I love this shop. I drive over an hour just to come here. Chris and Jamie do amazing work as well as the other artists they have working there. Jamie did phenomenal job on my cover up piece. I promise you will not be disappointed with the work you get done from Suicide Kings.

Meatloaf the piercer is awesome (: He’s done three of my piercings and he’s always extremely professional, sanitary and very outgoing. If you like to talk Star Wars this also makes the experience even better! Thanks for the piercings Meatloaf! I’ll continue to go to him for my body modifications.

I got a tattoo here with Scott last year and its wonderful. This week I went to get a daith ear piercing with Meatloaf. Not only was he personable he was laid back and really eased my anxiety. The pricing is more expensive than other places but thats worth it for quality. They use American made jewelry of the highest quality which helps healing time. Seriously I am impressed. I wish I could give more than five stars.Edited to add 8/11/18- got my nostril pierced at 2pm today. Was another amazing experience I wouldnt ever go anywhere else!

Went in for my first tattoo ever yesterday (I’m over 60). The guys were great, Scott was my artist. I brought drawings in and he slightly revised them to perfection. While Scott was tattooing, the other guys kept me entertained, I love their humor & down to earth personalities. I left with 2 beautiful tattoos, one on my wrist & one on my shoulder. I may even be back for more! I highly recommend this place & Scott!!BTW, it was not painful in the least, actually therapeutic, just like Scott said it would be.Suicide Kings rock!

Great place very friendly staff! Ryan has done two pieces for me and Im extremely happy with both. All of the other artist seem to do great work as well. Will continue to go here for all my future art work.

Tattoo shop is horrible. I waited for 3 hours to get my tattoo done. Chris customer service is terrible and acts like he is the only one in the area that does tattooing, very rude individual. I walked out and took my business elsewhere.

These guys don’t screw around. They r very professional and nice to talk to. Ryan did two of my tattoos. And I will go back to him. He took something that I wanted done for a long time and made it better then my idea. You won’t be upset with him.

I received the best customer service at Suicide Kings. They are really friendly and made me and my family feel welcome. We had a large party but we all were done efficiently and LOVED our tattoos!

I went yesterday to get my tragus pierced. The shop was clean and everyone who worked there was really nice. I got pierced by Meatloaf, he explained everything really thoroughly, he made sure everything was sanitary and he told me what he was doing as he was doing it, which made me feel a lot more at-ease. All in all, I felt like it was a really good experience and I would recommend getting a piercing done there if youre thinking about getting one! :)

This place is fantastic!! Meatloaf pierced my nose, and the experience was awesome. He was super knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly! My piercing looks great, too! I will definitely be coming back in the future.

I only go to get tattoos here. My husband and I have been customers for a couple years now. We usually see Ryan but everyone is so good and friendly. The shop is clean, comfortable, and everyone is so careful about sterilization. Its a very trustworthy shop. Ill never go anywhere else.

Went in this evening for a scheduled appointment and was worked with promptly. Ryan took the time to go over all the details and did an excellent tattoo! I was super happy with the results! Highly recommend!

Meatloaf is the MAN. I would definitely recommend this place for piercings! I stopped at a couple of other places before I ended up here for my nose piercing. The professionalism here was nowhere close to being matched at those other places. Anthony (Meatloaf) made me feel comfortable AF and made the experience over all as enjoyable as impaling your face can probably get! You can tell this guy knows his stuff, I could even over the phone. The materials he used for my piercing were way better than the other places I had stopped by first and he has a process to make the stud any color youd like. I chose yellow gold. 5 stars.

Went in for piercing, waited half an hour to be seen, which was fine. Then saw the only guy thats able to do piercings, talked for about half an hour, and he told be to come back in one hour so he can sterilize all his tools. So I did, understandable. When I got back, I waited another hour and walked out. Completely ridiculous and unprofessional. Thought that time was money and they had a business to run, but instead they wasted almost my entire day off. Would never recommend to anyone.

Ive been getting tattoos since I was 15, I am 39 now. Found this place about 5yrs ago and have gotten many tattoos from several artists at this shop. From the moment you walk in they make you feel like family. Great artists, great owner, great place. I will never go anywhere else.

Literally the absolute worst. They are rude and not flexible at all. They tell you what they want to and however you want to, if you dont have a free mind and youre willing to do and pay to have people talk to you like crap, this is your shop! (: otherwise, the only good thing about this shop is that they are open at 11:00am and most places dont. Tatted up has $20 piercings and are willing to do whatever the PAYING CUSTOMERS need.

Meatloaf is amazing!!!! Only piercer that I trust with my dermals. I love the fact that he does piercings and only piercings, so he had been able to master his craft. Cant wait until I get my next piercing.

I had the opportunity to come here a week ago. I’ve been ready to get this sleeve done for about a year and a half. Originally I was really disappointed that I couldn’t get this done in Ft Lauderdale, FL at my usual parlor but I couldn’t. It turned out to be the best case scenario by far. When I got home to Michigan, I went to Suicide Kings and booked an appointment with Scott. I have a bunch of tattoos but honestly I wish this guy would’ve done all of them. Atop of his all-world quality, this man finished an outer arm 3/4 sleeve in 3 hours. I’m heading back in a few weeks to get my inner bicep and the rest of my forearm done for this sleeve. We could’ve finished it all at once but after we got done laying the foundation of the tattoo I was satisfied for the day AND Scott actually wanted to stop so I could have time to think about how I wanted my forearm to look. I’ve never had a tattoo artist with such great customer service. The guy that’s in charge and is managing Suicide Kings, he’s a pretty good guy and it appears that he only hires very qualified tattoo artists. Scott took my design idea and worked off of it creating his own, and it is absolutely awesome. I highly recommend that if your looking to get some ink done, call Suicide Kings and book an appointment . If your looking for a sleeve, I would highly recommend Scott. He can take your design and tat it up for you, or if you let him, he will make it better. Scotts quality is so top notch that he has a small fan base. During my tattoo , two men stopped in to ask Scott about a design. He didn’t pay them much mind as he was taking care of my sleeve. His customer service was seriously second to none, the atmosphere was perfect. It’s been 5 days and my tattoo looks about halfway healed up allready as well. This guy makes getting a tattoo sound feel like a fun, exciting experience rather than going to get your skin poked with needles.Edit : January 7th, 2018I came back to Suicide Kings one week later and finished my sleeve tattoo. I was more comfortable this time so the experience was even better. Scott finished my tattoo in two and a half hours and it is sweet. He did himself just by redesigning it 3 times before he began laying down ink, he wanted my tattoo to be perfect. He did tribal on the outer arm, and inverse tribal on the inner arm. This was all his design and his ideas. He is not just a tattoo gun operator, but also an amazing artist, something that can be very hard to find. By word of mouth he’s allready booked out almost a month because of how good he is. If you need any work done, especially a big tattoo that you want an artist who can make it flow and look good, I highly recommend Scott. He’s the man for the job. Customer Service and Hospitality is as good as it gets up here in the North . There are a lot of tattoo artists in this world that will make mistakes, Scott is not one of those guys. He gets an A+ in every aspect. Design, speed, comfortability, attitiude, cleanliness, recommendations for healing, and customer service. If your planning to get a nice looking tattoo, please go or call up to Suicide Kings and ask for Scott.

I got a tattoo on the Lower part of my leg and it turned out great. I love it. The guy I got it from was awesome and professional the whole time I was in the chair. He talked to me, asked me questions and all the other nonsense. The facility is nice and clean. I will get all my future tattoos here from now on.

Ive got to say my two tattoos Ive got from Nate are amazing. No hassles. Cant argue with ink that looks exactly how I wanted it to look like. Laid back, suave, cool, easy going. Nates your man.

I got multiple tattoos done at Suicide Kings and they came out amazing. Karlos, who did them, explained the process including the use of sterile needles and inks. Meatloaf the piercer did some piercings for a friend, and he is also really good at what he does. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo.

Last year a friend got a tattoo for her birthday from Stevin by chance. We went to suicide kings to see a different artist, but he wasnt available, and thats when we met Stevin. So I knew when my birthday rolled around where to go for my birthday tattoo. This was my first big tattoo, and stevin was amazing and very patient thru the whole thing! He had to hand draw a lot of the work he did, and its awesome, I love it! Every one at the shop is super friendly and it has a really good atmosphere. We will be going here from now on!

This is the bicycle shop version of tattoo parlors. The artists are condescending and trashy, the work is substandard (at best). Its location in an affluent neighborhood doesnt reciprocate quality. Avoid this dumpster.
