Although there was a bit of a wait, the staff remained helpful, empathic, and, most of all, Dr. Tien was supportive and focused on the task at hand, as always.

I came in for a consultation for Pico Genesis for my Melasma. All my questions and concerns were answered. We didnt feel rushed at all which I appreciated. Afterwards, I decided to have my 1st treatment to see how my skin would react since I am very sensitive. So far its been 3 days since my 1st treatment and my skin feels okay. What I liked about the Pico treatment was Dr. Tien could adjust it and lower the intensity if I felt it was too uncomfortable. Overall, it wasnt too bad in pain. It felt a bit uncomfortable at first but tolerable. At the end I really enjoyed the cooling mask. Dr. Tien explained how to take care of my skin after the treatment and she was a pleasure to meet! Dr. Tien and all the staff were very friendly! My experience here was a great one! I am excited to come back for my future treatments. I highly recommend coming here ❤️.

Dr. Tien is great! All the office staff are so friendly and helpful and make you feel at ease. All my questions about tattoo removal were answered and my first procedure was so fast. Dr Tien and staff have been great - at both my initial consultation a few months ago, and when I came back for my first treatment today for eyebrow tattoo removal. Everyone is friendly, professional, and efficient. I never felt pressured to move forward at my consultation and they were kind when I stopped by without an appointment one day with a couple questions.For the tattoo removal - I recommend the numbing cream, which you need to arrive an hour early for. I feel it helped a lot since the process still hurt but was totally bearable with the numbing.

I have been driving from San Diego to Newhope on a monthly basis and planning to continue to do so for my laser tattoo removal on my chest, permanent eyebrows removal and melasma treatment. This is my second treatment. I am confident after my first because I didn’t experience any side effects. So therefore I am planning on getting the package deal. I love how the staff are so friendly. Lisa at front desk is professional! She helped me with my discounts and treatment plans to save me some bucks as a cash patient. As for Dr Tien she is amazing! She will answer all your questions and advised you what’s best! I also love how their time are so accurate where it’s quick, fast and easy! No waiting time. This is a luxury business. If you think the prices are too high, then you should be going somewhere else. Look at reviews from any other tattoo removal place and you will see why New Hope is a better choice. They are competent, professional, and their equipment is state of the art.

The staff at Newhope is always friendly. I go there for tattoo removals, and have a bit of a unique situation. They have been very considerate of the circumstances I find myself in, and have worked with me to come up with the best solution andprice point for my tattoo removal. This place charges way too much for tattoo removal! They charged me $650 for one quarter of a half sleeve, and I didnt see any results. I was under the impression that the money that I paid would cover more than one session, but they just told me that it was only for the one 20 minute session, and that they only guarantee their work after 12 sessions. So $7800 to remove one quarter of a half sleeve is a major rip-off! I am going elsewhere for my follow-up sessions.

I had a great experience here! Made an appointment online for the following week. All the staff were very nice. Sean was super helpful explaining the tattoo removal process and I ended up getting my first treatment the same day by Dr. Tien, who was also fantastic. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

Informative staff. Great intake and outtake procedures. Exactly how I wish I would’ve done laser tattoo removal years ago. Professional and easy to find. The main difference I saw was a very bright lit room to do the procedure. After more than 20 sessions at other spas, this was the only one that didn’t leave me in a dim lit room. It was refreshing.

I have been coming here for 6 treatments and have been seeing amazing results - am definitely coming here to continue the treatment as my initial tattoo was very dark. Came in for tattoo removal evaluation, and had my first session in the same day!After the intake paperwork, evaluation, and a quick class on the process from the Doctor himself, the technician offered topical lidocaine and ice therapy to help with the discomfort. The lasering itself lasted about 5 minutes, and they gave me very clear after care instructions and signs of infection to look out for.Overall, a very clean, safe, friendly, and efficient experience and I have my next appointment scheduled already!!P.S., Im pretty heavily tattooed and like to think Im tough, but it was QUITE uncomfortable! After I was done getting lasered, the tech recommended that I apply an ice pack during my drive to my next appointment and I am definitely going to do that.

I went in for a consultation yesterday and the Dr. Took his time answering all my questions and helping me understand the process. I truly appreciate all his time and professional advice. We also went over the price and I thought it were very fair and clear to understand. I feel confident in his work and cant wait to have my horrible microblading eyebrows removed. I went to this place to remove my tattoo and Im very happy with my experience . Staffs are very nice and willing to answer all your concerns . I have done 4 treatments at this skin care and I went to back today to continue as scheduled but I didnt need to pay this time because my treatment has been completed . At the beginning , the manager told me my tattoo only need 4 treatments and if it didnt remove completely yet then they still treat me but free . Im totally forgot about this great deal so I paid today but the front desk girl gave me back money . Im appreciate that they gave me back money . Im strongly recommend this place to everyone who wants to remove tattoo .

I just had my second tattoo removal session with Newhope Skincare, and I can’t wait for my next visit. I have nothing but positive things to say. Everyone is so nice there from the lobby to Dr. Tien. They took before and after pics to document my progress and its crazy how much my tattoo has lightened in 10 weeks. I’m far from done but the progress is very encouraging. I remember the first session hurt pretty bad. It was do-able since it’s so quick but it was definitely worse than getting a tattoo. This time around though, I must be getting used to it, because it didn’t hurt nearly as much even though the laser was set to a higher level. You don’t need to buy anything for aftercare because they provide a bandage there for the first couple days. I’ve been really busy lately but each appointment I’ve had at Newhope has been super quick. I was in and out of there in like 15 minutes each time. I can’t wait for my next session already.

I went in for a consultation and came out with with my first treatment on a tattoo removal. The process took about 2 minutes from the time I took my shirt off until the time I put my shirt back on. The actual laser process took like 30 seconds about a 2 1/2 inch tattoo of an unmentionable psychotic name. Easy and highly recommended. If you can tolerate a needle, you can tolerate a laser.

Came in for a consultation for the dark spot removal laser treatment. Ended up being a nice conversation. Liked how candid and helpful Dr Tien is about the process and outcome of the procedure. I was ready for the treatment that day but because I’m going to Oahu in 2 months, the Dr recommended I start at least 2weeks after my return.

What a great office!!! My mom is a first time patient and we loved the way we were treated. The doctor thoroughly explained and answered all of our questions about the eyebrow tattoo removal. He was very professional and friendly! The laser tattoo removal pain was a 10 (1-10) for my mom, but its because her pain tolerance is low.

My skin had severe pigmentation, but only after 2 treatments my skin improved significantly with fantastic results even though Im already 70 with not very good skin condition. Dr. Tien was awesome with professional skills and customer service. The staff there was very friendly and helpful, too. I greatly appreciate Dr. Tiens wholehearted help to treat my skin and I cannot thank her enough because skin is very important to aging women. This clinic is highly recommended and you sure will not regret trying out this place.

I liked the place very much, but the pricing was not fair, I only did a very small portion of my eyebrows tail but they said I have to pay for the full eyebrows so I paid $500 for 1/6 of the job.

Upon entering, my parents and I were greeted immediately by the front desk! The lady (I forgot to check for name) gave me a form and within only a few minutes, I was able to get a recommendation done! The assistant, I believe his name was Sean (...I’m terrible with names), and he gave me and my parents all the details of what was going to happen for my procedure (tattoo laser removal). After the consultation and pricing, we only waited about 5 minutes before going back in to get the procedure done!I was treated by Dr. Tien, who also prepared us with special goggles (as not to harm our eyes). The procedure took literally less than 5 minutes! There was minimal pain (I came in thinking that I might at least let out a few yelps) and was bandaged with medical-grade covering. The assistant then gave me a paper for post-procedure care and then we were free to go!Thanks for being so quick and concise!!

Yes I enjoyed my experience, I do feel that the doctor could’ve have spent a little more time talking to me, and I felt that she missed some major parts on my brows that needed laser removal.Lastly the pricing is steep, but overall pleased.

I have been seeing Dr Tein for at 2 yrs. She has set the rules and boundaries and I appreciate knowing that she cares so much about us.The staff get to prescriptions on time in other words they dont ignore the pharmacy sending refill requests like most doctors do.Getting an appointment is really easy. And it seems like I never ever ever had to wait in all the time Ive been seeing her.I would recommend Dr Tein even though I will have to share her with more customers.......

Came across this place off of someone’s instigram. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Made an appointment for a consultation to get a tattoo removed. Checked in and right away everyone was so down to earth and alive! Great customer service 👍🏼 Wasn’t planning on getting the procedure done the same day at all, but I did! Procedure itself took only 20 seconds. And I was in that room for maybe 5 mins max. From start to finish I was out of that office in under an hour! Highly highly recommend this place!

Sean and Dr. Tien was very nice and knowledgeable. Had my first Pico laser today and it stung just a little bit in certain sensitive areas, but the no down time was well worth it! I have 5 more sessions and cant wait to see results in a few months.

After what happened with Dr. Tattoff i was very skeptical and weary of going anywhere else to finish the removal process of my tattoos. But my tattoo artist Jill Sarratt recommended Newhope LSC and has even had a few removals done herself. Since Ive known Jill a long time, I trusted her judgement and finally went for my first consultation on Friday. The drs were empathetic to my previous experience with Dr. Tattoff and spent an hour with me going into detail about costs, sessions, post session care and healing times. They are genuine and care about their patients, utilize newer technology as well as detailed post session care to ensure your skin heals properly which includes your diet and how well you take care of your body. The Dr could tell i was still a bit uneasy and suggest i try one session same day at a discounted price and give it a couple months to heal and think about wether i want to continue and if so i had the options of buying a package deal or pay as i go. I could tell he really listened and cared about me as a person and not just another dollar sign. I would definitely recommend!

I searched for Pico lasers on yelp and found Newhope. It was super easy to sign up for a free consultation online. I went in for my consultation and had my first treatment in less than an hour. The staff was great, attentive, and friendly. I was so nervous, but Im so happy I pulled the trigger. The laser definitely hurts, but the procedure is so darn fast you hardly notice the pain. It literally takes seconds!!! I have my 2nd treatment booked and cant wait.

Dr Tien is very knowledgeable and caring when it comes to the process. Prices are very affordable, and results are great. Im a tattoo artist and Im on my 2nd session. the majority of the light stuff is gone, and the black areas are fading fast. I recommend people who come into my shop all the time when a cover up is not possible. Clean, friendly, effective, professional what else could you want. Making an appointment at New Hope with Dr.Tien was the Best decision ever!! I am following the steps and eating healthier foods and eating healthier portions, as well as drinking more water than I have ever attempted to drink. My skin looks INCREDIBLE! I have lost some weight and I feel more energized and healthy. People at work keep commenting on my skin as well. I had what I like to call maskne from wearing the covid masks too much and within about 10 days my skin is so clear. It is definitely the advice from Dr. Tien on living a healthier life that has resulted in the results I am experiencing. I highly recommend New Hope and Dr. Tien.

I am a tattoo artist. Only reason I give 3 stars is because of the high cost. Tattoo removal takes the same amount of time, NO MATTER THE SIZE 1-2 mins max under the laser. This being the case, each removal session is between 1-2 mins. Yet the price can vary from 100-700 dollars PER SESSION. To me this is just the laser people taking advantage. They don’t incur any more “work” due to a larger tattoo so why should I pay more? I got a discounted rate of 300 per session..no guarantee of removal or of how many sessions will be done. These machines are expensive they cost about 100 grand, but a burger place also spends over 100 grand for a decent kitchen to be built. So all business’ incurs cost but they don’t sell cheeseburgers for 600 bucks each.

Never thought I would pay a sweet woman like Dr Tien to torture me 😍 Had my 2nd session today and she cranked up the power on my laser tattoo removal. She is very sweet, explains everything she is doing and did not make me feel like I am just a $$$ to her. Hoping to see great fading with this 2nd session!

I found this place on google and went in for consultation which led me to getting my first treatment for dark spots. They convinced me by saying that the result will be permanent. I went back for a second session because I didn’t see any difference the first time around, but even the second session turned out to be a complete waste of money. At $300 per session, this place is a complete rip off. They try to convince you that it’ll take more sessions to see a difference only to take more money from you. Also they initially say the laser treatment will take 30 minutes, but in reality she only treated me for like 5 min both times I went in. Look elsewhere!

Dr Tien is an outstanding Dr. She is by far and away the best pain Dr I have ever had. Most pain Drs just shuffle you in and out and treat you like a number but not Dr Tien. She spends quality time with her patients and listens to what they have to say. If you are lucky enough to have her as your Dr, respect her and don’t treat her like she is stupid because she is smarter than most!

Its just simply not fair for you having to wait up to 8-10 weeks like everybody else. Inconceivable.I really hope Dr. Tien gets a chance to see this, and considers talking to the staff about courtesy and professionalism. As much as I liked Dr. Tien, I dont want to support a place that treats its customers with so much disrespect.

They DO NOT charge with sulta... the many in front are very friendly... and friendly... the doctors or sediga. They make you feel very comfortable..I liked it..I feel like I chose the best place...
