Uptown Tattoos & Piercing

After reaching a milestone in my life I rewarded myself with an Ashley piercing. A piercing in the middle of my bottom lip. I booked on Booksy on Friday night. I walked into a fully booked establishment , the smell of lingering smoke perfumed the place. Everyone dressed in black and rocker attire as I stood out in my pink flower dress. I knew this was the right place. I had to leave before my turn because of a work commitment. To my surprise the artist texted me apologizing for the delay, which wasn’t his fault. We chatted about it and agreed to come back Sunday. He was incredibly professional and respectful. The service is conducted in a private office like space, which is nice. We went over a few of my concerns. He was quick to put me at ease and offered solutions. The appointment took about 10 minutes. He talked me through the entire process and made it smooth. It did not hurt at all! I absolutely love my piercing and haven’t had any swelling or discomfort. Thank you for making this possible for me. I will definitely be back and recommending anyone who needs a piercing to him. Also they are reasonably priced to say the least! $70 includes jewelry.

Last minute my daughter wants to get a navel piercing. Googled tattoos near me and this one was the first that popped up. I called Uptown tattos and piercings, to see if we can do a walk-in . Walked in and was greeted fast by Elias. He was very professional , polite he explained every step to her on what he was doing. He also showed how she should care for her piercing at home. Thank you so much Elias.

Shorti is the best! She made us feel comfortable with the whole process. Shes professional and explains everything clearly, including pricing and jewelry. It was a great experience.

Place is clean and they have a huge team that specialize in different styles . Come check out the place for yourself . This place is located in the heart of Whittier with plenty of nearby business and parking

Don Lino , did a really bad job on my arm. Added an S where there wasnt supposed to be one. My arm got infected color did not stay and he kept saying he would fix it but keeps backing out. I have other tats and never had a problem like this.

Hello, Ive been going to Uptown Tattoo, some time now. Ive had four sessions with the most talented artisit. Don lino is top teir at everything he does. 💯💯💯 hands down, such a gentelman, cares about how you like your piece, placement, etc. Ive never seen such amazing art from ppl. I think lino is a gem in the tattoo world. Hands down so much talent. I love every piece I got from lino. Beautiful work inside and out. I always look forward, to coming in. Elias was very nice and was able to pierce my ears quickly with little pain. I’m very satisfied with the service and would recommend.

Be careful here, drove an hour and a half to my appointment with kats and he never showed up. Tried messaging and calling and never got a response back from him. Maybe you’ll get lucky as a walk in but definitely don’t make appointments here because they won’t be honored.

My friend and I decided to give this location a try , we were visiting . The artist who helped my friend did a great job. Mine was okay but I was satisfied enough with it. What was a surprise to us is the charge, $200 EACH meaning $400!!!! for two small tattoos. I was so upset but since it was all done, we had no choice to pay for it. First ask how much it will cost you because they will try to get money from you !!!!! I know those two tattoos are not 200!!!!

Shorty did an absolute good job on me today. I luv how she attended me, it was my first time ever getting a piercing and she really made me feel so comfortable to the point where I didn’t even feel the pain! 10/10 definitely will be coming back for more piercings (:

Decided to give this location a try. My husband got tattooed by Tyson. Apart from the tattoo having crooked lines and missing lots of detail, Tyson has been ignoring us. He told us to schedule an appointment two weeks after we first went, so he could finish the tattoo up. We have sent him multiple messages but he keeps ignoring us. BEWARE !!!!!

Was very disappointed. First red flag was when the guy told me to show up two hours before they were even open, I waited an extra hour and thirty minutes because he was out to lunch so I stayed. Second red flag was when this guy was literally getting lectured by his boss that this is the FIFTH TIME that he wasnt wearing a mask while attending clients that day. Third was when he dropped the freaking tattoo machine and dispute his boss hovering over him he still didnt finish all of my tattoo (and it wasnt even a difficult design). Andrew if youre reading this (which I doubt) you need to be retrained because dude you were terrible.

Dude my grandma and I got our matching tragus piercings and it didnt hurt one bit. Shorti knows what shes doing. She is legit the best body piercer Ive ever been to. Ill forsure be coming to her for more piercings in the future. She made me feel so comfortable its as if I already knew her. Shes beautiful, straight down to earth and her laugh is contagious. Shes a vibe forsure. If anyone wanted to get a piercing as of now or in the future it should deff be with shorti. 11/10 much love! 🖤

Don’t waste you’re time doing a tattoo with Winona Taylor she’s unresponsive she would set up a appointment date with time an she would have you confirm the email of you attending an she won’t show up to the time set she would text you telling you she won’t make it in to come back later which is so unprofessional for someone to have you confirm an appointment with time an have them not show up an telling you to reschedule for a different time when she should text you to cancelled waste of time unprofessional people…
