Donny is absolutely incredible. I have been waiting for YEARS to get my mermaid tattoo. I love all things mermaids. Everyone would always ask how it was I didn’t have a mermaid yet. It’s because I was afraid she wouldn’t come out exactly how I wanted. All I can say, is that Donny put his whole heart into my piece. I could not be happier. I’ve already gotten so many compliments. Donny was extremely kind, patient, and made sure I was absolutely happy with my stencil before beginning. Donny is a phenomenal artist. He has a life long client now. As a first-time customer, I can honestly say this is the best tattoo shop I’ve ever visited. The customer service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. Went for the first time this week as a walk in, staff was super nice, shop was neat and clean, the tattoo artist that attended me was super sweet and outgoing, made me feel comfortable and relaxed while doing my tattoo, Rose made my experience the best and definitely would come back again for more tattoos with her! she has a super light hand and is very talented, overall all the staff I came across was super chill, the vibes were definitely the best and can’t wait to come back again!

Ive finally found a tattoo shop i want to keep coming back to! The shop clean, love the color theme, super friendly staff and amazing tattoo artists! Came for Friday the 13th flash sale and got 2 awesome pieces! Im in love 😍

Had such a great experience. It was my first ever tattoo and I was super nervous due to fearing about the pain of getting a tattoo. Denise hopefully I spelled that right and got the right name but she was really sweet. She had a very light touch and made the whole experience enjoyable. I enjoyed it so much that I got to today.

ASK FOR Aiden!!!!!!Very professional. An amazing artist with a lot of talent. He is very light handed and shades amazing well. He had very sharp edges when he does his art. His tattoos are dope. Great prices and really good Costumer service. Most definitely will be coming back. I have a couple more things in mind to get blasted. I would 100% recommend him.

12/10 recommended this place! Such a clean and chill environment. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I was a walk in and did not wait long even though they were pretty busy! Auggie did one flash and one small personalized lettering piece on me and both turned out perfect. Didn’t hurt at all , he explained everything so I wasn’t surprised by anything. He didn’t mind moving the stencil for me as many times as I needed. He was awesome definitely hit him up!

I was tattooed by the owner ( @steveokills on instagram) and u couldn’t be happier! Solid line work and shading plus a great convo, definitely will be back and highly recommending anyone debating a tattoo to go in!!

Waited over an hour for a walk in piercing. I know with walk ins times vary and I’m usually okay with this but the woman who does the piercing was walking around with no urgency. Looking at her phone for majority of the time. Only two people got piercings before we decided to leave. Two in the span of an hour. She was even asked but a co worker how much longer and she continued to do nothing. Waste of time. Don’t get pierced here!

I really enjoyed the whole experience! It was amazing! Really good vibes from start to finish! My tattoo artist was Cass , her ig is xdotcas. She was real friendly, professional, and honestly I couldn’t feel her hand it was so light so it didn’t hurt at all! Will definitely be recommending and coming back ✊🏻🥹

Steven was an amazing artist and has the lightest hand I got my foot tattooed and those are painful but he was amazing all around. I am most definitely coming back and bring my man as well.

Where do I start? This is by far the most amicable tattoo shop Ive ever to... from the second you walk in you are greeted with the most attentive people... trust me when I say I been to tattoo shops where the atmosphere is so hostile and unwelcoming .. From the girls to the awesome personable owner who seems to genuinely care about his customers to the amazing artist this place is top notch!! My artist Mariano was amazing!!! He listened to me and was super patient. And my tattoo was done amazingly!! Drove almost an hour to get to them but then drive was absolutely worth it!!! Will definitely be recommending this shop to everyone I know! Ty sm! You guys rock!

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT COME HERE.The owners responses to these reviews will say enoughMy friend and I made the mistake of choosing this place for matching tats.This is definitely an apprentice level shop.We were given some girl with no experience . I thought the tattoo would get better or the girl would stop shaking …it got worse as we went along . I had to ask her to stop and I would go to someone else to fix what she did .I’m absolutely disgusted with the results and the fact that it’s operating . The girl was high , with extremely shakey hands, and could not follow a simple stencil. She didn’t wash her hands one time while we were there .We were there for 2.5 hours for 3 simple words. “No Matter What”The management and staff seemed to be offended when I was upset about the lines and quality . The owner even said “oh she didn’t tell you she was an apprentice?? My bad “I understand we are in a pandemic and people need jobs but not everyone should aloud to do tattoos let alone manage”””” , without being over seen by someone training them .I was going to pay half initially and then the second manager asked me to leave after , She told me she couldn’t respect the things I was saying about the quality of work and the shop“” .I wish I reacted the way more harshly I but I have something this shop does not . STANDARDS.Minus all the details about poor management skills , professionalism , and lack of experience ; Please anyone looking for a shop, PLEASE HEAD THE OTHER DIRECTION.Response : I never spoke about going with someone cheaper , I clearly said I would go to someone with EXPERIENCE because the 1st manager asked if I wanted someone else to fix it . Tattoo artist Mario is my guy! Been there twice and he did all 3 of my tattoos 2 tattoos tonight on a whim.Great work very professional and makes me keep wanting to come back for more!

Honestly? I have pretty bad anxiety, so walking into a place that has no windows, and youve never been made me super nervous, on top of having first tattoo nerves. They made me feel super at ease right away, gave me a little visual tour of the shop, and told me what to do when Ive made my decision. I ended up with an apprentice, but you wouldnt know it by his work. I couldnt be happier with this place, and their very talented staff.

Everyone is super friendly. Affordable prices. They have monthly specials on their instagram. Follow to not miss out. I had an embroidered tattoo done by xdotcat and I am in love. Look for her instagram as well

Discriminatory service. Refused service to my niece after making appointment and paying a small deposit. I asked if I could stay with her during her tattoo since she has a hearing disability. They said they have a no guest policy due covid. I explained she would have difficulty understanding him if he spoke to her because of the music. Apparently no exceptions. We said ok. Since the ‘artist’ Steven was not wearing a mask, I asked if he could just make sure to speak clearly so she could read his lips. He said, “No, thank you. I am good. You guys can go somewhere else.” and was already pulling out cash to refund the deposit. We were not trying to be difficult. He was unwilling to work with her. He opened the door, we left. I can’t believe they were just so unwilling to accommodate such a small request. Disturbing that someone wouldn’t take a few extra minutes to help a client who is deaf. Terribly unprofessional.

My tattoo artist was Steven. He did wonderful, clean line work, it came out amazing and he did it quickly. Will definitely be going back for more! Amazing prices for some astounding tattoos at this shop, highly recommend!

Believe the bad reviews, and see how they respond to the reviews as well. All feedback is good feedback even if it’s bad and most of it is in fact guests who have been disrespected and disregarded. Some people just don’t know how to take constructive criticism.Go to the shop at your own discretion.There are definitely some good artists there, others not so much.The workers like to work when the owner is around. When the owner is not around, they will 110% look at your flash tattoo for flash weeks and ignore them. They will come by. Make a face, then wait for someone else to take it. You will be there for an hour and a half and when you leave they won’t care because a lot of people come to this shop. They make enough not to care for the handful of people they did dirty when they’ve got plenty more to come.They act like it too.They’re often high and drinking on the job.No, they’re not on a break. Majority of the day is their break.No, they’re not sanitizing your tools. They’re gossiping in the staffs break room or outside for a smoke.You never know when you’ll get the short end of the stick with these people.It is by far the worst shop experience in comparison to the many others with a better atmosphere.However, there definitely are a few good apples who set up shop there and I recommend you try your best to weed out the bad ones and pick the best person to tattoo you.I will not be revisiting ( nobody cares )We’re aware,To read your response to my review if there is one. I came in during a flash sale on tattoos. So I ended up getting 4 in the same day. No appointment is needed. Walk-ins are welcomed. Luis was definitely a blast to talk to while he did my tattoos. Definitely a positive aura around the atmosphere

Such a great tattoo ship with great prices and beautiful work. I was tatted by Joshua ND he was talented and very friendly. The only thing thats a little rough is the parking, all the car shops take up all the parking in the lot so I would say be prepared for that

I got tattooed by amaya, although the tattoo actually hurt a bit for me she made sure to help me through it! Talking the whole time was very easy and loved laughing sharing stories with her! Definitely recommend amaya! (Photo shown after healing)

At the studio - Had an amazing experience here especially for our first time. The entire staff were very welcoming and fun to hangout with. The vibes were amazing. We felt super comfortable and movies are constantly played there so you can relax. You can really feel the dedication and work every artist has poured into the shop. The best experience I’ve ever had. I walked in for my first tattoo and was helped right away!! I was on a time crunch and Steven was very understandable and got me out within an hour. He told me each step while getting my tattoo done and was very nice. It was a good and friendly environment. I’m coming here for my next tattoos. I recommend coming to get tattoos here!!!

Ive been on a long journey to find a new tattoo shop, but not just any tattoo shop. I needed to find a shop that had good vibes and where I felt comfortable. I mean, you are going to be there for a few hours. Might as well enjoy the time that you are there. This is why Im thankful I found this shop. Steven and his crew were welcoming and so funny (to say the least). Good vibes all around. Went in on Monday afternoon, didnt wait long and was done in a few hours. I had such a great experience, I will be coming back for more.

Terrible service , unprofessional , hygiene is terrible. My tattoo got infected not even my home made tats got infected. And from what Im reading looks like couple people that got tats 2 yrs ago were also infected, you might want to look into this.** response to owner, if you go back two years ago between june and july you have few more customers that tattoos got infected. So you might want to look into that yourself

I drove an hour in traffic to this place after work, excited to get tattooed, just to end up disappointed and frustrated 4 hours later when I walked out without one. My name was written down as soon as I arrived and even got checked up on twice. Once was to get down my tattoo idea and location. It was pretty busy so I knew I had to wait a while before getting called by an artist to get started. But instead got ignored the rest of the night till almost midnight! At the end I was told someone wrote down their name but didnt call me. The whole time after they took down my tattoo idea I thought an artist was working on the stencil.They need to be more aware and attentive of their customers. Poor customer service.4 hours of my time wasted that I wont get back!

I was a walk in customer last week so I had to wait about an hour to be seen. Aaliyah did my tattoo and she was very sweet. The place looks clean, smells clean. I will definitely be going back.

My experience was fantastic, I was a walk-in. I was greeted by the owner Steve, really nice guy, I knew I wanted to look at artist work and he showed me a few Instagram profiles of artists that were going to be coming in, I ended up waiting for Benny. Unbelievably nice guy, very professional and put me at ease. I was getting side work done which is never fun but he talked me through it and let me know what was going on with the piece. It turned out gorgeous! Couldnt recommend him enough. Definitely going back to add to my side and see @TattooBenny_Rambo

I found out about WT through IG, and now this is the only shop I go to for my tattoos. I find other shops to be intimidating but I always feel comfortable here. There are a lot of female artists and apprentices around my age here, which is not common at other shops so it makes it feel like more of a safe space here. The artists do an awesome job here and they do their best to accommodate you. I haven’t gotten a tattoo done from Steven, the owner, but I’ve encountered him a couple times and he is still great as well. Thanks for all my new tattoos, WT!

I really wanted to get tattooed at this shop, but every time I dm the owner or the shop instagram page asking a simple yes or no question I’m told “Questions better answered in person. Come thru anytime after 11am and well hook it up. No set time for closing”. His exact words. That’s ridiculous. I’ve never had to actually go to the shop to ask a question. I asked for the flash tattoos are all placements accepted. LOL. So I won’t be going to get my art done at that shop. They don’t seem to post any pieces they do on Black people either. If they even tat Black people😂too many red flags.

I went there last night with an idea of a flower tattoo I wanted. First the employees there are super chill make you feel comfortable as soon as you get there and second my tattoo came out just as I was expecting. Devin was my artist and he definitely did an amazing job will be going back to him and recommending the shop for sure!

Ive been seeing Steve-O the owner of this shop for a few years and hes always been a great artist. Hes done multiple pieces for me and hell always put the time in to make sure it comes out great. The other artists are super chill and were great to be around. I loved this spot and they have so many artists with different styles you could find someone who would do a great job on whatever you want. Would recommend for tattoo newbies and vets.

This is the only place I’ve gone to get tattoos from and I get them from a lovely artist Des!! She has beautiful line work and has done all three of my tattoos. I adore the atmosphere of the shop and everyone is so kind and appreciative of each others work! I love Des SO MUCH please go support her :)))

Love this shop so much! Heard about it through my sister that found them on Instagram, now have two pieces from this shop and obsessed with both artists work on my body. Johnny was super patient and did amazing work on my dainty sternum piece. Dahna did a beautiful hummingbird on my arm and was an dope artists to talk to throughout the process. This place was packed! But now I know why. The artists are very kind and want the best for you and will work with you until the very end. My artist Helen was new to the team but left me with a great tattoo! Not to mention that it was not expensive at all! Loved the atmosphere and how hardworking they are. I recommend this place 100%

Took my boyfriend to get his first tattoo and I decided to get a small one myself. With the same tattoo artist definitely would recommend him @Chiko. He was very chill and respectful, explained the aftercare great and very cost effective. 😀 I have an appointment set with him for a spine tattoo.

Love this place! Steve and Charlie have done all my tattoos and I get compliments every day about them, I would never go anywhere else. They always exceed my expectations! I also helped them get all their licenses and so proud of how hard they work to keep the shop up and running :)

I went in to this tattoo shop for my first ever tattoo and got a small piece for a great price. I had an amazing experience with the artist chiko(@chiko_400) and had a killer tattoo by the end of it!. Would recommend coming back to the shop and the artist!

Loved both of my tattoos. Did a walk in and they were able to see us right away. Its hard to find artist that can do fine line work and I am IN LOVE with the outcome of both my tattoos. Price was reasonable as well.

I came here to get my first tattoo. i was a bit nervous & felt anxious but i was lucky enough to have an appointment with Cas. she made sure i was confortable which helped ease my anxiety. the process was quick & painful. i highly recommend setting an appointment with her! plus she’s easy to communicate with & she’s funny too. her instagram is ‘xdotcas’ if anyone ins interested in her work. the environment of the shop is amazing too! also there are many female artists who so welcoming & make you feel welcome.

It was my first time there and got tatted twice that same day I dont have nothing to say but its AWESOME everything ran smoothly and pixiie was incredible I definitely told my friends & family .

I went in last night because of their sale, I understood that I was going to be there for awhile no problem I didnt mind. But two hours in and no one had been seen everyone was just sitting in the waiting area and the artists were just chit chatting! Finally movement started happening but after 4 hours no one had bothered to ask to see my idea, sketched anything out, or even acknowledge my existence. THEN they had the nerve to say they didnt see my name on the sign in sheet they proceeded to show me the sheet and CLEARLY my name was right there next in line! It got to a point where it became extremely overwhelming and I refused to give business to these kids that were butchering this guy Steve’s shop

10/10!!! This is the only spot I’ll go to when I need a tattoo. They are very welcoming and friendly. Ask for BEN I promise you’ll love his work as much as I do.

This place only cares about money. They tattoo whatever THEY want and not what the paying customer wants. They might as well not even ask for a design because they wont use the one YOU want. They reuse designs, even if you show them your own. They are very rude to customers, they also abandon customers for minutes on end. Also, no one wears a mask.. Dont waste your money on this place. If you express your concern with them, theyll block you, and wont let you speak. Dont go here unless you want a painful, infected tattoo and unless you want to be scammed out of your hard earned money.

I’ve gone to this shop twice, I got basetats once and my most recent one with Steven! They were both really great artists and I felt really comfortable both times. The atmosphere is amazing and everyone is so friendly, definitely going to make this one of my favorite shops!!

STAY AWAY. Certainly not my proudest moment coming here to get my tattoo done, but I really question the hygiene practices at Whittier. I have gotten plenty of tattoos done in the past by other artists in studios, but this was the first time I got an infection in my LIFE from a tattoo. Itchiness is normal in the healing process, but my flesh started to swell significantly and I got so worried when the area started leaking pus. I had to go to a doctor to get antibiotics to treat the infection. My skin and tattoo look horrible and deformed, and I dont think I even want to be touched by any of the artists here for fear of making things worse. Ive never felt so unhappy about this in my life. Please reconsider where you want to get your tattoo. Its better to get it done safely than go through what I did.

Walked in for a simple tat I think they gave me the new girl because she asked me what I wanted drew it up then took off to lunch said nothing came back with food walked right past me again and said nothing. I thought that was kinda rude she could have at least communicated with us but her loss for being unprofessional we walked out Im sure she learned a lesson. Tattoo artists dont like when people play with their valuable time and neither do we especially when its us paying you. Stay humble. (Lol omg so professional. I see where they get it from. No Im upset your workers are unprofessional. Trust me Im glad I left too! Not investing in people like you. Ill go to the professionals. Everyone has to eat yes but communicate dont leave people sitting like time isnt valuable we have a life too.)

Johnny (@lawless_ink_) did 2 of my tattoos. He did an amazing job on a coverup. His lettering is great and so is his outlines. I highly recommend. Hes very patient and brought my vision to life.

Don’t even bother showing pictures of what you want. Charlie Vélez asked for a reference picture only to completely disregard and not even open the photo. On top of that, he completely copied a piece he had already done on someone else. When I spoke up about not liking the placement of the stencil, he acted as if I was being to controlling (keep in mind I already have had 11 other tattoos done by another artist). He was so fed up with me, he would leave me IN THE PROCESS OF DOING MY TATTOO in increments of 15-20 mins. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy

THE BEST TATTOO SHOP!! If youre looking for top quality ART this is the spot. Huge spot with alot of stations for availability convenience. Steveokillz has been blessing me with his incredible artwork forever and his vision for this spot is second to none. So many TVs and snacks for while you wait. Great Music, Sports, and a great mellow vibe to relax while you get your tattoo.

I was getting my windows tinted on my vehicle. I wandered next door to Whittier tattoo shop the atmosphere was cool the staff was great and friendly, Charlie was my tattoo artist very talented individual. I highly recommend this place. I will be returning.

Love the vibe at this shop. Everyone is super friendly and attentive. Has a very chill environment and noticed it was really clean as well which is always important. Definitely recommend and will be going back!

On Instagram they were advertising $50 flash tattoos, got there and waited an hour. Artist then tells us the tattoo wasn’t under the $50 even though it was advertised and tried charging us $160. There was also what seemed to be a stray wet dog walking in and around the shop, very unsanitary.

I got my first tattoo by gizmo, at first I was a bit nervous but her energy kind of zoned me into it and I didn’t even feel it. It was a dope experience and dope girl. Overall 10/10. Would recommend😤

My friend got her first tattoo here and the people were so judgmental and kept being shady towards her.. felt like they were body shaming her and when a skinner woman came in they WERE MUCH NICER to her than my friend. Definitely not coming back. Super unprofessional.

I’ve been going to Steveo for years he’s always professional, on time, and has the greatest attitude. My experience today is by far the best!!! The shop itself has a great atmosphere, staff is super friendly, and the shop itself ginormous! Long live Whittier tattoo!

Was a nice a nice environment but my tattoo came out very uneven. And I get an artist that was considered a vet! Not only that but I’m pretty sure he used the same needle from my other tattoo I had previously gotten two minutes prior

I recently went 2 days ago to get my second tattoo.It was first time coming here and I went as a walk-in and was attended right away. I love the vibe of the place very chill and calm. I will be coming again for my next tattoo. ❤️

1 star for unoriginality and creative plagiarism . A real tattoo artist would refuse to tattoo another’s artwork without permission. Unprofessional to say the least. Multiple people have confronted the owner on Instagram for stealing my friends original flash sheet (which she has kindly asked to take down since he gave her no credit) and he ends up blocking everyone one at a time. Honesty goes a long way..

I made an appointment and I tried getting a reach out to the tattoo artist… I had work and my artist never showed up when I made an appointment… highkey not professional what’s so ever, have communication skills better…

Ernie did a great job with my flower tattoo I wanted. He was very nice and professional. Everyone there was outstanding. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a tattoo!

I went to the whittier tattoo very nerous first time like every other person but I meet rene who gave lot of advice on the tattoo design and is very talented with his art. He has done all my tattoos and my boyfriend.

Have gotten tattooed by owner steveo serval times and each time they’ve came out better than I could’ve imagined 10/10 forsure!Would recommend checking this shop out ,everyone who works there is super helpful and has clean work!

If i could give 0 stars i would useless people they have working here waited 3 hours just to walk out without a tattoo, I recommend you go to Brown pride tattoo shop you’ll be in and out in less than a hour and good looking tattoo unlike here 👎🏻

Steven the owner of the tattoo shop did an excellent job on my tattoo he took his time and actually put detail on my butterflies and even gave me his own personal recommendations, honestly i couldn’t have been happier... also the vibe there is so chill everyone makes you feel so welcomed, i will definitely be coming back for more ink 💯

40 minutes. No line. No tattoo. Artist printed out a picture of a video instead of drawing a stencil. That was enough coupled with the over priced “deal” and locked door/blackout curtains.

All the workers there are cool people and I have my tattoo artist chiko he did my tattoos and they came out really good if your thinking bout getting a tattoo this place is the place to go

Unfortunately my friend recently got a small tattoo on her sideburn, in red ink- a couple days go by and she notices that the ink is literally coming off. Not your typical peeling... mind you, she is no stranger to tattoos or red ink tats and this has never happened to her before. She is fully aware of the proper after care after getting tatted.She reached out to hopefully correct the issue, because she did pay a good amount for the tat and the customer service was wild. So rude and and clearly not concerned that they left a client unsatisfied. Smh. Stay clear of this establishment.

We wait 3 hours just for a flash tattoo me and my friend and I know it can be busy but there was like 5 artists coming out and in not even tattooing and no one treated us with respect and I hate to be like this but this shop aint it we just gave up and left it wasnt even worth itThere was a guy with a camouflage back pack and he had a bottle of mouth wash and had liquor In it, everyone here drinks on the job, just check their instagramsI dodged a bad tattoo

Me & my best friend got tattoos here. They were very professional and even allowed my son to watch the process very kid friendly

It says that they do piercings, but Ive called and they informed me that they do not do piercings. They do have a very limited selection of jewelry.

I love the vibe in the shop every time I walk in everybody is so friendly not including the snacks that they offer to munch on while you wait it does get busy since it is a walk in Shop but they do everything they can to help you out highly recommend for a whole experience
