Great atmosphere, very nice tattoo artist. Came in a few weeks ago on a Sunday (walk in) and our artist was extremely accommodating. Line work on my tattoo was incredible, and healed very nicely. Would definitely go back if I get more tats.

Great place! Love both of my tattoos from Jon Larson and will be going back for more. Everyone is really nice and helpful. Love the atmosphere and feel really comfortable there 😄EDIT: I went back for more work from Jon! So happy with the outcome! Hes an amazing artist and such a nice guy. Theres a reason hes booked about 6 months in advance, because hes great!

Honestly my favorite tattoo studio in town. Have been coming here since 16— CJ did my very first tattoo, a little symbol, and Ive been hooked ever since. Every artist here is incredibly talented, and I especially adore Amalia. Shes so sweet, her artwork is fantastic, and just a pleasure to work with.Will always come here for new ink :-)

(Izzie) Ive been getting tattooed by John for over a year now and he consistently crushes it. The whole shop is a cool vibe everyones very friendly its in a cool area people are always asking about my tattoos this is where I tell them I go.

Great atmosphere & some of the most talented artist around. I wont go anywhere else, unless its to his other shop up in the Houghton Lake area Screaming Eagle Tattoo. Thank you Bill for sharing your great talent with the world.

This is my favorite tattoo studio! Every artist is incredible, efficient and very professional. I will always come here. Ive gotten many tattoos done here, but my hands are my most recent! Even with me almost crying from the pain, they were so sweet lol

Dillon and Amalia are 2 artists I’ve had at this spot, both were excellent in their own ways! I have gotten 4 tattoos here and would definitely go back for more.

This is my second tattoo at Depot Town & Ill come back here again and again. The place is low key and great, which helps my nerves. Everyone seems super friendly and very nice. I had CJ who did an amazing job, and my brother had Kyle who was awesome and helpful during his first tattoo. They do some great work and its a great place. Im sure Ill be back soon for another.

Tattoo artists are really friendly & fun to chat with. All are Very talented. Amalia did a great job on my tattoo. Planning on going back soon!

After following Jon on Instagram for over 3 years, I finally reached out and Im so glad I did! Made a 3 hour drive (twice) to complete this masterpiece and couldnt be happier. The best tattoo artist Ive ever had the pleasure of working with!

Originally my two friends and I had an appointment on a Saturday, but one of us got sick and they let us transfer our security deposit to another artist a few weeks later. We went in today and the facility is very clean and all the artists were so nice. Ours, Amalia, was patient with us, it was mine and one others first tattoo so naturally we had many questions. She was great and did a wonderful job, I love my tattoo. 100% recommend.

Everyone here is top-notch! The staff is very friendly and doesnt have the ego trip issues youd expect considering the high quality of the work. Super clean facility, warm and enviting. Youll be made to feel like a regular regarless how much time you have had in the chair. Jasper is a nut case...but the best kind of nut case IMHO ;) Jon Larson is a genuine master of the craft. Amalia is such a talented artist! This is by far my favorite art piece on my body now. It has been a few months now since I got it done but it still looks fresh and the colors are so vibrant. It almost looks like a sticker. Thank you!!

Had an amazing experience for my first tattoo here. Dillion did an amazing job and was very kind and helpful. Would heavily recommend.

Disappointing experience. Booked with a female artist and put down several deposits for her work. At more than a month out from my appointment, I had to cancel for medical reasons and she refused to refund my almost $200 in booking fees. She admitted to being loose about her explanation of the booking policy but still refused to give me my money back. I called the shop and was promised a call back from a manager but never received one. BAD business practices. Still no refund and she has engaged in some pretty rude messages to me and called me the thief. Seriously look elsewhere. There are plenty of shops that do not require a deposit and have amazing artists. Unless you want to give your money away for nothing, STAY AWAY from this joke of a shop.

Bill did my tattoo and loved it. Very professional and helpful through the process. Was nervous at first but he was really cool and I am very happy with how it has healed. Definitely recommend this shop and am looking forward to getting my next tattoo here

The studio itself was very professional. However, our particular artist was the most unfriendly person. Joe never cracked a smile and was very unaccomodating.I was tattooing with my mom as gift and he was a downer. He sucked all the joy out of an experience I wanted to be a fun and memorable one with my mom on Mother’s Day. Also, I was charged $80 for a LETTER!!!!! One simple letter!

The first time I visited I received great service and the pricing was reasonable my friend and I got tattoos and each tattoo was $60 each and both had a decent amount of shading. The last time I came in my friend and I wanted to add to our tattoos. Nothing big and it was a simple quote in black ink. It took about 30 minutes for both of us and my friend was charged WAY more than we shouldve been. May I note that no one quoted us a price before hand the second time we assumed it wasnt gonna be a crazy amount like it was. Probably wont be taking my business back there again after the last expensive. Ive gone to other shops and received the same quality of work for a way cheaper price.

Let me just start with saying I got my first tattoo done here yesterday and I could not be more pleased. The building is extremely clean and well kept, the staff is extremely friendly. My friend came with me and got an additional tattoo, and the quality of these tattoos are incredible, she even said that the artist CJ has been the best tattoo artist shes had. This being my first tattoo naturally I was concerned with how painful it would be but thanks to CJ I barely felt a thing and made my first experience a great one! And I will definitely be going back for another tattoo.

Very clean, open floor plan shop with lots of high quality flash displayed. Got another excellent tattoo from Amalia Aveni, and saw two other highly talented artists working on different styles. Seems to be a good place to go for anything you might want done

I have 5 tattoos from Depot Town Tattoo, I absolutely love all of them. Loved their Tats for Tots charity drive. This shop was so cool that they allowed me to film my EMU senior project in the store.

I came in for a pre-designed conch shell tattoo by Joe and by god did he blow it out of the water, both literally and physically. He absolutely killed it with the shading and it is exactly what I wanted. Im definitely coming back for another tatt by Joe. Great shop, great choice of music, friendly staff. Cant wait to be graced by Joes needle again, I await patiently. 6/5

Subpar work and really bad customer service from JOE, rushed the drawing, didnt communicate or offer any reassurance, had a very heavy hand. Couldnt get simple questions answer like: Did you tattoo over the bone? You would know if it happened It was my first tattoo- i really didnt know. Happy with tat so far will go somewhere else to complete and get rest of tats.

For my first tattoo I was a little nervous, but they made me feel right at home there. I mean throughout the process CJ was very patient with me and he nailed the final drawing. I will definitely come back here for the rest of my tattoos.

Got my first tattoo here and they did a grea5 job! They were really helpful and welcoming with me and my friend with it being a first time experience. Based off what Ive heard and experienced, I would consider this to be the best tattoo place in the a2/ypsi area.

Im so discussed with the way they do business here. Do not make an appt in advance and place deposit they will call you 3 days before hand to tell you the date and time slot that you paid for because that is what works for you THE PAYING CUSTOMER is no longer going to work because the artist has decided they dont want to work that day of the week anymore. They will not give you your deposit back even tho they are the one who broke the deal they are nonrefundable and you will have choose a different time that works for THEM not the you the paying customer. Also the original appt for 6 people but knocked down to just one last week and they could not tell me when I call that my appt was no longer any good. What would they have done if it was still for 6 people? Also they have had reference material for a different piece for months and have not even started it even tho they told me it would be done in 2 weeks. This is not how you do business. Which is shame because I did like the work done here. Once I have my tattoo done 2 weeks later then when I paid for it will be my last time here. To bad tho they would have made great money off my back piece but could not even start the design? Really???

Got my first tattoo here by Mandee and I’ll definitely be back. Everyone was friendly and I felt my artist did a great job communicating a process that was new to me.

I came here a few time to get a small face tattoo fixed and Amelia was kind enough to not only fix the mistake another artist from a different shop made but gave me a few free touch ups afterwards. Thank u!

If you want a tattoo done right I suggest you give this place a try. Not only is the staff super friendly and knowledgeable but the artwork speaks for itself. I ended up a walk in with 2 tats and my sister got one. Our artists were CJ and Luke. Very clean environment as well.

Walk in Wednesday is great. Fast accommodation and good quality work. Theyre nice people. Ill return for another one soon

A certain artist made a very rude and unnecessary comment to my friend. although my tattoo turned out good, i never want to go back. i rather just go somewhere else.

Extremely flexible in terms of availably and pricing. This is definitely my go to spot. The artists do wonderful work and are always happy to collaborate until you find the perfect tattoo.

This is a great friendly place to get a tattoo. I have gotten 2 tattoos done recently by Rick and he is great! I will continue to go this this shop for my tattoo needs for sure.

Primo work! I had some work done, my husband did too, and I watched several others get inked while I was there by several artists. All the work I saw was double plus good.

I have been getting an arm sleeve from Bill for the last few months and it has been nothing but a pleasant and fantastic experience. My go-to place for tattoos in Ypsilanti.

The shop has a great atmosphere, is clean and every one of the artists does a great job. Ill be getting tattooed here for awhile.
