I brought my 7 year old in to Ambers shop to get her ears pierced as a birthday gift. Shes an excellent piercer! She made sure my daughter was comfortable and prepared each step of the way. The smile on my daughters face afterwards was priceless and totally worth it. Not a single tear shed! (:Amber is sweet, professional, and her shop is really cool. Were looking forward to going back in the future and I would recommend The Piercing Queen.

Making the appt online was super easy. She arrived on time. She was fast! I got my nose pierced and i was amazed at how quickly it was done. She was very information. I texted her a couple days later to ask a couple questions and she responded pretty fast. I had a wonderful experience and will be back for the other side soon.

I just got my snake bites this Monday, and I love them. She did such an amazing job and I barely felt any pain, my pain tolerance is super low but it was a solid 3.5/10 on the pain scale. Super professional and clean!

I came into the shop and it was beautiful inside and out! The owner was so sweet loved her! Gave me a shirt to bring back home to ND. I will be visiting again!

Best experience Ive had. Second piercing but my first from her. Her shop is beautiful and everything is for purchase. She had a warm Welcoming spirit. I call her Queen cause thats just what she is and Im glad I found her. My piercing for my lip went well and Im going back for already four more, just glad I found her and not to mention reasonable prices.

I was in and out so quick! I had a bad experience with the last person that peirced me and one of my snake bites got infected horribly because of it. Amber was able to fix the issue even with scar tissue and I felt barely anything. I will be telling everyone to go to her. Taking my daughter in soon to get her ears done. Absolutely love her!

Very nice and relatively professional. A little bit different than other piercing experiences I’ve had— I did not see an autoclave or sterilizing equipment and I honestly do not remember if my jewelry came out of sterile packaging... Amber washed her hands and wore gloves while piercing me. My “rook” piercing is placed too far back, more toward the center of my ear rather than close to my head where it’s supposed to be and it’s more diagonal than vertical. It’s a pretty thickly done piercing so it’ll take longer to heal but I’m more than likely going to keep it if I can. I believe the daith piercing is placed okay but it’s tucked in there and a little difficult to clean. My ear filled with blood and I couldn’t hear the whole drive home, lol. I’ve been told new daith piercings heal better with a ring, not a curved barbell due to risk of snagging and aggravation which can prolong healing. I’m hoping to come back in 12 weeks to have it swapped for a ring. I was not able to choose my jewelry and I was not marked with a pen to approve placement. Amber uses implant grade surgical steel which is fine and safe, but I prefer titanium due to the purity of the metal and hypoallergenic nature. She was gentle with me, conversative and kind. It didn’t really hurt much and she was quick and dexterous to get the jewelry in, I’m just left feeling like maybe we could have taken some time to ensure proper placement.Edit: I am an adult and a seasoned piercing recipient and 100% could have communicated my needs and expectations better and advocated for myself if I was at all uncomfortable during the process. If you are not an adult or experienced, please learn what you should be looking for or asking for before you go!

I took my daughter to get her first ever piercing for her 16th birthday. She enjoyed the experience and found the piercing queen to be comforting and very professional. She was quick but very thorough and clean. She would definitely be the only one we would go back to.

I came in today to get two eyebrow piercings. Out of all the piercing shops I have been to I’ve never had someone be so helpful, considerate and willing to listen to what I want in a piercing placement. She took the time to measure and look at the placement to make sure it came out perfect this really shows she cares. On top of all that she has the best affordable prices I’ve seen around that comes with the great treatment. I will definitely be coming back to her!

I got my double nose piercings and snake bites done all in the same day about a year ago I forgot to mention how wonderful Amber was! She was kind professional and I never had to go get them fixed or had any issues with infection they were perfectly straight and placed. She was so understanding when I was late and even offered a discount because I got so many done at once it was quick and as painless as it could be and overall a fantastic experience will be returning when I find another piercing I want. Recommend 11/10

Amber is hands down amazing at her job! I have gone to her three times and each time was great. The last two times I had three piercings done at once and there has been no issues during or with aftercare. Her setup is very clean in the room and in compliance. She repierced one tragus that had closed and it was the least painful and so much quicker than when it was done by someone else a few years prior. She even offered to switch out my other tragus jewelry so they would match. And she is an amazing person in general and made me feel at ease.

I got my breast augmentation done a year ago and had some sensitivity… I was very scared to get my nipples pierced; the piercing Queen made sure to make me comfortable and was quick! I had been contemplating getting a smiley done for months. Its not super common, so I was hesitant to go anywhere. I was booking my hair appointment and happened to see that my salon had a piercing specialist in their group of extended services. I messaged Amber and we arranged for me to come over after my hair appointment. She was super fast to reply, upfront on pricing, made sure I was a good candidate and didnt just do it for the money, and her space was private, very clean and welcoming. Did I mention she, herself, was CLEAN? Not dirty or sloppy looking. She explained everything well and conversation was super easy. My piercing looks so good! She was quick and gentle. I will always recommend her and will go back for myself for whatever I do next. Great job by Amber!!

My daughter was a little nervous and Amber made her feel very comfortable.The whole process was quick and easy and everything is clean and sterile. Amber is forever the best and I of course still stand by everything I said and HIGHLY recommend her.Came in to get a daith piercing for migraines. First, I made an appt but I finished my errands quite early and decided to walk in and see if she could see me. Without hesitation she told me absolutely and got to cleaning the piercing area (everything was very clean and sanitized). She is so kind and comforting which definitely eased my nerves. I have 15 Piercings already but never one done by a needle. It definitely didnt feel great to be stabbed in the ear but it wasnt any where near as bad as I thought it would be plus Amber does it so quickly and concisely that any pain or discomfort ends damn near before it begins. Amber is professional, kind, knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to get stabbed. I hope to go back soon for some more holes.

This girl is amazing and and done a few piercings on me she has the best jewelry that goes in and her prices are decent she also is super nice and professional! I had decided I wanted a new helix piercing from my sister for Christmas. After having a helix on my right side earlier in the year done by a different piercer in Chico. I decided while I was home in yuba city from Chico State that I’d go to Amber to get my left helix done and for her to help me fix my right one that was pierced with a hoop instead of a stud. Amber is so sweet and helpful! I’d definitely go again! She’s the only piercer I’ve had that is quick, knows what they are doing and makes you feel comfortable!

Took my daughter to get pierced for the first time. Amber was gentle and explained everything as she was doing it. She made it a very calm relaxing experience for my daughter. She did 3 helix piercings and they look beautiful. Very clean, professional, knowledgeable, and also great pricing!! I definetely recommend her. We drove 40 minutes to go to her shop rather than going to several closer shops. Definetely worth the drive even if you arent already in the Yuba City/Marysville area.

Took my brother to get his ears pierced for his birthday. As a protective older sister, I really appreciated the gentleness and attention to detail demonstrated the whole time we were there. My brothers been wanting this for so long and I loved how easy it was to get it done for him and that the experience was so calming and quick! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a piercer. Her shop itself is such a vibe, though I know its not everyones cup of tea. The only thing was I did pay more than I thought I would, but that was on me for not calling ahead. Good quality comes at a price and it was well worth it to see the baby of the family happy on his special day. Will be coming back for my future piercing needs.

Since my 30th birthday was during lockdown, once things were lifted, I decided to get my nose repierced. I was nervous, as my original piercing was done when I was 13, with an earring. 😬I have anxiety. Needles are not my friend. But Amber, she had something about her that had me extremely comfortable. About 9 months ago I came here to get my nose pierced, it was a really good experience. It was an open, uncluttered and clean area. So naturally I thought of her to get my kids ears pierced.August 6, 2021, I came in with a friend to get our daughters ears pierced and I was surprised to see the place had drastically changed. It was not exactly kid friendly. This was a complete 180 from my last experience, she appeared to be tired or possibly hung over and our appointment, which she confirmed, clearly indicated that 3 younger children and one adult were coming in for ear piercing. Only after leaving did I realize that she had closed early the day before to celebrate a birthday. I do not like leaving negative reviews but this was kind of disappointing and a waste of everyone’s time, as none of us got our ears pierced.When I asked about the price, I was surprised to find out it was $80, for standard ear piercing. That’s not including a tip or cleaning solution. Every other shop was 1/2 that price. I guess I should have called to check the pricing first, that was my fault.

I had been wanting to get my nose re-pierced for awhile & as I was arriving for my hair appointment I noticed her car with the piercing Queen sticker on her window, after my hair appointment I walked into her shop asked about price and appointments, to my surprise she said I can get you in right now !! I got two cartilage piercings & it was the most painful thing i have experienced, & i have plenty of piercings/tattoos. i had blood running down the back of my neck & i have never been a bleeder before. the piercings ended up being crooked. i paid a lot for piercings i ended up having to take out due to her piercing skills.i went back a second time & gave her a second chance. i wanted a second nose piercing. she pierced with the L shaped jewelry & it ended up rejecting. i went to another shop & was told that the nose should not be pierced with an L shaped stud but rather a corkscrew, which she didn’t even have in stock. 0/10 would not recommend

A month later and my peircing has a keloid. I cleaned it and didn’t touch it. I made sure to keep it clean and not bump it and yet this still happens. My friend got one too and the exact same thing happened. Guys don’t waste your time getting one from her, she doesn’t know how to pierce. When she originally went to put the needle through it didn’t work. She kept trying to force it through and I bled everywhere. The second time it worked.
