Grey is awesome! I got my helix done here by Grey a month ago and it was a great experience, so I came back to get my second lobes done by them :) They talked me through every step of the piercing(s) as they did them and it really helped me to stay calm and comfortable. The shop is super clean too and everyone else is really friendly! Really great, reputable shop!

I was a little nervous about going to a new place, but any nerves I had disappeared as soon as I walked into the shop. I was greeted right away and Stephanie was so kind in helping me pick out jewelry for my nose piercing. Everyone I encountered was so friendly, so welcoming...I knew I had picked the right place for my piercing. Then I met Kelly, who did my piercing. She was amazing! Warm and friendly, she explained everything that was happening and made me feel calm and comfortable. I love my nose piercing! Kelly did a phenomenal job and I couldnt be happier. I would recommend Good Life to everyone I know and I cant wait to return for my downsizing.

Won’t go anywhere else for piercings! The ENTIRE staff is always so bubbly and wonderful to be around. Piercers are always willing to answer questions before and after the piercing and talk you through the procedure before and during. Not to mention how great their work is, all my piercings have been placed beautifully. They were awesome when I got my septum done, and they were awesome yesterday for my snake bites, and I’m only going to assume they’ll continue to be awesome in the future. Keep up the good work!

I loved Kelly Quinn! She was so sweet and very professional. She explained everything she was doing and was going to do. When I want to get another piercing, or jewelry exchange,Im definitely going back to Kelly. Everyone at Good Life was nice and the place was spotless. The jewelry was so pretty and of high quality. The wonderful services and jewelry is worth every penny you pay. I was so nervous and this place and everyone in it had the most welcoming vibe. Im glad I drove 45 minutes from Cleveland and got my piercing here and will be returning!

This shop is amazing! I heard great things about Good Life so I drove an hour to go get pierced there. They were so kind and helpful. I scheduled 3 ear piercings and a septum. I didnt really know what I wanted as far as jewelry or placement on my ear. Ezra was patient and super helpful & knowledgeable with the jewelry and ideas. Marissa was a great piercer and helpful with placement of the jewelry I picked out. She provided thorough aftercare instructions and a way to get in touch with her directly if needed. I loved my experience and the results! The shop is clean and professional. They have a gorgeous selection of fine jewelry. Best piercing experience Ive had. Highly recommend!

The customer service here is IMMACULATE!!!! I loved every minute spent here. Stephanie was so great at welcoming, and being patient with us… explaining and answering all the questions we had about the jewelry my sister and I wanted. Even if she wasn’t the one doing the piercing, she took her time to explain the healing process. She was fun too. lol.Kelly on the other hand was a SWEETHEART! She did my nose piercing and did a fantastic job! My piercing faintly hurt for only a day and it felt great. Very patient and soft spoken, took her time to explain the healing process again. I really enjoyed my experience. The environment as you can see in the pictures I took is very clean and beautiful, they wipe off and sanitize the piercing room after each appointment. Good life, you guys rock. 20/10 would recommend!!!

My 6 yo daughter got her ears pierced here and we cant recommend it enough. They were so helpful and knowledgeable in the process of making this decision and if she was ready. They had adorable and safe earrings for her to choose from (she loved the rainbow flowers!) and then some really cute prizes to choose from at the end. Her piercer (Brynn) even asked her what her favorite music was to play in the room during the piercing! I am so impressed with how above and beyond they go to make this a comfortable experience for their customers, and even kids! We cant wait to go back for our next daughters ear piercing.

I was lucky enough to be able to get my Daith and Helix pierced by Kelly today and it was the most wonderful experience ever! I had been waiting for this appointment for so long and it finally happened! When I arrived at the shop, I was immediately greeted by kindness and excitement. I checked in and had my jewelry consult with Caelan (I hope I spelled that right!!) and I felt so comfortable and confident about what I was doing. He answered all of my mom’s questions and was extremely helpful. He helped me make decisions that stayed in my price range but also got me to how I wanted to look. When I got to meet Kelly it was amazing! She immediately made me feel heard and truly helped me achieve what I wanted. I had had a few piercings done that I was not confident with from different artists (at another place) and she completely helped me to feel 1000% confident about my new piercings. We got to talk a little bit about our interests and it was overall an amazing experience. I can’t wait to go back to get more piercings done by her!!

My daughter and I went here for piercings after several friends recommended Good Life. Although its a bit of a drive from my house, my friends told me it would be worth it, and it was. The shop is so clean and sanitary. Brooke checked us in and she was super friendly and helpful. We booked our appointments with Kelly Quinn and she was AWESOME! We had never had piercings by a needle so we were a little nervous but she made the process so easy that we barely felt it. She has such a friendly bubbly personality and talks to you the whole time so you arent focused on the pinch. My daughter and I just wanted very basic earrings because we already have earrings we wanted to put in once things are healed. I wish they had a bigger selection of basic earrings, but the ones we got are still cute. Otherwise, they have a great selection of jewelry if you are looking to purchase something you will wear for a long time. Go here, they are great!

My piercing appointment with Kelly Quinn was amazing! She is so knowledgeable, bright and bubbly. We were unable to do the original piercing I came in for, Kelly fully explained why it wouldnt be wise to do the naval piercing at that time. We spoke about other piercings I had wanted and decided on a double piercing with chain on my upper ear and a stacked piercing in between two previous piercings on each side of my lobes. They look adorable and I am so happy! I went in to the appointment not able to get what I scheduled but left the appointment feeling like I got exactly what I wanted. All the staff is so friendly and helpful. There are SO many jewelry selections, it is great. Everything is sterile, everyone uses gloves and the facility felt very clean. I drove an hour and a half to get to this facility and will continue to do so for all of my piercing needs. Best piercing shop I have ever been to.

Absolute 5-star experience here! Everyone was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Heather clearly explained everything throughout the process and was very professional and thorough. She also kept things light and made the whole experience fun. The studio is open, very clean and has a great assortment of jewelry.This is the kind of place where even if you dont want a piercing, I would want to talk you into it just so you dont miss out on the great time. Always a great experience here! Just went back for the fourth time. I live 45 minutes away and Id never even consider another shop. The environment is chill, clean, professional. The staff is charismatic, honest, and thorough. Dont expect some rock and roll music playing tough guy vibe, because this is not that!

I went in to have a jewelry change where I had not been wearing my top cartilage piercing. I thought I was going to have to wait to repierce my 2nd lobe holes but Heather checked and was able to open them back up. So, now I have reclaimed 3 piercings that had lost and I am very happy I came to Good Life. It was clean and professional and Heather was so experienced she knew when I would feel pain/warmth/anxiety and was reassuring. She put me at ease and now I am thinking about what to have done next.

Marissa and Ezra were super welcoming and made sure I was comfortable with my selections and with the process. Marissa was amazing and answered all of my questions. She was also very patient with me as I had had a horrible experience the first time I got my ears pierced (not at Good Life) and was a bit nervous. I highly recommend. The place was very clean and very nice overall. I will definitely be going back to get the rest of my piercings done here.

Amazing place with amazing people. Brynn placed glass retainers in my high nostril piercings so I could have an MRI. And the next day changed them back to my normal metal jewelry. Scheduling was easy, knowledgeable employees, and a beautiful selection of jewelry. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Grey was awesome! They explained the process very clearly and professionally and made me feel comfortable. Regarding the check-in process and selecting your jewelry, the whole process was very organized and the jewelry consultants/front end workers were very kind as well.

I came and had my dermal jewelry changed by Peaches n dreams. i told her i was looking to replace my bridge jewelry. she gave me her card and told me if I found anything. I liked to email her and she could recommend good quality products that were similar or tell me if what Ive chosen was good quality. I emailed her photos Of what i liked and Never received a response. I forwarded the message just in case she never saw it And still did not receive a response. definitely frustrating.

My wife and I took our 5-year old for her first ear piercing today, and everyone on staff was kind, professional, and friendly, speaking both to my child and to us throughout the process, making sure we all understood. Brynn was awesome, they made us all feel comfortable but also let my child make decisions about the piercing each step of the way. We came away so pleased and would absolutely go back again!

I had a fabulous experience here on Sunday. The jewelry stylist, Stephanie, well as Marissa were extremely professional as well as kind. It was my first time stopping in but wont be my last. When it comes to body modifications you for sure get what you pay for and the price here is worth it!

This place it top notch! I took my 7yo for her first ear piercings, and they were perfect. They were thoughtful, helpful, excited to talk to her, and all-around amazing!They are appointment only, which was a little cumbersome if you want to book for more than one person at the same time. They are also expensive but for the service and quality it is worth it. Spotlessly clean and answered all our questions. I only wish they were where my mom took me 30 years ago to get pierced!

I had an appointment to get my jewelry changed and it was so quick and easy! they helped me find what i wanted and answered any questions i had. everyone there was so nice! they changed it for me there to make sure it was the right fit and exactly what i wanted. will definitely be coming back for anything in the future and highly recommend to anyone looking for a piercing or just shopping around for something new

Kelly was so very patient with my 6 year old daughter. She encouraged her, distracted her, waited for her permission. She was incredible. Everyone we spoke with was helpful and kind. The facility was pristine. We could not have asked for a better experience!

I cannot recommend Good Life and Brynn especially enough!!!!!!I had my septum done in September by another shop and was having all sorts of pain, bleeding, and general issues with it. Brynn worked closely with me to recommend next steps and in getting it repierced in the right place and oh my god, they are absolutely magical! I had little to no pain, the placement is perfect, and they were so friendly and knowledgeable. I really loved everyones dedication to finding me the right jewelry due to my severe metal allergies and how genial and kind everyone at Good Life was.The absolute best experience ever, hands down.

Incredible!! i had a lot of work that needed to be done (third lobe piercing, several piercing changes, abandoning piercing, etc) and they were all so unbelievably helpful and kind and understanding i am still shocked by the amazing service. i worked with Grey specifically, and i am sure they are all amazing, i will definitely be specifically asking for Grey again the next time i go in. please go here, you will not be disappointed.

Went to this place abt 2 weeks ago and have been back several times, they changed my daughters cartlidge, pierced myself and my friends nose (Kelly), changed out my forward helix and friends nose jewlery(Brynn) and have given me advice and care instructions abt a rook piercing I got elsewhere in June. The staff, Stephanie specifically I have worked w at the counter are all extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable. At this point w my frequent visits I am beginning to feel part of the goodlife family😁. Highly recommend!

Brought my young daughter here for her first ear piercing. They came highly recommended from a few tattoo artists I trust and cleanliness in this situation along with a professional environment was important to me. They were great , clean, friendly, so supportive to her as she got nervous. The work was impeccable with a good sterile place and high quality equipment and jewelry and the piercer was top notch to my daughter.

If you’re looking for a great place to get high quality jewelry and piercing service this is by far the best. Kelly has done an amazing job on helping me curate an ear piercing and a piercing that was done at another shop that needed corrected. The staff are amazing and have even helped me when it came to purchasing custom pieces for my collection. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

The ONLY place I have ever gone and will ever go to get anything pierced. Everyone is top notch and like my second family. Kelly has done 99% of all my piercings and I just adore her. I went here because I was looking for a special piece to replace what I had in a current piercing. Their selectionis amazing and they work with you to find what you need in your price range. Everybody there is very friendly and welcoming. Their prices are good and they let you know upfront so there are no surprises. Highly recommend.

I got both sides of my nose done by Brynn and they did an AMAZING job, when I needed a lil breather before the they peirced my 2nd side, they had no problem!! They were also SUPER patient!The environment was so COMFORTING and CALM! Everyone was so nice and respectful! Taylor greeted me when I came in and I felt less nervous! Staff was incredibly helpful with choosing out a piercing. My wife was there about 6 years ago and has been obsessed since. The piercer explained the aftercare process very well. The showroom is very clean and open. It gave a high-end modern fashion aesthetic. 10/10

After discussing the issues I was having determining the difference between a post earring and a pin earring and being at first disappointed from the response I was getting, there was a full recovery of my experience based upon dealing with the new girl ( forgive me for forgetting your name) that has only been there a for a couple weeks but was VERY kind and helpful and the piercer Kelly Quinn to make the process easy and respectful.

I got my daith pierced here a couple weeks ago and debated on posting a review but I guess I’m still bothered by my experience. I’m giving 3 stars because my piercing is healing correctly so far however im not new to piercings I’ve gone to a few different places so I know what procedures there usually are. First of all I felt like the place was welcoming and clean however when I was taken back to get pierced the door was left completely open for everyone to see me getting pierced which made me feel uncomfortable. There was also an issue where the instrument used to transfer the jewelry from the needle got lost in my piercing hole and I felt my piecer was panicking which made me panic a bit. And with the door being open it just made the experience worse for me. I also was never given any written instructions for after care which I feel like is standard in majority of piercing places or tattoo shops.

SO SO grateful to have found Good Life. Literally everyone you interact with inside the shop is warm, friendly, and so freaking cool. They have an incredible selection of pieces in a wide variety of price ranges. As one of the only shops that sells BVLA jewelry near Cleveland (I drive an hour both ways to get there -- thats how worth it this place is), I will always come back for more! Love love love Good Life and I cant recommend them more highly. Their expertise is top notch, but its the experience overall that keeps me coming back! THANK YOU!

The vibes here are always immaculate. I’ve come here for jewelry swaps, new piercings, downsizings. Heather recently did my philtrum and was truly incredible. So calming and empathetic to the brief pain of a mouth piercing! Couldn’t recommend more.

My niece came in for a nose piercing. The sterilizations and process of the piercing was handled professionally. But, bedside manner was noticeably rude. My niece was scared and yah she wasn’t exactly the best client, she shook and cried. But as a professional you should be helpful, comforting and supportive of your client. Marissa rolled her eyes, snapped her gloves off, said she wasn’t gonna finish it because my niece wouldn’t stay still. Then when we said thank you and have a good day, she gave us a half grin and simply said nothing. We won’t be returning. I would not recommend taking anyone under the age of 18 there because they’re not going to comfort you in any way. I appreciate your time.

Kelly has done my last three piercings and I just absolutely adore her. She’s so sweet, down to earth and does a phenomenal job. I had no pain, minimal swelling and my piercings are healing so well. They have SO MUCH cute jewelry it’s hard to not want to go broke buying so many things. They have the best fine jewelry in the Akron/Cleveland area and are worth a drive to, for sure.

I called to set up an appointment to get my helix pierced and whoever I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and was able to answer my questions. When I went in for my piercing, the whole process was very quick which was great. Heather did my piercing and was amazing, explaining the process very well. Overall, she just had a great personality that made my experience even better. I will definitely be going back for a piercing change and check-up as they suggest.

I was looking for a local piercing shop to become my regular shop for jewelry and procedures. Because Im new in town.I went in today simply looking for a replacement ball for my septum ring. Upon entering the shop it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. Clean, organized, and nice.The representative that helped me told me it was $50 for replacement jewelry & that she could only sell me a set ( being the two balls and the u ring.She talked down to me in a way stating whatever she sales is what she sales me talking about diameter which Im not even sure why she said that because Im well aware and informed that cant return body jewelery for OBVIOUS reasons.I appericated the caution that was took, putting my jewelery in a bag and having me disinfect my Hands but she never explained or made me comfortable while doing so. It made me feel like she thought I was dirty because she was giving me this ew face the whole time.After leaving I had a friend call in. They were informed the replacement jewelery as a set is $50 but they offer replacement balls for 15$.So now Im purely upset with the customer service I received. I believe some other employees heard the interaction and if they did in did sell a replacement ball for 15 why didnt someone speak up? It was overall a disappointing experience and a waste of time.The only good thing I can take away is the employee how wished us a good day on are way out.$15 is a little overkill for a septum ball but I was looking for a local shop to support so I would have gladly paid it. The search continues onward.

I got my daith pierced by brynn I had an amazing experience all the way around ! Everything was explained to me step by step , the shop was impeccably clean and I usually am very sensitive to piercings but so far I haven’t had any issues , I don’t even have any irritation and any questions I had were all answered I will definitely be returning back 😊

I went about a month ago with my best friend to get my helix pierced and we got Marissa. My best friend got both sides of her nose done and they look so good. Now whenever I go back I only want Marissa. I was so nervous about and even cried a little before even getting pierced but she was so nice and great at calming me down. She pierced my ear so well, I even came back to get my conch done by her. She is the sweetest and I love going to good life. I would definitely recommend.

Literally such a good experience, came in for a change but was told i couldn’t because its newer which totally understandable, got two piercings instead! i walked in at 2:50 came out at 3:15! They were so excited for me and so so kind!!!

Had my first nostril piercing here a few weeks ago and was/am still so impressed! They were so kind and professional, I felt very comfortable. The piercing itself is beautiful and was very thoroughly explained. The prices were incredibly fair considering the quality of both the jewel itself and the service. Even after having a cold a week after getting it done, I feel completely comfortable with my piercing and informed on how to handle it. I highly recommend good life whether you’re from the area or not, it’s worth the trip and worth the tip. Love it and will definitely go back!

Would have given 5 stars but I got a dermal me and a friend on the same day and i understand they are a temporary piercing but both of ours have already fallen out and we are only half way through the healing process and for as much as I paid I think it should have lasted longer than 3 months like I said they didnt even finish healing. Mine fell out while I was asleep.

Professional and clean! 10 years ago I got a piercing from here and remembered how great my experience was then, so I returned. My experience was just as wonderful if not better. Everyone is welcoming and ensures a peaceful environment. A little more pricey than other piercing shops(just as a heads up), however I believe you pay for what you get, just like with tattoos. I will gladly pay a little extra to receive the great experience and care as I do at this shop! Highly recommend for all your piercing needs.

I just went here for my first piercing and I will likely only be going here from now on. Everyone in the shop was wonderful and made me feel so comfortable. The shop was nice and clean and there was so much stunning jewelry to choose from. I was personally pierced by Brynn and they were such a joy to work with.

These girls are AMAZING. Little more exp than some other places but very high quality jewelry and so professional and clean. Not your avg piercing shop. And they really REALLY made my daughter feel right at home. The kind of place you want to bring your kid or teen for their piercings. They even offered to take pics for me and my daughter and got so excited for and with her. Explained everything to her and even gave a little pamphlet highlighting stuff to know. Will def go again

This was my first time going to Good Life, and I wont go anywhere else for another piercing. Super professional staff in a very clean environment. The person behind the counter was very good at explaining the process and pricing of the different jewelry. The person who pierced my nose, Brynn, was amazing. They were super nice and sweet, and explained the process from piercing to aftercare in detail. My friend and I were nervous, but they were joking and talking to us like we were good friends, and that made the whole process so much easier. An amazing experience from the minute we walked in the door, Im going to reccomend this place to anyone looking for a piercing; as well as go back myself if I feel brave enough to do another one!

Good Life was AMAZING! I’m not new to piercings at all, but I had never been to Good Life before. I went to another shop last week looking for a Medusa, and they told me my anatomy didn’t really suit it. I went to Good Life for a second opinion, and they’d told me the same thing (which I really appreciate the honesty). So we’d decided to try a vertical philtrum instead that would still give me the same look I was going for. Kelly was amazing, best piercer I’ve ever had by far. She was very thorough in the placement to give me the exact look I wanted and also just really taking her time to make sure everything was centered correctly. She was very sweet and went very in depth over aftercare and everything. I’ll definitely be back to the shop, and Kelly, for any future piercings!

My best friend and I came here in July to get piercings together as this shop was highly recommended by another friend. We arrived about 5-10 minutes prior to our appointment time and were asked to wait as they were finishing up with other clients. We waited nearly an hour to be taken back to a room for our piercings and spent nearly a total of 2.5 hours there. walk ins that came in after us were leaving before we were. The piercer that did our piercings had to keep going in and out of the room because he kept forgetting things. After our piercings were done he told us that he is from New Jersey and got into Ohio at 3 am, and then proceeded to tell us that he distorted the needles that he did our piercings with. This did not sit right with myself or my friend and everything that either of us have read has said this should never be done. One of my piercings has had to be removed already because it would not heal properly. To top it off when the appointments were scheduled we inquired about pricing, and then called once more prior to our appointment to ensure correct pricing and we’re charged more than either prices we were told over the phone. We just got the basic jewelry so there was no up charge. Aside from the friendly lady who greeted us when we walked in it was a terrible experience. How could they and why would they trust someone who doesn’t work there to pierce their clients? Especially without informing them. We trusted this shop and were horribly let down.

This was a very clean and welcoming piercing studio. From the moment I walked in I was welcomed and walked through the entire process of selecting jewelry, sterilization, and piercing. Kelly performed my piercing and made sure I had no questions and was comfortable during the entire process. She explained the aftercare and made sure I knew what to do before I left. I absolutely recommend them and if I ever need anything else pierced I will be back!

I had my septum pierced by Kelly and she did a great job. I was her first customer in their new spot located a few feet from their old spot. I had an amazing experience at this super clean, super friendly shop on Saturday! I came in with a friend to get a simple lobe piercing. After we checked in, Brooke helped me find a beautiful and on-budget piece from the shops huge selection of studs. I cannot say enough about their jewelry case - theres something for every style, from tiny opal flowers to itty bitty switchblades and coffins.Once I had picked out my jewelry, Brooke took my friend and I back to one of the piercing suites to meet our piercer, Brynn. They helped me find the right placement, walked me through exactly what they would be doing and did a fast and flawless job. Both Brooke and Brynn are so easy to talk to, and the vibe in the shop is immaculate. I will definitely be coming back!

Just recently got a piercing done at Good Life by Heather! I absolutely cannot sing enough praise to this shop for being so clean and professional and just an awesome group of people! For those who say theyre pricey, I thought the same until i actually went and it was so worth the extra money for the best people around and the highest quality jewelry to get pierced by! NEVER going anywhere else again! Heather was such a cool person and she made me feel so comfortable and talked me through everything with all the patience. 100/10 recommend her!!!

I was super excited to come to this shop and looking forward to being able to see the jewelry that they had. While I had a great experience with the piercer who downsized my piercing the experience that I had with the front desk staff was a different matter. The person at the front was friendly but did not listen to what I wanted when suggesting jewelry and repeatedly showed me things I said I did not want. I also felt like she was up-selling the entire time and like she was annoyed with me for not wanting to spend $100-200 for a pair of very small earrings to pierce my ears and did not show me anything under$115. This was the prince just for the earrings and did not include the piercing fees. I did not feel welcome from the front desk staff and will not be going back or recommend to others unless they can bypass the front desk staff. The piercing staff was absolutely fabulous though. It’s unfortunate that the front desk made me feel so uncomfortable that I cannot recommend this establishment to others as those doing the piercings do an amazing job and are considerate.

I absolutely love GoodLife. Brynn has peircied my helix and septum and did a fanomanal job the pricing is very fair for the high quality jewelry and speaking of jewelry its beautiful they have such a wide selection and it looks so amazing. I love GoodLife piercings are what makes me happy with my body and GoodLife really just feels like another home, everyone is so nice and speaking from experience their peircers are amazing its a great experience for kids and adults, my grandma even got piercings there 😂

Update: After having my new stud for a short period of time, it has started to rub against the inside of my nose and cause constant pain and irritation. The discs on the posts they use are absurdly big to be used for a nose piercing. I will NEVER go here again, pain, wasted time, and wasted money is what you get when you go here.Came for a new nose stud, install was simple and quick and the staff was very pleasant! Definitely going back in the future.

I got my nose pierced here originally in 2020 (shoutout Kelly!! I had ZERO issues with healing because of her skill and her instructions for aftercare), and went in today to get new jewelry. This place is clean. I mean, really clean, and I loved that. The girls were nice and informative. They are on the high side of things for me and my daughter to get nose pierced it was about 210. Also, the ring they placed you have to come back to have removed, and then they downsize you. Im assuming you have to pay for that as well. Overall we both like our new piercing.

I cannot tell you how amazing my experience was here!! I came with a friend to get our noses pierced, I got my septum done by Kelly. The whole process was fast and I didnt feel uncomfortable for a single second. All of the staff, including Kelly, made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. It feels very welcoming and homey. I recently moved from Ohio to Minnesota and still made the decision to wait until I visited to have my piercings done because they were so highly recommended. Yes, it’s definitely a little expensive, but I can say you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. It’s extremely great quality. Their staff is well-trained and knowledgeable. Took my 14 year old there for a nose piercing. They were super friendly and knowledgeable. Will be going there for any future needs!

I hate that I had this experience. My friend spoke so highly of this place. My friend and myself went to get a piercing together. We had an appointment and arrived about 5 minutes before our scheduled time. Walked in and was met by the nicest people. Picked out the jewelry and gave ID etc. then we’re told to wait. Ok, no big deal. We waited 45 minutes past our scheduled time. We were then told by the piercer he had arrived the day before from New Jersey. He left 3 times to “get things he forgot” and then after the piercing informed us he had altered the needle. That seemed so odd to me. We went to pay and had been quoted one price 2 times perviously when we called but then were charged more(we got the basic jewelry so no upgrade charges). We left. I felt weird about the “smashing” of the open end of the needle so I did some research and couldn’t find anywhere that said that was ok. My friend asked and they said they do that sometimes. Not sure if that’s ok (deep dove and couldn’t find anything saying it was ok) or if they were covering for that guy. Aside from the friendly lady when we walked in it was a horrible experience and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Too many great things to say about this shop. It was clean, well-staffed, and welcoming. The environment was free from any intimidation. My piercer was Heather. She was so encouraging and comforting through the whole process. Caelan took me through all of the jewelry and obviously enjoys curating unique and balanced looks with piercings. They were transparent about pricing and took me through everything before I finalized my decision. My piercings have healed beautifully thus far. I couldnt be happier with my experience here.

The lady on the phone said no problem, and no, we dont need to reschedule. Hit the highway in akron where the construction has 2 narrow lanes. One was blocked by an accident. Go figure. No one knows how to merge. So they call us to confirm we are on the way. I tell her we are. We just got off the highway. She says ok no problem, we just wanted to make sure. We get in 7 minutes later.We walk on super excited. The girl at the counter, zero smile. I say hi, this is my daughter here for our appointment. She again no emotion tells us we have to reschedule when I asked her in the 1st phone call telling her I was late. Then she even called 7 minutes prior to me getting there . Didnt mention we would have to reschedule... WHY. Why didnt you mention it on the phone? So I could prepare my daughter. Ok, whatever, maybe we will come back.. We decided to look at the jewelry for next time we reschedule. My husband went to show my daughter the tray of earrings without knowing they arent secured great and snatches them, and no nice tone at all tells us. Just tell us nicely. Please. She was not pleasant..We left confused as to why she didnt mention it on the phone, why she was so rude and emotionless.We drove 35 minutes because of good reviews, only to have a bad experience.Yes, I was late for our appointment. Yes, they have every right to cancel. There is nothing wrong there, but please communicate that when you talk to me 7 minutes before I get there or the other phone call. I did my communication and due diligence, and they dropped the ball on their communication. The consumer service, vibe, and respect are much lacking.Dont worry, good life, we wont be back. I hate to leave a negative review on a small business, but your employee earned it.*Update*- The owner was kind enough to reach out and apologize on behalf of her employee and the experience I had. I do believe that customer service is #1, and she does as well. She was really kind and welcoming and explained this is now how her business is run. I appreciate her reaching out and talking with me. Jewelry is quality here and my piercer Heather was awesome in detailed explanation of how things are done and proper aftercare. All the staff here are very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. I just left there with my 8 year old daughter who got her ears pierced. Could not be happier with the service we received. From the moment we walked in they were friendly, professional, and focused on her and making the experience great for her. My daughter felt at ease and she absolutely loves her new earrings. You get what you pay for and even though the price was a little more, it was clear that you are paying for a true quality service.

I had my nose pierced by Jeremiah almost ten years ago, and a daith piercing by Heather yesterday; my sister also comes here for all her piercings and has never had a bad thing to say. I had an amazing experience both times, everything is clean, the staff are all knowledgeable and so friendly; they explain the jewelry sterilization process in depth if youre buying a piece from the display. As others have mentioned, sure, it may be a little pricey, but for services like those offered by Good Life I would absolutely rather pay a bit more and know Im being taken care of by a well trained pro. The pricing is communicated to you up front when you book the appointment and gone over again once youve picked your jewelry. I hope theyre around for a long time to come, their professionalism and passion for their work is evident!

Took my daughter to get her belly button done for her 15TH birthday & I highly HIGHLY recommend. From the vibes to the Knowledge/cleanliness etc, 10/10 will be back & do not plan on going else where for piercings. It’s been a few days & I rate healing already a 10/10.

I had my ears tapered here due to my ear piercings having shrunk over time. Today we took our daughter to get her double foward helix pierced. The service as usual was outstanding! The workers were outstanding. From the day I made my daughters appointment(Ezra booked us) to the piercing. I have the same piercing and the beautiful desk lady (I believe Stephanie) helped me look at new earrings and discussed which would look best for my ear. My Wife and I went here to get multiple piercing done. We were greeted right away, did all the necessary paperwork, picked out the jewelry, and got taken to the room right after. My Wife got a step by step of how the piercing would be done, all the care instructions, and got very detailed information of how everything was going to go. Piercings were a breeze and have been healing as they should. This is hands down, the best place to get any piercing 🙌. Heather was the piercer and is amazing!!! I think everyone should go here! Great prices, fast, easy, no worries, very respectful, and youre in the best hands anywhere around here!!!

1/18/22 Update - My overall rating of this place had dropped significantly due to two separate experiences that have gone poorly. Scheduling headaches, being bumped behind other customers, no concern or urgency towards the problem Im having with my ear... I feel like theyre not interested in helping me which is really frustrating. Its been multiple employees too.----------------------------------------Ive gone here twice for different piercings and this is by far the best piercing shop Ive ever been to! Cleanliness is a top priority for them and Ive always had a positive experience with their friendly and knowledgeable staff.A nice place like this does come with a higher price tag but in my experience its worth it.

The woman who pierced my daughters ears was so professional, yet kind and patient with my daughter. My daughter wanted her ears pierced badly but is terrified of needles. I commend the piercer for how she walked my daughter through each step, gave her the time she needed, and helped ground her when she got worked up. I highly recommend them.

Got my nipples pierced here while on vacation only to have them get embedded. went to another shop when I got home and they said “these bars are way too short, that’s why you’re having issues. Where did you get this done?? Anyone who knows anything about piercing would know to pierce you with a longer bar”. I paid wayyyyy to much for my piercings to be having these issues with them 🙃

I was so nervous to get my nipples done but everyone at Good Life was welcoming and friendly! Such a great environment! My piercer, Heather, walked me through everything and made sure I was okay throughout the whole process. It is a bit more money than the other shops I looked at but it was well worth it! I will absolutely be back!

I went to Good Life today to get my earlobes pierced for the first time with my mom and sister. Kelly and Caelan were so nice and professional, Kelly calmed me down when I got a little nervous. Everyone there was so nice and answered all of my questions thoroughly and honestly. I love my piercings and will be going back there for all my piercing needs. It is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for, which is professional work and amazing quality.

Brought my daughter to get her ears pierced, and to get my nose and helix done at the same time. I contacted Brynn ahead of time as my daughter has some anxiety. Brynn made sure to schedule extra time and when we arrived had a small stuffed animal to help her get through. Even when my daughter decided not to go ahead, Brynn expressed support for whatever decision my daughter made with no hint of pressure and expressed shed be there if she ever changed her mind. I loved the easy-going yet professional vibe and kindness from Brynn and all of the staff. Thank you for being so understanding and supportive! When it came to my piercings, Brynn was helpful and excellent and even talked my daughter through my piercing so she wouldnt be worried for me.

Wow! By far one of the best experiences of my life! Shoutout to Beautiful Stephanie who was extremely patient, very kind, down to earth and so helpful! First time experience was much better than expected! I was so nervous and anxious but also excited and not one person put me down nor made fun of me but actually was so warm and welcoming instead! Also, shout out to gorgeous Brynn for also being so pleasant, understanding and kind to work with! Best, well-rounded staff I have ever encountered! So professional and I was blown away by the amazing choices of jewelry!!! Will be back a 2nd and 3rd and probably 4th or more time. :D

My mom took me to Good Life for my first piercing when I was 15 and I haven’t been to another piercing studio since. I have had all my piercings done here, and every time I leave I am so happy and eager to come back. We brought my sister here for her first piercing yesterday, and they made her experience great. She gets very anxious and she was so happy with how comfortable the staff made her feel. Thanks for everything you guys do!

I went in to get my helix pierced. The shop was very clean and the staff so friendly. They took time to help me select the perfect piece, and didnt rush me at all. Heather was my piercer, by request since she had put in my huggies a few months back. Heather was wonderful putting me at ease, explaining exactly what she was going to do, and making sure the experience was top notch. Ill definitely go back for all of my piercing needs!

My daughter and I traveled from Shaker Hts (Cleveland) to Akron to get our respective piercings (septum & labret) and words cannot express just how much we love and adore this group. The tremendous care and professionalism we received was topped by the most amazing kindness and fun we’ve ever experienced. They made us feel so comfortable with the process and, too, just by being such amazing souls. The piercing studio was gorgeous and immaculate and the team took every precaution to sanitize before and after our visit and to wear masks and gloves for everyone’s safety. We could have not asked for a more wonderful experience. We have adopted Jeremiah, Stephanie, Brynn and Kelly into our family and our hearts. My daughter had her nose pierced on 01.15.22. I was unsure as to what to expect. I was very impressed with the entire staff and procedure. The facility has high quality jewelry that fits a wide range of budgets. The staff are very knowledgeable and can answer a wide variety of questions. Highly impressed. I havent had a piercing since I was little, and I called to get information about a nose hoop piercing. I spoke with Kelly who was very informative! She recommended starting with a stud, and explained everything very well that it gave me a lot of confidence and comfort to make an appt here.Very clean place and easy to view the jewelry. A nice young man helped picked out a good size in an opal and white gold stud, and then Kelly did the piercing. She was so kind and has such a gentle soul! And I love my piercing!! I have very sensitive skin and all has been great!Yes, as some reviews say it may be a little pricey, but I was very confident with their services! And i would rather pay a little more knowing im getting great service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a piercing!! Awesome service!!! Will be returning for more pieces in the future!

I went here for help changing out my 6 month old nose piercing and they were awesome. I had ordered a hoop online that was too big and changing it myself left my nose not feeling great. Their advice and help getting it changed already has my nose in better shape two days later. They also went super above and beyond giving me advice with what to do with the jewelry I ordered online. I will 100% come back here for any future piercings.

Highly, highly recommend. My 5 year old has been asking for her ears pierced. I was looking for a place that did just piercings and a friend recommended Good Life. From the phone conversation with Jeremiah to discuss the appointment to walking out of the store, it was a great experience. The shop is very clean and professionally run. Everyone we had contact with was kind and set my daughter at ease. Kelly did a wonderful jobwith the acutal piercing. Everything was very sterile and my daughter felt comfortable and calm the whole time. I, too, got a piercing while we were there and had a great experience as well.Id highly recommend going here, especially if youre looking for a place to take your child. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place.My mother was the one who got me hip. I came in at 7pm for an appointment for a septum & right nostril piercing. I was given many options on jewelry, EVERYONE was incredibly nice and easy to talk to. My piercings were easy & painless. I left with plenty of aftercare knowledge and I’m so happy with the whole look. I can’t wait to come back!

This place is amazing. I just got my septum pierced yesterday and everyone there was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. The employees provide a very calm and welcoming atmosphere and Jeremiah did an amazing job at my piercing! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get any kind of piercing done. Awesome staff, awesome jewelry, awesome prices, and did I mention awesome staff?? Honestly the coolest people. Explained everything to me before and after my piercing, and I wasn’t even there 30 minuets which surprised me because they had quite a few people coming in as soon as they opened. Stephanie did an awesome job of explaining everything to me and Heather had me in and out for my piercing in 10 minutes. They’re also a very clean/sterile place. They make sure your jewelry is sterile before it even leaves the package. Heather also eased my nerves a lot by talking me through everything before/as she did it which I really appreciate and a lot of other people won’t do. Awesome job guys! Can’t wait until my nose heals and I can come back and switch out my jewelry! Would highly recommend to anyone looking into getting any type of piercing done.

As someone who has never gotten anything but her earlobes pierced I was apprehensive of what to expect when I went to Good Life with my sister. I was so pleasantly surprised when we walked into such a friendly and clean establishment. Max helped and inspired us with ideas and pieces of jewelry that we could get. When we finally chose our pieces, they explained the procedure and how they sanitize their equipment and answered any questions we had. So incredibly polite and accommodating to our requests! Heather was absolutely wonderful and made getting our beautiful piercings almost painless! We cannot wait to come back and if anyone has any hesitation about coming here, don’t! I cannot recommend GoodLife enough!! I had a piercing done at a DIFFERENT place and I was in pain. I came to GoodLife for a jewelry change and from the moment I walked in I felt like I had been there before! I was greeted by Caelan who was so friendly and knowledgeable. He helped decide what the best jewelry would be for me and worked with my budget. I didn’t feel rushed picking out what I wanted and he made sure to go into detail about everything! For my jewelry change I had Kelly who was super sweet and is very good at what she does! She pierced my moms ears and everything is going good! The place is clean and everyone is friendly. Kelly pierced my nipples and she was an ANGEL. The placement is great, the jewelry is the appropriate size and the selection was great! I was a little woozy after my piercing and Kelly very kindly got me some juice and HELD MY LEGS FOR ME until I felt better. I cannot say good enough things about my experience.

I recently moved to the area from Chicago and was really bummed to leave my long time piercers. I wasnt sure how to find a great shop in the Cleveland area and finally thought to look at the APP website and was surprised to find the closest shop was in Akron. I am so glad I did my research. My experience at Good Life was outstanding. The shop is clean and inviting and everyone there was incredibly kind and helpful. I took a long time picking out my jewelry and never felt rushed. I also went in with an idea and while they would have happily done it, they took the time to really understand what I was looking for and suggest something a little different that better suited my goals and anatomy. Rob was awesome to work with and did an amazing job. Even though Heather wasnt the one piercing me she took the time to hang out just because I enjoyed having someone to chat with while getting pierced. I also really appreciated their thoroughness regarding care instructions. I cant recommend Rob and Good Life highly enough.

Kelly pierced my Nostril, and matched it to the existing piercing I had on the other nostril perfectly! They are all so sweet from the phone call to set up the appointment, the counter while picking jewelry (Caelen is an absolute dream to work with while picking jewelry!) down to the actual piercing procedure and steps. Very calm environment and people I feel I can trust and refer friends and family of all ages and backgrounds to this establishment for all their body modification needs and desires!
