Knuckle Up Ink Tattoos

I got my nipples pierced, and its been about two weeks. I dont have any infections. Scott was very sanitary with the needles. It hurt, but it wasnt as bad as I expected and really didnt hurt after it was over immediately or later. I think its possible most of the pain was from the alcohol on the needles, but I prefer that to infections. I really like how they look on me. Im quite happy.

I decided to get my first tattoos there and was impressed by Emilys expertise as a tattoo artist. I got a tattoo dedicated in my father’s honor for his sacrifice to this country in the United States Special Forces. I also got 2 butterflies tattoos. I highly recommend Knuckle Up for those looking for a professional and welcoming tattoo experience.

Sam was an awesome artist and was patient with me when I was having a hard time during my wrist tattoo. The flash tattoo choices were all amazing! picture looks a little dry because I hadnt put lotion on for the day. Sam worked really well with me and made me as comfortable as possible

I just had work done by Amber and I couldnt be happier. I looked for a year for an artist I felt comfortable doing this piece for me. It is in remembrance of my father who meant the world to me. She knocked it out of the park and I cant thank her enough. I recommend her to anyone looking for great line work and an eye for all the little details. Thank you Amber.

I called about walk in service for a nose piercing and when I arrived everything was prepped for me. The owner Scott did my piercing and he did an amazing job. While getting my piercing I asked about a small tattoo which he was also able to fit in right after my piercing and that also turned out great! Definitely going back, highly recommended. My boyfriend and I called last minute for tattoos and they were able to get us in no problem! The owner, Scott did both of ours. Not only were the tattoos everything we both wanted, but getting them done was an experience that him and I will remember for a life time. We felt like we were best friends with all of the artists as soon as we walked in. They were crazy, fun, and hilarious. I was laughing the entire time and will definitely be coming back. First time here and it’s awesome. Had the pleasure to get my ink from Jeremy great guy. Crew is definitely up to par with the owner Scott. He did a good job with the crew he has now. Awesome, layback environment and seems to make you the customer the priority. Clean and professional but not so uptight that you feel like YOU ARE the weird one with your twisted self. Clean and great prices. Got my nostril pierced by an apprentice and it went really well. Was made to feel super comfortable and Scott (I believe that was his name) was very personable and offered some good serious advice to Josh (apprentice). Would definitely go back.

I had 2 tattoos done today by Amber. All the artists & apprentice checked on us throughout the session to make sure we were both good. 7 hours of tattooing and its the best work Ive ever had done. Very happy! Amber is incredibly talented. She worked patiently for about 6 hours on a trash polka tattoo. Im so glad that I did my research and decided to work with her. Went here about a month ago to get a matching tattoo with my mom and sister and Scott was super patient resizing and placing the stencil. He’s super cool and personable.Today I went in to have him help take out my nose piercing (and he wasn’t even the one the pierced it) and while trying to put my new piece of jewelry in he offered to just put it one of his without charge. We ended up getting my own piece in. I love Scott and am gonna come to him for EVERYTHING from now on. 100000000/10

Went in for a neck piece that was all font and came out very happy. Marcia did an amazing job on everything! Her new tat gun reduced the pain quite a bit and her steady hand did the rest. The line work is beautiful, I dare you to scroll in and find a mistake. Also very chill and knowledgeable about how tattoos will change over time giving insight into the best option for your next ink adventure. Highly recommended! Also the shop in general has good vibes, cool decorations and the most relatable music ever. Every song that played was on my personal playlist. This shop is a vibe 😎

My daughter designed a couple small pieces that Scott very willingly inked for us. He did a fabulous job and without being pushy even offered advice to make the colors pop! I was very impressed with the cleanliness and customer-centered attention. The atmosphere is very laid back and friendly. Love the art work and the atmosphere here. There are talented artist that does a great work. Especially Brian. If you need some black and gray shading, that is the person to go to. As well as an awesome female artist. There all awesome. Its definitely the place to go.

Great staff, real professionals. Glad I found this place. Scott was able to fix my girlfriends grim reaper perfectly. None of my local shops would touch it, just suggested laser removal, the lines are too close was there excuse.Will definitely visit again!

So, I was a walk in, which was super awesome. It was clean and everyone was wonderful.I got roman numerals on my wrist, which are great. The ONLY problem is I wanted them in purple and theyre definitely black. I can totally deal with it, I just wish it wasnt soooo noticeable. But its also my fault for not making sure purple was being used.Overall, this is a great place. The owner was super cool.

Amazing work with a laid back professionalism. Ive gotten two tattoos there and both times the experience was amazing. My first tattoo the artist stayed over by about an hour just to finish my tattoo. The second time, a different artist was in just to help out up front. He went all the way home, got his supplies, and returned just to give my wife and I a tattoo.Very professional and knowledgeable. They also do free touch up work on all of their tattoos. Overall this is by far the best experience Ive had with a shop. Ever.I wont go anywhere else.

Their apprentice Megan does great work! Scott will be working in my cover up next month. They do great work and charge reasonable prices. By coming back time and time again, you become family.

Kenny did a great job on my tattoo and was super helpful throughout the entire process. He even stayed late to tattoo me and was totally understanding after I made some unfortunate paperwork mistakes. Everyone at the shop was super cool and approchable and I they definitely adhere to the sign on their window that says “We’re looking forfriends, not clients.” I’d certainly recommend Knuckle Up to anybody looking for a comfortable, friendly, and professional environment.

My daughter got a piercing there. The staff was very nice and professional. The staff all seemed to get along well. I dont think I would go here personally for anything, but thats because nothing spoke to me after looking through the artists portfolios.

The artists are on point, made us feel right at home, they even bought us around of drinks afterwards. I got a thousand tattoos from a variety of shops and its by far my favorite. They treated us like family. I got 1 artist left to put to the test and Im not worried. They got some awesome shirts too.

My best friend and I walked in Friday and was greeted right away. She wanted a piercing, and Amber was honest about the pros and cons. My bff then asked about a tattoo and Amber did it right then. She was so sweet and did not complain at all. The tattoo looks amazing. I will be going here to get my tattoos done as well. Highly recommend.

They are all super nice here! I got a small kio tattoo and every single person in there talked to me greeted me and all asked me if I was doing ok when I was near passing out. Went for the $40 tattoo sale, the wait was crazy! 7 hours! BUT worth the wait! Brian did an amazing job! All the artists took their time, and did great work even with the mad amount of people.

I love getting tattooed here. I wish I would had found this place sooner . I have been to a lot of tattoo shops not only for myself but with others and never went back. But this shop I wouldnt recommend going anywhere else nor would I Wana ever go anywhere else . I always leave happy I go in there and enjoy my time everyone is amazing . I went in to get my belly button pierced here and the staff was extremely rude. When the girl took me to the back to do the piercing it was extremely messy and unprofessional. As she was doing my piercing she messed it up the first time which caused me a lot of pain, I then let her try again and she messed it up, although it went through it is extremely painful and very swollen. If my piercing rejects I don’t look forward to going back and dealing with more complications. I’ve heard good things about the other piercers and I wish I could’ve got the chance to get mine done by one of them. I understand people make mistakes but the girl seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing.

I’d heard Knuckle Up had excellent staff and quality tattoos, so I went in for a consult for a cover up of my “abomination”. Brian rearranged his schedule to fit me in the next day, and my cover up is absolutely beautiful!! Everyone at the shop was kind, friendly, and patient. I’ve been tattooed at numerous shops and I can honestly say that Knuckle Up is hands-down the best.

Holy cow! Hailey (probably spelled wrong) pierced my nose and omg, she was so nice and gentle! The whole place was calm and relaxed and the two girls had in the room and they just had me smiling the whole time. I highly recommend!

Went to Knuckle Up with 2 friends to get a tattoo in rememberance of our dogs that passed. This is my 1st tattoo, I just turned 60!! (it was like Senior Citizens Day!) and am very happy with my paw print that Jeremy did. The shop was clean the enviroment was relaxed and the crew was extremely nice and knowledgeable. It was a very good experience If I ever get another tattoo, it will be from Knuckle Up!

I strongly advise people to STAY AWAY from this place!! Go anywhere else! Got staph infection when tattooed there about 6 mo ago. At first thought it mustve been from something else. But when I returned a month or so later and had it touched up I got staph AGAIN !!! What are the odds!!! Never in my life have I had staph. Clearly their sharing needles or ink or something!!! I wasnt going to say anything, but a friend convinced me to review them. Im not the confrontational type.Literally lived a nightmare and several thousand dollars in dr. & hospital bills!! 😫😫😫😫

If I could give less than zero stars I would! I made an appt 3 weeks in advance just to see some chic named Amber for a tattoo. She never even showed up! The staff was sitting around joking and laughing that her and her boyfriend were drunk last night, probably hung over, and one of them has a black eye but they didnt know which one. They tried to call her phone and no answer. According to the owner she never answers though. So isnt that nice! And honestly would you want somebody to tattoo you who is hung over still at 2 oclock in the afternoon? So after standing around waiting with no where to sit down for 20 minutes the owner finally looks at me and simply just says sorry about that do you want us to call you? Are you serious? Waited 3 weeks and my entire day off and thats it? Wow! There were other artists there but never once was I offered someone else to do it but 4 hours later after complaining on social media the owner sends me a message stating that he couldnt let someone else help me because they all had appts...well gee so did I ! This chic finally arrived to work apparently hours later and sent me a message asking if I was still interested she wanted to make it right but at this point I had already gone somewhere else and made yet another appt .... I wouldn go here if the tattoos were free! What a joke

I’ve been here a few times for some tattoos and I have to say this place is the most relaxing and fun environment I’ve been in.. Every single tattoo artist and piercer was amazing. They all individually handle you with care and give you exactly what you want... honestly I’ll never go any where else for a tattoo or piercing... they want friends not clients and I think that’s the most important thing about a buisness!!!!

I came in as a walk in to get a tattoo here and not really having a complete idea of what exactly I wanted aside from the font and the quote. The font had to be traced off of a note that was someone elses writing but the letter said had nothing to do with the note so each letter had to pulled and traced to make the quote. Kenny was very helpful in doing that and did it no problem. But I didnt just want words on my arm I wanted something that would make the words pop and was artistic to an extent because this tattoo means a lot to me. I explained that to Kenny and told him a cross should do. He took the time out to help me pick out a cross and I told him from there do what you think looks good. When he showed me the drawing when he was done he meant my expectations and then some the first drawing. This was my first tattoo and he was very helpful in explaining and answering all my questions about getting a tattoo. He washed his hands before getting the needle and ink ready and then after before he put his gloves on to prep my arm. Then after preping he washed them again and opened each needle and everything right in front of me. During the tattoo he explained each step we were at and the pain to expect and with it being my first tattoo was very comforting and appreciated. When the tattoo was finished I was mind blown and it was way more than what I imagined it being and was very detailed. Kenny also explained what to do to take care of it what not to do and what to expect over the next few weeks. I would highly recommend knuckle up for any tattoos or piercings to anyone. Their artists are very artistic and tatlented. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They try to ease your nerves and make you as comfortable as possible. You can tell they take a lot of pride in the cleansliness of their shop and take even more pride in being sterile and staying sterile through the tattoo and piercing process. If I could give them 6 stars I would. I believe they mean their motto to a T which is we dont want clients we want friends and my experience with this shop truly makes me feel that way. I will go here for my next tattoo hands down no doubt. Ive never written a review for any business but they exceeded my expections by far and they deserve a review. Thank you guys.

I was debating writing a review, but I feel its right. I made an appointment at Knuckle Up to add to my collection. It was a nautical compass. After it was finished, I drove home and realized that 5 of the 12 letters were backwards. Went back up the next day and the apologize profusely and injected this black ink into the backwards letters. That ink was suppose to basically take the other color out. He said come back in a month after it heals and theyll fix it. Ok cool. It healed up and I went back. The black ink did nothing and left the other color perfectly intact. I told them I was ok with them just trying to see what they could do and they agreed they could improve it. I was ok with that. The owner then said I will have to pay a $75 shop and material fee. My tattoo cost me 140. Lol. I got up and walked out. I dont recommend them. I got what I paid for. Lesson learned

I took my daughter here to get her second lobe piercing done. The gentleman that did the work was very nice and made her feel comfortable.

I prefer James over anyone, but I like to find something I like and stick with it. Ive seen several pieces that James has tattooed onto friends and my husband and I havent heard or seen anything less than perfect from his work.

This is the only shop Ill ever come too. Its like no other. The artists are incredible the owner always strives to be the best he can for the customers. Never been to a friendlier place. Love this place.

I really like what you guys do, got my nose pierced there & it’s good. but i got my septum pierced there almost a year ago & it was sideways & it looked bad in my eyes. i ended up taking it out about 3 months ago.

I was really glad I chose to have my tattoo done at Knuckle Up. Amber did an excellent job! Everyone was nice and accommodating. I look forward to visiting Knuckle Up again for my next tattoo.

First time I went here I waited 4 and a half hours and didnt get my simple tattoo that I wanted... I even had an alternative tattoo and jeremy refered me to someone else and put me at the bottom of that artists list after waiting so long... this time I had the same guy that refused my first tattoo ideas and now the lines are kinda messed up... I wanted so hard to be ok with this but its not how I wanted it... this tattoo was all I wanted for my 21st birthday and I am sad to say it but Im not satisfied

Seems like most of the artists here have a problem with saturation. There’s a lot of patchy work walking out of those doors.
