Went in today and got two walk in tattoos (my friend got 2 as well). upon entry, we were so nicely greeted. kihal tattooed us and he was very funny yet very professional, and also very quick. was such a smooth process and the pricing was great! very cleanly atmosphere. i will absolutely be returning

Did a walk-in recently for a nice size thigh piece. I wanted a skull and flowers. JD did my tattoo and he did absolutely amazing! Killed the whole experience! From his work to his customer service skills. He was nice, patient and just overall made you feel comfortable. That was even with me twitching a lot. The whole shop was a great vibe and you can tell everyone there is just overall good people. Also can’t remember his name but the front desk guy was very very nice and ontop of it. A great employee also.

Chase was awesome! I was traveling with my band and we had a show in Ohio decided last minute I wanted to get a tattoo so I walked in and Chase was able to get the job done in about 30 minutes giving me plenty of time to get to my show. Not only did he get it done with a little time on his side, but he made it look awesome. The shop also happens to be the coolest shop I’ve ever been to. Great Job guys

The atmosphere in this place is nice, relaxing, and very clean! I highly recommend Black Tooth Tatoo to everyone! My artist was Kyle, I showed him what I wanted and he did exactly that! He made sure I was comfortable while doing my tattoo, and the fact that he was so light handed from beginning to the end really put me at ease. The gentleman in the front area, I dont remember his name, but he was very nice, and helpful also! If I could give them 10 stars I definitely would!!

Kyle did such an amazing piece of artwork as a memorial for my little sis that past away. I was in the right artists hands for this one. Everyone at Black Tooth are very friendly and make you feel very welcome.

JD is an amazing artist. He has the lightest hand when tattooing and does beautiful work. If you’re looking for a welcoming and relaxed environment, there is no better choice than Black Tooth. Chase did my first tattoo on my shoulder. I just beat cancer and it meant the most to me. He did it amazingly and it was really smooth and he got it done in ten minutes. He helped me design a great font and I am so beyond happy with it. 10/10 go here for your tats!

Went here for my first tattoo, absolutely loved it and would recommend to anyone looking at getting one. Arron was the artist who did my tattoo and i absolutely loved his energy and passion for the work he does. Been going to Black tooth for 3 years. always a clean and fun environment! had Keith this time around for a skull cowboy. Keith was quick, comforting and always checked to make sure I was doing okay. Cody working at the front desk was very welcoming and informative. 10/10 will go back!

Went with my friend to get a tattoo the first time and Emily did hers. She was great! She was super nice, talked to us and she was very caring for my friend for her to be comfortable. I myself got my own tattoo another day but by Arron and he was also awesome! Talked to us casually and had me comfortable too. Id recommend both for sure. Everyone at the shop was friendly though

He was honest, straightforward & helped us plan something that would look great. His designs & placements looked better than what we imagined. This is definitely our new go-to shop!

Went in to get my first tattoo. “FAMILIA” which means family in Italian. They were welcoming, professional, safe, and encouraging!Half way through my tat, my artist asked if i was ok. I guess i was turning pale. Not to my knowledge though I thought I was fine. I guess i was about to pass out because of how my body was reacting to the ink, needle, ect. They were ON IT. I heard someone say “grab an orange juice” within seconds they told me to drink the orange juice as fast as i can. I did, along with 2 packs of smarties candy. Within minutes I was already to finish my tat. Thanks for the professionalism and the knowledge of how to handle this situation! Good job guys! Also, the tat looks awesome!

Very great experience at Black Tooth Tattoo. Reasonable pricing and excellent employees. You can tell they actually care here. JD was my tattoo artist. Hes a great person to talk to, and his work is very quality. I will definitely be a returning customer and refer this studio to others!

I’ve gotten two tattoos from them one from Rich which was a custom design and one from Arron his design (what I got today) both are AMAZING and I would get another tattoo from them!

Emily is amazing! All of the people at this shop are. I was cracking up at some of their jokes as well throughout my visit. I will definitely be coming back for more tattoos in the near future. My boyfriend and I both were walk-ins and they were incredibly nice! This was my first tattoo and I felt welcomed and comfortable with the owner and all of the artists. I had Emily as my tattoo artist and she did a fantastic job, especially considering my tattoo was not her style that she normally does! My friends and I came in for walk in tattoos pretty late and our tattoo artist, Josh, stayed over just to finish all of ours. It was really awesome of him and he did an amazing job. All of the staff there were also extremely nice and it was just an all around great experience (especially for my first tattoo!)

I have been to this place 3 times with my friends and each time we have been given phenomenal service. Today I went in alone and my tattoo artist Josh was very patient and communicative with me. He took the time to redraw my design about 3 times and kept checking back to make sure it was what I wanted. On top of that the whole staff is incredibly friendly and just all around fun to be with. I will continue coming to this shop and recommend everyone try them out as well!

Took my 19yo daughter in today for her first tattoo. Josh was absolutely fantastic with her. Quick and great work. She wanted a simple tattoo and he delivered perfectly. We are very happy with our entire experience!

This was my first tattoo at black tooth tattoo and I definitely plan on being back. The atmosphere was so fun & everything is very clean. I was there for a few hours & enjoyed the whole time! Absolutely love this shop, every person who works here just radiates such fun and beautiful energy. They always know what they are doing, skill and people skill wise. Pricing is fair, and people are amazing.They are vastly underrated but all of my tattoos have been done here, most of them from Josh. He’s so talented! Absolutely give them a look!

I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. I was a walk in and told Jon what I wanted. He orchestrated it exactly as I wanted. For being a woman and walking into a studio is intimidating but I felt very calm and welcomed. I never felt talked down to and they treat you as a person with an idea and they help you create that. I will be returning to this studio for my remaining tattoo ideas.

This place is super cool! Lots of great artists who can absolutely kill so many different styles. I’m into collecting bold traditional tattoos so I usually see Arron Albaugh, who’s amazing with that and so much more. Great location as well.

Chase was a nice dude and did an awesome tattoo for me. I had a memory piece done for my brother and he did better than I imagined. I’m not really versed in tattoos so I was extremely happy with how he and the other guy at the counter(sorry I forgot his name) made me feel comfortable. Pretty cool experience overall and will be my first choice if I do anything else.

They do AMAZING work!!! Allie is my only TATTOO artist forever. She always goes above and beyond. Extremely detail oriented and fair with pricing. I recommend her above anyone in the entire planet!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came in as a walk-in and was seen by Emily. When I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff. The artist listened to my idea and designed exactly what I wanted. I was beyond satisfied with my decision. I will be back soon for more work. I recommend 100%. No complaints at all.

Second time coming here, Carlos did my first tattoo about a year ago and this time i had Jody. Both of them were amazing, so kind and supportive. I drew my own design and Jody was able to copy it exact and it turned out exactly how i wanted. such a fun and positive atmosphere, everyone is so down to earth. Had fun hanging out with Jody and JD, will definitely be coming back to get my next one.

Very good customer service, very clean and comfy environment. Very patient and open minded employees. Matt who did my feather drawing tat was very nice and well mannered. Brought my sister in for her first tattoo and he was more than happy to assist us both. Ill be back to add more to this feather in the future. Very awesome

Josh did my tattoos. I went back to him on two occasions. He is very patient and wanted to make sure I was happy and comfortable both times. I will be back again!

Josh has done all my traditional tattoos and I’m working with him on a leg sleeve. He’s super friendly and honest about what designs work best with my anatomy and skin. Last time I was there Trip was at the front desk and he’s super kind and great to talk to. Always super clean as well.

Got a 10 letter word across my ankle that was overpriced. I asked the artist to fix something for me before putting it on and his response was it wouldnt look right so he didnt fix it. Him being the professional i went along with it but as the tattoo has been on my skin for a few months, I wish that he would have listened to my preferences. Tattoo isnt bad but would not recommend or come back. You cant see what the word says at all.

This is one of the cleanest, most respectful and down to earth tattoo shops I’ve been to. Quickly became my favorite shop in Ohio with the work Carlos did for me. You won’t be disappointed with anyones artwork here and I highly recommend making the trip to see this shop and the amazing quality of work they put out. Solid people in an organized and homelike atmosphere.

I went to see Chase for the first tattoo Ive gotten that is regularly visable- so needless to say I was nervous. He really cared about what I wanted, and basically read my mind on how I wanted it to look. His script work is beautiful and Im super impressed with how clean the lines are. I got my first tattoo at Black Tooth after several friends recommended them to me. I showed up on a Tuesday afternoon as a walk-in, and they were able to fit me in. I got a small tattoo on my ankle in memory of my grandpa, and my artist, Carlos, did a fantastic job. He was quick, professional, and gave me a good quality piece for a very affordable price. The other staff were also great and were very welcoming. Tattoo shops can sometimes be intimidating and dingy, but Black Tooth is neither. They have great staff and are a very clean shop (cleanliness is a huge priority for me). I have more tattoo plans in the future, and I will 100% be going to Black Tooth for all of them.

I went to see Chase, he is a true artist to say the least. 22 years ago I got some tribal work done on my leg and needles to say I was over it. Chase listened to my wants and concerns and went over a few choices with me and he came up with an amazing peony flower (representing the compassion I need to show for myself) to cover up my softball size tattoo. His work is second to none and is absolutely beautiful. It was over a 3 hour session and he was very thoughtful of how I was doing during such a long tattoo service. It healed flawlessly and I recommend him to everyone. It’s very “scary” to allow someone to put a permanent piece of art on your body, and I trusted him completely. I waited over 15 years to find someone I could trust to do my cover up, and I’m beyond happy with the results and can’t wait to add to it! Chase is the best tattoo artist I have ever known, for me it’s about the whole experience and I give him 1000% a thumbs up! Thank you for taking something I didn’t like about my body and making it beautiful again!

Kind of a weird experience—walked in to get three tattoos, one apiece on myself and two friends. Got a quote, but when we showed the artist at the counter he essentially said he didn’t think it would work out and then ignored us/stopped communicating with us, even though my one friend still wanted to go for it. We left, even though there was only one other person there and we were set on getting these tattoos today. They were even simple, just black and very small. Unfortunate, as all the reviews are overwhelmingly positive and I wish I’d seen a little more of the professionalism experienced by other customers.

I have gotten tattooed by Shane twice now. He is very talented and always takes the time to work with me to make sure the tattoo is something I’m extremely happy with. I would recommend getting a tattoo from Shane to anyone in the Akron area, especially if they like the American traditional style.

I’ve got three pieces from black tooth currently and there is a reason I keep going back. The whole staff treats me with professionalism and always works with me. Shane’s work in particular is stellar and if you are in the market for an awesome American Traditional piece, he’s your guy.

I cant even begin to express how amazing my experience at this tattoo shop was. After having a very traumatic experience losing a close friend and coworker of mine, the owner of the shop Rich spent about over an hour talking to me about it and helping me come up with the perfect memorial/tribute tattoo for my friend. He really went out of his way to help me out. And now Im rocking the best shoulder piece 3 hours could buy. These artists are very creative and passionate about their tattoos and their customers. I would recommend this shop to anyone local or just coming through town. I wish I could give them a 10/5

Black Tooth Tattoo Co. has some of the best artists not only in the area, but that Ive personally ever seen. Had a Zenyatta tattoo done by Mitch Pivarski and it is absolutely sickeningly phenomenal. I wont be getting tattooed anywhere else again! Great artists for custom designs. Made me feel comfortable with their laid back attitude and environment. 5/5.

I started going to Black Tooth for my tattoos over a year ago, and can’t imagine going anywhere else. Shane Sehmer absolutely kills it every single time. Not only is he a great tattoo artist who really knows what he’s doing, but he has the best personality for someone who works with people all day. Whether you’re getting your first tattoo or your 100th, Shane is the guy to go to.

Im getting some work done here by Carlos. I followed Carlos over from his previous shop. That should tell you something. I cant say anything about other artists but it sounds like an over all good spot to go. If you want good work from a good dude, go see Carlos.

Got a tattoo on my lower back, which is a really sensitive area but JD made it feel almost like nothing. Loved the shop so much that the next day I came in and got a tattoo I had gotten at another shop filled in, and again one of the best tattoo shop experiences I’ve had.
