Studio was clean, vibes are immaculate, 10/10 experience all around!! Jesse was amazing and his work is beyond words, book with him asap! Got a rib tattoo done, and the pain during it was almost nonexistent. His attention to detail and eagerness to get everything exactly how I wanted it is so greatly appreciated. Although this studio only accepts appointments they were kind enough to accept me for a quick walk-in. The minimum is $200 a bit steep, but I understand for the area. Corrie provided quick, professional, sanitary services, although his personality is a bit cold this is not unusual for tattoo artists. I likely wont be back but I appreciate the last minute tattoo and convenient location.

Great experience from beginning to end with Bella! It was my first one so I was very nervous but she coached me through it all and was not painful at all! I love how my tattoo turned out 🙂

I highly recommend working with Jesse Najera with Old Town Ink. He took my ideas for my custom arm piece and was able to design with ballpoint pen to skin. I am obsessed with my black fine line single needle piece. He was very professional, easy to communicate with, and extremely talented. Tattoo healed very nicely. I recently had the true pleasure of working with Jesse. He fixed a previously botched-ish tattoo and did so beyond my expectations! He also added hand drawn florals, and I am so impressed. Hes amazing! Its worth the wait!! His shop is pristine and decorated pretty cool, too! I cant wait to go back!

I have to be honest: be cautious going to this studio. My first session gave me an infection: artist recommended improper, unsafe aftercare. Two other sessions left my skin overworked. It took months and months to heal and I had scarred skin in a few spots.The artist also repeatedly ignored my directions and requests. I asked for a lot of negative space and gray scale. I wound up with an almost entirely blacked-out arm.I also had multiple issues with scheduled sessions not being honored.Lastly, my tattoo looks nothing like I expected it. I paid well over twice as much as I was quoted for the tattoo...and its not anywhere close to done. The artist was only as good as the reference images I provided, which he traced (even after I asked that the references just be used as references, not an exact copy). Artist did no custom design, and charged an hourly rate while I was in the studio for the design, which was just a Procreate copy and paste. I found this odd and counter to all of my other inking experiences.I saved up for years for this tattoo and all I feel when I look at it is disappointment and regret.I am now looking at a long, expensive removal process and then getting it done by another artist.I urge caution before going to this studio.

Very clean and professional shop. They place heavy emphasis on ensuring the clients comfort and safety, which is fantastic. Mila was my artist and she did a fantastic job. Great line work and shading done with a light touch. Shes also great to chat with while shes working and equally comfortable to sit in silence with; you can tell she cares very much about creating a comfortable atmosphere for her clients. Im looking forward to getting more tattoos from her and continuing to support a fantastic woman-owned tattoo shop.

I got my very first tattoo done here last Saturday by Mila. She was wonderful and very professional to work with from start to finish. She helped bring my original concept to reality and created a gorgeous tattoo for me. She helped me understand all the steps that go into getting a tattoo with the proper care afterwards and ensured I was comfortable and knew what to expect going into my first every tattoo experience. I can’t recommend her enough and look forward to booking her again in the future for even more work.

I was able to schedule 3 tattoos with Mila and she did an amazing job! She worked with me to get the designs just right, she explained each step of the process both before the appointment, during the appointment and the aftercare for my tattoos. She was easy to work with and talk to during the whole process and her work was exactly what I wanted. She was very fair with her prices, which I also really appreciated. If I am ever in the VA area again I will definitely try to schedule another appointment with her! The shop is also very nice and has a great aesthetic!

Mila has done two of my tattoos within the past year.First and foremost, any of the negative reviews do not substantiate the artist she is and the talent she has. It sounds to me as if people don’t read her guidelines when requesting a tattoo, specifically when asking for changes to the original idea.Being an artist myself, it took me a year and some change to find someone I felt comfortable enough with their artistic skills to continue my tattoos. Mika’s was the first person I found that matched what I was looking for.Not only is she professional, she has an awesome soul and is talented beyond measure. I am always grateful when she takes the time to design and listen to my creative thought process when she is drawing up my tattoos.She is an outstanding artist and is well worth the wait and the money.

Jesse is an amazing artist! I had a very difficult cover up but it wasn’t hard at all for Jesse to turn it into a beautiful masterpiece. You can’t see any part of my old tattoo, it’s like it never existed!

Jesse is a true artist. He took his time to consult with me , understand my vision and then developed my idea into a piece of art. I gave him the main idea and style and he free handed the sketch. Turned it out into a master piece, his lines are delicate but precise , his attention to details is amazing. Everything about my experience was super professional and great.

Sierra did a custom tattoo design for me that I just LOVE! I sent her a photo for inspiration, as well as a list of her previous work that I liked the style of. She took that information and made a piece that was exactly what I wanted.During the actual tattoo session itself, she was very accommodating when I needed to take breaks and even provided one of those really large Smart Water bottles when I requested water (I just expected a small cup, so it was kind of nice haha). I would 100% get another tattoo from her.Also worth mentioning, the studio itself was very nice and cozy. It smelled good right when I came in and all the artists have individual rooms. Ive been to some tattoo shops where the chairs are in a large room, which Im not a fan of.

Sierra is absolutely amazing. My whole experience was perfect from start to finish. I got a custom floral wrap done, and not only was it beautiful, but Sierra is so sweet! I am definitely coming back here for future tattoos and to have my previous ones fixed.

Mila is an incredible tattoo artist! After a few back and forth emails, she perfectly brought my vision to life! Her line work is fantastic, she has a great eye for layout and design, and shes super collaborative. This was my 7th and biggest tattoo. And, it was my best experience! She has a light touch, the shop is super clean, and she works in a private space. All that and shes kind and a pleasure to work with, as well. If you are looking for an artist, shes the one for you!

Mila did an amazing job with my 100% UV invisible ink tattoo!😍 It was my first tattoo and she made the experience comfortable and relaxing. My experience with Old Town Ink and with Mila was amazingly pleasant and professional from the beginning. I recently got a tattoo from Sierra at Old Town Ink and she did a gorgeous job. Great communication, very clean shop and beautiful line work. I had a wonderful experience with Mila. She was super responsive and came up with the perfect design for me. On the day, everything was streamlined and easy, and the whole process was (relatively) painless. :) And the tattoos look great; her linework is excellent. I love them and will probably come back when I get another idea.

I cannot recommend this place enough.Mila was my tattoo artist. It was such a pleasure to get this piece. It was for a large scar cover-up - a raised/keloid one too. Going in, scar coverups are tricky and different people’s scar tissue heals differently so you never quite know. Mila had me come in prior to do a few test dots on the scar and see how they healed in a week and thankfully they healed wonderfully so we proceeded with the cover-up. I get compliments all the time on the tattoo due to level of detail she put in on it. For context: the tattoo is inspired by the Alex Grey’s art work - two different concepts superimposed. Just look up Alex Grey’s Collective Vision - it’s an incredible attention to detail to draw/paint that, let alone tattoo it permanently on skin (scarred skin at that!).As for the tattoo place itself, I felt very comfortable there. This did take time as like I said, it required a very high level of detail so comfort was important. I was asked by Mila several times about how I was doing, if I needed a break, or if I felt cold and wanted a heater close to me (it was during the winter).Again, great place - amazing tattoo artist. Cannot recommend enough to do this experience justice! Definitely will be back.

I thought it was only me who had this bad experience with Mila canceling last minute after months of waiting for an appointment. But after reading the reviews, It also sounds like she’s notorious for canceling less than 72 hours before the appointment when you make changes or have specific requests. If that’s the case then Mila you should definitely have the conversation about the design and get the stencil design started as soon as an appointment is booked and not wait until 2 days before the appointment to start the stencil to then cancel it on the customer because they have requests that are out of your scope of competence. Tattoo or any kinda business isn’t just about the quality it’s also about the reliability and you sure proved to be very unreliable. Please consider changing your timing of working on stencil designs for people so you don’t waste their time and cancel based on your own convenience.

Mila was and will always be my artist. I gave her free reign for my sleeve after I gave her my idea. She knocked it out of the park. She also has the softest touch. I can sit for every bit of 8 hours with her and get up feeling refreshed. I will recommend her to anyone looking to get their first tattoo up to the person wanting their next tat. You wont be disappointed!

The up and coming tattoo artist that they have brought to fame is unquestionably a talent in itself yet they still also provide a great atmosphere and environment to get a fire tattoo. I’ve been getting tattooed by Jesse for the past ten years, and each time I leave satisfied and with a piece of art that comes out more amazing than I could have expected. For that very reason, I chose to follow him regardless of the shop. If you are looking for a unique and breathtaking tattoo, you better schedule an appointment because Jesse has a waiting list, but trust me, its worth it. Highly recommend.

My experience with Jesse was absolutely amazing. From day one of tattoo ideas to creation Jesse was always patient and knowledgeable helping on decision making one step at a time. His ability to envision your ideas and bring them to life is a next level skill that he possess. Tattoo process is never entirely painless but with right skills of tattoo application Jesse was able to complete an 11 hour tattoo with very minimal discomfort. The final results was better than the initial idea that was in my head, because giving the base to Jesse and than letting him have creative freedom, combination of those two factors will blow your mind. He took my ideas and delivered next level art. I give Jesse nothing but highest ratings! After this experience I know he is the artist on top if my list!

The entire experience was very disappointing and unprofessional. My appointment was booked for over 2 months and Mila decided she was not suitable for the project one day prior to the appointment (with no real reason provided). I was very clear about wanting fine line florals from the beginning. If that was out of her scope, she shouldve said so at the start. She backed out when minor changes were made to the first draft- which was very unimaginative to begin with and a direct copy of the inspiration images provided. A customer should not be made to feel at fault for requesting minor changes or any changes at all.Wasted 2 months looking forward to an appointment, only for it to be cancelled in the very end.

Kaveh created a beautiful tattoo of my beloved cat who passed away last year. He ensured I was aware of the process and was very attentive. Thank you for everything, will be back soon!!!

Do not bother booking with Mila. I waited several months for my appointment only to have it cancelled 1 day out for no clear reason. The design drafts Mila submitted were underwhelming and nothing more than straight redraws of what I already sent her. And then she cancelled after receiving minor feedback on the drafts. Super disappointing experience, take your business elsewhere.
