I cannot say enough good things about this LaserAway location. By far the best injectors I have ever had. I always leave looking natural and refreshed. Peyton is nothing short of a magician with a needle. The manager, Erica, has made every visit an absolute delight and the reason I keep going back. She always goes above and beyond to make my time there so comfortable. I make the drive to this location because the services are unmatched.

Had Anna as my nurse for Clear & Brilliant - she was so kind and funny and made me feel very comfortable! She took great care with my skin and I will absolutely be requesting her when I go back for more treatments.

Most recently I did my Clear and brilliant with Kristin and it was great. It’s a spicy treatment but she made me feel so comfortable. I also do laser and my results are amazing. I was taken back on time and finished in good timing without feeling rushed! Love this location and the nurses :)

It was the worst and disappointing experience since I have moved in the US.I contacted them, as they are nearby I live, for a laser hair removal session, after I have had a lot of sessions in my country.The contact person, Nicole, was careful to tell everything related to the payment, but just a few information on how should I prepare before going for the treatment.Even when the nurse called me later, she did not specify anything.The clinic requires to pay when you schedule the appointment. And I did.Ah, If you cancel you will be charged….Anyway, I went there, and the nurse asked me nonsense questions, like do I have a tatoo in the area that would be treated,( as she would not see it in a few seconds later) but never ever told me that if any hair is in the area, they would not treat it.And they did not treat the area I needed most. Even when I asked to double check she said that she did, but actually she didn’t.I called next day, asking on a solution.After a couple of calls back and forth for a few days with Nocole, she submitted a customer service issue, and I received a call by Brian. He was so rude and I felt discriminated.He said It was all my responsibility and that nothing could be done, except of more treatments. Quote: With a discount but “I don’t know how.Honestly, I feel like they stole my money.One session cost 399$.I was disappointed, stressed for almost one week waiting for a solution and at the end they didn’t take any responsibility.I would never go back there. I have 3 other friends that decided to wait and see how my experience would be, so they could go or not for the treatment.But, of course NO. I would never suggest that place.

Ashley exceeded my expectations when it came to providing me with exceptional customer service during my consultation over there phone. She answered all my questions and concerns I had about laser hair removal & pricing as well. Ashley was absolutely wonderful in all ways possible and was so comforting and empathetic when it came to talking about my PCOS issues and stubborn hairs. She assisted me with choosing different options and packaged provided for the services I chose and informed me of the 70% off promotion they had going on. I definitely wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to provide me such knowledgeable information about laser hair removal especially being that this will be my first time attending Laser Away. She was beyond amazing 🤩

The staff at the Arlington VA location were amazing. They made me feel so comfortable during the whole laser hair removal process. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!!

The reviews are correct that scheduling is a nightmare at the Clarendon location. While the nurses are friendly, booking appointments and customer service is the complete opposite. I have had several appointments that were bumped or cancelled due to “scheduling conflicts,” “overbooking,” etc. One incident, while unfortunate, is acceptable, but this seems to be the MO here. Calling patients without leaving messages, and having them call back to be informed by the call center that they need to come in at a different time (with less than a 24-hr notice) is not good business.

All of the reviews about scheduling issues are true. I was supposed to have a virtual consultation and the nurse never showed up. After rescheduling, still no one showed up until I called them and they told me I could not get the service I wanted without including additional services. This wasted my time and should have been expressed to me initially.

Got my laser hair removal with Zoe and she was incredible! Super kind and sweet and made the process super painless. Everyone at the office was amazing as well.

My fav location!!! The whole staff was so beautiful and nice. Front desk ladies were helpful and welcoming, but Jazz…. Jazz is that girl!! She was amazing and truly took care of me today.

For my second session Alexis was super sweet, nice and professional. :) The cold air really helped me a lot, and she took quick breaks which also helped and made the whole experience so much easier. Coming in Carey took good care of me as well and was super helpful checking out. Thank you girls! ❤️

I’ve been to Laser Away for two sessions thus far and each experience has been great. My first session was with Ciara and my most recent session was with Maggie for Brazilian, Underarms and Legs. Both ladies were very knowledgeable, super friendly and very very thorough. My experience has been 10/10 and I hope that remains unchanged as I continue with services. I Highly recommend.

I had my fourth session at Laser Away for Brazilian and underarms. I had Erin today and she was the sweetest human. She checked numerous times to make sure I was comfortable/ okay throughout the process. I have really enjoyed my experience overall and look forward to the rest of my sessions. I’ve noticed a huge difference in the areas I’ve gotten and never have had issues with negative side effects after. I recommend laser hair removal to everyone and anyone!

**update added* Will continue to update as I continue with package!I bought a $3000 laser hair removal package that consists of 8 sessions of full legs, Brazilian, and under arms. I wanted to share my progress to help anyone else who is deciding! Just to note, I’ve had laser done before on my underarms at a small spa, I wanted it to be great, but I don’t think their laser was powerful enough which is why I started at LaserAway. The sales person at laser away repeatedly said their lasers are different and it will actually lead to permanent hair removal, so if you’re not wanting it all gone, she didn’t recommend booking. But then after you pay and said the many many forms, they alllll say “this is not permanent” soo… don’t trust the sales people 🤷🏻‍♀️ The nurses say you should expect 10-20% hair reduction after each session.Session 1: Underarms & Brazilian: I didn’t feel a thing, but also didn’t see results… I recommend you ask for a stronger laser early if you aren’t feeling it. I felt like this session was wasted.Legs: I do them at a different time then Brazilian and underarms- and it was SUCH a different and great experience. I had Kristin, she amazing. Really talked me through everything and did lots of tests to understand my skin. 10/10 recommend asking for her. Such a better experience and now I’m more hopeful for the future sessions.Session 2: Both were fine! After each session I’m so hopeful because the hair takes a lot longer to grow back compared to shaving, but it does still grow back :( Still didn’t feel much for pain. Starting to see some results for Brazilian. But ultimately my hair grows back pretty normal after about 6 weeks.Session 3: Started to feel it a bit more pain in my legs because they upped the laser, just my shins, which I would rather feel pain and know it’s working than not feeling anything? Be vocal with the nurse if you want to take a break, they are really helpful about that! Results are still so so. Underarms just have fine hair now. I haven’t seen a difference in my upper thighs.Session 4: I had Anna, she was amazing! Highly recommend. The bottom half of my legs are thinning out, the hair is a little more patchy but thin. No change for thighs Hoping the next 4 sessions will really be impactful!**tip! If you’re getting multiple things done, schedule them at different times, not because of pain, but sometimes when the team is understaffed they will rush and not do a great job. I say this because there are clearly 3 big patches that were missed in my Brazilian haha. If before you even start you feel like they are rushing, just asked to be rebooked! I wish I would have done that.

Horrible with scheduling. I live an hour away, was 5 mins from my appointment and they called to cancel me…. I switched to Ashburn location. They’re not great either. Also have limited results overall. Horrible experience overall. I’m with a new laser company now, they’re amazing, so considerate and actually produce results. $4000 down the drain with Laseraway. I recommend you find a company that will do lifetime touch ups too!

Ive received multiple (7) laser hair removal sessions from Laser Away Arlington, Va.so Im absolutely qualified to speak on overall treatment and customer service.Erica the Lead Of Customer Happiness Extradonnaire, was amazing at providing me of all the info needed for my sessions. Every appt shes greeted me with a smile, and water/coffee/tea.Practioner Alexis was so comforting during my latest hair removal - we laughed and had a great time! 10/10Note: As a POC of dark complexion, Ive NEVER had issues with Hyperpigmentation, or any buring/scaring. Drove 1.5 hour to get there for.my appointment- had confirmed three times- I show up and the technician took someone else and I was told I’d have to wait 45 min for the next availability- which I did not have . This was the second chance I gave this location- the first time they gave me some with zero experience and she didn’t have the setting correct - so wasted my money because there was no real treatment. STAY away from here - waste of time waste ofMoney.

I have been coming to them since I started my transformation to work on my face. The 2 nurses that I have dealt with primarily are Faustina. And Erin. When I tell you these lovely ladies walk you through the whole process. They really do I enjoy both of them. I hope they stay at this location.

Great facility, great staff, very helpful front desk personnel, very smart and knowledge technicians who perform the services. Gr8 reasonable pricing and discounts and rewards points that can help lower your costs, a wonderful place that I am glad that i found, I am hooked!! The only downside is the parking, and they dont offer validation if you go into a parking garage and have to pay :-(

Soung was my clinician for laser hair removal today. It was the least painful visit I’ve ever had and I appreciate that she wasn’t rushing through it! All the clinicians and staff are great here.

Yesterday, I just had my first of many laser hair removals. So far, I liked my experience, the nurses are clearly very trained in courtesy and professionalism. The woman/nurse I worked with was so kind and understanding and did an amazing job working with me to make sure I wasnt in any pain or uncomfortable. Happy to say that I will keep coming back!

I have been going to Laser away for a few treatments and Sara, one of the nurses is amazing. She makes me feel comfortable while getting cool sculpting, and is always there to answer my questions. When she is my nurse I feel so much more at ease and she is also very proficient when it comes to getting the applicators on my body. She is thorough yet quick and does great placement. She is an awesome nurse.

I had an appointment yesterday to get my lips filled and I had the best experience! Mirielsa and Briana are the nurses who worked on me and did a phenomenal job. Today I have very minimal bruising and my lips look gorgeous!! I’ve been getting my lips done for 8 years now and this was the happiest I’ve been. Thank you to the awesome LaserAway team for turning this normally uncomfortable procedure into such a great experience!!

Current customer: Clear and Brilliant is the best!!! You have to be consistent and trust the process in 3 session will notice a little difference in 6 sessions notice a big difference. I am currently on session 8 or 9 and everyone who havent seen me since I started (Feb.-present Dec)2023 say my skin complexion and texture looking amazing compared to before. I am going to keep going until my skin feels and look like a baby. Both Arlington and Wisconsin Ave locations extremely professional and clean.

Sonnah was amazing for my laser treatment, will def try to get for my follow ups. Quick, efficient, and did a great job with easing the more “painful” aspects.

I purchased over $4000 in laser hair removal services. I completed one of the packages without promised results (essentially appearing as if I never had treatment…which was confirmed by one of the Nurses after I presented my concern). I was given the run around for about a month before my complaint was finally escalated to their customer service rep. To my dismay I was told I would have to spend an additional $500 for a “maintenance package” although it was confirmed by the Nurse it appeared I didn’t have adequate initial treatment. The Corporate Client Service Rep (Amanda Holmes) went on to bluntly say “Laser away is a business so we just can’t just keep giving laser services away. How would we stay in business”. Needless to say I was shocked and felt very disrespected as a thus far loyal customer. I reached back out last week and requested to speak to a different Customer service rep..: nothing! I’m so disappointed in the way I have been handled by laser away. I would not recommend coming here although they advertise medical grade laser therapy. In fact they are just another money gauging business who want to keep you investing in “maintenance packages” without providing satisfactory initial services.

My experience has been great so far. Everyone is welcoming and my results are amazing! I’ll most definitely come back for other services.

Chose LaserAway for my hair removal treatment and I could not be more pleased. From the beginning every staff member was courteous and kind. I had a thorough conversation over the phone with a staff member who explained the process and answered all my questions. The Arlington LaserAway is in a great location. I found easy parking across the street and was even able to charge up my EV while I was in my appointment. For my first appointment the nurse explained the whole process again, she introduced me to the equipment, and periodically checked on me throughout the appointment (quite a wonderful feat taking into account the fact that the appointment is 15 minutes long!). Its been a few weeks since my first session I am already noticing some positive changes. The center itself is clean, open, bright, and very inviting. For the time I was in the center, I felt pampered and well-cared for. Thank you, LaserAway Arlington!

Such a great first laser hair removal experience! The spa is so clean and cute and the staff are wonderful. Melody was incredible every step of the way! She was very thorough with explaining the procedure and aftercare and made sure to leave space for my questions. She made me feel very comfortable and safe as a client and warned my when certain areas might feel a little spicy, leaving time if I wanted to take a quick break. I highly recommend LaserAway and can’t recommend Melody enough! I’m very happy with my decision to go with LaserAway for my laser hair removal.

I had several tattoo removal sessions completed elsewhere and decided to try their pico laser here for some small stubborn areas. Which it did the trick so points for that!If you’ve ever had laser tattoo removal, you know it hurts like hell. They do not use numbing cream here like I had with my usual place. The area was iced right before going in with the laser. The only advice is that my 45 minute waiting time in the lobby could have been better spent with some numbing cream. Luckily I had a small area, but if you have a bigger treatment area, I’d use a numbing cream before coming into your appt.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, though they will try their best to sell you new treatments or services every time you come in. I got laser hair removal at this location and am disappointed in the results. I still have hair (I was warned that could happen) but what really bothers me is the fact that now my hair is patchy and grows in different thickness/volume. My best guess is it due to the fact that its a different technician every time you go and some are more thorough than others. Honestly, despite what they may have you think they are not any cheaper than any other clinic (even with sales) and I think after this Id prefer to go to a smaller clinic where they can be more thorough and attentive with my treatments.Pros:Friendly StaffNice Facility (Clean and comfortable)Cons:Patchy workDifferent technician every treatment (Some techs are much better than others and you never know which you will get.)

This week I had my first appointment of laser hair removal. I’m getting bazillion area and underarms done. First off, parking was super easy. I went on a Tuesday afternoon, but found a spot very easy.I walked in and the staff was super friendly, asked if I wanted any coffee/water/tea, I got all signed in and within minutes I went back with Peyton. She was super informative and sweet, the service was quick and nearly pain free. I mean it, if you’re still waxing or shaving, just stop and make the investment. I am sold on this and can’t wait to come back for my second session.Update, went for my second service, already seeing a change in hair levels and thickness, but Veronica was my technician for my second appointment and she was wonderful! Everyone was so great and extremely accommodating. They answer all your questions and walk you through the treatment. 10/10 would recommend to all of my friends!

I have been going to LaserAway in other cities since 2018 and LaserAway Arlington is by far the BEST! The office itself is beautiful, clean, and modern. The front desk staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Most importantly, the nurses are fantastic and are true experts at what they do. The results I have seen from every service have been excellent, and every nurse Ive interacted with has been superb. I cant sing their praises enough!

Overall experience was excellent!Working with Erica to better understand how things work at Laser Away was easy and quick. She patiently answered all my questions and got me a great deal on a laser hair removal package.My first hair removal session with Kwedi went great (minus the minor discomfort from the laser). She made sure I was comfortable, and checked in frequently during the session to take breaks.

Before booking please look into the Reddit threads and multiple lawsuit against this company. I wish I would’ve.I purchased my package with Danielle. Before booking I asked atleast 3 times if I needed to cancel at anytime would I be responsible for the remainder of the package. She assured me multiple times that I would not. Well, I needed to cancel my membership today and she told me that it was non-refundable. She lied to me multiple times on the phone. I would stay far away from this company.

Money-grubbing and nice fake smiles scams.For anyone considering doing business with LaserAway, I strongly recommend conducting thorough research before committing to any agreements. Their services are not worth the headache and stress that come with paying for an unnecessary procedure. It is evident that LaserAways primary focus is on maximizing sales. They show little regard for your financial well-being or overall satisfaction. Their main objective seems to be extracting as much money from you as quickly they can. I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by this realization.Here is my unfortunate situation with them:Last month, I contacted LaserAway to address my smile lines, which run in my family. After seeing my sister get a similar treatment, I decided to go ahead. LaserAway scheduled an appointment promptly, and Danielle guided me through the process. Despite my belief that my lines werent deep, Danielle recommended purchasing three syringes. They arranged for PatientFi to cover the cost, which I would pay off over a year.At the clinic, the nurse mentioned that I only needed one syringe. So I used only 3/4 or one syringe and leaving the rest for a touch-up. They also suggested another procedure called Clear Brilliance, using the price of the unused syringes. However, I later discovered they were charging me extra for it. When I questioned the receptionists, they assured me it was included. But my PatientFi account showed two separate balances. I tried contacting Danielle, but she never responded. The reception said they needed to consult with a manager. Since Monday, theyve given me the runaround, promising to follow up but not making any changes.LaserAway needs to prioritize customer service. They shouldnt take advantage of customers or manipulate them into complicated situations. I work hard for my money and dont appreciate wasting it. They should be upfront and honest with their customers. Overall, their services are average and their lack of transparency and empathy is disappointing.I wont return to this clinic even though I have syringes left with them. They can do whatever they want with that. LaserAway is isnt worth compromising your credit score and your finances. LaserAways behavior has made me feel taken advantage of. It took them less than five minutes to create financial complications, yet theyre unwilling to rectify the situation.Sad, sad sad and disappointed

I have to tell the world I had the best experience of a lifetime with Laseraway in Arlington VA, it was my very first time ever getting a Instant Glow Facial and it was amazing. My clinician was Arianna. She was so gentle with my face. Arianna described the treatment before hand. It felt like warm rain onmy skin. Then after the laser treatment Arianna placed a Jetsetter mask on my face and omg that felt so good. And after the treatment I had to get the Jetsetter mask because I loved how it felt on my skin.

LOVE this place and officially my go to for laser hair removal services! The nurses and front desk staff are professional, kind, and considerate.This was my first time so I was a bit nervous but my nurse, Peyton, made sure I was feeling at ease and walked me through the procedure step by step. Erica who works at the front desk is also wonderful and makes the scheduling quick and easy. I can’t wait to be back!

They staff here is friendly but friendly only does so much. I have completed 5 out of 10 sessions and every single treatment was done differently. Some leaving out certain parts some leaving out whole areas. The biggest problem they have is scheduling. I had to cancel last minute, which is on me. But they had no other appointments at that time for eight weeks. Which when the sessions are time sensitive is just so disappointing. They are nice girls but really not worth the money considering how much haste it can be and the inconsistency. I believe they hide majority of the bad reviews but I wish someone would have left a review like this to warn me. If you have a busy life, value consistency or want solutions to problems this my not be a good place for you. From my experience, paying 5,000, this is not worth it at all

I love this place, the whole staff here are lovely friendly. The place is very clean and organized.I feel welcome and receive pretty good attention in every appointment, about the service that i bought I think it’s one of the best self investment that I got.Their esthetician/ laser expert or whatever they call their personal they are just very friendly and they are well trained. They know what they’re doing and they are doing it awesome in my experience.I got almost half of my treatments and I can tell that my hair are thinner and less hair than before.I recommend one of my cousins and she loves this place as much as I do.Thanks for your amazing job..

Messed up the scheduling and Terrible customer service about itI left in tears. I was told someone in charge would call me within a day or two but no one called for about a week until I called them again.I ended up asking for a refund, and they refused to refund the membership fee even though no service other than the promotional facial was received.Ended up paying almost $1000 for a facial: I would consider this business model a scam!!There are too many better med spas to spend another dime here!

I went in for my Xeomin appointment today and I absolutely loved every moment of it! The patient care coordinator Kamila, was super sweet and welcoming as soon as I walked in. Nurse Kwedi did my procedure and she made me feel so comfortable! She had me laughing the whole time even though I was initially super nervous. She was AMAZING and I will definitely request her again!

LaserAway has been nothing short of amazing. The clinicians at this location are so patient, thorough, kind hearted and answered any question I had regarding the service I got. I had miss Jerrayne for my clear and brilliant treatment the other day and I was so happy with how precise she was throughout the entire treatment. She explained what to expect before and after the treatment, of my worries went away shortly thereafter. Wonderful experience and will definitely be going back. 💕

The people in Laser Away in Clarendon is amazing everyone is super gentle and friendly the front desk is always up to help and they receive you with a drink of your choice, (a tasty coffee in my case) the nurses are also gentle and make you feel comfortable and confident all the time.I am getting laser in my underarm for the first time and I already love it I saw the results immediately since day one and the procedure is super quick and it doesn’t hurt at all, 100% recommended.

They are great! I was nervous because I have a darker skin tone but they have talked me through the entire process and made me feel comfortable with getting it. I’ve already done two (about to do three) treatments and I’m loving it. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. They are so nice and welcoming! I have already recommended this place to all of my coworkers!

I’ve gone to this location 3 times now & am always greeted be friendly welcoming staff. The nurses I’ve had have always made me feel very comfortable during my laser hair removal sessions & I really like the results so far. I also like how they have an updated laser that shoots out cold hair to help cancel out the pain vs at other places I have tried where it does not & made the experience very painful.

I was a bit nervous as this was my first time getting both procedures done, however, she immediately put me at ease with her kind personality and patience with my questions. I purchased a package of six IPL sessions and Ive now completed three. Mirielsa has been my nurse for all three sessions, and shes been fantastic. She always checks to make sure I havent had any changes to my health and makes the experience as comfortable as possible. She performs the procedure efficiently and smoothly, explains what shes doing, and reviews follow up care. LOVE this place. The nurses are professional and very concerned about your comfort. They want you to have the easiest possible laser experience and go above and beyond to make these sessions painless. The laser tech really does the job! I have dark coarse hair on lighter skin and see results after every session.

Melody did my Clear and Brilliant facial and she was AMAZING! She’s so knowledgeable and sweet, I was nervous coming in but she talked me through the whole thing and made me feel super comfortable. She was also gentle and worked fast, will definitely be coming to her again for my next treatment!

My experience at Laseraway was AMAZING! I got my weekly self-care facial called the Instant Glow Facial and it felt so good! My nurse Jarrayne did a Phenomenal Job, she was so gentle and answered all of my questions! 10/10 would recommend this place for the Instant Glow Facial for those days when your skin is looking and feeling dull! Great way to kill any breakout trying to happen and zap those acne causing bacteria off your face!

I visited this location for the first time today after having been to a Southern California location a number of times in the past, and it was a consistently good experience (actually, even better tbh)! The front desk staff were really helpful and friendly and the nurse who took care of me, Veronica, was honestly the best I’ve ever worked with. Can’t review my full results just yet but the experience itself was great, efficient, and even a little fun? I felt listened to and supported in getting exactly what I wanted rather than just another name in the appointment list.

I want to say that I went two times for my CoolSculpting treatments and was lovely. All the staff were so patient with me, explaining every step and very professional. Is the perfect place for relaxing and feeling beautiful. I already have my 3rd treatment booked. The staff helped me to find the best appointment for me!

The Laseraway facility located in Arlington, Virginia seems to be having scheduling issues. Out of the five appointments I’ve made, three of them have been either canceled or rescheduled. I have an upcoming appointment on Dec 9th, 2023, and Im beginning to feel anxious about the possibility of it being canceled or rescheduled with their new reason as well.

The customer service at the Arlington location is always so wonderful! My results have been great, I definitely would recommend LaserAway to everyone :)

I went in for a Fire and Ice Facial a few days ago. I didn’t know what to really expect but nurse Melody and nurse Veronica really gave me in-depth knowledge behind the facial I was getting. It was extremely relaxing and I noticed my skin glowing for the next few days. The girls in the front are always so welcoming and sweet. I can’t wait to go back!

Ask for Veronica if you want Xeomin injections! Shes awesome, and does a great job. I will absolutely be coming back. The front desk staff were great about squeezing me in when there was a call out (normally this place is booked up for weeks and is difficult to get an app). I already recommended this business to a bunch of friends.

This is my first time getting laser and I was EXTREMELY nervous due to being scared of the pain and also just being a woman of color and reading that laser has not always been favored/good for our community. After doing my research and finally just deciding to go for it I am happy I chose Laser Away! From start to finish every person Ive come in contact with from initial phone call to front desk to the 2 NPs whom did my services have been so informative and eased my anxiousness. As an Operations Manager I also pay very close attention to customer service as I am really big on it inside and outside of work and the customer service is definitely on point! Can’t wait for my next treatments!!

Clean and modern facility with pleasant staff. The nurse was very careful and informative during my visit. I have 7 more Brazilian and underarm treatments and added the leg package. The results so far are exactly what they tell you and I couldn’t be more excited about the end result. I would recommend shaving (not trimming) and ensuring there is limited product on the areas being treated. Meaning no deodorant and light moisturizer for the skin. The procedure was not completely painless but is no where near the pain threshold of waxing and no after math of ingrown hairs like waxing.

Went to laseraway to get Botox for my first time, I’ve never been to a facility like this and I was really impressed. It was clean, cute and everyone was extremely kind and professional. The girl, MK, who checked me in was very friendly and answered any questions I had while I was waiting. Mirielsa was who injected me and she and another nurse Blossom were very thorough at explaining the whole process before hand to make me feel comfortable, and I hardly felt the needle when she actually did the Botox! I would definitely recommend LaserAway to my friends and I can’t wait to try more treatments from them

The pain is unbearable. The cost was almost 3k for underarms and bikini. They advertise as “ pain free “ which is extremely subjective. This is by far the worst pain I’ve experienced from a cosmetic procedure and I’ve done many things so that’s saying a lot. I’ve had laser hair removal at other places and the results compared are the same if not better at the other places in the DMV. I was oversold on the fact that it was “ completely painless “ and some type of high tech very sophisticated can’t get anywhere else machine which is just not true.After you purchase your package what they don’t tell you is that you now need to buy numbing cream which they give you the option to buy from the store. I wouldn’t recommend this as it didn’t work for me at the 4% lidocaine which is what they say they provide. If you want “ BLT” numbing cream it’s $150. I actually had to get a medical doctor involved from another practice to help me with advice for this because Laser Away is basically just a med spa and there’s not anyone available with real medical authority to help you.Overall they use loophole subjective words like “ pain free “ then try to charge hundreds of dollars extra for numbing cream that is mandatory in my opinion if doing certain areas like the bikini area. This review is an honest review of my personal experience at Laser Away.The place is clean and cute

I had fillers for lips and cheeks done and the whole experience was unpleasant and results were equal to none. I spent over $1600 and very unhappy with the results. The lip filler is non existing and when I went for a touch up they told me that the filler created a bump and that it needs to be dissolved. Due to having plans to be out of town a few days after that visit, I couldn’t do it and they promised to call back to arrange an appointment but haven’t heard back. A month later the undissolved bump is still there and my lips feel flatter than before I went. The person that did my cheeks seemed that she just started doing this and was definitely inexperienced and when I explained that I don’t see any results or that it looked uneven she blamed it that I’m naturally uneven. She kept texting the actual registered nurse to get answers while I’m next to her to ask her questions which is a proof that she’s inexperienced and not registered to do work on people. On top of all this, one of the front desk employees was extremely rude to me and accused me of not wanting to pay where I had my card on file but due to her ineffective communication of the price of fillings her response was unprofessional and rude. Honestly I was new in town and wanted a place I can trust and get results and get my moneys worth but none of this happened at Laser Away. I wouldn’t trust them for any filling services with unlicensed staff and terrible to no results. Never ever going back and definitely don’t recommend this place.

I was offered a big discount for the laser hair removal session plus 10 free units of botox but could not get an appointment after paying in full because my representative disappeared. Then after weeks of figuring out, the representative finally reached back and offered a full refund. However its been another 2 months and I still have not gotten anything.

I’ve been wanting to get laser hair removal for quite some time and was very excited to see that LaserAway is opening nearby. The company has an extensive social media presence and I was drawn in by the diversity in clients demonstrated in their online presence.I entered my information online and within minutes, I got a phone call from a rep. I explained that as a Black woman it’s important to me to know the work of the person doing the treatment and what type of lasers would be used. I explained that I wanted to first see the facility (as it is obviously incomplete, I see it when I walk around my neighborhood) and meet the staff - you know, because this is a medical treatment!The rep told me that that “isn’t how they do things” and first I would need to sort out the payment, fill out the online medical forms, and do a virtual consult. From there, I’d come in to be treated and that were “filling appointments fast” and that the bundles would be ending today.Excuse me, what?I have never on earth, in any country (and I’ve lived in seven), paid for a treatment at a medical spa BEFORE an in-person consultation that involved a tour of the facility and meeting the staff - even during the pandemic. I explained to her that I was uncomfortable with this and would prefer to schedule an in-person consultation that I’d be more than happy to pay for that consult as it aligns with industry norms.She continued with the above talking points and I directly told her that this conversation was becoming frustrating to me. I made it very clear that isn’t about the money, this is about the principle - I am not undergoing medical treatment sight unseen. The rep then began to say that she was “documenting my account” and that she could just schedule a consult once I do the medical registration.No thank you, keep it. I will never give LaserAway my money. The rep was rude, condescending, and attempted to bully me into a decision. What a horrible first impression of a place that isn’t even open yet.

SKETCHY BUSINESS MODEL AND LOCATION NOT OPEN. I just completed a phone call with a rep (with a Florida phone number) and from that 9.5 minute call there is NO WAY I will go here for any kind of service. After entering my information for an advertised promotion I received 2 emails, 2 phone calls and a text message within 30 minutes. The second day of phone calls I had time to chat and did so with a nice gal by the name of Elizabeth. The business model does not give pricing unless you have a Zoom consultation. They then want you to chose your services, decide how you are going to pay, and commit to the services PRIOR to entering their facility. Bananas! I told the rep their company policy will not work for me as I want an in person consultation at the location prior to committing to anything. Secondly, Id like to meet the person who is going to stick needles in my face, know their name, see other work theyve done, and have an opportunity to look them up. It is their policy to NOT do that. Perhaps that may work for them and their clients to date but if I am going to take the leap into any sort of cosmetic surgery their model will not work for me. This sounds like a business that is capitalizing on the populations desire for these services. Perhaps the business model works for others but not for this girl. This location will not be open until Mid-November per Elizabeth on the phone. I asked if I could make an appointment for then; seeing as I am not in a rush. She was trying to pressure me into making a decision now, site unseen of the location or provider, or even pricing. This is all contrary to what is on their website.

This is one of two LaserAway facilities I have visited. I am very pleased with the consistent results of the treatments received. Veronica performed an IPL treatment in April and I immediately noted a lightening of my face as well as a reduction in sun and aging spots. I would do this treatment again!

I filled out an online question form and within minutes received about 7 calls back to back and emails from California . It was almost like the sales rep were fighting to get to me first(on a Sunday evening ) . I spoke to someone in California who then cancelled my zoom meeting I scheduled for Monday because we were already on the phone. Here it is 9am and I’m starting to receive calls from their company’s once again. The woman I spoke to was very sweet but I found it sketchy that they basically wanted to set up an appointment without me seeing anyone in person and to actually pay beforehand .

Everyone that works here are so delightful! You are treated so nicely from the moment you enter through that door. The nurses also take the time to explain the procedure and treat you during it! ♥️

The website lists Arlington, VA, Tysons, VA, and Washington DC, all of which do not actually exist when I call to make an appointment. This is extremely frustrating and frankly, misleading marketing.
