ABSOLUTELY ENJOYED MY EXPERIENCE!! The space is very nice, team is very knowledgeable, and all of their jewelry was beautiful!! I unfortunately cannot remember my piercers name but he is a tall dude (at least compared to me) with a beard and nostril piercings! He was very charismatic, made me feel relaxed and safe in the space, and was very thorough with the piercing procedure. He explained everything to me during the process, and very thoroughly checked the placement of my mantis piercings (and had two other opinions) before sticking a needle in me. I’m not from Atlanta, and was only visiting for the week but couldn’t be happier with my experience and the results!! If you’re in the area I 100% recommend Kolo!! (Please ignore how dry my face is 🙂‍↔️)

This place is an absolute scam, I purchased a nose ring priced well over $200 and was overall in love with it…until it fell out of my nose two days later in my sleep..upon further inspection the base needle of the stud had simply broken off. I’ve had hot topic jewelry last longer and hold together way better than the “high quality” jewelry this place is trying to sell you. I’m hoping to save someone their time and money. Do not make my same mistake.Editing in response: I stand by my review, my experience is exactly what it was and I have the right to speak on it. The provided picture can speak for itself. I wouldn’t have wanted a replacement jewelry piece even if they had offered. I stand by the fact that there’s hundreds of other places, with way more convenience and quality jewelry that will last you years to come. There’s a difference between wear and tarnish vs. Being misfitted in my jewelry (the lady knew the bar was too long for my nose and claimed she would leave it in case of swelling despite my piercing having being done several years prior) AND it breaking. Definitely recommend!!!I was a ball of nerves walking into Kolo to get my nose pierced, but their comforting atmosphere and team kept me at ease and from literally running out the door. Kyle was my piercer and the absolute best. He was very relaxed and personable but also professional. He told me exactly what he was going to do and made sure to show/explain everything he’d be using. He also positioned the dot (where the piercing would be) in a good place for my nose, but was also open to me wanting to shift it a bit to where I thought it’d look best. I’m not one for needles, but the piercing was quick, easy, and no problem with such a sweet guy, team and amazing atmosphere! Thanks Kolo!

Kolo is great! After having a poor experience with another shop in town, I turned to Kolo for my most recent piercings and jewelry purchases. They are appointment only but if you call ahead they can usually fit you in same day. Everyone that works there made me immediately feel comfortable and welcome, which was so appreciated. Will be back soon!

I had a stud on both sides of my nose for the past few years, but went to Kolo when one of them came out to get a hoop to put in place of my lost one.I made an appt for the next day, found what I wanted (at a competitive price) and the very nice bearded piercer was kind enough to put it in my nose. So gracious, and I’m super happy about it. I highly recommend this shop.

So far so good! Came here for lobe piercings over the weekend and it was a great experience - so professional and clean. Kyle was super patient and talked me through everything which helped my nerves a lot. Definitely would recommend Kolo to anyone who wants their piercing done right!

My septum was pierced by Kyle and I absolutely love it! The place was very accommodating even after we were VERY late 😅. It was clean and very atmospheric. The tribal art was a nice touch and the music was pleasant. My piercing was done very quickly and the placement is perfect. I definitely will be back.

Amazing experience! i could tell everything was very clean. called in and they had me getting piercing 2 hours later! piercing was quick and my piercer (gigi) was nice. everyone on staff was great!

I had my ears stretched by Kyle. He is so awesome and nice and professional. I let my ears close from a 00 at 22(?) And now, 7 years later, I stretched my left ear which Kyle found for me was a 2g and now he stretched the ear to a 0g. I have to wait at least 5 months to go up to a 00g, so I can wear the plug piece I wanted so bad since I saw it on their online store.My best friend passed away in 2021 and her birthday was a few days before my appointment, so I am putting the matching plug in her vanity as her bday present. She would have loved this piece for all its unique qualities. Copper is my favorite metal and she was always stylish and her tastes aligned with mine.The jewelry is all handcrafted by artists and heavy in its weight. Im very pleased with my experience and will be coming back to see Kyle for the 00 stretch, my industrial, as well as my Christina piercing.

I was recommended Kolo by my coworker Teddy and I see why! The whole team is wonderful. Everyone was so kind, especially my piercer Gigi who helped keep me calm during my medusa piercing ! I recently came here to get two more ear piercings and had a great experience. My ear is feeling better and hurting less than previous piercings (done at a different shop in a different state) and Ill definitely be coming back for any future ones!

They were amazing! Me and my son got pierced together on a mom and son trip, and they answered all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable. The salon was extremely clean, and our new earrings look great!

First time for my daughter and I. I had my nose pierced and my daughter had her belly button pierced. I called in ahead of time. I spoke with Gigi and I was greeted with wonderful, energy and enthusiasm. They were able to see us both the same day as we arrived we were welcomed, and they were happy to have us. We felt very comfortable and very relaxed. GG also was our piercer and she did a fantastic job took all Anxieties away. She took her time lining up my daughters before she did the actual piercing. I can’t say enough positive things. The two gentleman that were there were very helpful at picking out our jewelry and upfront with everything. It’s very cozy inside has a nice waiting area and we were treated wonderful!! We will Go back for any other piercings and as far as GG she gets five stars all the way!! she did a fantastic job super super sweet super super confident. Thank you so much for a great experience for a mother daughter piercing experience!! And when you’re done heading next-door to the corner Tavern for the best hamburger, you will ever eat.

I had a great experience at Kolo. Paid to park right outside and was let in at my appointment time. There was a little wait after I signed my waiver but the appointment in total took less than 1 hour. I got my second lobe piercing and the piercer was friendly and a perfectionist which I liked. He didn’t pierce until we both liked the location. I would recommend Kolo to anyone and if I got anymore piercings they are where I’d go. Great experience

Gigi is amazing! She pierced me 15 years ago and I came back today to get a daith piercing. There was very little pain at all when she pierced it and I honestly haven’t felt any pain since I left a few hours ago. It was super quick and she made me feel comfortable through the whole appointment. Her and Adam both answered all my questions thoroughly which I appreciate. The shop is super clean and well kept. The jewelry and the actual piercing were very reasonably priced! Once this one heals, I’ll definitely be going back to get more added to my other ear. Thanks for such a great experience!

I had a great experience getting my helix done here! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They will make the experience fun, safe, clean, and not at all scary, even for a first-timer. Much more affordable than expected.

Kolo is a amazing Piercing Shop. Ive called to make an appointment the same day and the customer service was amazing. Kyle, OMG, he was definitely amazing. He tells you the process and exactly what hes going to do. The septum piercing was painless. The shop itself does requires you to give them a call before, even if you are there to look at jewleries. The shop is very organized and clean and has so many jewleries. You literally get what you pay for, in a good way of course. Ive even scheduled my wife to get her piercings. Of course you can go to Tattoo parlors to get piercings but trust me when I say this, get it done over here. It was the best experience I ever had.

It’s always a pleasure going to this establishment. There are so many artifacts in history of art. The people are very professional. Can’t wait to go back.

I went to Kolo recently for my nose piercing. I have seen this place for years, and very familiar with Little Five Points area. So, I knew where I was going once I decided I was ready to pierce! Kyle did my piercing. I had such a pleasant experience. I was nervous because it’s been years since I had a piercing, but Kyle was very warm and explained everything. The process is very sanitary as well, which also helped to ease my nerves. Everything was sterilized and he changed gloves at every step during the process. There was very brief pain (more like pressure) as the piercing happened. But, as soon as he was done, Nothing! I have been following the care instructions and my nose has been healing nicely. I am very pleased. I’m already recommending Kolo to my friends :) Thanks Kyle, Thanks Kolo!!

So I called hoping to get a same day appointment which was easier than I thought it’d be! I was in there probs 45 min after I called. I got a helix piercing and everyone was very kind. Their jewelry selection is amazing and good quality. I was a bit nervous since I’d gotten 2 mid helix piercings on my other ear by a different piercer in Atlanta, and it took forever for those to heal. At times it wasn’t healing properly (probs just my fault) so I was praying this one wouldn’t turn out like that. It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve gotten my helix pierced by this very nice man (I am bad with names), and he explained everything he was doing in detail which definitely helped my anxiety. My helix has been healing so well just by following his cleaning instructions but I really think his piercing skills helped as well. The piercing was painless! My helix doesn’t even hurt much anymore and it literally feels fully healed already. The jewelry I got for it is also very nice (I believe 18k gold) so overall I had a great experience here! Definitely coming back for more piercings thank u guys :)

Ive been going to kolo on and off for 14 years. Ive gotten multiple ear piercings by Gigi, recently had my septum changed to a new ring, and got my nipple pierced. She is the best!

Came here for my daughter second ear lobe piercing. Just wanted it to be done right. Nice and easy no pain at all. Friendly service and quick to get an appointment. We would recommend them for sure. Loved the fact they didnt let anyone in without an appointment.If we had a con it would be it took 45mins after our appointment time to get seen. Other than that great.Thanks

One of the smoothest piercings Ive gotten! It was super quick, they have really nice jewelry to choose from. I took my boyfriend to get an eyebrow piercing, he loves it a lot and I got a nostril piercing and I love mine as well. The staff was really kind and the aftercare instructions they give are super easy to follow. I highly recommend!

Awesome shop! Employees are so nice and kind. I got a VCH piercing. The lady who did it was so kind and professional. She talked me through the whole process. Quick, fairly painless. Reasonable prices. Lots of jewelry to choose from. They are appointments only. You have to call when you get there to be let in. The place is clean and well kept. I will definitely come back here to trade out jewelry or if I want another piercing.

Our 13 yo daughter got her lobes pierced here and Kyle was amazing! He was so thorough and spent time making sure she was comfortable about what he was doing. She was nervous, as she had her lobes pierced before but they got infected and closed up. Kyle was reassuring and kind and she couldnt be happier with the outcome!The studio was clean and had all the safety precautions in place. Highly recommended!

Been wanting to go here for 3 years now, but never did because I try to stay far from Atlanta area as possible.I have three conch piercings (done elsewhere) that originally had captive bead rings in them, but for some reason the beads would fall out constantly.(was told once the bead was the wrong size for the ring by the other piercer at the shop I had it done at.) I got so tired of it, I took them out and put a thread jewelry in it so the hole wouldn’t close up. Finally decided to go to kolo for jewelry replacement, and ended up getting a third helix piercing since I been wanting to come here for so long. Kyle did a wonderful job! He did the helix and placed my new conch jewelry in (got rings that were bead-less).We chatted as if we been buddies for years, and he was patient and knowledgeable. Not to mention not a creep like other piercers I’ve been to...would gladly drive in Atlanta’s crazy roads again to come here.

Kyle was the best. He was so patient and understanding. Got my septum pierced. Went in on a Friday at 3pm and there was a 45 minute wait. But its totally chill. Jewelry is real and therefore cost real money so bring your coins. Staff there are very knowledgeable. So if you have any questions or concerns this is the place to go.

This place is amazing. So very professional and clean and knowledgeable. I came here to get my daith piercing to help alleviate my migraines and Gigi was fabulous. I have been coming to Kolo for almost 20 years and I must say I would never go anywhere else. I’ve had multiple piercings and GiGi has always taken great care of me. I never write reviews, but this place deserves praise! I came in with my mom to get my daith pierced on August 14th and it was the best experience I have ever had with a piercing. So quick and smooth, and they are so safe with Covid going on. My piercing is healing better than ANY of my other piercings, which have all been done other places and rejected or never healed even after many years. I definitely will drive the hour+ to come back here again many more times because it is so worth it. Not to mention they have such a large jewelry selection, it will make your head spin! Ask for Gigi!!Edit! Came back again on 12/29 for a septum piercing and it went AMAZING! Best piercing shop ever and best piercer ever. Do not ever go anywhere else, I know I wont be. My daith is also healing better than any piercing ever has before. Love this shop and its people

PLEASE COME HERE! I originally had an awful experience at ROWAN piercing where they embedded the earring into my ear! They told me to go to urgent care but I came to kolo instead! GIGI was amazing and talked me through everything. I chose to have her save my ear piercing and she did just that! I am all healed up and I’m so glad I came here where they fixed my ear and provided knowledge that every piercer should know.

I got a rook piercing a month ago. When I first got it done I made it known I was concerned about how deep inside my ear it was compared to how I normally see rook piercings. I couldn’t even see it without a mirror and pulling on my ear to catch a view. I was told that it was in a normal placing. Now a month later I had to get it removed it started to keloid due to the placement and the bar being so short the balls were continuing pressing on my ear. It took two piercers to remove my piercing because of the angle and how deep in my ear the piercing was placed. They asked where I got it and were shook because obviously KOLO is known to be an amazing place for piercings and they said the piercer should’ve known the placement was too deep inside the ear. Unfortunately my experience wasn’t great and I’m out of money for a terrible piercing

I’ve been here twice, the first time about six months ago for my 16-year-old’s septum piercing, which healed perfectly, and the second time a few days ago for second ear lobe piercings for my 13-year-old daughter and me. Both times the staff was so helpful, kind, and professional. They do a fantastic job helping clients through the process, making sure you are comfortable and that the placement is just right. They’re also so patient and knowledgeable when answering questions. They have an amazing jewelry case and stock soap and saline wash for piercing care.

Love Kolo! Theyre clean, professional, friendly, and hilarious. Got a piercing a year ago and had some trouble with it, made an appointment and came in and they fixed it right away. They sell a wide variety of quality jewelry too.

Thank you so much for helping me! I was on a girls trip and my belly ring broke. I went to one place and the turned me away saying I need an appointment but the problem was Im not from ATL and had 2 hours before I needed to be at the airport to go home. I called Kolo asking if was possible for me to look at jewelry and explained my situation they said yes🙌🏾🙏🏾! I went it and was greeted by a smile from the lady I talked to (im so sad I dont remember her name, literally a beautiful soul) She told me where to look, how much the jewelry would be, and how long the sterilizing process would take. Literally the longest part was me staring at all their beautiful options. Shoutout to Kyle (the piercer) for getting me in and out and also hating the snowy Chicago season 🤣. Overall great experience and great vibes!

They have given me three perfect piercings that I absolutely love! (2 eyebrow 1 lip) They have healed perfectly fine with no sign of anything negative..no bumps no irritation no migrating...they are all perfectly straight and aligned properly..best piercers hands down!

They were able to squeeze me in for a same-day appointment to get a dermal piercing removed. The staff was really friendly, professional and made the experience less nerve-racking. I will definitely come back here when I’m ready to get another piercing.

Kyle is the best! Honestly everyone in the shop is kind, thorough and helpful. The shop itself is very clean and comfortable but I keep coming back because of the quality. I’ve had my nostril pierced 5 different times. Kyle pierced my nostril a little over a month ago and it’s been the smoothest healing process I have ever had in my life. When my daughter asked last year about getting her ears pierced, she informed me that the word at school was that you want the needle, not the gun. So, once she was sure she was ready, we headed to Kolo -- and it did not disappoint. Its a very calming, professional atmosphere. She loved looking at the variety of jewelry (most of it not at all for her, but fascinating, nonetheless) and was thrilled with what she picked -- titanium with a teal gem. Gigi was absolutely wonderful. She explained what she was doing, gave very clear, kind instructions and spoke directly to my daughter, keeping her calm and laughing the entire time. She was honest about what she was going to feel and when, and cued when it was a good time to take a deep breath and let it out. The piercing looks perfect, and the care instructions are clear and as simple as can be. We so enjoyed meeting Gigi and the team at Kolo. My kiddo left feeling comfortable and joyful.

Got a fourth lobe piercing here yesterday. Best piercing experience I’ve ever had. I have 9 piercings done by people all over and Kolo is hands down my favorite now. Extremely sanitary, my piercer explained all the steps he was doing prior to the piercing. The piercing itself was easy and almost painless. I highly reccomend anyone to Kolo!!

As a black person that is highly intuitive and spiritual I would not recommend this place to anyone that possesses these attributes. My spirit was very uncomfortable and I felt very unwelcomed. I was ready to spend good money on a piercing because I heard great things about the quality of jewelry and cleanliness of the establishment. But I would never spend a dime of my money in a place were my kind is clearly not wanted. Highly Would NOT Recommend

Gigi and Adam are amazing, as always. I want to thank them for being consistently there for me whenever I’m ready for a piercing. Or three. I would never dream of going anywhere else. They’re the best of the best, with the most spectacular jewelry choices you could ever find.Gigi is fantastic at what she does, and a great listener if your piercing is fueled by just the simple need of wanting pretty and memorable pieces pierced. At this point, I consider visiting the shop as therapy.

I’ve gotten various piercings here over the years and they are still my preferred piercers. Most recently, I got my septum pierced. The piercing was quick and relatively painless. The environment is very clean and nicely decorated. Everyone is informative and kind too. I love it even more now that you have to make an appointment! This has drastically reduced the wait time.

Initially had a reservation for my girl and I to get daith piercings, we wanted to be in the room with each other for our first experience, we were informed that we could not and each person would have to wait outside until their appt time. So we cancelled and booked at another shop that was able to cater to what we wanted

The best!!! i had some self pierced studs stuck in my lobes for like 4 yrs & they helped me cut them out. everyone is so kind and supportive. they also walked me thru different options for replacement earrings too. i love my new hoops. thanks y’all 🥲 (i wish i could give individual shoutouts but i’ll update next time i visit)

I love Kolo & Gigi is such an experienced piercing artist! The prices are high but its because youre paying for experience. Went in recently to switch out jewelry & Gigi really worked with me to get the look I want but make sure it was still comfortable and safe w/ my anatomy

This is easily among the best piercing places. Prices are fair and the quality and knowledge of the staff is top shelf. They also have a wonderful selection of unique earrings for various holes in various body locations and can help you find what you’re looking for. The facility is super clean and sterile and the staff is efficient and friendly. You need to call ahead and make an appointment and might need to put down a deposit that goes towards the piercing service you select. Over all wonderful experience, I’ve been here multiple times for different piercings and will continue to come back as well as recommend.

Amazing service! Very knowledgeable piercers and clean rooms. The organization from the way they see customers to the organization of the jewelry (which is always unique) is excellent. I paid a lot on jewelry at a famous piercing shop in California and my jewelry caused me to break out. I have never gotten a single piece of jewelry from Kolo that made me have a bad reaction. I got my nose pierced there and it healed beautifully. 10/10

The place is clean and the employees are professional, friendly and knowledgeable in what you need and want. They are willing to help you if you are indecisive and your piercing experience is personal and private. You do have to make an appointment but once you arrive the wait isnt long. If you are a first timer like me you would love the experience.

I’ve been to Kolo several times to purchase Jewlery and have them switch it out for me. People at shops like this have a reputation for being lacking in empathy & patience. Kyle is the exception to this rule. He recently pierced my daith and he was funny, gentle, patient, and comforting. My piercing looks great and there was zero pain. 11/10 recommend Kyle.

I got my tragus pierced here about a month ago. I hadnt gotten a new piercing in around 10 years so I was a bit anxious! My experience at Kolo was excellent, from the environment (super clean and organized, easy to find the jewelry youre looking for, a range of high-quality pieces for sensitive skin types, etc.) to the actual process of getting the piercing. I was really impressed with how smooth/easy the whole experience was. Also, my piercing has healed great - followed the aftercare instructions closely, and after about a month my piercing feels nearly completely healed already. My go to favorite people to come to for my piercing needs and trust me I travel a lot, I’m more than willing to wait to get back with these guys and gal. I came in to start my ear gauging journey and it was easier then expected, pain scale was literally like a 3 at most and the best part if you’re looking for the same process THEY ALL HAVE GAUGES AS WELL so that made the experience a lot easier. They’ve also performed my nostril piercing too, be careful though, the experience is so good it’ll keep you coming back 10/10

Got my septum pierced today by Kyle I think his name was and it was the smoothest piercing Ive gotten Id definitely come back for another. Lee, was amazing and very helpful. Id come back just to chat with her. Super clean, my piercer changed his gloves like three times everytime he did something different. Great place.

Excellent service! All staff were masked at all times and the interior of the shop was spotless. They took precautions by only allowing a certain number of people inside the shop to maintain social distancing.My piercer Gigi was very professional and had superb bedside manner. Even though I was nervous, I felt very safe and relaxed in her capable hands. I love my new piercing and would definitely recommend this shop to others! Tip well!

Finally got the nerves to get an industrial piercing. Kyle was my piercer and did an awesome job. I was nervous because of my ear shape and I was concerned about my glasses being an issue. I addressed my concern with Kyle and he said that he understood and it wasnt going to be a problem. I would like to mention Lee at the front desk. In my opinion, she was the nicest person there. She was very informative, patient, and kind. Sometimes you just need additional information, advice, and suggestions regardless of how much research you do on your own and she provided all of that. She gave me her input but then said Im going to let you talk to the piercer just to make sure. She initially went to Gigi and told her my concerns. Gigi NEVER came to address me. I heard her tell Lee that she would do my piercing but she had more piercings to do first. Her tone was as if she was irritated and had an attitude. She wasnt friendly at all. I got the same impression of Adam. He wasnt helpful and acted as if he didnt want to be bothered and was not friendly at all. I live almost an hour away from Kolo Piercing. I decided to go there because of the reviews. They are on the pricey side compared to other establishments but I dont mind paying for great service. The reviews that I read were the main reason that I chose Kolo. Poor customer service is a pet peeve of mine. For me, the customer service just wasnt there and I honestly didnt feel welcomed. I would rate my piercing 5 stars, Lee at the front desk 5 stars, but the establishment based on professionalism, customer service, friendliness, etc I would rate 1 star.Also, I would like to mention that using profanity when conducting business with customers is never ok in my opinion. Its unprofessional, unnecessary, rude, and disrespectful. I was disappointed and expected a better experience.Update: 2/23/23 Reply to owners response: Wow this response just validates my review. She was talking loud enough for me to hear and I’ll say it again She (Gigi) was rude and she wasn’t the only one! As for being in good spirits when I left…I was. I finally committed to getting a piercing that I’d wanted for quite some time and like I said Kyle did an awesome job on the piercing. I mentioned coming back to get my jewelry replaced when it was time. I wanted to get the jewelry replace by the same person that pierced me and be informed on aftercare with the new jewelry etc. No worries though I’ll NEVER return to Kolo Piercing. You said that you hope that I find a shop that matches my needs and sensitivities better. It’s not about sensitivity. It’s about being respected and being valued as a customer. I really should have taken into the consideration the reviews on the rudeness and how some people of color didn’t feel welcomed.

The woman who did my piercing was amazing! She made the whole experience relaxing and was nice and personable and extremely knowledgeable. I did have to wait a bit even though I had made an appointment, but I don’t mind waiting for professionalism and cleanliness. Will definitely be back for future piercings!

Not like the crew needs my review , but I have never felt prettier than in the hands of Kyle & Gigi and Adams very professional demeanor. I love body mods an as someone who is allergic to cheaper metals I havent had a lot of luck with piercings. I feel safe and secure with the whole staff here and theyre all stunning. This is my favorite place! The entire staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I was nervous but the pain was minimal due to the fact that these people know what they are doing and will have you breathe through the process. Also, there is a large variety if jewelry to choose from. The shop is very clean and they do appointments only. This allows you to stay your distance from strangers.

I absolutely love Kolo and will only go to them for my piercings. I have extremely sensitive skin and have never had any issues with their jewelry. My first time coming here was on Sunday october 30th. This place is very clean & it’s very chill & quiet. They are very professional!! I got my nose pierced by Kyle & it only lasted like 5 seconds & it barely hurt ( I was stressed for nothing lol). He was very professional & explained everything to me & talked me through it. I have been to this shop a few times and they are great every single time! Gigi did my most recent piercing and she was amazing. She talks you through the process and is super gentle and quick. I went here for my birthday to get a couple piercings and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I actually had initially gone to another place for my piercings but because i had a cocktail with my dinner the night before they turned me away. I’m honestly glad they did because Kolo was a great experience. The piercer walked me through every step of the process and talked to me before the piercing about the healing expectations for my anatomy which was really appreciated. It was well worth the drive to get there.Edit: I wanted to add that I was in on a Friday evening. They gradually got busier and my wait was about an hour I think but I didn’t mind at all. They’re busy for a reason! It’s a good shop. Many people in there were repeat customers. I had my nipples done and was more than happy to wait for my jewelry to get prepped and sterilized. Keep in mind that if you’re waiting and see someone who came in after you get seen first it’s for a reason.

The staff at Kolo are a great group of people. They made me feel welcome and were very helpful while I perused their selection of high quality jewelry. I walked out with exactly what I wanted, and I imagine I will be doing so again in the future.

I have been here multiple times for replacement cartilage earrings and I have always had a great experience!!Yesterday, I went here to get a second lobe piercing. The two ladies at the counter were super friendly and personable. They helped me pick out second lobe earrings that worked well for me. Kyle pierced my ears and he was super helpful in coaching me with appropriate breathing to stay calm and manage the pain.

I wanted both ears pierced. I chose this place because of location and reviews. First the door policy is off putting. You stand outside until your appointment time. Sometimes a little longer. Then you’re seated until called upon. Took 40 minutes in all to start my piercing process. The piercing was good. The lady was friendly and her way of doing things was A1. I wanted to upgrade my earring choice a few weeks later, Had to make another appointment. Wait outside. Wait inside. Finally I’m helped and purchased cz’s. Looked good in my ears but mad expensive in my opinion. Later I noticed my earrings sloped downward because the back fasteners are too long. Wanted that fixed. Again another appointment, etc. Long story short. Not the greatest experience.

They were clean, organized, and Kyle was really knowledgeable about why my piercing (done somewhere else) was swollen and was sinking into my ear. I liked how he explained the difference better quality jewelry and installed it for me.

Gigi and Adam are so awesome. Gigi helped me repair my bellybutton piercing. Literally felt very minimal pain and I had been so worried about it all day. I also bought some new plugs. Prices are high but you get what you pay for and that’s QUALITY. Thank you Gigi and Adam.

I have had all 8 of my ear piercings done here over 3 separate trips and I have plans to get 3 more piercings done here. Sweet staff that truly cares for their customers. Their piercers are so careful, tedious, and over all really nice people that are great at their jobs. Its expensive, but you really get what you pay for when it comes to this shop. High quality jewelry and very sanitary. Especially Kyle he has done most of my work and he makes you feel so comfortable while getting pierced.

I’ve been coming to Kolo for all my piercings for over a year now, and I’ve always had a great experience. They’re very ethical and clean! The store, the perusing stations, glass, etc. is always super clean. They’re very honest if you don’t have the anatomy for a piercing and won’t give you it anyways just for the money. I like how even though the rest of the state has dropped mandates for covid-19 precautions they’ve still strictly informed theirs.

Ive gotten a few piercings here and love this place. I recently got my conch and second holes in each earlobe. Adam and Gigi are great. Highly recommend. Def call ahead to make an appointment (not taking walk-ins during covid but good idea anyways).

I came here to get my high nostrils pierced after hearing tons of good things about this place, and I was not disappointed! The staff was very helpful and the entire shop had a quiet and serene atmosphere.Gigi did my piercings and she was so sweet and calming. Horribly rude and unprofessional. The bald guy at the front was very short and dry with me. He hardly explained anything to me when I asked about sizes for my piercing. I arrived on time for my appointment, yet every other person that walked through the door with an appointment AFTER mine, was attended to quickly. I only wanted a simple nose piercing, and so did the others that arrived later. I didn’t leave the shop until two hours after arriving. I felt like I was cast aside, until they suddenly remembered I was there. By the way they monitor the tips, you’d think the service would be better. I love my piercing and the guy who actually did the piercing was pretty nice and informative, otherwise, I will not be returning.

I went in tonight for my first ever piercing other than my ears that I had done as a child. The shop is extremely nice and was highly recommended by a few friends. They told me to ask for GIGI she was amazing and so kind. The wait was about 45 minutes but totally worth it. I highly recommend this piercing shop and all of them! 5 stars! I have been getting piercings for YEARS and this has been one of the best I have been to. Clean, precise and easy. They know that they are doing. They are knowledgeable and professional.

Quick, painless piercing and very clean. I appreciate the precautions they take with COVID. However, they need to improve on their appointment system. Their website never states that you must call to schedule an appoint nor can you schedule online. Scheduling online would make things easier and smoother instead of calling. In addition, they only allow you to come on, and no one else even if that person has a mask on and/or is fully vaccinated. I do not appreciate how they treated my significant other.

I love the selection of jewelry they have compared to the standard tattoo shop that does piercings too. I have had 2 piercings done at this place so far without any problems. I drive an hour out of my way because I know they will do a good job. You can also see that they use clean/sterile equipment and care about being clean in general. They have a nice store/space. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely love Kolo! Professionalism and safety is the upmost importance. Both piercers are deemed safe piercers by the Association of Professional Piercers.I drove an hour and a half just to have Gigi pierce my cartilage in my ear and she did such a wonderful job, that in less than a month I went back to have her pierce the same cartilage right up under the previous. Minimal swelling/pain and absolutely zero side effects. Premium quality jewelry too!

Ive been here many times. Adam (guy in the front who manages the shop) can be quite rude and unfriendly. He rushes people to make their jewelry decisions and tries to get people out of the store ASAP. I do however love the piercers, they are great at what they do.The shop has some pretty strict policies. Even if you arrive on time for your appointment they dont let you in, they lock the door and you have to wait outside until they are ready for you. So Ive experienced being on-time and still having to wait 20 min in the cold. They say youre not allowed to bring anyone with you, but they do make exceptions for other people all the time. My girlfriend bought me a piece of jewelry and they made her wait outside of the store, even though she was a paying customer. Theyd unlock the door, collect her payment, lock the door and go back inside, then come out for receipt/signature (and there was no other people in the waiting area of the shop, so I just find it extremely unaccommodating and disrespectful to a customer willing to pay for services).

Super organized and clean shop with fantastic protocols (appts only, masks required, call for entry). I was a little late and overheated upon arrival which didnt help my nerves but Adam and Kyle are so kind and lovely to chat with and made me feel chill before getting my first piercing in 20+ years. I got my helix done here last May and Kyle was an incredibly accommodating and professional piercer through the whole process. Everything is proven sterile before piercing and their wide selection of jewelry is gorgeous and offers great pricing. 10/10 awesome experience

Gigi is the best piercer ever. Her staff is very friendly. Their hygiene and sanitation precautions have always been outstanding. Current covid-19 precautions seems on par with a place that handles human tissue . So keep in mind currently only person with the actual piercing appointment is allowed in.

I got two ear lobe piercings and one nose piercing at Kolo in 2019 and 2021. The staff is professional and knowledgeable. I had no hygiene or healing issues with any of my piercings and the jewelry is high quality. Definitely worth the price!

I got my nose pierced a few years ago but it closed when I took it out for an interview. I went back to Kolo because the team there is great. Now...Im back in the game with my piercing again.

When I moved from Michigan to Georgia, I was looking for a new place to get my piercing work done. I have been pierced at Kolo twice and I refuse to go anywhere else. This was my third experience at Kolo, and I found them to be as professional and accommodating as they have always been. They have their reputation for a reason and I have always felt very comfortable with them.

I got a neck dermal in North Carolina that started rejecting. I was so in love with my dermal! My piercing was so irritated and a bump was forming pushing the dermal out. I decided to come here and get it removed. I’m so glad I did !! It didn’t even hurt I was so surprised! I totally recommend this place for removals. Nice & clean environment and I got a same day appointment.

I gave this place two stars because I love April. She’s amazing! I’d come back, if there’s no wait, for her. However, I think they’re overpriced. The receptionist is not the best customer service agent; I’ve gotten pierced there a couple times, and he has absolutely zero warmth or anything. I also brought my brother in to get a simple lobe piercing and was told that it was going to be an hour. Next thing you know, two women came in AFTER us, and they were gonna get seen 45 minutes. WHAT? I took my liberated self over to Black-owned piercing shop across the street. Took less than ten minutes.

If I could give them more stars, I would in a heartbeat!! Ive gotten a few cartilage and lobe piercings from them before and had always had a great experience. Yesterday I went to get a daith and some more lobe piercings and had Alan. Words cannot describe how amazing he was. I am NOT good with needles, but he talked me through everything, was so informative about cleaning and aftercare, and made the process as calm and great as I couldve imagined it. Also...it barely hurt?? I now have all the piercings I want but would go back just because he was so good. I am happy beyond words with my piercings and the experience. Go to Kolo!

I had a great experience getting my bridge piercing today! I was so paranoid about it not turning out straight but my piercer obviously was not going to let that happen. They spent a good amount of time making sure she got my placement right and that just really went miles with me. Im glad I chose Kolo for my piercing!

I came in with a second nostril piercing done incorrectly and in soooo much pain. In less than 5 mins I was pain free. The process was so quick. I was told let my nose heal and come back to get pierced correctly. Today was the day!! I came and got my piercing and I couldn’t be happier. Excellent staff and service. The piercer is awesome and makes you feel sooooooo comfortable. She is very through. I will always come here.

Had about a 45 min wait even with an appt set up a week in advance but it was worth the wait. My 8 year old son got to pick from a large variety of earrings. The woman who did the piecing was amazing with him. He asked for it (the week prior thus the appointment) but after the first ear was done he wanted to back out. She assured him it would be worth it and he loved them as soon as she was done. I highly recommend Kolo!

Got my nose pierced there 3 years ago and that was a great experience! So naturally it was a no brainer that this would be my first and only choice for getting my tragus pierced. The experience was awesome. The place is clean, staff is welcoming and experienced. Alan did a great job at keeping me calm!

My first experience at Kolo back in December 2019 was definitely a bit bumpy. The gentleman at the counter wasn’t very nice and him and I believe the owner were discussing a bad customer review they had gotten instead of helping me and my friend which seemed odd to me. Fast forward to now May 2020 and I returned because of how kind the lady that helped me was the first time when replacing my jewelry in my fresh tragus piercing to help it heal properly (I got pierced elsewhere). I made an appointment (required during pandemic) and the same gentleman that helped me last time helped me this time but he was extremely kind, patient, and helpful. Go figure the same woman who changed my jewelry last time changed it this time and she truly cared about how I was doing with this whole pandemic. Her only job was to replace my jewelry but went the extra mile to have a REAL conversation with me. Kolo now has a forever customer. I absolutely love the staff here, jewelry selection, quality, and cleanliness of the facility. You can’t go wrong stopping here!

I have been to Kolo twice and each time Kyle pierced me. Ive had both my right and left tragus done and I love how they look. Kyle is super friendly and makes you feel at ease. I wanted to come back for an industrial piercing in a few months but he took a look at my ear and recommended that I not get that piercing. He said the way my ear is shaped would likely cause issues with the way the bar sits and will pull and tug while its attempting to heal, which would cause a ton of issues. I was disappointed as Ive been wanting this piercing for a while, but he knows his stuff, so Ill take his professional recommendation and toss the idea. He said we can do some other piercings instead in a few months and thatll work for me. Most shops would have just given me the industrial anyway to make a quick buck without telling me about the issues that I would likely have because of my ear shape. It meant a lot to me that he told me rather than just saying OK, lets do it!. Also, Im not sure why some people say the staff is unfriendly. These are some of the nicest people EVER. The gentleman at the front desk with the shaved head is great too, even though some reviews say otherwise. I get the impression that he wont take a lot of nonsense and is pretty straight forward which I personally like. Overall this is a great place and Ill be back for more piercings in a few months!

Today I got my nipples pierced with Gigi. She was a delight as always. Super professional and talks to you the whole time so you barely even feel the piercing. I got my septum with her a few years ago and some other ear piercings. I always come back to her since she makes me feel super comfortable.

Amazing experience. Went here recently to have my navel pierced, and Gigi was my piercer. She absolutely made me feel at ease, answered every one of my questions I had, and was extremely patient and kind. Very laid-back atmosphere, but extremely professional and clean. Definitely prefer Kolo over anywhere else in the Atlanta area. Great prices, too.Will be going back soon!

A friend and I went in the other day, and it was great. The staff was helpful and friendly and answered all of my questions. The piercing process itself wasnt a hassle at all and its the only piercing Ive ever had that didnt get inflamed right off the bat. The selection is absolutely gorgeous, too. Were both very happy with our experience and will be returning in the future.

I had an emergency due to one of my Tragus rings falling out unexpectedly. The female staff member picked up on my concern in my voice over the line and immediately asked what was the issue. When I explained what I was needing she quickly got me in for an appointment that day so that I could be addressed. Im very thankful, I spent $270 for my new ear rings due to her taking the risk. Again I thank you!!!

I’ve had my septum and anti-tragus done at Kolo and both experiences have been top notch. They are incredibly clean, professional, and their prices are reasonable. Their jewelry selection is the best I have ever seen anywhere. I cannot recommend this shop enough.

Just got my nipples pierced and I love it! It was a quick pain that is well worth it. I think my piercers name was Kyle..Im not sure. But the guy was very knowledgeable and professional. Very clean and sterile establishment. Will return for future piercings.

I honestly think this is the best pierce shop in Atlanta. Their prices are fair for great quality jewelry and they have so much more to choose from than any shop Ive been to. And Gigi is fng BOMB. Like- Ive had a lot of piercings in a lot of uncomfortable places and Ive never had a piercer as quick and precise as her. She did my conch and I was not looking forward to the rumored pain, but she was so quick and assuring that I literally felt nothing-not even the pinch. Shes also a very likeable person aside from her talents. The rest of the staff was helpful and friendly as well. I definitely recommend this place

Absolutely wonderful place! Most beautiful body jewelry selection I have ever seen! Stone; fluorite, and wooden plugs of all different kinds. Great navel rings as well! Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be going back! I would advise calling ahead to schedule an appointment for anything, though. Saturdays are crazy busy up there. Loved it though!

There are a lot of mediocre or outright dangerous piercing shops out there - Kolo is neither. Ive had great experiences here every time Ive been pierced. Theyre strict and detailed about their sterilization process and use quality body-safe jewelry from places like BVLA and Anatometal. Im really thankful to have such a quality shop in my neighborhood.

Ive gotten 4 piercings here (tongue - twice, nose, ear cartilage) over the last 10 years. My sister and husband have also gotten multiple piercings here. Very clean, knowledgeable crew, lots a hardware to choose from. They offer a wide range of services. A little on the pricey side, but I think its worth it, dont want to be pierced by an amateur and they sell durable and sanitary hardware. I feel like she is very good at minimizing pain during the piercings because shes so deft... I would like to try new places in the future, but will always recommend this shop.

I went in on a whim to get a new piercing, and was impressed by the cleanliness and vibe of the shop. Most importantly though, Kyle is an amazing piercer with excellent bedside manner— he made me feel so comfortable and my new piercing is beautiful. I look forward to my next one!

I got my nose piercing here and I had a fantastic experience. I felt no pain, I was given very careful and thorough instructions on how to take care of my piercing. Got my first non-lobe cartilage piercing (helix) and the two women working were very friendly and communicative and the woman who actually pierced my ear talked me through every step of the process before during and after. She was even considerate of the position I slept in to make sure I wouldnt be choosing the wrong ear to get pierced. I am very very satisfied in my experience and believe it was well worth the money (only 45 for the piercing and simplest 18g titanium barbell jewelry). I will definitely be returning for my next piercing.

Theres a reason that everyone who has ever been here recommends these guys for piercings. They are so cool and nice (a lot of ATL piercing places are not). I got my second holes done here and they were just fantastic. I didnt feel rushed at all when it was time to go back, I was a little bit nervous, but they made totally made light of the situation and I really appreciated the distraction. They really take their time, even calling in a second set of eyes on placement to make sure its place perfectly with your unique anatomy. Kolo is my go-to and will be doing all my piercings from now on. Seriously, you wont regret visiting these guys!

Got my septum pierce here a few days ago which freaked me out because it was my first piercing(my ears are not pierced). But it was one of the best experiences Ive had with customer service! My piercer (big cuddly looking guy, forgot his name 😭) was so attentive to me and made sure I was at ease the whole time. I will definitely be back now that my phobia of needles has been effectively quashed!

Just got my septum pierced here! Ive gotten other piercings here over the past 20 years, and the quality is always amazing! The person who works the front is possibly one of the nicest and unintentionally funny guys I have ever come across. Kyle was my piercer and he was personable and hilarious. Ill for sure be back in a few months, once Im all healed up for some new jewelry!

I received a piercing from a different shop 2 months back, but I was dissatisfied with the stud and wanted to change it. I appreciated the professionalism and honesty from Kolo Piercing on yesterday (3/7/2019) The other shop probably would’ve changed it without informing me the dangers of not letting the piercing properly heal for 6 months before changing it into a hoop. Even though I was informed after I bought the piercing, it was no problems being refunded the money back. It was a blessing that I found this place. I’ll see you guys in 4 months!

Good place to get a piercing. It’s clean and sanitary. Making an appointment to get a service is understandable, but having to make an appointment to buy jewelry is stupid. You can get COVID whether you’re vaccinated or not and whether you wear a mask or not. I really think they limit the use the “appointment excuse” to keep an eye on theft by limiting the number of people in the store. If that’s the case then that’s all they have to say. It’s just really inconvenient to have to try to make an appointment with a tight schedule instead of being able to just literally walk in and out to purchase jewelry.

Kyle has done 4 piercings for me now and is so patient and excellent at what he does. I got the last 3 in one sitting, conch and 2 upper lobe. I knew I wanted the 2 lobe but wasn’t sure of placement. I ended up telling him to do what he feels is best, he showed me his plan and it was perfect. He also did my daith in 2019. He is the only piercer I’ll ever go to. Very clean establishment.

Outstanding!! Super helpful and patient. My son got his ears stretched again and new gauges. Everyone was so nice. Idk the girls name, but she helped my son thru an anxiety attack, (I wasn’t able to go in with him) and he was able to compose himself and complete his appt.Make sure you make an appointment and be aware they only let the person inside that the appt is for unless they’re a minor. Parking can also be tricky. Kolo is over an hour from us, but the parking and drive is so worth it to know we are getting great service!!Prices are very reasonable also.

Gigi and Adam were amazing. Gigi was warm and conversational during our service, as well as very gentle, and answered every question I had. Adam even held the door for me as I left :) will definitely be going back, and I appreciate their covid policy!

This place is the best. Kolos has been around since I was in my late teens. I received my first piercing 24 years ago from Gi- Gi. I just took my baby girl to get her first, and Gigi did it too. These people are professional, clean and very kind. They are accepting of ALL people. They have many choices of jewelry and are skilled in the jobs they perform. Due to covid its appointment only, so call first. Every one who likes, has, or maybe wants a piercing should go. You will not be disappointed.

If it was the lady in her 50s age, I would have given this shop a two in customer service.However this post is to celebrate the male employee (whose name I missed) with shaved head and many facial piercings- He is a true Kolo Gem!! Thank you so much; you have a wonderful character. He was a lifesaver for me yesterday night helping me find the perfect piece of jewelry for my occasion. I had driven an hour and was welcomed, not rushed. That really meant so much to me. Their jewelry selection is extensive, the reason why I went. I left feeling overjoyed.

Ill give them 2 stars because I truly believe they are great piercers, however, I called ahead of time (twice) to see if the gorilla glass plugs I had would be okay to pierce with, I was told it would be fine. I got there on my appointment date, gave them the jewelry. Waited 30 mins for the person performing my piercing to return to the shop only to be told I needed to buy a $100 piece of jewelry or the piercing simply could not be done. I was very specific during my call to ask questions and I was never given this information. I think the information was legit, but it should have been told to me before I made an hour drive to their shop.

This place is so chill with great service. The jewelry is beautiful and they have something for everyones taste. I was pierced by Gigi and honestly she was amazing. She took her time and cleaned everything thoroughly as well as kept me distracted with good conversation. I will definitely be coming here for any future piercings.

I would recommend this to shop to anyone who wants a high quality piercing experience! I got two piercings done at this shop, i forget the name of my piercer but he has a pentagram on each of his elbows he was very nice a precise with my placement. it took about an 45 min to an hour to finish up because he is so precise which is dope! He really takes his job serious and made me feel comfortable. This is my go to shop for any piercing i get in the future.

Went to see Gigi. She wasn’t in so Kyle ended up doing my nostril piercing. He was friendly and entertaining during the process. He even commended himself on his work, which I loved. I deducted a star for the slim young man in the front. He wasn’t very welcoming and didn’t explain the different nose rings, just pointed them out. First timer so I would have like an explanation of what I’m choosing. Especially when I stressed I wanted something really tiny. Customer service is everything to me. He wasn’t rude, just not inviting.Would definitely return though.

I recently (about a month ago) paid a little over $100 to have the jewelry in 3 piercings on my ear replaced (Tragus, Rook, and Helix). They had tons of nice jewelry and were polite and helpful when I was choosing sizes, etc. I chose super simple jewelry with clear gems on the ends and the experience in the shop was great.However, my helix jewelry fell out recently - I just noticed it today. Ive had this piercing for several years and have had several pieces of jewelry in it and have never had this issue. I called the shop and they cant even give me a discount on new jewelry. I understand that anyone can just say they lost jewelry but I have two other pieces from their shop, and Im not asking for anything for free, just a discount would be nice. The whole point of this jewelry is to be permanent until you want to take it out, and even if I had had it for a year I wouldnt be too upset, but after a month? Thats not a good product, definitely not worth the money. Or maybe it wasnt installed properly. I have no idea and it honestly doesnt really matter. Now Im paranoid about the other jewelry I bought falling out as well, but I dont want to just waste it.Nice shop, nice staff, but wouldnt recommend you spend your money here unless you just want to replace your jewelry in a month.

Have gotten all my piercing here over the years. Ive gotten my ears and hood pierced here. The owners are always on site, the place is incredibly clean, and everyone is professional. Kolo is a gem of Little Five Points and I hope their vibe stays around forever.

This is the only place my wife and daughters will go for piercings. Always very clean, the staff is awesome and the same faces every time. Selection is fantastic pricing is very fair considering the quality of service, quality of material used and care they give. Appts recommended when possible because everyone wants to go here and they get busy.

Pierced my rook and did a second nostril piercing for me last week and it’s placed perfectly. So far has healed better than any other piercing I’ve had. Thank you so much for such great work (You rock Gigi)!

Kolo is by far the best piercing studio in Atlanta. I have been going there since they opened and I have never had a bad experience. Yes sometimes the line to be helped can be a bit long and it may take an hour to be pierced but that just shows you they are in high demand. I absolutely adore Gigi!!! Thanks guys for be my spot for almost 2 decades!!! Coming in today for new plugs!!!

I drive 45 mins to get to kolo because it is such a clean place and the staff is awesome this is literally one of the best places to get a piercing or get one changed out!

They were very knowledgeable and patient when I went to get me naval piercing. They have a super clean facility and they’re doing a great job following COVID guidelines. I got my piercing about 6 weeks ago and it is healing beautifully.
