I went to Emily for a cover-up before getting married and it was the most wonderful experience! I didn’t have a firm idea on how to cover up a quote on my upper back, thank goodness Emily’s great at her craft cause she made a beautiful piece that I get to love forever! I’ve had plenty of tattoos yet have never felt so comfortable in a chair. The vibes were spectacular, the people were kind and knowledgeable. It was clean as a whistle and I love my coverup so so much!

Ive gotten many tattoos from Emily Madden at this shop, and she has been so incredible to work with. Her art is super cool and she puts so much thought into placement and colors. The vibes at this shop are incredible

My experience getting tattooed by Casey was absolutely one of the best I’ve had. He took extra care to make sure the tattoo was done properly and very respectful and kind during the process. The shop atmosphere was great aswell. Overall 10 out of 10

I got a tattoo from Emily Madden (ylime_tattoos) and it was one of the best tattoo experiences I’ve ever had! The shop has a great vibe — chill, traditional but not too macho. It’s clean, full of flash sheets, and had plenty of room for the artists to spread out (I hate when it feels like I can touch the person getting tattooed next to me). All the other artists in the shop that day were fun to talk to and that helped pass the time. Emily made me a custom trad design that I’m thrilled with! The tattoo is about 5 months healed now and looks great. I’d recommend this shop to anyone looking for American traditional or solid walk-in work.

She was collaborative and up front about everything I needed to know. Whew! This is the place. I travel here from out of town because Im such a fan of Emilys art. My rib coverup took two sessions and the experience was nothing short of amazing. My panther lady is my most tattoo out of the dozen Ive gotten. The whole BC crew is rad and so talented. Seriously its the best shop! Cant wait to go back soon!

My first time yesterday at Big Cat and had such a great experience! I’ve seen Amanda for almost 2 years now and followed her here from another shop. She’s awesome and everyone I met in the shop is so nice and friendly! Very clean shop with an open concept, very very nice. Love all the wall artwork and again, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I will of course be back :-)

I was tattooed by Erin here a few times and if it wasn’t because I moved to another state I would probably have more pieces from them. Which is lame on my part and really means I need to go get a new tattoo from Erin next time in Atlanta but that’s on me.Erin was so kind, comfortable to be around and super awesome to hang out with. I adore and recommend them to anyone who asks about the tattoos I got from them.While I haven’t been tattooed by David or Emily, while at the shop they were always really kind and welcoming. David even made sure I made it to my car safe on a day that I left after dark. I always felt safe and left happy with the art I received during every one of my visits.

David went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, my pain tolerance is low, and he was so patient and kind, he let me take as many breaks as I wanted. The tattoo I was getting was sentimental, as it was for my pet skunk who passed away this year.

Great Shop, had an appt with Emily, she was very accommodating and patient and worked on my design until it was even better than what I had originally imagined, and the tattoo was awesome, everyone at the shop was super friendly. Dave was also super cool, my fiancé didn’t have an appt but wanted a small piece done while she was waiting for me, and Dave fit her in to his schedule to accommodate her as well. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in ATL.

By far the best shop in Atlanta! David and his team are welcoming and the shop is pristine. Guaranteed you will LOVE your tattoo from this shop and anyone doing it. I’ve been going here for David’s traditional work and his line work is immaculate, I’ll continue to book appointments with him and also want to with the rest of his team.So far we’re working on my sleeve, which is thicker line black and greyscale but his fine line work is so sick that I had to get a few of those, floral work is on point and every single time I go I have a new “favorite” tattoo. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment here! You will not regret it no matter who here tattoos you. I personally live almost three hours from Atlanta and HAPPILY make the drive just to get tattooed by Emily! The general atmosphere of the shop is incredibly chill and welcoming and Emily is one of the sweetest and most talented people I’ve ever met. I’m usually the type to just sit silent in tat or hair appointments but it’s so easy to talk to her and time flies. I feel like her prices are super reasonable and I’ve never left feeling like “oh that much for this?” It’s always been super fair and I’ve always left super happy. I’m surprised she isn’t more fully booked out. I haven’t been tattooed by anyone else currently there but their work is beautiful and in person they seem lovely and their clients always seem super happy to be in their chair.

Been tattooed here multiple times and all the staff are incredible! They are all extremely talented and care a lot about cleanliness and the work they create. The prices are extremely reasonable so make sure to tip extra because they deserve it!

I came here today and got a thigh tattoo done by Zach. This was my first tattoo and I love it. I showed him a pic and told him what I wanted to add & he drew it exactly the way I wanted it. The staff was friendly and good convo. Ill be back when Im ready for my 2nd tattoo.

We met as strangers in this shop (I found her on IG) but I know Ive found a tattoo home at Big Cat. Highly, highly recommend for first timers or veterans. Chill atmosphere and great staff. I travel down from South Carolina to get my tattoos here, and my tattoos heal up quick and clean every time. They are the only shop that I have consistently gone to for a few years now and it doesn’t hurt that the prices are fair and David is quick and efficient without skimping on the details.

Recently had an appointment with Erin who is amazing! Very easy to consult via email and to book the appointment online. When I arrived to the shop I was immediately greeted by Erin and checked in. The atmosphere of the shop was very welcoming but authentic to the traditional vibe. They let my husband sit with me while getting tattooed which is a plus! Erin was great to talk with and the piece came out better than I imagined. I will definitely be back soon!

Incredible tattoo studio. Erin is my go-to artist, she has done six pieces on me over the years and there is a reason I keep going back! The tattoo artists are knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and TALENTED. While I haven’t yet been tattooed by some of the other resident artists, I’ve seen their work and how they treat their customers with kindness and compassion, and I know I would be in good hands with anyone there.

After about a day of looking for a tattoo shop, this one won hands down. My friend and I spent a day going back and forth about different tattoo shops. Now this wasnt the best deal but based on their reviews and pictures it made it worth what they charged. Jesse seemed to have the best reviews so we made our appointments with her. It took about a week to actually confirm our appointments but my friend was in constant contact with them and it was a slight oversight on their part.Arrived there about noon on a Saturday, which is when they open and the staff was already there. We went over our tattoo designs and placement, made changes and edits to make sure it was what we wanted. Ive had 2 previous tattoos and this is the first place that actually had me sign a waiver.We saw Jessie clean the area, change the tools, and prep everything that was needed for both of us. Jesse is very chill and friendly, and super nice.The staff was friendly and nice and I appreciated that. Chris, one of that tattoos artists, is a funny guy, He cracked jokes and I had to try hard not too laugh while I was being tattooed.The shop isnt that big, a front room and a back room that they share, but theyre moving to a new location soon which will be much bigger and offer more services.If I ever decide to get another tattoo (which I probably wont because Im done, lol) I would def come back here and I also would recommend others to come as well.

This was my very first tattoo and I have to say David Parish and the entire staff are awesome! David was my artist and was available to chat or communicate via email as much as I needed to before my actual appointment. I sent him a variety of pics so he knew what my vision was. Once I arrived he greeted me with a warm smile and got right to work sketching out the tat. Im more than pleased and before he was done I was thinking about my next one. The atmosphere is great and staff seems like family.

Made a same day appointment and met with Emily! I’m a tattoo “novice” and wanted something simple. Emily and her boss, I believe Dave (?), welcomes me and made me feel comfortable from the start. Emily took my simple vision, came up with the perfect design and got to work. A very clean and relaxing environment. I will be going back and would recommend Emily and the team at Big Cat with no hesitation. I was in and out in 45 minutes.

So I went in for a tattoo today and Absolutely a great place. Emily was great met my expectations and more I am very proud to finally find a good artist in Atlanta and hope to move forward with her. I just dropped in spontaneously one day, and they took me in right away. They were INCREDIBLY helpful in building the right tattoo for me, as I came in with a general vision but no idea exactly what I wanted. Chris made several different sketches until we found the perfect design and size, no stress or rushing at all. The tattoo was small and fine lined, aka easy to mess up, but he absolutely hit it out of the park. I couldn’t be happier and will definitely be back here for my next tattoo :) Lovely people and wonderfully talented!

Very friendly staff. Beforehand, I was worried about quality, being my first ever tattoo and all, and I was in great hands from start to finish. They did an excellent job on my tattoo. Despite it being a simple piece, David took his time and did an excellent job. I will absolutely be returning.

At Big Cat - The guys were awesome and so fun! We popped in from out of town and my daughter and her girlfriend wanted piercings, so we called and they said come on down, open until 10pm which was a plus for us. Walked in with one of my besties for a small script friendship tatt. I know we aren’t their typical clients but Lumberjack Tom handled it like a champ. We had a pic & he took it & did his own thing & they were perfect. Both Tom & the other artist working were super friendly & held conversations with us. Love the shop, especially the awesome glitter floor! It actually took longer for Tom to sanitize his station between each of our tattoos than it did to actually tattoo us but that speaks volumes on his professionalism & attention to detail & cleanliness. Highly recommend!!!!

The whole team was so so professional and kind. they gave all their attention to my needs and made sure i was 1000% satisfied with the stencil before tattooing. it was such a pleasure. jesse adams is such a talented artist. i would recommend her to anyone 🥰 love my new ink!!!!

Ugh awesome. We drove in from out of town. Family tattoo trip. My girls first tattoo. Me and my husband got our 1st tattoo done 21 years ago when we first meant. It was important for me to tattoo with our kids for their 1st one. Called ahead got great info. Got there the energy and the professionalism was top level. Love our tattoos. In out with our own designs. We will return soon for enhancements

Made a last minute appointment with my sister and cousins in which they were able to accommodate for. We were helped by both Jesse and Emily, who were a delight. They made us all feel comfortable and were quick and efficient all while delivering a beautiful finished piece for each of us. I look forward to going back in the future!

Easily one of the best tattoo experiences I have had. Staff was incredibly friendly and did excellent work. Couldnt recommend the place enough. Will definitely be returning soon!

Amazing atmosphere and artists. Three of my friends and I walked in wanting to get tattoos and they accommodated us all. They were receptive to our ideas and comments and did a great job. Definitely would recommend this to people.

As a heavily tattooed person, and have been tattooed in multiple shops around atlanta. Big cat tattoo offered help to make my next piece work amazing with my old starts! Chris Tollenson was able to take a small/basic idea, with no real reference, become one of my favorite tattoos. Owner (David) came in on one of his few days off to make sure his hired artist were living up to his standard of his shop. Overall this is an amazing shop with amazing artist that want to take your ideas and make them into not only your reality but theirs as well!

David Parrish is my main man he’s done multiple tattoos on me at this point including a difficult hand cover up which he pulled off with no real issues. I’m planning on basically full body coverage by him this year. He knows what he’s doing, he has good vision, he prices fairly, and he works SO FAST. Plus you really can’t beat this location it’s right down the road from Lenox and everything go get some work done!!

I’ve gotten a couple pieces from Emily at big cat, she’s absolutely amazing and the sweetest. Couldn’t recommend her or the shop enough

David is a great artist and has done many tattoos on me (and I love all of them!) The shop is clean and has a great atmosphere. The rest of the staff is super friendly as well!
