I absolutely love this shop! 1000/10 recommend. Red pierced me from 9th grade to my senior year before I moved, with parental consent of course. Hands down the best and safest option in Baton Rouge. They made me feel so comfortable every time I went.

I have had 3 piercings done here and they are the best in town. Very friendly, clean and informative of the whole process. Great jewelry selection as well. I will continue to come back and recommend this studio!

I got a problematic bellybutton piercing from a tattoo shop in New Orleans, and I went to Déjà Vu to see if they could save it. They put me in higher quality jewelry that was better suited for my anatomy and widened the gauge of the piercing. They saved my bellybutton piercing entirely! Can’t recommend their expertise enough!

Horrible people, treat customers awfully. do not go here because they are rude and red will just scream in your face. if you want to reschedule they will steal your money and scream like children, even the boss red. shouldve read the negative reviews as well, instead of just the positive ones. I also had to be repierced after getting it done at this location because it was done wrong!edit: 1. of course i didnt use my real name, you all treated me like a POS! 2. yes, you do yell at customers! as soon as someone pays the $40 fee or scheduled an appointment, they are a customer, and hopefully others will see they are whining like children in response to the other bad reviews, or flat out being insulting. you screamed at me and you wish not to remember and say my review is fake because you were all horrible. i did go here, i just wont tolerate more abuse by you all knowing my name. Shine and Red need serious help based on your other responses to unhappy customers and this one, as well as the fact you both had no respect for me and therefore your business.I have no idea what customer you’re talking about, I’m from Merrydale 😭. I hope your business goes out of practice because you are all malicious and cant take constructive criticism. I tried to get a piercing here, missed my first appointment and had to reschedule which is where the fee totally makes sense. once i made another both men in the shop were abrasive and rude.

I surprised my daughter for her 15th birthday with a nose piercing and I booked a appointment online with Shine. We made it to the appointment and we met Shine she was very welcoming. My daughter picked out her jewelry. Shine gave the steps of what was going to happen during the piercing. Afterwards she gave us the instructions of what she needed to do to take care of it. Reds the best. Id never gotten any piercings done before and only planned on one, but the process was so easy and comfy here, I immediately started planning more. He talked me through the whole process, going over proper care and cleaning, what options fit my ear properly, etc. Hes extremely dedication to keeping everything clean and properly sterilized, which was a big part of making the process comfortable at least for me.Bonus points because he was a total sweetie when I started transitioning and needed to update my name. Cant recommend Deja Vu enough!

Red at Deja Vu has done all my piercings (conch is a clip on lol) but all others pictured (double piercing in each earlobe and helix) and he did including my nostril piercing (not pictured). A friend recommended him a couple years ago when I first went for my nose piercing and so glad I discovered him! He’s knowledgeable and great at his craft. He’s to the point (haha) and will tell it like it is if he thinks a piercing should be done or not (not just going to do what you ask just to make a buck, which shows he’s reputable and good) and is knowledgeable with placements and types. His shop is very clean and comfortable. He is meticulous with sterility of supplies which is so important. I tried someone else for a piercing once and it wasn’t the right size and went bad and got terribly infected; learned my lesson and will never go to anyone other than Red after that. Highly recommend if needed/wanting a piercing done. Also has a great selection of jewels!

The only person more hype about my nose piercing for me was hands-down Shine! My favorite part was how they agreed how well the piercing fits my aesthetic :)They were extremely courteous, kind, and explained every step along the way. They even worked on making sure the placement would look good with a hoop when it’s time to graduate to that in 6 months - above and beyond in genuinely caring about what I wanted and making sure it happened. Fantastic experience overall, impeccably clean studio, excellent service care. You’d be stupid to go anywhere else, honestly.

I have been pierced here before as well as had them look at some jewelry that i had gotten done at another tattoo place and I must say I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Red is very professional and knowledgeable about what he is doing and he really puts you at ease when you are about to get your piercing. The staff is very laid back and cool and that puts you at ease. Red was very patient, the facility was very clean and inviting. I got a helix on my right ear done and I am obsessed with it. I will say come=me here expecting to spend a pretty penny however, I paid $115.00 for my piercing total. Red was very explicit about explaining the healing process including some pillows you could get to help you sleep as well as being very through about what could happen if you dont come back to downsize your jewelry as well as explaining the difference between a healing bump and a keloid. Overall my experience was excellent and I will be going back for any future piercings. Thank you all!!!

He worked with me on placement for all 3 piercings I’ve had done there to get them just right, and he’s definitely my go to guy now! They look amazing if I do say so myself! I got my nostril pierced a couple weeks ago and Shine was amazing. They were obviously extremely educated and informative. I had a nostril previously that closed up and was placed in the crease of my nose. I had wanted the placement to be similar to the one I had previously but after talking with Shine about why that is an unsafe and unsanitary practice we decided to go a little bit lower. That conversation alone was proof enough that I was in a safe environment with a true professional. I can already notice a huge difference in the healing of this piercing compared to my last one and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the outcome. During the piercing, they had to push through some scar tissue left over from my old nostril and this is typically extremely painful. Shine was so gentle, but still quick with the insertion even with the extra pressure needed to push through that scar tissue. Highly recommend Shine if you’re thinking of getting any sort of piercing!!!

My wife made an appointment for my daughter to get her ears pierced. We did some research and found this place and read it was clean and professional. We arrived to a fella whos first remark was were by appointment only after I informed him we had an appointment he stated he couldnt pierce my daughters ears. He said in a very rude manor that you must have not read the website. After looking at the Google page I didnt see any sort of exclusions regarding a minor simply getting their ear lobes pierced. After the rude welcoming he invited me in only to tell me I have to pay FULL PRICE regardless of whether he did the job or not because he doesnt get paid unless I pay. I told him that he could have said what that a little nicer and he lost it. He started cussing at me in front of my daughter who only wanted her ears pierced. I told him I didnt appreciate him using foul language in front of her only to have more cussing at me. Dont know his name but he had black and red face tattoos. Incredibly unprofessional and down right unacceptable especially in front of minors. Take your business else where.

Best piercing experience I’ve ever had. Back in early 2018 I went to another place in Baton Rouge to get three cartilage piercings and the service overall was terrible. After three years of dealing with them I took all of them out and then a year and half later booked an appointment with Red. He talked me through everything beforehand, explained things as he went, and answered my questions without making me feel like an idiot (like the last guy did lol). Couldn’t be happier with my piercings! They already feel and look better than the first time.

I’ve been getting pierced here for YEARS. Came in 2015 because my cheek piercings were awful due to poor jewelry and got some hella cute heart shaped pieces put in them. From then on, this was the place to go for all new piercings and upgrades. Red is the most knowledgeable piercer in Baton Rouge hands down and the fact that he isn’t fake and doesn’t take anyone’s bs is the main reason I keep returning. I came in to get my septum piercing done yesterday and I had a great experience! Making an appointment on their site was really easy. The shop is very clean and welcoming with a nice selection of all kinds of awesome jewelry. Red was very thorough with sanitation and explaining exactly what was going to happen throughout the entire process, which I thought was awesome! The piercing itself went smoothly with minimal pain; it has been a few hours later and I have no discomfort at all.
