Kitty gave me an amazing tattoo!! I went in with a general idea of what I wanted and she worked with me to figure out exactly what I’d like best. She had lots of patience. Her and Micah were a lot of fun to talk to. They’re good people that treat you like a friend. I would definitely go back!

10/10 recommend! Micah did an amazing job and completely transformed my coverup. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to do the job, and will be back in the future for all of my work.

I have multiple tattoos from Micah Babin.Micah has an amazing mind for all types of tattooing, but I love his color work best! He uses a color scheme like no other that POPS and stays vibrant for years and years. He ties pieces in beautifully, and is extremely knowledgeable on tattooing as well as tattoo history.

Micah is the best tattoo artist around. I highly recommend this tattoo shop. Communication is easy and fast. Welcoming vibe with every visit. I wanted sleeves and a cover up. I had a hard time coming up with design and ideas, once I had one tattoo session, Micah picked up on my style and presented me with designs and ideas to help the art flow. So thankful that I found this place.

I really cannot say enough about what a great shop this is. It’s clean, professional, and a laid back environment. Most importantly, the artistry is unbelievable. Micah has done a few tattoos on me and fixed some old tattoos of mine and they always turn out incredible. I literally save up my money to come here to get my next one. For color ink especially, you’re really in for a vibrant dope tattoo. I get compliments constantly from all types of people and I truly feel like I have genuine art on my body forever. LOVE IT HERE I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!

Micah was awesome and a pleasure to work with. He did 2 memorial pieces for me and 1 one was pretty cut and dry but the other was a bit complicated - he was super patient and helpful working with me on getting the design right and resulted in me having a gorgeous memorial piece just like I wanted and had pictured.

Roger such an underrated artist!! He has done two beautiful pieces for me and both experiences were great. He’s extremely professional and knows just how to capture your vision and put his twist on it. Coming from a portrait artist, his attention to detail, line work, and anatomy is one of the best you can find in Baton Rouge.

Best artist I have ever had! My tattoo was a tough one because I wanted bands on my forearm. Micah custom drew my tattoo on my arm then made it look incredible. My dad also got work done by Micah as well and it looks amazing. Other artists turned my dad down because they couldnt do what he wanted. I plan to go back to get the rest of my sleeve done and some piercings done here as well!

So I came to Roger after being a fan of his work for a long time. Gave him a tattoo idea I wanted for my anime sleeve and he absolutely nailed it!! I got the best Kanna Chiba I could ask for💜 line work is impeccable and color is incredibly vibrant!! He was very professional and had a very sanitary work environment. I will definitely be back!!!

Micah is in the process of reworking a few 10 year old tattoos on my arm and designing a custom sleeve. It’s amazing to watch the process of a true artist, and seeing the final product after each session. If you’re looking for color work, I highly recommend!

He actually cares about his work, wants the best experience for his clients and gives good insight and recommendations on top of providing a dope atmosphere for clients. Such an amazing shop! I had started my thigh piece about 3 years ago and then my tattoo artist moved out of state. Randall did such an amazing job! I went in and told him to do whatever he wanted and to just make the tattoo his and i was completely blown away with his skill. I cant wait to go back in for my next appointment!!

Micah is doing repair work on my disaster tattoos. I claim he is the best in Baton Rouge after visiting many shops and doing a lot of research. You can’t go wrong with him or any of the artists there. Capital City Tattoo is by far the best in town and open on Sundays!

Roger Cazares at Capital City TattooI cant tell yall how great it was to work wirh Roger! He took an idea I had for a tattoo of my cat and ran with it! He did such an amazing job and always made sure I was comfortable the entire process. Go check out his work! I truly havent seen many people put out this type of work in our area. So very happy with mine and my husbands tattoo . Excellent and very professional service .Howard did both our tattoos and was a great person to work with , very entertaing and informative.Would recommend him and any of the other artists we met.

My artist lined up and centered everything very poorly. He also wouldnt listen when I told him what I wanted and was very opinionated on my tattoos and insisted on doing it his way. On top of all that he also gave me very creepy vibes and made me feel VERY uncomfortable with the things he would say to me. He also wouldn’t let my friend come in with me so I was alone with him. It was the worst tattoo experience i’ve ever had.

Got my cartilage pericing done here by Jason and I thought it would be very painful but I didn’t feel it at all. They used a good numbing solution and I felt no pain at all. Also healed great and had no problems with it. Definitely planning to get a tattoo done here in the future. I would definitely recommend it!

Micah is incredible! He has a very light touch and is incredibly talented. Hes naturally artistic and makes everything look like a masterpiece. Definitely the place to go for new ink!

Booked an appointment, and then got no showed. The whole shop was closed during posted business hours. Nor did they have the courtesy to call or text back after I reached out to them to see why I was forgotten.

I have had multiple artwork done at this establishment and have LOVED all the work Ive received. The location is extremely convenient and always clean. I have, and will continue to recommend this tattoo shop to anyone who asks!

I came in scared to death OKAY!!!! But micah and kitty made me feel so relaxed, cracked a couple of jokes and it was over soon after it started (oh and I used numbing cream so I didn’t feel sheeeeeeeeet lol) I’m from Boston but if I ever come back to Louisiana I will only come here ON GOD!!!! Really warm and lively environment. all of the artists were super cool and nice. they even offered $10 piercings in honor of it being friday the 13th. extremely nice and professional artists over all — my friends and I will definitely be back!

Owner was rude and customer service was poor. Waited 30 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. He seemed to care more about the people getting a tattoo then my piercing. The piercing fell out 6 hours later. Wasted my money & time.

Wonderful tattoo shop came all the way from NYC to get tatted and the experience was great. The artist are very friendly and the owner is super cool.

Wow, this place is great, if I need more ink this is where I will get it done. Micah Babin is a true artist with a tattoo gun. The prices are more than reasonable. Work and quality are guaranteed.

Paid 300 for a tattoo not worth more than 150. He rushed it and was on and off his phone the entire time. Roger was his name. Arguing with his girlfriend and mother. The lines are sloppy and not straight. I dint think I got more than 5 words out of him personally. I was promised a tattoo 100-200 but then was told 300 when he finished.

My first time getting a tattoo and I am very pleased with the outcome. Howard (Im pretty sure that was his name 😅)was my artist and will definitely return to get another tattoo.

Was just a horrible experience in all. First off the tattoo didn’t look how I wanted it. There were too many mistakes that could have easily been avoided if they were paying more attention. Also there was something about the place and the workers that made me uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place and I strongly urge everyone to stay away
