Removery Tattoo Removal & Fading

Although they have rescheduled me a couple times and my reasoning for just 4 stars,I do love the girls that work here. They are professional, they explain everything to you, easy to talk to and help ease your mind. So far it’s only been my second session of tattoo removal and I’m confident that they have resolved their staffing issues.

(This is for the Newport, KY location) This is hands-down my worst customer service experience in the last 5 years. They canceled/rescheduled appointments on 8 separate occasions. Each time the appointment would be pushed out several weeks, thereby extending the amount of time it would take for my tattoo to be removed by somewhere between 8 and 10 months. The reason/excuse was always the same, Our technician had to go out of town, Our technician was sick, Our technician had a family emergency, blah, blah, blah. You would think they would either hire a second technician or at least terminate the unreliable technician. They told me the work was about 50% complete in an attempt to make me feel more positively about the progress we were making. And later, when I told them Id like to have 50% of my $1700 refunded, they balked and said they would not issue any refund (despite the work being nowhere near completion). I found a more reliable place a few miles away and I will never go back to Removery. I have made it a point to mention how awful they were when it comes to honoring obligations. Ive shared the story with 5 people so far looking to get tattoos removed. My advice to anyone that is willing to go to Removery to have their tattoo(s) removed is to wait until the end of their sessions before posting a Google review about your experience. You will get frequent texts at the onset of this service prompting you to write a review. Dont be too hasty with that review, though!

Incredibly frustrated and disappointed with my experience with this Removery location. I paid them several thousand dollars last summer to remove 2 tattoos I have. My appointments have been cancelled by Removery more often than they have happened as originally scheduled. They have cancelled 4 of my appointments because they are clearly having staff retention issues. I understand things happen, but not 4 times in a row when I am waiting months between my visits. This is not the quality of service expected at the high price point they charge, I am very frustrated and there is no accountability from them. I should have had several more sessions than I have had at this point and I’ve asked them to have corporate call me and offer some kind of refund because this is honestly ridiculous. No follow up, I have to reach back out.I wait 8-10 weeks between appointments, take time off work to accommodate commuting there during business hours and they consistently cancel week of. Now they are closed down for weeks to try and get it together, but they shouldn’t have been taking peoples money knowing they don’t have the staff to deliver their services and honor the appointments they schedule. I am considering legal action, like some other commenters here.Don’t do it. I regret signing up. My tattoos are now starting to lighten nearly a year in and I should be much further along in treatments.

A review of Removery and office Manager Kelly, I apologize i am not good w names or faces, but i am good with observation and actions. Ms Kelly was the only person i saw in the building my 42 min spent in the building, was 7 min late myself (again my apologies), they did not rush through my appointment, they gave me more than enough time to ask questions, and was brutally honest to the point it could’ve cost the sale. Ms. Kelly didn’t know that i was likely purchasing regardless of what she said, but she didn’t let my less than enthused demeanor deter her from being open honest and transparent. She properly set my expectations, gauged my knowledge on tattoo removal and then proceeded to speak to me on my level of expertise which was little to none. She broke everything down in an easy to understand way and was truthful. She offered several forms of payment which was appreciated as well to help alleviate financial burden. Can’t say enough about the professionalism, the attention to detail, the transparency, the comfort, the peace, chick fil a feel, or better put the Jesus Vibe. Removery is cool all the time. I definitely intend to go forward with tattoo removal, but i am confident i found the best place for the job. Been looking for a tattoo removal place for several years and finally found one that gave off Jesus Vibes. I may be inaccurate on the name and position title but i do know she made my day, and she operated like she ran the place, she worked like she ran the place and she was informed like she ran the place, looks like a duck walks like a duck, you know the rest; bless ♠️

I have been getting treatments done since Dec 2020 but am not even close to done because of appointments getting canceled and the next available appointment is months out, all to be canceled last minute again. In the last year, I think I have only gotten two treatments done because they have been getting canceled so frequently.

The laser tech is so incredible at making you feel comfortable and safe the entire time. The process can be uncomfortable but they do everything they can to make you feel at ease! Love it here and would highly recommend to anyone wanting tattoo removal!

Would HIGHLY recommend the Removery! Their online appointment scheduling was convenient. The consultation was very thorough and the place is clean and welcoming. The procedure itself is quick and they talk you through it. Thank you Dave and Rob! 5 stars!!

I started my microblading removal yesterday. The girls were so informative they left me having only a couple of questions to ask. I do not think the procedure was bad at all. Nothing like I had anticipated. I traveled 2 hours to get to them. I have tried other procedures that did little to nothing. I highly recommend Removery! I see a difference even more today.

They have been canceling appointments since the beginning of 2024, there are no staff members in the kentucky bellevue location and at this pointnim abiut to takw legal action to get my money back, I have already soent over a thousand dollars and my tattoos are still not removed.

So very happy and satisfied with the tattoo laser procedure to remove my powder brows. The result is fabulous after the 1st procedure. Pleasently surprised how quick the procedure was and with very little discomfort. The staff was courteous, professional and knowledgeable, the office visit was timely and comfortable. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Highly recommend.

This is the most unorganized and poorly managed removery and business! Have been going here for two years and they treat their techs horribly, by overworking them and providing no support. All the techs I’ve had have been on the verge of tears most days. They’ve cancelled my next appointment without rescheduling and said they won’t be open for months. After paying them the amount of money I have I’m very disappointed! Hopefully they train and treat their next tech better.

Extremely professional and friendly staff!!! The process itself was quick and painless for me honestly. I know everyone is different and what I’m having removed isn’t large. This was my first session, and I can’t wait for the follow ups!

I met Molly at the reception desk. She was pleasant & explained, in general, the tattoo removing process, the good & the not so good. I had my 1st procedure having my eyebrow tattoos removed. All went as planned, very little discomfort. I would definitely recommend Removery to anyone needing their services.

First, I absolutely love Kim. After my third session in March, I was watching TV with my bf, got up off the couch and screamed bc it was so painful to walk . I looked at my leg, 4 hours later had fluid filled blisters and couldnt put weight on my foot . The pain continued for two days . The blisters popped after a week. In June I consulted with a dermatologist who worked at another removal center and was told the laser used does not penetrate green ink. The dermatologist denied me to let his clinic continue the removal process. The last photo is today

Too expensive for the disappointing results. If cleanliness and friendliness were the deciding factors for this review Removery would get 5 stars. However, this review is mainly based off of price and results. I bought a fade package for a small tattoo ($600-700 for 3 treatments).During my consult I was told I was a good candidate for the fade package since I have a black and gray tattoo close to my heart. I was shown pictures where tattoos had been 50% or more faded from 3 treatments, which would be a result Id be happy with. My results are nowhere near that.I was encouraged to write a review directly after my consult. Im glad I waited. I think this is where all the 5 star reviews are coming from honestly, people who arent done with treatment.About 15% of my ink is faded. 85% of my ink remains. My last treatment was about 2 months ago. That treatment didnt really add any visible fading. The technician mentioned changing the setting for that last treatment to treat a different dermal layer. Im wondering if she set it to a less effective setting, so Id have to buy more sessions. This is pure speculation. But what I know for a fact is that I will not be back.

Had 2 additional appointments canceledHad my appointment canceled on me today and was told they wouldn’t be able to get me on the schedule for another two months (after my existing appointment was already a delay from my 8-10 week schedule). I would not have paid for an unlimited package had I known that they would be so understaffed and their schedule would be booked so far out

Sad to have to update this review. Although the below still holds true for my initial experience, these past few months I have been rescheduled three separate (and consecutive) times. There is no accountability for them. They have my money already.Original review: I was a little nervous at first- not knowing how painful it would be. Both Dave and Rob eased my fears. Made sure the area was nice and numb, thoroughly went over what to expect, and did a test spot. It didn’t feel great, but was very doable. They answered all of my questions, too! It was a great first experience!

Removery is amazing! I just had my consultation and although I was not ready to commit today, they were so comforting and so helpful. They really want you to know what you’re getting into and are upfront about all the ins and outs. They made me feel comfortable and did not pressure me to make a decision today. I look forward to starting my treatments!

I have not yet used them personally for my tattoo removal yet. Have a few decisions to make before sealing the deal. Very comfortable setting and clean business. Felt welcomed walking in and discussing everything for future work. Very knowledgeable and went over everything thoroughly with me.

I highly recommend Removery to anyone interested in the tattoo removal process. I visited their Bellevue, KY location which was impeccably clean and had a very welcoming staff. During my consultation, Melissa was very thorough and made sure I understood each step of the process. She offered multiple payment options but never made me feel pressured to commit to move forward with the process. I felt that the price was definitely right based on my research on how much tattoo removal costs and was very excited that their price for full removal of 2 tattoos was much lower than I expected. I decided to move forward with the process and was able to have my first removal session immediately after my consultation.The laser technician was very friendly and knowledgeable and made sure I felt at ease with the process. For both of my tattoos, which are very small (less than 1 square inch), the actual laser time was only about 3-5 seconds per tattoo. Yes, it’s uncomfortable, but then pain went away within minutes, if that. The entire process (consultation and laser session) took 30 minutes. I left with after-care information and cortisone cream and am looking forward to my next session in 8 weeks!Definitely check out Removery if you are looking into tattoo removal. I had my first treatment yesterday. I was a little nervous but the staff was very helpful, professional and informative and their environment was really clean. Payment plans are an option, so no need to wait. I’m looking forward to seeing this tattoo disappear. My sister had two of her tattoos removed here and it really does work, promise. Hope this review helps since I know it’s hard to find a promising and trustworthy tattoo removal company.

Met with David today for a consultation about getting a very large tattoo on my shoulder removed and he could not have been nicer! Very informative and so easy to talk to. And bonus surprise, nurses get 10% off! I’m very excited to start the removal process!

To start I have a tattoo on my arm I got a few years ago and it didn’t turn out to be what I wanted. I have been very self conscious because it’s something very visible. I decided to set up a consultation to see what laser removal was all about. I met with Matt yesterday evening who was wonderful! He explained everything to me. Answered all questions I had regarding laser removal. They even did my first treatment the same day! The women who did my treatment was very nice! Explained to me the discomfort I may feel. It wasn’t bad at all! It was such a quick process! They both were wonderful to work with. The facility is very clean. I felt very comfortable and am happy I chose Removery! I can already see some fading after only one treatment. I can’t wait to see the end results! :) I highly recommend!

The folks at removary are absolutely amazing, Dave always sits and talks with me before the treatment which calms my nerves 1000%. They also make sure they I am doing okay the entire time. Rob who has done one of my sessions is quick and thorough and after even the one session I can see noticeable chances. Courtney is an absolute angel and makes sure to encourage you the entire time. Her work is also amazing from what I can see so far (I just left a few minutes ago) I appreciate all of you at removary so much for what you do and for helping so many folks feel better in their bodies.

I’ve been coming for tattoo removal sessions for over a year and Rob and Melissa are really great! They are both very kind, always on time for my appointment, reassuring, patient with me, answer all of my questions and explain any changes or updates during my appointment. I am always given a bag of supplies and do/don’t tips to take home. They are responsive if I ever have any questions before my appointment and send friendly reminders for upcoming sessions. I highly recommend Removery!

I know that seems like a long time, and knowing my tattoo still isnt gone, and this process is taking longer than I expected, I am right on track for my finger tattoo removal.Back Story:I was married to my abuser and we got wedding rings tattood. At the time, I thought it was a good idea to do so because, well, idk. Fast forward to now through the protection orders, hospital stays, counseling, countless sleepless nights, many police, many court dates, and even a safe house, Im finally away from him. However, every time I see my finger, all those memories come back, and I feel like all my progress is void and nil.Going to my Appointments:Its weird saying, I look forward to my painful appointments. However, the pain of the removal isnt anything compared to what I went through for 10 years. The tech is very kind and I dont feel like just another client when I go. They greet me by name, I can text with them verses having to talk on the phone to make or reschedule appointments. The tech has laughed with me, cried with me and asks, and truly cares, about my day/week/month.Future:I will continue to keep going to my appointments and they will continue to work on my finger tattoo until it is completely gone. They promised me, and I believe them. I have a wonderful man in my life now, and although he has his doubts on the tattoo removal and the success of it, we will both be extremely happy to see it gone. I feel like once its gone, I can finally close the book of my life and start a new book titled, life after abuse and live happily every after.

IT DOESNT WORKS 23 TREATMENTS AND STILL VERY VISIBLE dont waste your money and time the pain is awful for the results is just not worthy. People are amazing friendly professionals not their fault their 500k laser machine doesnt work.

I was a little nervous on what to expect, but Matt was very helpful and informative. The whole process was quick and only mildly painful. Honestly the ice beforehand was more uncomfortable than the laser! The facilities are clean and the person who gave me the treatment (sorry I think her name was Dana…?) was very kind and made me feel at ease. I’m already seeing fantastic results after just one treatment! This is a great facility, highly recommend!

The manager, Blake, and the laser technician, Kelly, are both very kind and compassionate - the type of people I look forward to interacting with again and again. They are the best. I just received my third treatment and the session was amazing. TShe really listened to me when I said that I needed to take breaks and never made me feel rushed. She ensured I had plenty of supplies for after treatment care and was able to work with my schedule to book my next appointment. Went here for a free consultation and was quoted 2,500k to remove an apple sized 9yo tatt. They offered me a payment plan tho which was a subpar option. And then tried to sell me on their equiptment being state of the art. Must be why theyre charging so much ig somebodys gotta pay the fee. Facility looked nice and clean. But I think this place is a rip off. They treat tattoo artists for free yet charge reg people an arm and leg. I ended up going to a medical spa and they took great care of me for a fraction of the cost with great equipment and care. I wouldnt even waste your time with a consult unless youre a tattoo artist.

I just completed my first session with Removery to fade a small tattoo for a cover up. So far I like everything about the experience.-Really clean and professional staff and building, including a very Instagrammable “Chill room” :)-Text-based appointment management and reminders-Good location-Less painful and expensive than I thought!I don’t plan to get any more tattoos removed but if I did, I’d come back here without hesitation.

Courtney did my procedure today. I’m currently a year and a half in of removal and I can say I’m pleased with the results so far. It’s painful BUT worth it. She was so quick to get me in and out and answered my extra questions. Thanks!

I highly recommend this place. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. The studio has a really nice clean-cut vibe. They were very open and honest of pros, cons and expectations before even starting treatments which I really appreciated. The laser itself doesn’t feel the best and I have a pretty low pain tolerance but luckily it’s always pretty quick sessions and they always talk to me thru the session and to get my mind off it. This place is worth every penny!

There is a reason they arent accredited by the Better Business Bureau.Their communication is impersonal and lazy. Customer service is not great. I emailed and called their corporate line, was told the issue would be elevated to a regional manager. Its been a week with no response.

Fast and friendly service making things less painful 10/10 recommend. Ask for ice pack before lasering and you wont feel a thing.

I had my first treatment yesterday. All questions/concerns I had were answered beforehand. Went over pricing and was able to pick the best option for me. Ann was great at walking me through what to expect and how many treatments I will need. I decided to go through the first treatment without numbing cream. It felt like a rubber band snapping my skin. Blake was patient when I needed a break. Afterwards she explained how to care for the area. I’m glad I found this place. Can’t wait for my next treatment and to start seeing results.

I would recommend this place 10/10 times! The staff is so friendly, inviting, and professional. Kim has been the person that has done all but 1 session and she is great! The appointment times are very flexible. They have evening hours so I dont have to miss work. The pricing is very affordable as well!

I am 4 sessions and excepted to only need 9. So far its been a very good experience. The staff is very welcoming each time.They accommodate me each each treatment session whether it be stress balls, peppermints, and even play my favorite genere of music to help me relax. Very efficient. So far I am pleased with the work. I cant wait until the finish product. 🙂

Theres a wonderful atmosphere and you feel completely comfortable. You do have to pay for parking if you park right in front of the building but the sessions dont take long. Matthew is wonderful!!! He is very understanding and patience. He is very willing to work with you through the process and circumstances. The payments arent too expensive and if the tattoo isnt gone after the recommended number of sessions the proceeding sessions after that are free!!!! I highly recommend this place if youre looking to get rid of a tattoo big or small!!

I am on my third treatment, and I am happy with the results so far. The staff are friendly and professional. There has been a substantial price increase since my first review. Not sure I will be able to finish now. Beware if you do not want to prepay for a package.

I was helped by Melissa and robert today. They were both inviting, kind, and informative throughout the whole prices. They made the experience very pleasant and easy. We were in and out of the building after consult and procedure in about a half hour. Rob, did a great job at being precise and expedient about the procedure, while doing his best to keep the area iced and as painless as possible. Overall less painful than I anticipated. Getting laser removal done for the first time was stressful, but going forward, I’m excited and eager to continue this process. I’d highly recommend the removery and these two employees to anyone seeking to rectify some poor decisions.

I had my free consultation and first treatment a few days ago. I could not possibly be more impressed by the level of professionalism and expertise displayed by Matt and Erin, the co-owners/operators. Having to remove a tattoo is unfortunate. But if you find yourself in need of doing so, I recommend this place, without reservation.

I searched across town in Cincinnati for tattoo removal services. Once I visited Removery in Bellevue it was hands down the easiest choice after seeing there facility, staff and prices. I more than highly recommend Removery. Other places cost more and didn’t provide as many visits. And I just love the staff, they are worth mentioning twice in a review!

We did not receive service from Uninked, but we spent an afternoon working with them to create a video. They were so knowledgeable about what they do and really love providing top service to their clients. They were friendly and fun to be around. We would absolutely recommend visiting Kim and Matts shop if you are looking to have this service done!

Near the end of my removal (seven sessions done) and it has been a very good experience. The staff is great. They walk you through each treatment session. Very efficient. They always run on time. I am looking forward to the final result. So far I am very pleased.

I have a great experience working with Melissa Melissa always keep me updated and educated on any changes on the process and procedures. I am on appointments 7th and I can see a dramatic change, they stop recommending using numbing cream, this was my first time actually getting it without numbing cream,, and the pain level is high, but its three min process. Black ink hurts the most, color not so much.

Im so glad I decided to come here and get my tattoo process started. Ann and Blake were wonderful, polite, and extremely professional. From the time I sat down, had a procedure done, and went over all the paperwork I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Ann was very thorough and went over everything beforehand. Saw advertising for them on a billboard and spent more time looking into tattoo removal by them. I scheduled my free consultation online and went in to talk about numerous tattoos I wanted removed, they explained everything thoroughly to me and answered any and all of my numerous questions. Confident in what theyre doing, I jumped right in and had my first session for three separate tattoos. I am very excited to see the end goal!

I feel like this place has a shady way of doing business. I was told there were discounts available for removal of hate symbol tattoos before the consultation. At the consultation, they said there would be no discounts. Second, the consultation is purely to get you physically in the door and to give their sales pitch. There is literally nothing you need to be there for bc all they do is take a pic of your tattoo and measure it very approximately, answer like 8 yes or no questions on health history. Anyway, they are more expensive that everyone else Ive gotten quotes on. Maybe they offer a quality service, I could not say bc I havent tried it, but it was turned off immediately by how they do business.

Everyone is great at Uninked! They help to make you feel comfortable during your appointment, and are very transparent as to how long it’ll take to remove your tattoo/ how much it’ll cost. I can’t believe my tattoo is almost gone!

When I went in for a consultation, I was skeptical. I began treatments in September 2017 and couldnt be happier. Many of my friends have tried tattoo reduction or removal with horror stories. Invisible ink has an amazing staff and their technology is superior to anything in the area. My tattoo was large and dark from the beginning. The lidocaine numbing cream applied an hour or two before each treatment makes it almost pain free. The process is much smoother than expected. About 1 more treatment and it will be completely gone. I have referred several friends to Invisible Ink and will continue to do so because the results are amazing and the process and people are great too!

I have contacted a FEW times in regards to cancelling my package. Have not heard anything back from them AT ALL. I live 2 hours away, and drive to have my terrible tattoo removed. I loved the results of the picoway laser. I have had the clinic manager walk in on my treatment while someone was waiting in and make me feel extremely uncomfortable.

Id like to think Im pretty familiar with the tattoo industry; Ive had my share of professional tattoos and some regrettable home tattoos for over 15 years..I love expressing myself through ink and art; I guess thats why Im nearly covered head to toe. They are really great, honestly amazing. Each session it gets harder and harder to deal with pain wise but they help me manage the pain by communicating with them. They let me get comfortable however works best for me.

Got there early, but they didnt take me back until 15 minutes AFTER my appointment. They waited on the appointment before mine, who was late, to get there and took her first (even though I had been sitting there), causing them to run 15 minutes behind for my appointment.

The staff are friendly and the location is clean. But I was surprised to learn that, after agreeing to “pay as I go” a certain fee when I started the removal process, I would have to pay almost $60 more than what was agreed upon initially. This was never disclosed to me. It’s disappointing as I should’ve been told this from the start.

I received a consultation which resulted in being turned away for having a Keloid scar near the tattoo. I understand the company’s policy on that now. I wish I knew that before I went in.
