Drawn to the Surface Tattoo

This is my go to shop for all my ink now. I had an okay experience elsewhere, but Drawn to the Surface is next level. Codie Sours is my guy, but each artist here is phenomenal at their own thing(s) and its really one stop shop!

Hands down the best tattoo shop in the area. I highly recommend any of their artists.

If you are looking for a tattoo shop, this is the place. Very professional and welcoming environment. Olivia is an amazing artist, who has done all of my work so far, but every artist who works there is crazy talented. The artist who work here make you feel like a friend when you come in for some work. Really clean shop. Ive included several pictures of tattoos Ive got done here, because theres no better way to help than seeing the work that gets done there. I recommend this shop to anyone!

Best Tattoo Shop around! The atmosphere is professional yet laid back and friendly. Everyone employed here does awesome tats. My personal favorites are Paul and Brandon. If you want a quality tattoo at an affordable price, I would highly recommend this shop.

No problem sitting for hours as they have great music and a cool atmosphere. The artist are incredible. Tyler has done a cover up for me and 2 other big pieces so far and others for friends, and we arent done yet. This place is where you need to go...no questions asked.

Do you want an artist who cares about your work as much or more than you do? These are the guys to go to! Their love for art and tattooing shows in their work. Great dudes with awesome personalities. Great place with great artists that has skill and talent! Very professional most of all Clean and Sterile. Seen a lot of people I know with 5 star ratings. Glad I decided to go there and support a business from my home town. Brandon thank you, you were fantastic and I am one happy person!

Awesome people with awesome tattoos. They are not only extremely great at their craft, but they really want you to love your tattoo. Ky did my friend and my tattoos and did great without taking a super long time. Definitely would love to get more tattoos here.

All the artists here are amazing! I see Brandon Robinson but anytime Im in there all the other artist will make convo with you and definitely make you laugh. Very comfortable environment with all amazing artists. Highly recommend.

I first found out about drawn to the surface when they were at inkcarceration this year. I met Paul and he started helping me do some work on my arm that I have been wanting done. His artwork is amazing and his opinion is always honest. I really like working with him and dont mind driving from Indiana for a session.

Unfortunately I had to update this review from 5 down to 3 stars.. Since getting my artwork I made another appointment, sadly something came up and I couldnt make that appt so I stopped up with money in hand at my appt time and asked to reschedule and left $20 for either a good faith down payment or I said I would even pay it for such a late cancelation (mind you the artist wasnt even there yet for my original appt time) I left my number for when the artist did show up to call me to reschedule. The guy taking my money and number even said it was cool I even did that. So I left thinking maybe a week then Id have another appt. or at least a phone call.. Nope, nothing, I have even reached out through email and social media, its been 2 months and not even a courtesy call or response to say anything. So Im guessing either business is going to his head or hes just becoming that lazy and unprofessional. Sad because I really had high hopes for this place to be good for the town... I did leave my original review below so you knew it wasnt the quality of the work but just how unprofessional they have become. My first review was wrote about 8 months prior to this one...ORIGINAL:Although I have only received one piece of art from this studio (so far) it was quality work and I enjoyed the artists company very much. I also enjoyed the laid back atmosphere they provided. Pricing is reasonable and there is a cute bakery across the street if you need to take a quick break during your session (artist permitting of course). Hours vary as it goes by your appointment day/time. Contact them through social media or email.Sidenote: Another reason I personally like Drawn to the Surface is because they preserved a piece of Bellevue history by saving the old newspaper building. Kudos guys, it makes you just that much more unique than the other studios. ❤

Some of the best artist around, no matter what you get you wont be disappointed. The shop is clean and the guys are professional and do everything that they can to give you a tattoo that you will absolutely love. My first choice when I go to get a new piece done!

They are great artists, but I wouldnt trust them near my skin again. Who yaks about their deeply personal relationship problems and irrelevant industry feuds while your skin is at their mercy?Of course, during a session, the artist admitted he had barely slept and was tired as he was chugging an energy drink because of said relationship problems. It was my first experience getting a tattoo, so I just went along with it.It seemed unprofessional, to say the least.

Probably the best tattoo shop in the area. These guys know what they are doing and are very professional. The shop is clean and easy to find. Took my daughter here for her first tattoo i wouldnt have done it if i didnt think these guys are the best around.

Super awesome vibe. My wife got a tattoo and we spent about 7 hours here, all of the artists are super friendly and definitely keep you entertained 😂
