Love this place and all the amazing people in it!!! Fan-freaking-tastic artist!! And awesome shop! I always feel so comfortable in there with everyone so happy and smiley 😄 I’ve been in a lot of different tattoo shops and most of them want to give the impression that there scary badasses, witch is cool don’t get me wrong, I totally get it lol! but! These guys are just 100% legit 🤘 and they give fake/temporary tattoos for kids!! That’s so sweet and adorable! AND they allow service animals!! Trust me I know because I brought in my 15 foot Velociraptor! Haha!! Just awesome! Thank you for being so cool with everything you guys!

I love this tattoo shop! Its an amazing enviroment, its like a home away from home. All the artist are super friendly and welcoming. Theyre very professional and cleanly. Im very happy with all the tattoos Ive got done here and the aftercare instructions were easy to follow. Highly reccomend this place for your next tattoo!

UNTRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE FROM TATTOOS TO ORDERS. As one can easily see this shop gives one excuse in someones review and then another excuse in another review for the same issue, ultimately if you compare responses it shows the person responding to these is clearly lying. Get off the drugs and maybe you can figure out how to keep your excuses the same.

Went in as a walk in initially and have had so much work done since! Emma is amazing! She will literally create a piece of art and put it on you. Her line work is smooth and colors have stayed true! I literally recommend her to ANYONE who asks about my work.

Followed these guys on TikTok for awhile they are really cool, my favorite video they made was when they gave temporary tattoos to kids that were special needs what an amazing group of humans! I recently bought a wine opener during christmas from them, the shop had a special offer with another TikTok creator it blew up they sold a lot and my order was delayed, at first I was upset because it didn’t arrive in time for a party I was going to but the team was so helpful and communicative they even sent me a second set and some vacuum sealers free for my trouble! I spoke to Jeff who was such a nice and warm helpful person and I worked with his assistant Jake and together they made my day ! When I got the package I immediately opened a bottle of wine to celebrate and I haven’t stopped drinking wine since! I should probably sold before it becomes a problem ! Thank you for getting me away from using my shoe to get into my wine! Better to be safe than sober !

I really appreciate Rhi squeezing in to make time for me when I came in the shop. Everything was quick! In and out of the shop within 10 mins. I’d definitely go back to get more piercings from her. She also did 2 of my kids’ ear piercings. Super happy abt that too

I had the pleasure of working with Carrie after I went in only for a consultation. She took the picture of the tattoo I wanted and she turned into something great! She made sure I felt comfortable the whole time while I was getting tattooed and she did an amazing job. The line work, the input of adding some shading to give it some depth and just add more to the piece truly shows her knowledge of her job! She has a great personality and she’s so sweet, I’m can’t explain how happy I am that she did this tattoo for me. Would 10/10 recommend this shop, they have a good environment and everyone who’s there is friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

I wanted to give this place a good review but I can’t. Sad to say I’ll never be back. Came in as a walk in with my friends to get small matching tattoos, but they aren’t matching. The artists didn’t coordinate with each other and all 3 tattoos are different. Also, my sandi derm was sloppily put on so it’s coming off the next day after they told me to leave it for a week yet the have me 0 after care. Not very professional.

I showed up as a walk in, Emma got me quickly, and exactly what I wanted, it was quick, pain free and the lines turned out absolutely incredible, I can’t wait to make up my mind on shading or water color back ground ❤️ thank so much Emma!

Staff was nice but tattoo is awful. I had my fingers tattoo and although it is difficult spot to work on. The artist did not go deep enough and the tattoos are virtually gone. I paid a huge amount of money for absolutely nothing. I also felt like they weren’t very interested in doing the tattoo and was I handed over to someone with just a year of experience. Super disappointed on my experience.

Got my nose piercing done by Rhi today, she was amazing! Talked me through the steps as she was doing them and made me super comfortable. Provided me with care instructions, she was efficient with attention to detail. She will definitely be my go to for future piercings.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!! I ordered a product on December 5th for a Christmas Gift and it has never shown up! They won’t send me any shipping info even though I have asked multiple times. I have also reached out to them on Facebook about this but they read my messages and then never replied. They will steal your money!

Ordered a wine opener like a few other reviews on this page. Ordered in early December, no tracking info and have emailed them directly on several occasions with no response. No way to recoup your money either. This place is a scam

Rhi changed out a piercing to a beautiful piece she just got in.She gave me my second helix.I will definitely be back for more.She knows her stuff and was great on figuring where it would best to place my second piercing as I couldn’t make up my own mind 😂 I highly recommend her 😊💥💥💥

The shop is clean and comfortable. Absolutely LOVE my new placement. I had a wonky tongue piercing for YEARS from when I was a teenager. Rhiannon re-did it correctly for me and I couldnt be happier!

Great shop very clean and sanitary. Rusty was a great tattoo artist. He explained everything that was happening and worked through the design with me there to make sure it was what I wanted. The overall piece turned our really awesome and had good clean lines throughout. Jeff the owner was up front in the shop tattooing. Though he spent his time working on a really great and inspiring piece he took the chance to welcome people when they came in without degrading quality and sanitation. When all was said and done Jesse did a great job taking pictures of the final product making the experience awesome. I look forward to returning and getting another piece of art next time Im in town.

Ive been coming to this shop on and off for years, and all the tattoos Ive gotten here are amazing! As of now Im working on a back piece with Jeff (who is an magnificent artist who was able to just sketch up my beautiful piece in less than 10 minutes) and he is so understanding, kind, and extremely versatile. The passion he has for tattooing is obvious as soon as you walk into his shop, it doesnt hurt that I get to watch movies while getting tattoos as well 😉

I stopped by today for my piercing and had a wonderful experience. The shop is so bright and clean. And everyone there was so kind. Corlee, was amazing at getting my piercings even. And the process was so easy. Ill definitely come back and recommend them to friends in the area.

As far as tattoos go, experience was fast and done perfectly to request. Cass even took my group in after hours to get us in :) 10/10 experience, very clean and super nice and comforting!

My gf and I went in to see Dave and Kass looking to get some walk in work done, the environment was very welcoming, everyone was nice and inviting, Kass was ready when we got there, very professional and clean station. she was also able to fit my gf in too. we left with two tattoos that were both very happy with. would recommend.

I am just going to hop on here and write a lil review on how my experience was today when I came into the shop , I was setting up an appointment to get a tattoo and I was un aware that tattoo shops can ask u personal questions where u work what u do for work and if u have any life goals like I didn’t know that was a thing ? But that’s never happened to me before I’ve been to plenty of tattoo shops and never got that. It was the rudeness for me and the extra charging for a small tattoo. And the lady who was setting my appotattoo weird I just found that really disrespectful. all my tattoos have a meaning behind them and I didn’t appreciate that at all. I felt very uncomfortable.

If I could give NO STARS, I would..Do NOT go here for a face dermal. For one they were absolutely Rude when I came in to get it checked a few months after, when they gave me zero instructions on how to properly care after. For it to reject over a year later and when I got it removed from a professional piercing shop, they even quoted this place doesn’t know what they are doing.. I took the most care of my favorite piercing with proper care after doing more research myself .. Big thanks and Shout Out to Jeff Holmes, who was also extremely rude and cocky the entire time, for ruining my dream piercing that wasn’t done properly.I Will NEVER go here again ! And will make sure to share the word with all and everyone who thinks this shop knows what they’re doing with piercing.

The staff are a fun bunch of people and very clean. Was happy with what I got and would go there for all my tattoos if it was 1.5hrs away from me, but still might end up doing it xD

Let me start off saying I created a Yelp account just to post this review and dont enjoy making a bad reviews for small shops. But when working with body piercings, professional experience and knowledge needs to be of upmost importance.I decided to go to Kalamalka because right now many shops are booked up for the year and their Google Reviews looked to be very positive, but now realize most reviews are for tattoo artists. I got a rook piercing, which I know can be very difficult and tight to pierce. The piercer knew this, but assured my anatomy was able to handle it. After my rook was pierced, screwing the top and bottom ball on the barbell took a good chunk of time to adhere. I am not sure if the piercer did not have enough experience with rooks or if my anatomy was just not a great fit for that piercing. (Which I would much rather have no piercing and know the shop values health and safety than paying for a piercing that is vulnerable to infection!)The next day a friend noticed the bottom ball of my barbell was missing. It must have fallen off at some point, but I had not touched the piercing at all. (I have my conch pierced and know other than giving the new piercing a cleaning soak, never touch it while it heals.) I wasnt able to do anything about the ball since it was long gone, but then the next day...the top ball fell out. Luckily I was able to find it and clean & screw back on.Super disappointed about this piercing, but I am going to consult a more trusted shop to get their advice. I usually wouldnt post reviews, but in this case mistakes can lead to infections. I would be wary of piercings (and tattoos as well) from this shop and spend the money on a shop that values the safety of their customer.

I got my nose re-pierced on Black Friday for $25 (including jewelry). This was my 4th time having my nose re-pierced, and the three other times were in the same spot, which caused lots of scar tissue. I was going for the same spot again, and the guy was the first one to tell me that it just isnt a good idea to pierce through the scar tissue, and what the risks would be if he were to do so. I really appreciate that he was actually looking out for me. The procedure was quick, clean, and professional.I have a tattoo that has a lot of sentimental value to me, but its over 10 years old, the artist didnt do the greatest job, and the lines are blown out. I honestly did not think that it would be possible to clean it up and give it new life, but Jeff took a quick look at it and let me know that its definitely fixable! All the artists are very kind. The atmosphere was great, and I have seen other pictures of previous work, and the pieces are beautiful! Im very excited to go in for the next few tattoos that I plan to get! I definitely recommend this place!

Had a consult appointment scheduled and ended up getting in that day because there was a cancellation. Great customer service, fair rates, and an absolutely beautiful tattoo done by Jeff! It was a cover up, so I was very very happy to get it done and couldnt be more pleased with how it turned out.

The wait was decent even for a walk in event. Checked IDs, did proper tattoo shop etiquette. I got a tattoo cover and was told to leave it for recommended time. Thats more than I got from a previous tattoo parlor who had no covering supplies. This shop kept spaces clean and used all new needles. Friendly and courteous. A+ on fandom decor too.

I showed the artist the idea I had for enhancing the image he had previously colored in. I wanted to make it look like a tiger laying in grass. Instead what I got was a fireworks type of look. A bunch of lines shooting out from the main design. Not at all what I wanted. Very disappointed.

Best state of the art, ahead of the curve Tattoo shop. The shop makes you feel like your home. Fun atmosphere with a quality group of artists. I guess other shops make you feel maybe unsafe or kinda scary. Im confident youll get a good Tattoo and what you asked for not whatever the artist decided to turn your idea into. I can remember taking my daughter to a shop and the artist laughed at her because she wanted words that meant the world to her on her leg.. At this shop, I dont see it happening. I see them embracing your feelings about the Tattoo and the memories or whatever it is to you. Cheers!!

I was finally able to get my memorial tattoo for my dog Smudge. Rusty did an amazing job helping me decide what I wanted. He has an amazingly light hand. I have gotten a lot of compliments on my tattoo. Rusty even made me happy cry and gave me a hug. I will definitely continue to have Rusty tattoo me. Thanks Rusty I love it.

I came to the shop with a picture of a design one of my 7th grade students drew for me. Rusty did an exact replica of this artwork and I LOVE it!!! Sean talked me into a different tattoo than I had drawn, then did not give me proper after care instructions for foot tattoos. He did not even explain to not wear shoes or flip flops, or to stay off my feet as long as possible. It did get infected as a result. Jeff was NOT friendly...staff was cliquey. Will not be going back...miss Litha, who started Kalamalka!

The freaking owner purposely messed up my tattoo. Now instead of saying you. It says yon, I went while a friend got her tattoo done by the owner, well he mentioned he sometimes messes up people tattoos, but only people he doesnt like... I enjoyed the shop and the people there so I went to get my first tattoo and after getting it someone pointed out the mistake. With the conversation I had when my friend got her tattoo it all made sense. Worst of all my sister got a matching tattoo because its disign was to honor my mother, and the owner messed hers up too. Dont go here its bad business

The worst experience ive ever had at a tattoo shop. Super rude. Long story short I ended up not even getting the tattoo I wanted. Lost my business that day and everyday. Srongly advise going somewhere else.
