I cannot rant and rave about Jon, his service, and this place enough. From day 1, Jon was honest about the process. He was upfront about the cost, the time frame, and the discomfort. I never had a tattoo removed before so I had no idea what to expect but everything Jon told me on day one was accurate and honest throughout my time there. I ultimately ended up going for 5 sessions spaced out over 2 years until the tattoo was faded enough that I could get it covered. The best review I could leave Jon, New Wave, or anyone considering a removal here is this... my sessions lasted 40 seconds. No joke. 40 seconds. And I drove nearly 2 hours ONE WAY to get there each time without second guessing it. How many businesses would you drive almost 4 hours round trip to spend a single solitary minute?? Exactly. If you want a tattoo removed and are serious about doing so, go there.

I’ve been desperate to get this tattoo completely removed and even though I have been going somewhere else to get treatments I decided to come here based off of the reviews. John is such a caring and honest person and he explained to my in depth of why it would be dangerous to get treatments done too frequently. I’m a brown girl and to protect the integrity of my skin it was recommended to not go through with a session due to already having one done a couple weeks ago from another place I go to. He could have easily just took my money but he didn’t and gave me what I needed to hear. My only complaint is not finding this place out sooner before getting locked into a contract with another place. I highly recommend John’s services!!!

After a quick Google search of tattoo removal near me, I came across New Wave. It took all of two seconds for me to read Jonathans positive reviews and decide to drive over an hour for my very first removal experience. Jonathan is knowledgeable and honest- he described exactly what it would feel like, how long it would take, and that there was really nothing to be nervous about. New Wave is clean, professional, and timely. Another plus for me was that he actually answered the phone for my first point of contact, another reason I drove an hour away because my local place ignored my inquiries. I was able to schedule an appointment within three days. I will be returning without a doubt!

New Wave is the ONLY place to go for tattoo removal. I’ve been going to Jonathan for over a year and he always makes me comfortable and does everything with safety in mind. He knows exactly how to adjust the lasers according to skin tone, size of tattoo, line weight, etc. He has lots of certifications on display and has really fair prices. He really knows what he’s doing and I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else.

I started my tattoo removal journey 664 days ago. I searched high and low to find a reputable place. I found Jon at new wave in oct 2018. The place was very clean and he was able to give me appointment times/days that were very convenient for my busy schedule. I drove an hour and ten minutes for each session. He set all the expectations up front (costs, approx amount of sessions, time it would take, showed pics/examples, etc.) and answered all of my questions. Pricing was very reasonable compared to others. Equipment / technology was newer - great shape - super clean. Fast forward to today - almost 2 years and 7 full sessions later, the 6x6” meaningless tribal tattoo that was on my back for the last 20 years is gone!The tattoo had red, orange, yellow, white, and black colors in it, and while I wanted to come back every 8 weeks because I was impatient, but Jon helped guide me into making the right decision in order to give me the best possible outcome. Sometimes that meant that I just needed allow some extra time between. His expertise kept me in check and I’m glad I listened (most of the time) because I am happy with the results. I always felt comfortable. Jon was super receptive and did a nice job. Thanks for putting up with my compulsiveness the last couple years Jon.I highly recommend Jon and new wave.

Just started my tattoo removal process with John and my experience so far has been wonderful looking forward to completing my journey with him. Very knowledgeable he explained the process in detail(what to expect, do’s and don’ts, provided ointment after my services), he’s fixable with his time and appointments(I explained to him that I wasn’t good with keeping appointments and every time I go on the website the appointment I wanted wasn’t available he allow me to come right in on a Saturday). Not to mention his prices are reasonable. Over all a great experience so far.

Let me just say that my visit here was super memorable! Jon was very detailed with his explanation of the procedure and with his answers to my questions during my check in. Little did I know, the actual event of tattoo removal would be one for the books. I fainted a few minutes into the removal process! And no, the pain wasnt unbearable; It literally feels like rubber bands snapping on your skin and nothing more.Anyway, Jon was very professional and caring when the event happened. He provided me with plenty of water, a fan, a couch, a garbage can, and turned off the majority of the office lights so I can recover as quickly as possible. He sat down and talked with me through the entire event and helped provide reassurance. When I was able to finally sit/stand up on my own, we rescheduled my appointment and he provided me with some sound advice so I can try and avoid fainting in the future. My laser removal treatments were stretched out over the course of about two years and I am really happy with the results. What was once a red and black tattoo on my shoulder, is now a hardly noticeable (albeit still healing) couple of spots-which will most likely go away over time. Great work very quick and accurate, great prices too I was shocked when he told me how much it would cost to get me and my fathers tattoos removed. I have had two removal sessions so far and Jon has been wonderful. He was upfront and honest about the cost and the removal process. Jon is amazing. I have had approx. 12 treatments on two tattoos . I had a very bright tattoo on my foot and also one on my thigh I wanted him to remove. Its been almost two years that I have known Jon . I researched several places but was never quite happy with the responses I received and something just didnt feel right about the places I visited and or the people I spoke with. I never really got the sense I was in good hands. Then I met Jon. Ill never forget my teenage daughter went with me and the moment we walked in to his office I had a very safe and warm feeling. I couldnt get over how clean and sanitary it was and still is. He took all the time I needed to tell me exactly how the process worked, about how long it would take, and I respected his honesty about how difficult it may be to get all of the ink out of my foot. It posed a challenge. I will say he was up for it. I think what impressed me most about him was that he actually helped design the machine that he uses to make sure every little detail could be handled. Ive seen horrific pictures of people from other places that have had removals and the blisters and the scarring that occurred were horrendous. I think everyone looking to get a tattoo removed needs to understand it is a process and it does take time and the more color the longer it takes. If you dont mind blisters, burns or scarring by all means go to the other people because you will not have that with Jon. I knew how long upfront and was prepared to wait it out to have it removed safely. My first appointment/removal session with Jon was one of great detail as well as comfortability. I walked into his office 9 days ago on 10/31/2016 with all my info and questions at hand. As a nursing student I know the 2 most important factors contributing to a successful removal are the qualifications of the person performing the procedure as well as the type of equipment used for this procedure. Jon being fully certified, qualified, empathetic, and careful with my skin made me feel completely comfortable working with him. As for his equipment, do a little research and Im sure you will see why I consider it one of the best in the business.As for the procedure, I really didnt even think it was all that bad.. feels just like hot rubber bands snapping against your skin. I personally feel that the tattoo hurt a lot worse, not to mention my procedure took about 15-20 min so distract your mind for a few minutes and you done.. aftercare was simple, just keep it clean and dry, apply a little Neosporin and in 2 days the sunburn feeling is gone. I definitely feel 100% better about this process as I was little worried after reading some of these horror stories online with pain and scaring. Like I said, Jon was super careful with my skin and for that Im extremely grateful for him and his establishment. This is the second place Ive been to for tattoo removal and I came across it simply by accident on Groupon just st the time I needed it.Let me start by saying the first thing youll notice is how clean and calming youll find the reception area.Then the Owner/Operator will take you back to the laser room and start your selected procedure. But, before anything, he will carefully go over your medical history, medications, previous attempts at removal, and he will photograph the area to be done to document your progress. He will then throughly prep the area prior to the laser treatment to make it as painless as possible.Now, I have to tell you, getting a tattoo removed is much more painful than having one put on, so think BEFORE you ink!! Having said that, this has been an excellent process!! I had a solid black 4 bird on my inner wrist, and thanks to New Wave Laser Tattoo Removal, its almost gone.But they dont just remove tattoos! They have laser facials the help with fine lines and sun spots. I had that today and it was so enjoyable I nearly fell asleep!!I highly recommend this place!! A hidden gem!!!

He spent a lot of time going over everything in the consultation. I didnt feel rushed or pressured. I was pretty informed before I walked in but still new questions came up. Its only been 24 hours since the treatment so I dont know overall how the results will be as of yet but I can say within these 24 hours, some grey has already disappeared. Its not always price when you make a decision like this, its also who is treating you. I had a good feeling so I went for it. My tattoo is on the large side. my entire deltoid and 1/2 my bicep.

Very very clean inside and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I went in to remove a tattoo and he took his time and didn’t rush things. I will definitely be going back and referring people to him!

Jon was amazing and honest. I had my consultation and got treated right away, I was referred by a co worker and it was the best referral ever. Worth the hour and 35 minute drive!

First of all this place is clean, and has the newest laser, Johnathan is great ,caring and professional and explains everything and in all a great place to get that unwanted ink be gone and also can lighten you ink to make it a better cover-up, and I believe he just started facials too,highly recommend!!!

Love that this tattoo removal didn’t hurt at all. I was shocked. I was expecting it to be horrible but it was only a very slight burn if that. I was also in and out in 20 minutes :)

I love this guy! I’m always a pain in the ass for him and he so patient with me we have some good conversations and laugh a lot his work really does a huge difference. I also take all his candy and he never gets me for stealing lol we have a normal friend ship I look at him as my friend n he thinks I’m crazy lol so it evens out.
