Shoutout to my boy Josh at Soul Glow Tattoo Shop—the best tattoo artist in the Bethlehem area! I recently got a tattoo from him, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From the moment I walked into the shop, I was impressed. It was immaculate, and the walls were covered in Josh’s incredible art, which gave the whole place a trendy, artistic vibe.During my consultation, I brought in a very specific picture of what I wanted, and Josh captured that vision perfectly. His talent blew me away! I’m already booked for my next appointment in a few weeks for another piece and also planning to get some cover-up work done on old tattoos I’m not feeling anymore.If you’re in the market for some fresh ink, definitely hit up my guy Josh. You won’t be disappointed—he’s a true artist in every sense of the word!

Best first tattoo experience imaginable! Josh came highly recommended by a friend and he certainly did not disappoint. Soul Glow Electric Ink is one of the best studios I have ever been to. I have sat in Josh’s chair for nearly 50 hours getting some of the most creative and vibrant art work tattooed on my body. When I come to Josh with a concept he brings it to life making it better then I could have imagined. I am complimented almost daily on my tattoos. All of my tattoos have healed very quickly and without any problems. They have never scabbed or lost ink. I highly recommend this studio if you want artistic and quality work done!

READ READ READ!!!!!!Walked in on a “Walk in Wednesday” with my girlfriend and cousin. Josh and Caro were the most hospitable people ever!! They played music, recommended nearby take out restaurants and allowed us to eat while waiting, shared candy, taught us about their 3d printer, and killed several spiders when my gf panicked they were “too close”! They took the time to talk to us, draw out our tattoo designs, and provided a very chill atmosphere for us to relax while waiting for all of our tats to be done. We were there at least 8 hours and they never once made us feel like burdens or in the way. Caro is an incredible drawer and listens to what you’re asking for in a design! Josh is incredibly gentle and detailed when transferring the ink to your body. They make a great team, and the shop itself is suuucchhhhh a chill vibe. All three of us walked out with decent sized, detailed, and “just what we wanted” gorgeous pieces of art! Major shout out to Josh who grinded nonstop making sure we all walked out with a tat, and loved the way it looked! You can tell he is very dedicated to his job, and loves nothing more than creating art for people! Our tattoos look SO GOOD. The line work is damn near perfect and the shading is to die for. None of us got color, but we saw him doing color work, and I can confidently say I’m definitely going to plan a color tat with him in the future. I will 100% be seeing them again, and have already recommended this shop to everyone whose asked about my new tat. Can’t say enough good things about the experience and these people, you’ll have to just go see for yourself!!

I cannot say enough good things about Joshua and and the team at Soul Glow Electric Ink. I was initially very anxious to set up this piece, it’s my first big tattoo and I had previously had some bad experiences with other shops. Immediately during our initial call Joshua helped to ease my anxiety and walked me through every step of the process. I loved what I saw of his work online and was really excited to see what he would bring to the piece I had in mind. His excitement about the piece was palpable and it made for such a great experience. Again throughout my entire session I felt completely comfortable and taken care of. He answered all of my questions and and met all of my concerns. I am absolutely enamored with how the piece came out. I would highly recommend this studio!

Saw Joshua twice in July - once to refresh tattoos my husband and I had gotten 25 years before, the second time to finish a tattoo I got in Italy that was inadvertently missing a word. Both times he was amazingly professional, helpful, improved on our ideas. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend!!

I’ve gotten several tattoos from Josh. And all of them have been phenomenal! His work have been just beautiful and masterpieces. Wanted my first tattoo ever and theres no one else I would trust with it. Joshuas line work is exquisite. He was patient and careful and did the most AMAZING subtle coloring. I absolutely love my bee! The shop is clean and bright and welcoming and Josh was thorough and detailed with the aftercare instructions. Just the best. First time tattoo and would not ask for anyone other than Josh!! From the moment I went in for a consultation I knew that I wanted to go through with him and his amazing skill. He was kind, informative, and patient with a first timers questions. A few years ago at this point I walked in to Soul Glow Electric Ink and met Joshua. I have never in my life felt more comfortable and at ease talking to a stranger. Joshuas shop is insanely nice and fun with lots of amazing original artwork hanging on the walls and just has an indescribable vibe to it. The first tattoo I got there was a neon outline of an octopus for my son who is in love with all things sea creatures (I plan on doing an underwater half sleeve in the near future). The tattoo turned out better than I could have imagined and I get so many compliments on it every time I am out. People love the coloring and also the look of it.Last week my family came to visit from Texas and my aunt, uncle, and cousin wanted to get tattoos so I mentioned the walk-in Wednesdays at Soul Glow. Joshua gladly did all 4 of our tattoos and accomplished our visions perfectly! Everyone left so happy and we even got some photos of the tattoos at my wedding!!Joshuas wonderful apprentice also did a small tattoo on myself and my uncle. Usually don’t do reviews, but I have to do about this place. I was getting a tattoo done by someplace else and did not like how it was going I was a little worried it was screwed up and no one would take it on to fix it searched around and found SOUL GLOW ink tattoo in Bethlehem and I am super glad I went there and Joshua, took care of me. He went above and beyond what I was thinking of how it would be fixed. This place is totally awesome. Josh is a great person and excellent artist. Price was a little too high for finger tattoos that took about an hour to complete. But I am happy with the way they all came out.

There is a reason this is the only 5* parlor in Bethlehem I found. Josh can do it all but his specialty is color his coverup work looks great as well. Cleanest lines around his work is hanging all over winning plenty of awards. The shop is super clean also. Hes so friendly and open just a real person. Also dont forget to tag the bathroom of youre there and get something done chalkboard walls >⁠.⁠

Round 2 of my She-Ra tattoo! If i could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Joshua really packed the whites in and the art is popping off my skin! I am so happy with my piece and with every step of this process. I must have called the studio every day (if not twice a day) asking questions about my tattoo and the aftercare but Joshua and Caro always made me feel taken care of and answered all of my questions. I have recommended this studio to several of my friends and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is loooking for a chill experience and an absolutely gorgeous tattoo!

So I was looking to get my first tattoo. I called so many places. Joshua answered the phone very professional and told me that he could take me in that day. So with this being my first tattoo he was very respectful and courteous. He let me pick the font I wanted and he was very patient with me. I am very happy with his work. It was my first time here and Joshua did my tattoos he did amazing I loved how they turned out. He had so many selections of colors too. He knows what he was doing , on his digital Ipad it had sooo many options of fonts and he was able to print out a bunch of different sizes and lengths so you can get exactly what you want. He is easy to get along with and talk too, I’ll be going back for my bigger tattoo. He does do walk in Wednesday so if you want a 4x4 tattoo or smaller and don’t want to wait for an appointment you can go there !

I had a great experience at this shop. The artist, Josh, and his wife, Amy were very kind and welcoming. The shop was very clean and very well decorated, even the bathroom had an amazing ambiance. If I have any color work I want done I will most definitely be back again. Regardless, I see myself returning to get more artwork done.

Josh and I had plans to complete a black out tattoo, he had me place a $200 deposit. In late November I had an appointment scheduled for 1pm on a Sunday for a second session. However, 10 minutes before my appointment, his apprentice calls me and tell me they need to reschedule because Josh had a concussion. That would be fine and all but they tried to reschedule me for 2 days later. Anyone who has had a concussion knows it lasts between a week or two. Assuming he hit his head that Sunday, he would not be in a good place to be tattooing someone. And if he had hit his head prior, he should have given me more ample notice. My time is just as valuable.I had wanted to cancel future sessions and receive my deposit back which I made clear to Josh. To this, he told me I was trying to use his concussion to “weasel” my deposit back. He was overall very rude and told me he wasn’t going to give it back. I feel based on principle, me holding my end of the bargain, and wasting a day of mine, he would be professional and return the deposit for a mistake he made. However, I experienced quite the opposite. Not to mention, the first pass was very very patchy, overworked, and took 4 weeks to heal completelyDefinitely will not be going back. There are many more amazing tattoo artists in the area that charge significantly less.

I got my first tattoo at age 28. I got a hockey mask on my upper arm that was a tribute to Eminem(Slim Shady). I was unhappy with it from the beginning but i kept it for a year. Then Josh did a coverup for my wife and i showed him it and he just said i can make that look sick and thats exactly what he did. Hes already done 2 more tattoos for me and were planning many more for the future . I have definitely found my life-long tattoo artist and I would never go anywhere else.
