Garden City Tattoo

I went to garden city for the first time today and got a large tattoo with Dani Williams. She was absolutely amazing. The tattoo she designed is beautiful and contains every important detail I had told her about. She puts a lot of care into her work and also checking in on how you’re doing :) I can’t wait to come back!!

I’ve been coming here since they opened and each time in is a great experience. Everyone is friendly, professional, helpful and skillful. I come to get tattooed by Tom but truly each artist on the team is a talent. It’s easily a 30-40 minute drive from the city but also very easily accessible by public transit, just a quick walk from the Beverly commuter rail stop. The vibe in the shop is always welcoming and whenever I leave i look forward to my next time back! thank you!

Amazing experience!! Artists were extremely cool and professional. We walked in on a Saturday and got exactly what we wanted! I could not be happier with the results. Thank you all so much for making our Salem trip even better!

I’ve been contemplating getting my first tattoo for years - noticed that the apprentice Chris was tattooing here and I knew I had to get something done. I felt welcome when I walked through the door, and everyone was so kind. Cannot recommend Garden City enough. I will certainly be back. There are many talented artists with incredible work. Great spot to get any style of tattoo. Expect a 2-3 month wait. But definitely worth the wait. I had dani Williams. She was amazing. I would recommend her for any of your tattoo needs!!

Super clean & professional shop - Chris was easy to work with, I will be back!

I went for their opening weekend and got a tattoo by Andrew. Everyone there was professional, fun, and most of all very talented! The tattoo was clean, quick, and easy, and the colors he used were beautiful! Andrew and I had great conversation and he made sure to check in with me throughout the tattoo to see how I was doing. The shop is very clean and covered with all types of awesome art. The work they do is wonderful and I am already looking forward to going back for more!

My wife and I have been tattooed by all of the current artists at Garden City Tattoo (Andrew, Tom, Jon, and Dani) and we recommend all of them for high quality tattoos as well as their friendly personalities! The shop is clean with lots of natural sunlight and painted with a nice uplifting color scheme amongst all the radical flash designs. Street parking was available right in front and it was the meters where you can prepay for hours instead of running out to feed it quarters in the middle of a tattoo. Why are you still reading this review when you could be headed over there for a tat already?!

Dave Atherton is a beast. This place is excellent. The whole team is friendly and they do Flash on Saturday to make it easier for people that can’t wait for appointments. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Got an appointment with Andrew Bixby. Booking was easy through his Instagram, he lays out all the rules and stipulations prior to you deciding to book.The day of my appointment there was a big snow storm, he contacted me well in advance to make sure I could still make it down and offered to reschedule if the conditions were uncomfortable for me to travel.Garden City follows all COVID guidelines which made my experience there comfortable and gave me peace of mind. The shop itself is very clean and had a ton of cool flash artwork from artists who work there as well as friends and other artists from around the world.The session itself was easy. I got exactly what I was looking for out of my piece. I will definitely come back for more work in the future!

Fantastic shop, highly recommended! Got a piece from Putur a couple weeks ago and it looks awesome. Bixby, Putur, and Tom W. are really nice guys and extremely talented artists. The store itself is beautiful and clean, the huge glass windows make it very bright and inviting, and they have an amazing collection of flash on the walls. Absolutely get your work done here!

Bixby and Pooty are my favorite tattoo artists in Boston for sure! They are both super fun to talk to while getting tattooed, do a great job with bright colors and tats that are built to last. They go fast and are confident, and in my opinion their tattoos hurt less than other artists I’ve seen. I always leave excited to book my next appointment. 10/10 will always go back to these guys and am excited to try the other artists at the shop.

My experience have been amazing! Great staff, amazing service. They are knowledgeable, they are passionate in what they do. They make sure that you’re comfortable in every step of the way, to make sure you get exactly what you envision.

I got my 1st ever tattoo here from Jonathan Putur. I picked from one of his flash disgns. I felt like he spent time and took the tattoo really seriously. A real professional. He must have also been very gentle as I got a colorized tattoo and felt virtually no pain just a slight tingle.I plan on getting more tattoos here from Putur and some of the other artists. It has been 2+ weeks and the tattoo is mostly fully healed and looks as good as it did when it was fresh.

I have been Tattoo’d many times by Tom Wiklund and it has always been a wonderful experience and I’ve always been so satisfied with his work. Clean, quick, and a light hand, his technique and designs are incredible and always exciting to see what comes next from him. I also have been tattoo’d by Jonathon Putur aka Pooty! I love Pooty’s style and take on traditional work, I can’t wait to get more from Pooty! I have yet to be tattoo’d by Bix but it is very much on my to do list! I always have enjoyed Bix’s presence in the shop while I’m being tattoo’d by Tom, very funny and supportive just great energy. Can’t wait to be tattoo’d by Biz sometime soon! A+ group of tattooers!

This is the best shop in the entire state mof Massachusetts. Bixby and Pooty are so very kind and absolute taticians (tattooer + magicians). If you want the most amazing tattoo come to this shop.
