Good Mojo Tattoos

Lauren did my first tattoo about a year ago and its looking great! She did a gorgeous freehand design for me and created a calm environment during the whole session for this tattoo newbie. She gives an energy of truly enjoying the art she creates, which is so important in a tattoo artist.

Inkwitch Lisa is my artist - shes so talented and fun, and Ive speny many, many hours in her chair getting incredible work! The entire shop is beautiful and clean, and Mulysa, the other artists, and the desk staff are so friendly and cool.

I had a great experience at good mojo today!! Jax was my artist and she was super fun, uplifting and accommodating to some changes I wanted to make to the design. Overall a really easy process to make the appointment and it was super quick! My new tattoo looks great!!

I got tattooed by Jax this past Friday. Making an appointment was super easy, Jax was wonderful to work with and very accomodating when it came to a few last minute tweaks to the design. We talked most of the appointment, which was so fun! It kept my mind off things and helped the time pass. A++!

I just finished my 6th tattoo at Good Mojo. This time around I had a small blip with an individual artist there and Mulysa and her staff not only made it right, but were kind, amazing, and made me cry happy tears. I have never felt so valued as a customer.I love the art there and there is a great group of artists that specialize in different styles.Im already planning my next one and Good Mojo will always get my business.

Everyone here is extremely talented and so supportive and friendly! I have had 3 tattoos here and each artist helped me with getting the exact ink that I wanted. They were so patient with me during the process of designing and at the actual time of the tattoo! My daughter also goes here and I would recommend to everyone! ps. Dont forget to tip your artist!

Got my first tattoo today- and Lisa was AH-MA-ZING. We communicated several times prior to my appointment, which as a new customer, I so deeply appreciated. I had sent an email (to her attention to the shop) and received an email, phonecall AND personal text reply from her. Lisa had been recommended so I was certain I wanted her as my artist. She was patient with tattoo placement and the skill she demonstrated was top notch. I’m so lucky to have found her!!

Been wanting a portrait and looked for a while at local shops to find an artist whose work on portraits looked worth getting. Found Mulysas IG page and saw a few of hers and was impressed. Will certainly be going back to her for any more art for my body after the great experience with her and the entire shop in general. Awesome people, easy to talk to and would highly recommend

Updated !!I cant say enough about Mulysa and her crew at Good Mojo!!! My daughter booked her first tattoo with Mulysa last week. From the first call, booking process, my follow up call as a Mom with no tattoos and lots of question. Everyone was welcoming, informative. Then, we arrived! Everyone was even more welcoming!! The salon was clean, and Mulysa was amazing! She cared for my daughter as if she was her own.when we arrived, she had designs and recommendations ready to review. She checked in with my daughters ke sure she was good. When she was done, there was some pomp and circumstance, having received her first tattoo!! A gift bag with a necklace, and sticker, Good Mojo bumper sticker, as well as complete and detailed care instructions. I would highly recommend Good Mojo!!!Original review!I am not sure what happened with Karen, but my daughter and I called less than 2 weeks ago, and the person on the phone was wonderful. She explained to us that we should fill out the request form online, and someone would call us back to book. My daughter completed the form, and within the hour, she received a phone call back. This is her first tattoo and it will be small (under $100). They were very responsive, and were very helpful when I call back to make the deposit and ask some questions. This is not only my daughters first tattoo, but I do not have any myself.Explained to me about how we should make sure She drinks plenty of fluids and eat breakfast before she comes so that her sugar doesnt drop. Something I would have never known.Highly recommend them already!! Her appointment is in 2 weeks.

I’ve gotten 2 tattoos from Tara Chaplin in the past 5 years. The black tribal and the one to the right. She does great work and is very talented. She’s very laid back and has a great personality. I’m planning on going back to her for another by the end of the year. And she plays much better music than what the other artists were playing LOL.

I just had the best experience at Good Mojo tattoos. Starting with my phone call to make the appointment, the person I spoke to was so kind, friendly, and attentive. And when I walked in to my appointment, everyone was so friendly and cool. Everything is very efficient and professional when it comes to the admin side of things (waivers, etc). I did a small mushroom tattoo with Jax as part of the Mushroom Flash Day and she was so awesome. Super nice, she did a great job on the tattoo and worked with me to make sure that it suited exactly what I wanted. And Im obsessed with my new tattoo. This was such a great experience from start to finish and I will definitely be back!

What an amazing experience for my first tattoo. Id been planning and thinking about getting one for a long time (Im 56!) and when I asked my friends here on the North Shore, everyone suggested I work with Lisa at Good Mojo Tattoos. She was amazing! Over a few months we slowly went over my design thoughts and she came up with a few ideas. We patiently worked together to tweak it and come up with something that I felt would really combine my home country roots and my #BetheHammer attitude that has come from my 10+ years of endurance racing. Right until the day of the tattoo, Lisa openly worked with me until the design was exactly what I wanted, including changing the location of the tattoo on my body.The process itself was quick with only a slight discomfort at times. Nothing more than a bit of stinging here and there. I was given clear instructions about after-care and have been over-joyed with the final result. I dont know if there is a second tattoo in my future, but if so, it will be with Lisa at Good Mojo Tattoos.I also want to thank Melissa who scheduled all of my visits. She was courteous and so helpful as well.

Lauren Kelly is amazing. I gave her a couple of pix I liked, and she drew a completely custom tattoo that was exactly what I wanted. She did a fantastic job drawing it out, and the tattoo itself came out amazing. It took less time that expected, and the price was incredibly reasonable. I will absolutely be back!!

Sent an online request for a consult with the picture of the tattoo I wanted - no response going on two weeks.Went in a few days after I submitted that because I live nearby and the website it says, just drop by.It was Sat nite at about 7 - no one else in the shop except the woman sitting at the front desk. I asked if I could get a consult, and she said, the best thing to do is fill out an online form. I told her I had, and she said, oh, we normally get to those on the weekends. She didnt ask me anything about what I was thinking about, and was totally unhelpful and pretty unfriendly. Sorry I interrupted your scrolling to try to buy your services.I honestly felt discriminated against because Im not covered with ink - it was my first tattoo to honor my mother who just died.Went somewhere else in Beverly who gave me a consult and made an appt. for me on the spot, and when I went in they did a great job.

Ive been a patron of Good Mojo for several years now. I went in to get my 🍑 tattooed, a bit nervous because its a sensitive spot! The atmosphere was super comfortable, the artist and staff were all very kind and welcoming. It was nice to see friendly faces both faniliar and new! Also love the new shop front, I hadnt been able to visit since the move. Definitely reccomend if youre in the area (or not.. 😏 I drove about 4 hours round trip) Cant wait to go back!

The team at Good Mojo is fantastic! After having a hard time getting an appointment at a couple other places closer to my house they got me booked within a few days. The vibe there is great. Everyone is so friendly. Sarah have me an adorable owl that was exactly what I wanted. And she was so nice and just badass awesome. I will be back!!!

Great experience. I had inquired about a last minute tattoo and the front desk called me because they had a last minute cancellation. Jason was the artist I chose and I am so happy he was able to fit me in. I absolutely love my new tattoo! He was very kind, attentive and I liked his honesty with creating a piece that would work for the long run. It was a memorial tattoo for my father that I had been thinking about for the past year and he was able to bring it to life. I would definitely go back to good mojo and Jason.

My wife and I both got tattoos from Mulysa. It was my wifes first tattoo and Mulysa knew exactly how to walk her through the process. She made it fun! I came in with my own sketch but Mulysa was great about helping me refine it to make it just right. Great experience overall!

I finished up a big portrait with Selena - whos no longer here - and everything about my experience was amazing! The staff are extremely nice, the artists are incredibly talented, and the environment is welcoming and clean. Ive been recommending this parlor to family and friends for years now, and each one of them have only had positive things to say about their pieces and experiences. Love their emphasis on women empowerment in the workforce too, especially in a more traditionally male dominated field.

I’ve gotten plenty of tattoos over the years and I’ve never seen the same person twice.But after my time with Jax today, I will be back to see her 100%She give off an amazing vibe and her energy is just awesome, I’ve never come across an artist like her! Very happy with the work she did and the time spent with her, totally felt really comfortable with her. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Went to have a cover-up of an impulse tattoo that I got at another shop, years before Good Mojo opened. This is my second tattoo with Mulysa, she does amazing work and I am always confident that her shop is following the highest protocols and using the best quality materials to keep us all safe and the art looking beautiful. I especially LOVE that they offer a free touch up with a few months of service. I haven’t had to utilize that, but I have known others that have received work in areas that your waistband or bra strap rubs and they need to go back to fix something. At most shops, you’d be out of luck and have to pay to have it done, you don’t have to worry quite so much if you had one of the wonderful artists at Good Mojo, they understand that not everyone can suspend life to protect their new beloved work of art. Takes some of the pressure off. I recommend this shop to everyone, you have a lot of choices for beautiful art by talented artists, it’s nice when you can also be sure the folks helping you are good humans who stand behind their work.

Probably one of the best experiences at a tattoo shop I have ever had. I went yesterday for a walk in tattoo, and wasnt totally sure what I wanted, but the sweet girl at the desk helped me find an artist thats style I liked. Dave was wonderful and did an amazing job. After two hours the girl from the desk could tell I was getting antsy and came in and talked with me. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I will definitely be recommending Good Mojo and Dave to my friends!

I have gone here for all three of my tattoos and recommend them to anyone. Everyone at Good Mojo is so friendly and welcoming. I have worked exclusively with Inkwitch Lisa and I love all of the work she has done. I know others who have worked with other artist there and I have yet to see a piece that wasnt very well done. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about Good Mojo and I don’t want this review to deter anyone from getting work done there, however, my personal and first experience was extremely disappointing. The tattoo artist, Sarah, misspelled “phenomenal.” (She put an “a” where the second “e” was supposed to go, as seen in the first picture) When she put the stencil on before tattooing me, I noticed there was a smudge near the “e” (but it was still clear that it was an “e”). I mentioned it to her but she said it would be fine. When she finished and I noticed the mistake, she tried to fix it (second picture) but it looks terrible in my opinion (and I’m planning to get it removed). An hour after getting the tattoo, I went back to Good Mojo, explained to the front desk and the owner, Scott, what happened, and got a full refund. Scott was extremely nice, helpful and apologetic so I’m thankful to him for being so accommodating, professional and understanding. I still recommend Good Mojo but I just wish I had as great of an experience as everyone else seems to have here.

I have been getting tattooed at good mojo since I was 18. Sammi strange gave me my first tattoo and was sooo sweet to me and accommodating to me having a guest. My other tattoos have been by Lisa and she has always made me feel 100% a part of the process. Lisa is very invested in her work and her clients. Good mojo has great energy and positive professional vibes. Highly recommend for all types of tattoos - especially color!

I received the best tattoo ever from Carly this past Sunday! She totally understood the look I was going for. I lucked out because she happened to have a cancellation and she got my entire tatto done in one appointment! I have already received so many compliments on her skill! LOVE good mojo! My artist (Bri) was the nicest artist i’ve ever gone to, super professional and warm-hearted ! The whole atmosphere of this business is really fun, upbeat and welcoming. A lot of tattoo shops can be really intimidating but this one is super chill ! They also have great precautions with covid, which i appreciate. Bri made me feel completely relaxed and comfortable the entire session and I left with a new favorite tattoo! I seriously felt so relaxed I could have fallen asleep. they even gave me a goodie bag with stickers, candy and aftercare instructions. Overall it’s clear that they really care about their clients. I’ll definitely be coming back !

Very inviting and relaxing space, beautiful bay window in waiting room with plenty to look at to keep at ease. Prompt friendly service, no stress or pressure from anyone, professional but laid back and always welcoming.Lisa was incredible, and intensely focused but sociable artist. What a job she did. She respects and cares about her customers and her art equally, and it shows. I got two decent-sized arm pieces in under two hours. I am so glad I chose Good Mojo for this work. Everyone was super nice inside. Met with Jackie at the front desk and she was great and made me feel welcomed. Dave came out and met with me because I was unsure of exactly what I wanted until we spoke. He was very kind and professional and made everything as relaxed as he could. I got a small piece on my arm and was in and out very quickly. Will definitely be back here again.

My only shop now. Its like coming home where youre always welcome after a long journey. Great people, amazing artists and fun atmosphere. Mulysa and Lisa are two of my favorites and fantastic artists that take great pride in their work, and it shows. Its clean and safe and right down town Beverly so you can take a walk to some great restaurants and shops before or after you get work. I love this place!

Had another great experience at Good Mojo Tattoo. Mulysa the owner goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are satisfied in every way. They are taking more COVID-19 precautions than any other business I have visited though this Pandemic. I highly recommend Mulysa and Good Mojo Tattoo.

My sister got a small, easy tattoo here and it had faded in only 2-3 weeks. Not only did we pay $100 for this, but she followed every after care instruction perfectly and she was still left with an unsatisfactory result. I wouldn’t expect this from a professional place and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either. Her tattoo was not worth the money we spent and I’m sure that they’d charge for a touch-up even though it’s unwarranted, so we will not be coming back.

My daughter and I had a vision for matching tattoos and Lisa brought that vision to life! She demonstrated excellent cleanliness and infection prevention practices, made sure we were comfortable at all times and was a lot of fun!

The artists are amazing and varied with their individual styles. The attention paid to the customer and the artwork are one of the many things that make this shop one of the best. Im willing to drive an hour and a half to come to this shop and I know many that travel even farther. Mulysa Mayhem is a tattoo Goddess that drove the vision needed to make this the place that it is. The energy, decor, cleanliness, and individual artist spaces are the things that set this apart from any other. Dont go expecting flash-based tattoos. Go expecting a one of a kind artwork that you get to carry with you for the rest of your life. You will become one of the family that is known as Good Mojo Tattoos.

Got back in the tattoo saddle here after 15 or so years of no new ink. Everyone Ive interacted with here has been nothing but lovely. Its a welcoming, Witchy space and my artist, Lisa, has been amazing. Beautiful art, great people and free lollies! Ive found my new body art home.

Tara Chaplin is an incredible artist who has done beautiful work on both my ankle, and a large piece on my arm. I recommend her to everyone! This is a healing piece, done in three parts, with the most recent work being done the same day this pic was taken.

Highly recommend got two tattoos here so far by Jason, got by last name on my wrist and and eagle on my arm, so far it’s still in the healing process a week later but as i can tell it came out great, very nice environment and very professional, the tattoo is exactly what i wanted,

Tara does my tattoos and she does amazing work! I show everyone I know and they are amazed how well my tattoos come out! Recommend it to everyone serious about a tattoo.

Unfortunately for me, it was not the best. My artist went way too deep and scarred my tattoo (not horribly). The line work was janky which I got touched up by a different artist. All in all, not a terrible place, just got a bad artist I guess.

I highly recommend Good Mojo! Jax has been my tattoo artist on my last 7 tattoos and she always does an amazing job.

Tattoo artist didn’t do what I wannted, and was rough during tattoo. Told me she couldn’t make tattoo any smaller so now I’m left with a huge tatoo that is all shakey. Very unprofessional
