Chris was Amazing and is so personable ! I brought my Teen in for her 1st piercing.. he Explained everything to my daughter in detail … she felt comfortable and is so Happy with her new nose piercing ! I actually will be going back to Chris for my next Piercing as well! Thank you Chris !!

Great spot! Chris is awesome! My daughter wanted to have her nose pierced and I brought her here due to word of mouth and the good reviews. Chris explained everything to us in great detail, so much so, that I even briefly considered getting my nose pierced too! Everything was clean and sterilized and Chris put both of us at ease with his knowledge and skill. Would definitely come back here for another piercing!

Very clean, organized, & Very friendly staff. I have been here twice, my artist was Paula & she is amazing. Not heavy hand, very precise, & hilarious. This is my favorite tattoo place i have been yet.

Professional, unbelievable first tattoo experience!!The owner Chris got my tattoo and vision imprinted onto my arm forever. My two friends got their tattoos done here and I went with tattoo garage based on their recommendations and the trust you are supposed to have with your artist. The process was much more enjoyable than I thought being that Chris talked to me throughout my first 2.5 hour session and was incredibly informative about the dos and donts with first timers. Time flew by having a great conversation with him and I would definitely come back for more! At the end of the day this is an art and it will stick with you for the rest of your life.

Great tattoo spot! I spoke with Chris via phone and came in the same day for a nose piercing for my daughter. The establishment was clean, along with the products used for the piercing. Chris was very informative on how to properly take care of the piercing. He also took time to answer all of our questions, I would definitely come back again.

I went today with my daughter who wanted a belly piercing. Chris was amazing. He was kind and patient. Explained everything to her in a clear way. She had tried to let a friend pierce her before and he warned her about the dangers in that. Overall eased my mind as well. Great experience! Great place!

.....BEWARE...Came for a cover up consultation and turned right around after i seen blood drippings from anothet tatoo artist on the floor. Very unsanitary. Look for another shop!!!

Exactly friendly staff. I took my daughter to get her nose pierced, and they thoroughly explained the whole process prior to the piercing and what to expect after. I love the fact that the person who helped us could not stress enough the importance of the after care.

Terrible experience. Dirty, and very unprofessional. Would highly NOT recommend! Was in the shop last week and owner is very prejudice and was throwing the N word around disgustinly!!

Me, my girlfriend, and her friend all just went to get our first tattoos here, and we all couldnt be happier with the results. It was a really cool experience, the staff was very friendly and the owner, Chris, who did all of our tattoos is such a down to earth, genuine guy man, such a cool dude. We shared some stories, had a couple laughs, it was a great time. I will definitely be returning the next time I want some ink 🤘

I was pierced by Chris and my experience was amazing. He was really funny and was ready to give stories to distract and make you laugh off your nerves. This was the first time I’ve ever gotten a piercing and I got a septum. He was gentle and walked me through the whole thing and was informative about what to do and how to take care of it. Things were also clean! I would completely recommend and I’d be down to come again!

I had gotten my septum done before somewhere else but it was a horrible experience so I took it out. Came to Tattoo Garage and was pierced by Christopher and I was NOT disappointed. He made me feel comfortable, made jokes, and was very understanding. That first time had traumatized me but it did not hurt as much as the first time did and it was quick. I am so in love with my new septum piercing. He took his time and also explained what he was using and what he was going to do. He was extremely patient and I will be back here again. It was done right. GREAT EXPERIENCE ‼️‼️‼️‼️

I got my nose (nostril and septum) pierced by Chris a week ago and I had a great experience. I am a woman in my early 20s and I was a bit nervous going alone because no friends are allowed due to covid restrictions but Chris made me feel comfortable the entire time. He explained everything to me in detail and walked me through the aftercare process. He also explained to me the potential risks of getting two piercings at once in the nose right now because sometimes the masks can irritate a healing piercing.Overall I definitely had a good experience and would recommend for anyone who is looking to get a nose piercing.

Phenomenal tattoo shop. I’ve gone twice with Paula and have a few more sessions scheduled. Yes, she’s booked pretty far in advance - this is a GOOD thing in an artist. A shop that is booked is a shop that is in demand and has repeat customers. It is extremely clean, the staff very friendly and easy to spend time around. I very much enjoyed spending a few hours there getting tattooed, and look forward to my next appointment. Paula herself is an extremely talented artist and someone I am happy putting my full faith in for beautiful work.

Im a girl thats afraid of needles and let me tell you Chris made me feel so comfortable and the 5 piercings were quick, easy and PAINLESS. Im going back for 2 more and possibly tats. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Just got my second hole pierced in my ear. It might sound silly to say I had a great experience for something so small, but I did. From the second we walked in to when we left, Chris was making my friend and I laugh and feel like old friends of his. Not only was he fun, but he was also extremely professional, answering all of my questions and giving extra info as far as care, etc. He was fast, efficient, inexpensive (most places in the area are double the price), the quality of the earring is high, and the piercing looks great. Thanks Chris, I’ll be coming back if I decide to get another!

I’ve been tattooed here twice, and honestly wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. The staff is not only incredibly kind, but extremely accommodating to those with disabilities.Paula is such a gifted tattoer. If I could give 15/5 stars I would.I can’t speak about piercing experiences (yet) but I’m sure I’ll be getting one in the future!excellent place. Incredibly clean. They have an excellent sense of humor and are some of the most professional people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I can’t recommend Tattoo Garage enough. The experience was so lovely! The piercer was so friendly, and hilarious, I was super comfortable even when he had stuck a needle through my nose (I got a septum). He was extremely informative, walked me through the ENTIRE process, and gave me all of the information that I needed to know while caretaking for my septum. I will definitely be returning for other piercings, as I felt so welcomed. I felt the experience in his words, and actions.

I came here to get a nose piercing and i absolutely loved the service. I did not have to wait long at all very friendly staff and Chris is by far the most funniest and caring professional I have ever met. He wiped my tear away after I got my piercing. I will be going back for my tattoos as well as future piercings.

I got two piercings done at Tattoo Garage. My septum and my belly button piercing which was the worst piercing experience thus far. My septum was done great and I am very thankful for how sanitary and nice the man who did my piercing was. However, when it came to my belly button piercing I was given poor after-care instructions. It led to my piercing becoming infected multiple times while it healed & a scar that eventually came after realizing my piercing was rejecting due to the metal that was put in. After further information, I was informed by another piercer that the CBR (captive bead ring) that was put in as my piercing was the cause of rejection. The metal is not real (like I was told) and taking it out was more painful than having it pierced to begin with. Very disappointed and will never be coming back.

Just got my septum piercing yesterday and Im really happy about it. He took his time and made u feel comfortable. I will highly recommend going here. Thinking about going back to get my tattoo fixed 🤔 Thanks 😊 🙏

I came here to re- pierce my nose and brought my neices along who wanted piercings that Chris thoroughly explained why he didnt do certain ones and the ones that he does he gives you the truth and risks. I must say that this man couldve easily taken the money and not care but he did not. I appreciated his wisdom and not chasing dollars.He did a great job on my nose piercing and I plan to go back soon. Thanks Chris!!!

Got my first (and second) tattoo here at once and Chris was SO helpful in getting me through the process and aftercare. Clean, responsible, and wonderful service. Had a lovely conversation with m throughout the whole thing. I absolutely recommend.

I found this place on Google Maps and I’m glad I did!!! I called in advance to verify if an appointment was needed, explained what I wanted done (the upper top of my ear aka Helix or as I called it cartilage lol), and payment method. Christopher informed me no appointment was needed and I can come in with no problem and payment was cash only in which he repeated a few times because not everyone carries cash (if you’re like me you’re constantly swiping your card lol). Christopher explained throughly the cleaning and healing process, as well as answered any questions I had. Christopher was super funny and positive energy! Definitely the best experience I’ve had and will be going back again!

I had what I thought was a a pleasant first experience going in to get a piercing.. I attempted to reconnect after two weeks to switch out my earrings. I spent the better part of four days receiving inconsistent and incoherent communication as to why I wasn’t gaining clarity or appointment to come back in. I ultimately went to another shop where I learned my piercings had been infected due to information I hadn’t been giving previously by this establishment.. I have also been back To the other shop and have gotten many more since. I was confused by the delay in service, and blatant disrespect for my time I received here, because I had been before with little issue. I trust/hope my racialOrientation was not a motivating factor. While I won’t ever return, I do hope they resolve their issues with customer interaction.

Went for a second piercing in my earlobes. Great place (theyre upstairs, the door is clearly marked)! Sterile piercing, great aftercare instructions and great conversation... will definitely be back for my first tattoo when the time is right

I got a tattoo here from Gustavo Duarte and I have to say, he is awesome! The shop itself is super cool, the decor is awesome and the place is clean. Gus was very easy to work with, very accommodating, honest, and was fun all around. I used to live in Pittsburgh and was looking for artists in New Jersey that I can come to more than once if I want, and I think I might have found the artist here! I’ve honestly never had more fun getting inked than I did at Tattoo Garage. Highly recommend!

Came here to get a simple nose piercing a stud in the nose. The place is very clean and the guy Chris that pierced my nose is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely come back !
