Dan is one of the best artist in the Tampa Bay area, if not the best. He does amazing work. I have most of a full sleeve completed all by Dan and I constantly get compliments and people asking who my artist is. His shop isnt the one you walk in to on a whim and pick something off the wall, these are professional artists who are booked most of the time. Call and make an appointment, you wont be disappointed.

Dan is the best Japanese tattoo artist in the Tampa Bay Area. I did my homework before deciding on who would do my sleeve. He has a huge portfolio of work online and great reviews. He listens to his clients and doesn’t talk you into his ideas or talk you out of yours. I wanted a black kol, lotus flower and cherry blossoms and only wanted red, green and yellow accents. This is a massive, 10 session piece, so it was spaced out over months. He was always on time and made it fun. If you like traditional Japanese, Dan is the man.

You owe it to yourself to get the BEST you can when it comes to tattoo work and design. Second to none in my opinion is Black Label Tattoo shop and Dan in particular as an artist. I highly recommend and use these guys and Dan for all my tattoo work and always will. They can do absolutely anything but specialize in traditional Japanese which is my love. Dan is awesome, Im on a very tight work schedule so when I called him and told him my slot he took me right in. He tweaked my photo idea of my tatoo until he got it perfect and the rest is history. Dan was able to schedule me and my friend for a same day appointment. When he felt he wasn’t going to make it on time he called and gave me a heads up way before my appointment and asked was another time okay!!! Dan does amazing work!!! Black Label is the place to go for one of a kind custom tattoos. Dan Fagan is Tampas best for traditional Japanese style tattoos. He draws them right on with sharpie marker and tattoos it in. Every piece is unique and flows with your bodys form.Dan has been tattooing me for the last 7 years. He has done at least 100 hours of custom tattoos on me including both leg sleeves and a full back piece. Mostly all Japanese and a few traditional American pieces.The shop is a great place to chill and get tattooed in. We usually start with some lunch and a good bad movie then get to tattooing. Its nice to find a shop with no tattoo attitude where I feel comfortable and relaxed from start to finish. Five star tattoo experience!!

I’ve been going to Tim at Black label for a few years now.. honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. I can go in there with an idea and he captures it perfect on paper. I haven’t been tattooed by Dan yet but have been in there and seen his work also very badass .Thinking about going to him for a sailor jerry piece .. the atmosphere in there is so comfortable they joke and have fun and also very very clean!! Going back at the end of July for another piece!!!

Not only have I known the owner of Black Label Tattoos, Dan Fagan, for 20+ years; I’ve been getting tattooed by him for 20+ years. We are lucky to have an uber professional and clean appointment only custom tattoo shop here in Brandon of this caliber. Anyone can go to a hot topic type tattoo shop at a mall and get a mediocre tattoo, but why when you have a shop like this in your area. Give Black Label a try and if you are serious about getting a quality tattoo then you will not be disappointed.

Today I just got a Koi-Dragon tattoo from Dan Fagan at Black Label Tattoo. I must say he is not only great with the tattoo needle, but he is also an exceptional artist. He literally hand stenciled the Koi-Dragon into a custom sized area on my leg, blended it with another tattoo and when it was done it exceeded my exceptions. Dan has made me a loyal customer and will be going back to Black Label Tattoo for more work in the future.

Unsanitary. Watched as Dan dug through his tool box with his gloves still on from my tattoo. Have to question how many clients he does the same thing with.Ask Dan to explain the “clean” glove method of tattooing.So now he’s going use a clean glove to mess about in his drawer, then use that glove while he works on you...much better Dan.
