Riggs Monster Tattoo

I went into the shop two days ago just shopping for quotes. They gave me a great price and were able to fit me in the very next day! I am so happy with how kind, welcoming, and professional this company is. They stayed open extremely late to prefect my back piece and gave me confidence. I have never felt so comfortable in a tattoo shop before. Thank you guys so much!! I will post an updated photo once it heals!

VERY happy with my experience at this studio! A few of the ladies in my family decided to bond over tattoos during our trip to Branson and the experience was wonderful. Between us 5, Brandon and Chuck were extremely accommodating and did an amazing job on our pieces!I also braved one of my fears and got my upper ear pierced thanks to the amazing lady there (cannot remember her name) talking me through it and being so soothing throughout the process! I have always wanted it done but was too afraid until meeting her! :)Overall, extremely happy with our time at Riggs Monster Tattoo!

Brandy was AH-MAZING! My two teenage daughters and I went in for some ear piercings (daith, conch, and 2 upper lobs). She did a fantastic job, was professional, informative about the entire process and aftercare, and made us feel super comfortable.

My friend and I came in on Tuesday afternoon. The gentleman who was there got us in immediately. He was polite, reasonable, and (most importantly) did great work! We just wanted a simple small mushroom guy on our ankle and he did not disappoint! We got exactly what we wanted, placement is perfect. Best of all, it’s an extremely clean environment. Tools were clearly sterile and maintained. Highly recommend!

The best place to get a piercing!!! I took my daughter to get her ear pierced and I was so impressed with the whole process. The amazing piercer walked my daughter through step by step what she was going to do and when. She also covered aftercare in really great detail. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean and friendly place to get a child’s ear pierced.

I walked in one day wanting a certain tattoo. But, I was told that what I wanted was too small and would look awful in a few years. Scott was very helpful in steering me towards something that I absolutely loved and drawing it up himself. He did an amazing job with the design which turned into something I love even more than my original idea. Afterwards, he made sure I knew how to take care of it, gave me some pointers, and I think its healing very nicely :)

Brandy is amazing! The first time I went in, I was unsure what to expect. She talked me through the process and made me feel better when I was scared about the pain level. She did it quickly and it was great! I’ve gone back to her multiple times now and she is the only one allowed to pierce me. None of my piercings have ever gotten infected, she provides a lot of information about your piercing and how to keep it clean. She is very professional and I’d recommend every single person to go to her for all your piercing needs!

I couldnt be happier with my experience. I am not easy to work on due to medical issues. Brandy didnt just work on me, but worked with me. In every way possible. This wasnt my first experience. It was however my best experience, and I already have another appointment on her book. Locals and tourists a like will really enjoy the vibe here. Especially horror enthusiasts 😉

My son got his ears pierced here and it was a great experience. He was made to feel safe and comfortable when he was excited but scared. She even let him hold her shark and made him laugh. I highly recommend them. They are clean and professional and the piercing went well and looks perfect.

I went in to get my ears re-pierced (after a Claire’s horror story) and as someone who has needle anxiety (and tends to pass out easily), I found it hard to walk through the door. Brandy was sitting outside and reassured me I’d have a better experience there. She walked me through the process in a clear way so I wasn’t as anxious. She was amazing when I inevitably blacked out and was ready with water, a fan, the whole nine yards. She gave me awesome aftercare advice to take care of my piercing and to help me avoid the issues I had with my past piercing. If you’re like me and have nerves about piercings, I highly recommend Brandy. She is absolutely amazing!

A customer threatened to hit a young woman who was canvassing in the area over what he perceived to be ‘liberal nonsense’ was actually just a petition for funding for child literacy programs.Customer also decided to curse and berate this girl instead of just asking her to leave with some common decency, owner did nothing.You should be ashamed of yourselves, this sort of behavior is embarrassing. People like this are the reason why Missouri is 49th in education.

Just had a piece done a week ago. Awesome job. Also had him touch up another tattoo a while back. Definitely would recommend Rigs Monster Tattoo and Scott any day. Vibe here is awesome.

Not sure why Im just now being asked to review, since my tattoo was in 2009, but ok. Lol. We took a vacation to Branson for my 40th. I decided I wanted my first (and still only) tattoo. We knew nothing about any of the shops, tattoos, what to look for or anything else - and there were a million shops. My sole reason for choosing Riggs was because they were the only shop that had a sign plastered on the door that said No food or drink beyond this point. To me, that said clean. Went back qhen they opened, asked if I could get one or if I had to nake an appointment. They said Tim had openings.. so I picked my tattoo, got settled, and when the needle hit my leg, thought I was going to die. I made it thru all 3 hours, tho. When asked if I was still alive, I said yes and was promptly told If you didnt want it to hurt, you should have picked one from the $80 book. LMAO. Wise words, indeed. Almost 15 yr later, it still looks pretty amazing. Go get you a tattoo here. Amazing work, clean, awesome vibe. All in all, a very memorable experience. Looking at returning for a color refresh.

Busy & we had to wait but thats expected in a walk in shop. Drove 2.5 hrs for Scott because I liked his work online. Very basic but just what I wanted. We will be back.

We just walked in. They were SO friendly and SO welcoming! Brandy was the sweetest. 5 of us got small matching tattoos. They were so quick, sanitary and reassured the tattoo virgin that were with us. It was a great experience all together and we cant WAIT to come back!

I got a tongue piercing from brandy and she was amazing! I didn’t even feel it. This is my third one, first with her, best one ever. She also has amazing customer service. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a very good experience. I went in extremely nervous I could barely talk, my mom who was with me basically did all the talking. I was getting an industrial piercing and had brandy do it. Brandy definitely helped calm my nerves with her funny comments and understanding personality. She basically got me in and out witch I really appreciated. All over I had a pleasant experience and when and if I get another pricing I would for sure go back.

My fiancée and I have been looking for a new tattoo shop, Riggs is amazing!! We did 3 tattoos, and the detail was beautifully done, the staff is friendly, and have a sense of humor, which is refreshing. Chuck did our tattoos, and we couldn’t be happier! I got my ears repierced today after several years. Brandy is phenomenal! VERY professional, will explain to you what she is going to do with calm demeanor. Great to chat with, very knowledgeable! I will definitely go back to her for more!! I have also gotten quite a few tattoos by Scott. And they are great pieces.

We are both very excited!! See you Friday….. oh and by the way… phone communication, when asking questions and making arrangements for piercing, was extremely friendly and helpful!

I set up an appointment for the following day with Scott, for both myself and my daughter. He was ready and waiting at our designated time. Since we are just moving to the area I needed to find a new artist to fix some things for me and for my future pieces... and I definitely found the best with Scott!!It was my daughters first tattoo. She did just fine, but he was so good with her too. He explained things to her which was nice. Even though I already had, so shed know what to expect, but its always better coming from someone else :) We just got our pieces started with the outline. We have to go back for the shading/detail soon... When theyre finished, I will update this with another picture of his finished work!Id definitely recommend any of these guys! We got our noses pierced here a couple of years ago and that guy was just as great!!

Brandy did fantastic on my double helix piercing, walks you through every step. Very professional. Easy to work with for what you want. Tattoo artist that did my arm did fantastic and was enjoyable to speak too. Great atmosphere. Easy to work with. Would go back too when down here.

We LOVE BRANDY. Do not go to claires for ear art. They will leave your ears full of scar tissue. Brandy if you see this I will be back soon for more fun. No pain on day 2, & I got 5 piercings.

We went to a different tattoo shop last night and I got 2nd and 3rd ear piercings. My friend got 2nds and decided today that she also wanted thirds. We were very impressed with Riggs over the other place! They use titanium instead of stainless steel. My friend has a nickel allergy and titanium contains zero nickel. Nathan was professional and extremely knowledgeable. He took great pride in his work. He did an excellent job! We now know where to go and refer our friends!!!

I had a nose piercing done by Nathan and it was the best experience! He told me exactly what he was going to do before he did it and made sure that I felt safe. He was very kind and professional. Brandy recently started at this shop, is currently only doing body piercings. However, will be starting to tattoo very soon! I have come to her 3 times now for 4 piercings total and to put some new jewelry in old ear piercings. When I tell you this woman is the best... I have had several piercings done prior to coming to her, and Brandy is the most gentle, patient and caring artist I have ever encountered. She explains the process thoroughly, talks you through any anxiety, and genuinely shows care through the entire visit.

Yes, the place is cool, BUT if you would pay attention to facebook post, I see alot done by nick, im sorry nick you may be cool too, but you can not tattoo ANYTHING, everything I see is blown out, lines make no sense, even the whole finished product most the time just looks very bad. Either someone teach him, or get a new artist, ill keep calling out all the bad tats when I see them on facebook.

Brandy is the gal to go to if you want a piercing! I walked in and she took care of me and made sure I was comfortable the whole time and calm. She has a great personality and the piercings were great! She’ll make sure she has them done right!!

We brought our 2 year old in to get her ears pierced (shed been begging for days)iForgot to get her name but their peircer was amazing! There was only 1 piercer so i was a little worried she wouldnt let us do the second piercing but she did a great job of making our daughter feel comfortable and at ease. Im so glad we found a piercer willing to do a child ears. Would absolutely recommend!!

I would not suggest going to Nick, went there to get a tattoo on my birthday with one of my friends. The whole time he was talking about how it was his last tattoo before his 10 day vacation and just going on and on about that, he even refused to even talk to a woman, over an hour before the shop closed . He rushed through my entire tattoo didn’t even fill it all the way in, not to mention it’s on one of the most visible parts of my body . Every time I look at it I regret it a lot ,and I am going to be getting it fixed as soon as it completely heals.Tattoos are not some thing that should be rushed especially anything that has some thing symmetrical. Will not ever return . And a side note if you’re working in close Proximity to people I suggest brushing your teeth .

Me and my mother got matching tattoos there. People were kind in the atmosphere was good. The tattoos them selves turn great. Would highly recommend.

Brandy is my new favorite piercer!! I got my dimples pierced and she did a great job explaining the process to me before hand ( which calmed me down a lot ) ,she’s extremely sanitary and has a great uplifting attitude . My boyfriend got a flower on his wrist and I got a small spider on my ankle. The man who did our tattoos was so kind. I was literally twitching so bad from the pain of a foot tat and he didn’t make me feel bad about it at all. Also the women who answered the phone both times sounded so welcoming and answered all of my questions with ease. Definitely recommend coming here!! And forgot to mention how good the line work is‼️

Tim did a great job in short time. My wife and I got matching four leaf clover tats in under an hour. The shop is very clean and straight forward. We went on a Thursday afternoon and didnt have to wait at all. Good work, good artists, clean shop. I really dont know how it couldve been better. Thanks, Tim!

Piercer lady doesn’t know what the hell she’s talking about. She pierced my septum wrong and i had to get it removed by a shop who knew what the hell they were doing. 4 different piercers told me she pierced through my cartilage and when i called to ask her about it, she yelled at me over the phone and was very rude about it and basically called me stupid. will never go back, they also over price all of their services. not worth it

My family and I go to Branson every year as a vacation, this year we wanted to venture out and get tattoos. We stumbled on Riggs Monster Tattoo shop, they were friendly, nice, very professional and they did an AMAZING job! There were seven of us total, they got us in on a timely manner and every tattoo was done precisely! This was a great experience! I recommend going to the shop as soon as you get into town to make an appointment.

I got a nose piercing and this was my first time ever in a tattoo shop getting a piercing. Nathan did the piercing and it was amazing! The whole experience was great from beginning to end. He walked me through everything he was doing and made me feel comfortable. Afterwards he was very nice and patient to explain everything for taking care of the piercing. Would really recommend to anyone!!

Danielle was super friendly. We didnt get inked here only because the price was higher than we wanted, but honestly it was not unreasonable. She was willing to fit us in next day. The tat she had just finished on another client looked great. Well lit. I liked that they were working out in the front. Shows me they are clean & professional with nothing to conceal. I got my Medusa done by Nathan and my friend got her noise pierced. He was super nice. Made me and my friend feel very comfortable. He did a fantastic job on both piercings. Would definitely recommend and return.

Artist was CHUCK.. the best ever!Me and my daughter went in on April 3 to get matching tattoos. We showed Chuck what we wanted and he did an awesome job getting it exactly the way we showed him on paper. Later that night we realized that we had misspelled a word.. 😩 We went back to Chuck the next morning (today, April 4th) and he patiently spent hours doing a cover up on both of us and it turned out very nice! He didnt charge us extra but we gladly paid for the fix even though he deserved much more than we could afford to pay.. I recommend Chuck to anyone! I will be using him again in the future!

Walked in to get a piercing, we had already called 2 times before this, and the piercer was sick. Which was okay, but when we walked in the guys were very not welcoming and not nice. They just kind of shrugged their shoulders and after saying we drove 2 hrs they said nothing. Wouldn’t recommend if you want to feel welcomed, especially if you’re nervous for your first tattoo.

Four of us walked in to get matching little tattoos, it was 3/4 of our first tattoos and the people were super welcoming and reassuring and made the experience a lot less scary! Plus they turned out great!

Brandy was amazing. She has the patience of a saint. 10/10 would recommend getting her to pierce you! Everyone else in the shop was friendly too. All around great experience.

Going in to this place I was a little nervous at first...... Okay beyond nervous to be truthful. But I had the opportunity to meet Scott and sit down and talk with him about what I wanted to get done. He helped me pick out the font to better suit everything that I wanted, and what he helped me pick out was just perfect!! He designed everything perfectly and amazingly to what I was wanting. He took his time geting everything cleaned and set up for me. He did an amazing job getting the tattoo played out, and let me stop and see how it looked before he even started. He helped calm me down and talk me through what was going to happen and just helped calm me down. He told me when he was going to start it so that I wouldnt jump or anything and mess it up..... He did an amazing job and did it in a very timely manner like he said he would. My tattoo that I got from this place was even more incredibly amazing than I ever thought it would turn out like!! Scott explained to me on how to take care of my tattoo and what I need to do and what I need to avoid doing. Over all my experience at this tattoo show was nothing short of just fantastic!! An interesting but cool environment very clean and very well maintained and very well managed!! Very friendly atmosphere and very friendly and down to earth employees!! Scott you did a fantastic job and I will highly recommend you to anyone and everyone I come across thats looking for new ink!! Thanks again for helping making my first tattoo one that Ill love forever and Ill never forget!! Ill definitely be back for when I want more ink!!

It had been about 5 years since my last piece. I went down to the shop and Scott was great. Set up an appointment for the next day and when I got there he was just about done drawing it up.The quality of his work is impeccable. I deffinatly recommend this shop and Scott!!Plus meeting Riggs was a great perk !!

My boyfriend and I came here today for my boyfriends cover up. The guy who did his tattoo was great. The work was great! The whole staff was friendly and they gave their honest, professional opinions. I am a question asker and they were great question answerers.Highly recommended!

Most unprofessional shop, blames the customer. All you’re paying for is the name cause the work ain’t it. Line work started fading within two hours. When I sent a photo from two hours afterwards they just couldn’t understand besides blaming me(after care not done properly) as to why the tattoo was coming off already. As if I didn’t have multiple tattoos….. and set up appointments with my simple outline tattoo design 4 hours in advance for this. Just don’t do it! Save your money cause you’ll have to get it fixed later. 3 tattoos were done, all the same. None came out the same and all had horrible errors like double line work.

The shop is awesome. Its filled with monster memorabilia and stuff from some of my favorite music.The artists are all high quality. Scott himself is phenomenal. Been doing my work for years, and will continue. If you havent been, you should. If you have, you should go more!!

My husband and I decided last minute to get a tattoo while on vacation. After reading several reviews we picked Monster tattoo. We both got our tattoos done by Seneca. He did an amazing job on Grants American Horror story clown and my simple lettering. Both tattoos are expertly executed, the line work is flawless and his application of color is on point. We will definitely be repeat customers! Our overall experience was great!

In reply to the bottom two reviews. I’m the 21 year old girl that walked out and refused to get tattooed by two mean and completely unprofessional “tattoo artists”. I’m not really sure what you mean by the two stories contradict themselves...? I was SO excited to go get my very first tattoo and you guys made my experience absolutely awful right from the start. We had a spontaneous “let’s go get a tattoo” moment, something I’m sure a lot of people that come through your shop do. We called your shop WHILE we were still in Springfield after calling EVERY walk in tattoo place in Springfield. You guys were the ones who told us on the phone it would be no problem and that you weren’t busy. And calling us crackheads or drunks really??? We had two 12 year old girls with us and since when can you tattoo someone under the influence? Try again. I’ve read through most of your reviews and it’s not the first bad review that you’ve called someone a “druggy” or “drunk” so maybe get a new excuse for your piss poor attitude and absolutely awful tattoos. Also if you click on our names and view our reviews you’ll see we never leave bad reviews or anything at all and this is our only one. And for anyone who reads this review do not stop here! Go just down the road to House of Ink! They are AMAZING, A LOT cheaper, and have AWESOME attitudes! 😊

Giving the one star is only because that was the only way I could post my review! Had a day planned that was supposed to be exiting and memorable. My friend taking her daughter for her first tatoo. Last minute no appointment and after contacting many shops in Springfield drove all the way to Branson. The two employees Scott and Tim smoking outside we walk in and request there portfolios to see there work all impressed I started to talk to Scott explained to him what I was wanting. I was under the impression Tim was going to help my friends daughter because the shop was empty, but he completely ignored her so we explained to Scott what she was wanting he was cold rude so hateful. Spoke to her daughter as if she was a complete idiot. Also spoke to her mother as if she was ignorant. You would think that when three people come into a empty shop and willing to spend 3 to 4 hundred dollars they would be more willing to assist their customers and providing them with the information needed to get the tattoo they re wanting. It took the 21 year old daughter to realize very quickly she did not want anything to do with this man or his work, walked out and her mother and I followed. Could not believe the way they treated us it was absolutely in sane we then took our business to HOUSE OF INK just down the road!I highly recommend that you not even waste your time or efforts on this establishment.It was horrible!

The guys in the shop are personable and super nice! I cant say that about a lot of other shops, but that is what really mad me stay. I went in on Saturday August 10th and talked to Jay. He was able to get me in the same day! He drew up a huge, very detailed traditional owl/sugar skull. I love the tattoo! The lines are clean, great color and shading. I will definitely be taking a trip back to Branson just to get another tattoo from Jay!

Tim worked us in on our day after wedding for a small arm piece. Price was very reasonable and work was excellent for no more than we wanted. Professional and answered all my questions. 25 years of tattoos in this industry are hard to find! You will not find some Kidd trying to earn his way here!! Thank you Tim! Place was super clean and you can tell that the guy takes pride in his work. Super patient while we narrowed down what we wanted and gave us honest advice regarding designs and what would last the best. Very fairly priced in my opinion. Scott was my artist.

Got my first hand tattoo on Mother’s Day, I’ve been talked out of hand tattoos so many times, and they warned me as well, but what mommy wants mommy does, never been so happy except my tattoo for my grandma!! They did great and made me laugh even though I wanted to cry due to a good loss of a friend!! So gentle!! I’m super happy with the out come and the language made my day!! I needed that!! I have came in twice and been discouraged by the gentleman that was there both times. It wasn’t Scott whom someone had recommended to me. I was trying to book with Scott. I understand some tattoo artist don’t like doing certain things. I have 5 already. But this gentleman has acted like he didn’t even want to work with us at all then spoke for Scott like he probably wouldn’t want to do it either. He also went on to mock other people’s ideas for tattoos that had booked him. Super unprofessional. Maybe Monsters Tattoo just isn’t for me. Or maybe just ask for Scott. IDK

My husband and I get tattoos by Scott every year we come down to Missouri. Its been 3 years in a row now!Scott is an amazing artist who has always treated us with respect and given us amazing tattoos. He gives us exactly what we want and lets us know what will and will not work to make sure we get the best work we can get. He listens to what we are asking for and puts in all together to create exactly what we are invisioning. I get more compliments on the tattoo I have gotten from Scott then any others I have! My husband, Austin, got his very first tattoo by Scott and it got him hooked! This is the only shop we will come to when we are in town!

Brandy is my favorite person she does such an amazing job and does very detailed work. If you want a piercings I suggest you go to her because she know her stuff; plus the jewelry is amazing quality

I got my dimples pierced 2 months ago. I clean my piercing constantly but for some odd reason I keep getting abxesses and infections. I had to go back in and get the bars switched out due to the bar on my right side got impeded inside my cheek. And instead of putting longer bars in they put lip piercing jewelry inside my cheeks. Would not recommend due to finding out a month Katerina they dont clean their piercing needles.

Brandy was very understanding and very through in answer all of our questions. As soon as we got there we were given service. She figured out what was best for us and checked twice before doing anything. She was also very funny and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

They did an awesome job on the tattoos and worked with my budget but the guy that did them had no personality at all and acted like he didnt really want to do them. I wasnt sure what to use to take care of them since it had been a while since I got one so I was asking questions, which I assume was irritating to him, because as I left he told other customers how dumb I sounded. I was in town looking for a new tattoo and got great ones but dont expect the customer service to be that greatReplying to your reply: what I received was a good deal and they look great but I know I was not paranoid about anything. There were other customers standing there and as I was walking out the door and other customers standing there I heard what I heard as the other customers laughed at him.

Im a local here in branson, and have been to multiple shops here in town.. after horrible experiences at all previous shops, I was hesitant to go here.I went in on a Sunday evening and was behind a lady paying to get one ahead of me.. after being told I could put a deposit down and come back in 2 hours, I again was hesitant bc Im a very impatient person.. but I couldnt be HAPPIER than I put the deposit down and came back!!Scott helped me pick out the perfect font and placement, and it was literally the best tattoo experience Ive ever had ! It didnt hurt at all.. Scott is a very talented artist, and definitely knows what he is doing!!I will definitely be going back, will prob have him fix my old tattoos as well!

Sign clearly says piercings, walked in told the guy what we needed which was two piercings, he told us well youre not going to find it here we asked him if he knew where we could go ( since we are just visiting) he told us you can do your research and find out . Very rude. I would not spend a dime here! A simple web dont have someone here to do that right now would have been great! And yes I do know how to use google since it sending us to your place worked so great.

Pulled into town on vacation with my family & decided I wanted another tattoo, one that represented a trauma situation I went through physically & I wanted something representing my accomplishment. I visited monster tattoo & the guy working was extremely rude & disrespectful to me & my family. Wouldn’t even give me the time of day literally, I’m self employed myself & I know how to handle & earn business & this was not appropriate in any way. I did manage to choose his competitor in town & they we’re willing to help!

I would recommend this place to anyone. The artists and piercer were so nice and welcoming. You couldn’t ask for better service. They are all very talented, cool people. It’s more expensive than other places I have been, but they did a better job. Definitely recommend to be tattooed or pierced here!

When you want a sailor tattoo you go to the saltiest freaks in town. No, they wont hold your hand during. And they used rubbing alcohol after finishing; but I wouldnt go anywhere else. Good job Scott as always.

My experience at Monster was not good at all. I felt rushed. They did not even seem like they wanted to do my tattoo. The other places Ive gone to, I felt passion from the artist and it was always chill. The gentlemen who also did my tattoo didnt shave me before, therefor leading me to believe he was lazy. He said he had been doing it for 14 years, that could mean he was really good. Or getting lazy when it came to my small tattoo. I would suggest not going there.

Took my daughter here in hopes we could get her first tattoo. A small tattoo on her ankle of a moose in honor of her grandfather was all she wanted. When we pulled up there were 2 men standing outside smoking. We went in and they followed us in. Now..Im not sure if they were mad because they had to put out there cigarettes and come in to assist us or if they are actually this rude to all potential customers that come in but I cannot stress enough how hateful and condescending these men were. I would NOT recommend anyone going into this establishment and being treated the way my daughter and myself were treated yesterday. My daughter was in tears when we left. What was suppose to be a fun, and memorable time for my daughter turned into a nightmare due to two men that obviously either hate there job, hate women, or cared more for that cigarette than they cared about making a girls wish come true.

Got a very beautiful tattoo. Artist tried his hardest to not inflict a lit of pain towards me. My piece was big. Took 2 sessions and a total of 16.5 hours. Its outstanding work. And the shop is actually owned by Rob Zombie.

First of all they were rude af to me when I walked in I wanted a piercing and a tattoo they said they wouldn’t do both so I decided to just get a piercing. I got my Tragus pierced and the piercer didn’t put a long enough bar in and left no room for swelling, so it ended up swelling over the earring and I had to go to the ER and have it ripped out of my ear literally. They’re unprofessional and any licensed piercer would know to put a long bar to leave room for swelling. Now I have a huge scar on my ear. I absolutely would not waste time or my money here if I were anyone else.

This one is hard! The shop was amazing lots of cool things to see...so for the shop...5 stars....quaility of work...excellent! 5 STARS...Same for price... The gentleman that did the tatt however must of had a hard week... seemed like he was irritated with the fact I was there... no small talk..(thats okay) not a single smile... nothing... after mine was done I got zero after care instructions...i have several so I did not need instructions but my friend who got her first tattoo for her 18th birthday did need to hear them...but got nothing but a paper towel and some scotch tape..I even apologized to her after because its its first time I have been in a shop where the environment was so great but the experience was zero fun...like I said quality of work was excellent and same for shop...but the mood was down right off...Again...Maybe he had a bad week...

When it comes to this culture there are just some ways they skip on knowing how to welcome you..I thought it was a mutual blessing... My money for your ink work... But as Branson is... They all make you feel as if your lucky to be there.. And I own a home here and I dont like to explore the strip because they cater to a crowd that doesnt know any better (out of town tourists from everywhere) even though thats our money I just think that they should all try a little harder for quality as apposed to just running cattle in and out.

My fiancé and I have our birthdays around the same time so we came in to get a couple tattoo from starwars. WE LOVED IT! Even though my fiancé was screaming in pain😂. They helped us with knowing what to do with our first tattoos. Ive read the bad reviews but they did an amazing job! Super happy!

Ive only visited their web site and have not went to this facility yet. We plan to visit this place next time we are in Branson hopefully. I have a family member that knows Riggs and talks about his tat work being amazing! When we go we hope to see Riggs and maybe get a tat done! Lots of good pics on their website(Facebook page). Tim did my first tattoo over 4 years ago, and still to this day he is my most trusted (now working full time at Riggs, so ONLY) artist i go to !! Scott also did a beautiful job on my elbow tattoo !! i have tried 3 other shops in the springfield area before, but still drive over an hour (ive never had an issue with getting in. i call and let them know im on my way and ive never waited over 15-20 minutes for my turn. which if youve ever been to a tattoo shop, you know that it could be a 2 hour or longer wait on certain days...) to go to Monster. 5 of my friends and even my mother still see either Tim or Scott as well, we all LOVE their work for the simple fact that the guys are professionals and do above and beyond expectations. Give Riggs Monster Tattoo youre business if you like honest, personable, and experienced tattoo artists, with a clean, unique, and beautiful tattoo shop.

The service was fabulous. We had a party of 10 and our server was the best. Got our drinks and chips and salsa out in record time and EVERYONES order was right. Need a place for a larger party??? This is the place to go! Id give them 10 stars if I could.

My husband and I just got married Saturday and we made a stop in Branson for the day while we were traveling and we walked into the “business” wouldn’t even consider it that, but Ive been tattooed in a lot of different places and so has my husband and we have never been treated so badly at a tattoo parlor EVER. When we walked in the gentleman (if that’s what you want to call him) Was in no way respectful or running a good professional business, which I know tattoo parlors are a different business than the rest but still now need to be a jerk. We came in to get two tattoos one for my husband and one for me and they were small tattoos nothing big or extravagant and he was going to charge us over $300 for two small wrist tattoos..... the guy looked us like we were children which we aren’t we are 22 & 25 he thought he could over charge us for two small wrist tattoos and treated us like we wasn’t serious about what we wanted and acted like it was a joke. We both were so disappointed and upset that someone would treat any customer that way. We walked in and was very nice and in return we got shot some high prices and treated like absolute scum. I wouldn’t even give this place a star if it wasn’t required ao I could post my review.

I have been to different tattoo shops in different states. I have to say that the guys that work here are some of the coolest I have come across! My tattoo looks amazing and was reasonably priced! When I come back to Branson I will be getting another tattoo here!

I love the Riggs shop and the atmosphere! The artists are great depending on the one you pick to do your work. I am a repeat customer and reccomend everyone I know to this shop. ......HOWEVER....... I DO NOT reccomend anyone to be tattoed by Seneca . I went into the shop February 24, 2017 and he took an hour to set up his station and an hour to do my tattoo that is 2in tall and 1 1/2in wide.He had nothing but bad things to say about the shop and the other artists in it. All because he was corrected by the other artist with the beard, when he made a sexual innuendo. He was so involved with trash talking the shop that my tattoo is half scarred from the depth he went. Not to mention the color is all wrong, and then proceeded to give me his e-mail address dickscum... @........ So I could send him a picture of the next tattoo I am getting so he could sketch it up and do it. I will not be tattooed by this artist even if I have to sit on a waitlist to recieve a different artist.

I tried to call 3 different times to set up an appointment and they just kept saying they’re talking walks ins and to come in anytime so I went in and the guy said “oh you’ll have to schedule an appointment for that” and it would be about a week or longer. Even though when I called earlier today he said “he didn’t have anything after 4” so that’s when I went in but he still couldn’t do it and there was no other customers in there at the time. And I’m seeing all these other reviews on how people just walked in and they drew up their tattoo instantly and did it.

I’m sorry that they deserve a 1 star walked in there talking about a tattoo that was on my arm 3 artist looked at it laughing! Telling me there was nothing they would do to fix it they acted very unprofessional, Talked about being a tattoo artist for over 20 years but couldn’t fix something that another shop blew out of the water and fixed! Place is a joke wish I could upload photos on a review!

I walked in and no one was around, I realize it was close to closing but I wanted to talk to someone about some work. When I finally talked to someone I asked if everyone in town closes early, I was told I dont know when they close I just know when we close, i felt i was keeping them from other things.Just a rude place, the work i did see wasnt all that impressive, as a tattoo artist myself i would never treat a potential customer like that.

I went with a friend to get the start of a sleeve and was sooo impressed by artist Scott Browns ability to transform Bobbys vision into a badass work of art that he totes proudly! Called before and Scott told us to come right in that same day. Scott not only worked up Bobbys idea, but was willing to do it THAT day!! Mid session, Scott asked Bobby if he could add some improv and the final result WAS INCREDIBLE! Essentially called, walked in... and walked out super satisfied!The ambiance of the place also displays a lot of the adventures of Rob Zombie-- and other kick-ass cool kids who pass through and have one of the artists transform the canvases of their skin.Definitely worth the puddle jump from Springfield. Ive seen and heard of people traveling from out of state to see the artists here. Already thinking up some designs for my next tattoo to get here!!

This place did a full arm piece on my lower arm and they were amazing they did my husbands have sleeve with leaves and again amazing detail very nice guys and love love that theyre open until 12 a.m. if youre looking for a last-minute this place is great they do walk-ins as well they were a little short but other than that they were very nice courteous and the main thing was the details in the preciseness of the ink and the design which all in all is a 10 out of a 10 great work it was very pricey however it is on the Route 66 so theyre there because its a Scenic Place so I understood and the detail alone was worth it

The tattoos were nice, but this is one of the unfriendliest tattoo shops I’ve been to. Not sure if that’s supposed to be their vibe but we didn’t really enjoy our time here.

I got a simple silhouette of a girl tattooed on my forearm. The artist was friendly, he talked to me the entire time. The lines are a little wobbly in places, and it looks like some spots did not get ink. He never explained suggested aftercare to me

I was in riggs monster tatoo in branson today, i had a tatoo in mind and seneca gave me so many better ideas on it. He was awesome, it was way better then i could have imagined.
