It is such a good feeling to find a person that upholds their trade in the most professional manner. Zero from @calpunktattoo shows such a high level of professionalism, friendliness and precision when he has done ear piercings. This was an amazing experience for my daughter. I will go back to him cause the cleanliness and professionalism are so evidenr. Thank you Zero!

Been a while since I wrote a review, but feel like I have to give credit where credit is due! I started my sleeve about 5 years ago and have put off getting in finished since then. For whatever reason getting tattooed has always been anxiety provoking for me…but the shop at calculated punkture definitely had a much different vibe that was very welcoming for everyone. I felt right at home from the second I walked in the door. The shop was very clean and organized.. I was asked if I wanted a drink, pillows or a blanket which was a really nice touch. The shop owners wife was also there who was so sweet and checked on me periodically.. now the tattoo review! Juarez has an incredible talent for bringing a vision to life.. the space I needed filled was kinda an awkward one and I’m not great at explaining things. I gave “him crying girl and flowers” and he absolutely killed it! I didn’t even need to send a inspo pic. Highly recommend trusting his abilities and letting him bring your ideas to life! He was really great during the entire process and I felt really comfortable from start to finish. Zero anxiety! Such a great experience. 100/10 recommend Juarez and his shop!!

Juarez is an amazing artist. The place is clean and had a pretty eclectic soundtrack going on. I will be back!

I was just here to get my septum pierced. The piercer was very rude and not welcoming, I am also 13 and was very nervous but also did not feel and comfort in being there. The piercing looks nice but he did not use any clamps and was very rude to my mom and sister.

I got pierced by a guy name Zero. His real name is Danny. He is the worst piercer i have ever had. He is extremely rude. He told me to shut my mouth and let him pierce because he doesnt have time to wait. When I was scared. I was getting my nose pierced and asked him to wait a few seconds so I can take a breath. In the end the piercing was very crooked, I had to have it removed by another piercing shop because i was too scared to go back to him. I thought he was going to yell at me again. GO TO INDIGO OR LOTUS IF YOU LIVE IN ANTIOCH AREA. Trust me, i been pierced at both those places and they are extremely nice and both use higher quality jewelry. Dont get pierced by zero

Zero did a fantastic job piercing my ears. Just showed up as a walk in. The guy knew what he was doing and was efficient. Good pricing too.Thanks dude!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR PIERCING. WORST DECISION I EVER MADE.THE GUY WHO PIERCED ME WAS RUDE AND NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL. ON TOP OF PIERCING MY LIP IN THE WRONG SPOT.DIDNT ASK ME WHERE I WANTED MY PIERCING OR NOTHINGAND ONCE PIERCED THEN HE ASKED LIKE HUHTHE NEXT DAY LIP RING KEPT SNAGGING ON MY TEETH WHICH MADE IT WORSE.MY LIP IS INFECTED PUS KEEPS COMING OUT OF THE HOLE.I TOOK OUT IMMEDIATELYIF IT DOESNT HEAL IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS I WILL BE GOING TO THE ER.AND I DO NOT REMEMBER HIS NAMEWHEN I WALKED IN HE WAS SITTING IN THE CORNER TO THE LEFT.I WILL BE GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE ONCE MY PIERCING HEALS.

Walked in excited to get a piercing with my aunt, and 3 were sitting behind the desk they didnt say anything to us, then a guy from the side in the corner welcomed us, and i asked “who do we speak to about a piercing?” Because i dont know how it works.. and the girl with brown curly hair (behind the desk) looked up with a stank face said “uhh the one who’s talking to you” like ????? Super unprofessional and rude for no reason. I thought you talk to the people that’s BEHIND the desk. Guess times have changed. Anyway… wouldn’t recommend spur of the moment to go here.P.s walked right out :)

We called at 5 pm to see if we could make an appointment to get the kid in to peirce his ears, and by 5:30, he had earrings. Outstanding service and true professionalism. We cant wait to get tattoos there. The adults... not the kid!

Danny the Piercer is amazing! I’ve gotten pierced before at other places, but Danny literally makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Going into shops is so intimidating for me but Danny made this experience worth it! I want to go back for more!!

Best experience. I had 6 piercings. 2 above lobe piercing and 3rd lobe piercing in both ears. I was a bit nervous. I was in and out quicker than it took to drive there. No Pain! Afterwards, No Pain! Amazingly affordable. Tip your piercer! Well Deserved!We took my boyfriends daughter to Claires. They used a gun piercer. She unfortunately had pain following the piercing and the cost was incredibly high. The only reason we went to Claires was, his daughter was visiting for the summer and we didnt have the proper paperwork at Calculated Punkture Studio. Very Professional! Hands Down, the Best Place to go.

Danny is absolutely wonderful! He helped me with a rook piercing that kept falling out, I went to two previous piercers before and they kept sticking in the same small earring that just wasn’t working. Danny was the only one who cared enough and took the time to change it. On top of that I was having a really rough morning and financially I was going through it I couldn’t even get to work that day & he fixed it for me for free. Even though he didn’t know all that I was going through , that was something that he didn’t have to do. I really appreciated it more than he knew and highly recommend going to visit Danny he’s very passionate about piercing and his handles his clients with genuine care ! Not to mention his hands were soft af he’s not rough whatsoever! 😊

Danny I think? Was my piercer and he pierced my nose, it hurt a lot, but that was only because i have a thick nose, but overall I LOVED the outcome, i’ve gotten so many compliments on how good my stud piercing looks on me, gave me a sheet on aftercare and everything. 10/10, would recommend!

The studio was nice and very clean the ambiance was perfect. I loved the decor all around the studio. The staff was very nice and professional. The only reason Im giving 3 stars was that the piercer was very arrogant and rude to all customers. I watched him interact with others before me and he had the same attitude. He would benefit from taking some kind of course or taking others staff advice on how to treat and speak to customers. I will definately NOT be returning or recommending any one to use their services.

Danny was awesome !!!!!! My daughter wanted a nose piercing for her 17th birthday. Danny explained everything we needed to bring in for her to get it. She was very comfortable with Danny. Explained all after care. So recommending this shop !!!! Very clean shop. Thank you

Got my septum pierced a few days ago and the piercer was very rude to me and my friend. didn’t use clamps and didn’t warn me so my piercing is now very crooked. didn’t check my anatomy or ask what jewelry i wanted and was very disrespectful. do not come here for a piercing.

Absolutely amazing people. Danny was super nice! Got my tongue pierced and he walked me through everything for it! I was recommended by some friends I work close to and they said Danny was the best. I totally agree!

I cant say enough about this place! We called to see if theyd pierce my 8-year-olds ears (some piercists wont even with parents present). Danny explained everything and said he could get us in that night. Right away, over the phone, he seemed to have a very respectful approach to working with kids: hes not going to pierce them without consent--from both the parent and the child.My little girl had initially wanted a woman to pierce her ears so we asked if she was okay with having a man do it to which she agreed because she just wanted it done at that point. So we go down there real quick.And dude has horns.She went from thinking some preschool teacher or nurse was gonna do it to a guy with horns.BUT! it was seriously perfect, and I could tell she was comfortable around him right away even though she was nervous about the piercing. He was so kind and talked her through the whole process.He pierced one ear. All went well. Then he pierced the other and began putting the earring in.Then baby girl passed out. Literally passed out. And even still, Danny was calm and caring and the other guy in the shop brought her Smarties. (I was a little freaked out at first because her older brother has epilepsy and I thought she was seizing at first, but it was fine.)Overall, we were all really happy with the experience. (The bonus being she doesnt remember the pain of the second piercing because she fainted.)East County folks, dont bother running to Berkeley to wait in long lines for piercings. These people are great!

Walked in this shop and my first impression was how clean their stations were. I met the body piercer Danny at the counter. He was very knowledgeable and adressed all of my concerns appropriately. His professionalism was outstanding considering he was preparing to pierce both of my nipples. He demeanor was calm which made the situation less stressful. The procedure was fast and painless. Highly reccomend going to danny for your next piercing.

Zero starsI come with my daughter because she wants a septum piercing and this guy make a really bad job he never use the pliers to make sure the needle doesn’t move out of the area.We come back just to get removed because was really off.And he just said: sorry is a really hard place to look,really!After this I don’t F recommend this place anymore.

Jenny was awesome. She did a great job on my tattoo and was super quick! Less than 30 minutes. The stations were clean and everything came out of new packaging.

Danny is a great guy! Did a piercing for me - walk in - and it went smoothly and painlessly. Hes very helpful and explains it from beginning to at home care.

Don’t get piercings from here, it’s not good quality jewelry and the piercer’s very rude. I now have a crooked tongue piercing that will be getting taken out.

I went to Calculated Punkture to get a ear piercing. I was greeted by Danny, who is the shops piercer. I loved Danny, he lets you know step by step what he is getting ready to do. Danny pierced tragus on my ear. I LOVE IT!! Thanks Danny 😁

I came in for a piercing staff is nice. They make you feel so comfortable and explain everything right from the start. Ive recommend theme to friends and family and I personally will keep going here.

Jenny Bunny Bunn did a fabulous job! She actually listens to your ideas, you can email pictures of what you have and what you are thinking about. I met with her for about 10-15 minutes and we already had an idea of what we wanted to do for fill-ins around other tattoos. She is comfortable suggesting what will bring out the other tattoos you have so that you can see them along with the new work. Contactor you will not be disappointed I promise you.

I have gotten all 21 of my piercings here and have never had a problem with any of them once, I’ve always had the quickest healing and the best experience here. Only place I will go!!!

All the guys here are super cool. I got a tattoo today with Mick. He did an excellent job, Mick is a very good artist and detail oriented. The place itself is not prententious at all. Highly recommend.
