This tattoo studio has the most amazing vibes (and super talented artists)!! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The environment is clean, artistic, and has such a great energy. The artists here are true professionals who really care about their work and clients. The attention to detail in the 2 tattoos I got is incredible, and Mar really brought the vision to life. If you’re looking for top-notch tattoo work in a place with a great atmosphere, this is the spot! :D

Update!We got our tattoos finished today and love how they turned out!They are great to work with! We had an appointment set up for a couple weeks and I wanted to change the design up and sent them a reference, they were so accommodating! Very straightforward and able to carry a conversation for hours. I recommend them 10 out of 5 stars! We have one more session to finish and we’re excited to go back!

I had Marlayna do my tattoo a few days ago and I am OBSESSED. She was able to make exactly what I wanted come to life and it came out perfectly!!Also the studio is soo cute and welcoming. If you’re looking for a tattoo artist in the Nashville/Franklin area SERIOUSLY check out Marlayna and Tattoo Ink Emporium. The vibes were spot on, the studio is clean, and both Marlayna and Paul were fun to chat with and a pleasure to work with. Marlayna’s fine line work is incredible, and she was patient and accommodating while designing and tweaking my vision to make it exactly what I wanted. On top of that, the pricing is incredibly reasonable and I think my tattoo may have actually been licked on by kittens, it was that tolerable. Can’t wait to work with them in the future!

Paul and Marlayna were absolutely amazing to work with. I have eight tattoos from various shops and this was by far the most relaxing, welcoming, nonjudgmental shop I have ever been to.Paul has an incredible attention to detail. He patiently talked through my placement options and gave me feedback versus the standard “it’s your tattoo” rhetoric I’m used to getting.I will absolutely be returning and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tattoo in the area!As for my actual tattoo, it’s healing really well!

Marlayna is such a joy to work with! From the consultation to sending reference photos to final clean up - everything was smooth and welcoming. She is incredible at both realism and fine line. Paul did my tattoo while Marlayna did my best friend’s, and they were both quick, professional, and cool af. They made us feel so comfortable and were so helpful with our tattoos! Been to many different tattoo shops in my life and this place is one of the best. Paul and Marlayna have put tons of time and effort into make the studio clean and inviting and the shop is in a great area. My tattoo came out amazing, exactly what I wanted. For any first timers (speaking from experience as my first was terrible) this is the place to go. They’re knowledgeable in regards to the science of tats and after care and they’re not afraid to suggest anything you might not have thought of when you come with an idea of what you want, a lot of spots just want you to make up your mind so you can get in there and they can make money. I have been going to Marlayna for years now. I have followed her from her old tattoo parlor. Her work is incredible. Paul is the same way. They love what they do and it shows in their work. They make you feel so comfortable in their shop and listen to everything that you say about your ideas. I will never let anyone else tattoo me. They are the absolute best. Hands down.

I went to Marlayna for my first tattoo recently, first walking in it’s a very clean, friendly and welcoming environment. Everyone made sure I felt comfortable. She put in the time to move around my tattoo until I loved the placement. Marlayna made sure to talk me through the tattoo making sure I felt comfortable taking breaks if needed, and the after care for it. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a tattoo. I was introduced to Paul because my fiancé has been going to him for a couple years. I just had my third appointment, and Paul has given me four tattoos. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would bc he definitely deserves it! Paul is an extremely talented tattoo artist… definitely a master of his trade. All of the tattoos he’s given me are absolutely amazing and have healed beautifully. M Their shop is cute and clean, the vibe in the there is very chill, they are both very nice and down to earth, they are talented and professional, their prices are fair, and the work you get for your money is top notch! I will never go anywhere else to get a tattoo and you shouldn’t either!!!!!

I first came across The Tattoo Ink Emporium in November of ‘23 when my daughter was ready to get her first tattoo and was looking for a female artist. Marlayna reached out to us, personally and we’ve been going to her ever since! She has given my daughter two tattoos now and I have gotten 7 since November. Her and her partner, Paul, are both great artists and great people to work with! They do everything to make sure you get exactly what you want. Going to their studio is like hanging out with your friends. I’ve always had a great experience with them! 😊

Marlayna did a great job with my tattoo! Her design was exactly what I wanted and the experience was quick and easy. I enjoyed the experience of the small salon space and felt comfortable getting my first tattoo, which was great. The space was clean and well maintained.

Marlayna worked with us on getting three of us exactly what we wanted. She took the time to draw up ideas and change things out. We decided to add another few small tattoos and she was willing to do it on the fly for us. The shop was clean and private. They were super friendly and pleasant to chat with while in the shop. Highly recommend Marlayna and the shop!

GREAT atmosphere and really great people to hang out with while getting a tattoo!! Got this done about a month ago, i was waiting for it to heal but then forgot to take a good picture. literally cannot say enough great things about my experience. i decided i needed another tattoo and came across marlayna’s instagram and reached out with my idea and even though i only had a short amount of time to be able to get it done, she got me in. the atmosphere is so welcoming and calm, definitely the best shop i’ve ever been to. i travel back and forth from cincinnati to nashville and would rather drive 5 hours to get something done here than anywhere else close. i already have two more appointments with marlayna coming up and couldn’t be more excited.

The environment of this shop is welcoming and relaxing. Marlayna does amazing fine line work. I’m currently in the process of getting a sleeve, and Marlayna has been great about making my ideas come to life and helping me place the pieces. We’ve done linework and I’ve made another appointment for shading!Paul’s tattoo shading and linework is absolutely stunning. I absolutely will be back for many more tattoos from the both of them!

Have been wanting to get a cover up for sometime now and when I reached out to Marlayna she was quick to respond and worked with me to come up with a design that would best cover my old tattoo but that I would also love. The design and placement came out PERFECT! Cover ups aren’t easy but with my new piece you would never know anything was there before! So excited to finally have a beautiful piece that I’m happy to show off. Can’t wait to book another appointment!

Such an amazing experience! Contacted the emporium the night before and they were able to fit in 4 of us the next day. They took their time to understand what we wanted and gave us advice about each piece. Changed the placement of mine like 3 times and never felt like they were upset with me or rushing me. The tattoo work was fabulous and they even gave us extra second skin and told us about products they recommended. 10/10 would recommend to friends and come back! Thank you guys!!!!

I’ve been going to these artists since I turned 18 and I have gotten countless pieces from them. Like literally so many. They are absolutely incredible artists and I recommend them to absolutely everyone and anyone. Not only is their art incredible, they are both amazing people with great hearts. They are so kind and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them every time I go to get tattooed. They price very fairly and they are punctual, thoughtful, and respectful. I have never once had a bad experience with them. Love these guys!!!!

It’s easy to understand how this studio has all 5 stars. Because this truly was an amazing experience! I spent HOURS searching for tattoo shops in Nashville and everything was either way overpriced, not the style we were looking for, or showed inconsistent work online/had concerning reviews. My friends and I finally landed on The Tattoo Ink Emporium. They had great work displayed online, impeccably fast responses on Facebook with specific info about pricing/expectations, were super chill in the conversation, and very accommodating to a last minute appointment. My friends and I went in the next day and part of me was worried about being judged for being “those girls”, waltzing in for small girly tattoos, but Paul was so welcoming and complimented all of our ideas and gave very professional insight as well. The space is super cute, felt very clean. I felt very safe overall in both their hands and we all left obsessed with our tattoos. Thank you so much P&M! We already are planning our trip back to Nashville this summer to come see you guys because it went THAT awesome.

This was such an amazing experience. A few friends and I visited Nashville for spring break and decided to research a reputable tattoo shop a little outside the city. Ultimately we went with the Ink Emporium because their work looked phenomenal online and were very accommodating for our last minute ideas. Marlayna and Paul executed my vision beautifully, and Marylana pulls the thinnest lines I’ve ever seen. I’m so happy with my tattoo and cannot wait to visit again! We did a walk in and she put together what my husband and I were wanting and made sure it was exactly what we wanted and gave us the best advice when we said what we wanted and size etc. We love them. Over a month ago I got two smaller tatttoos on my arm. Both artists in the shop were very nice. The lady was tattooing a separate customer and her work looked incredible!!The man did my tattoos, I will take some fault in myself for not leaving and trusting my gut. This was the 4th artist I’ve had tattoo me, and the first one to on his own before the tattoo began talk about and mention doing free touch ups, fixes, clean ups, etc a few months after the tattoo if needed because they “understand things happen” … should’ve been my red flag #1. The first tattoo was done good, no complaint. Second one, felt rushed as he was tattooing. His demeanor changed. Got to the car, noticed instantly blown lines, ink totally not where the stencil was. I messaged them, was nice and gave them the benefit of the doubt. As it healed it got worse and on the other end where it WASN’t blown out or wrong, ink dissapeared as it healed. I msged again and he was still nice, I informed I wouldn’t take his offer for free touch up and would have someone else fix it sadly. Appreciate they’re want to help and fix it, but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place and I was never offered any time of payment reimbursement.

I got my very first tattoo here just a week ago and I’m in love with this place and the people! They make you feel super comfortable and welcomed, they are straight up with you and have great intentions. Amazing artwork and super cool setup. My tattoo came out exactly what I wanted! The healing process is going very smoothly for me because they make sure to give you plenty of advice and after careful tips. Definitely will be coming back for more❤️

Ive had two tattoos done here from bothPaul and Marlayna! Great experience each time. Love my new ink.The shop is small, private, bright and inviting. Unlike your average tattoo shop thats dark and stand offish. This is more of a high end - posh even, type shop!If youre a female like me that was worried about going into a tattoo shop, this was the opposite of what youd expect. The walls are pink and they have a great trellis back drop to take pictures in.Definitely give these guys a try! Will be back again!
