Melinda has been my tattoo artist for 7 years. This is her latest work on me;but it is also one of the most amazing creative things that Ive seen in quite a while. I basically went to her and said I want this and these words. She designed the rest all on her own. Every single person who works there is always so nice and such fun conversations. Their prices are definitely worth the work that they do. I have work that she had done for years and the color still looks beautiful. 10 stars

A group of us wanted to come in together and Harrison was willing to come in on his day off to accommodate us, he took time to design tattoos for us before our visit and make personal adjustments to each one, the studio was clean and comfortable. We had a great experience and will come back for any further tattoos—The tattoos came out great, we couldn’t be happier, wonderful customer service, thanks Alchemy!

Alchemy is a gem! Every single artist in Alchemy is very talented. Harrison is a phenomenal artist with amazing skill. I had 2 large pieces done by Harrison and I highly recommend him! He designed and tattooed both for me and the vision I had for these two pieces was met and exceeded. I wouldn’t go to anyone else! I highly recommend Alchemy!I also had a Daith piercing done by Amanda, she is great and very skilled.

Harrison is a talented artist and also just a really nice, genuine guy - the time flew by. It’s my first tattoo after many years of sitting on the fence, so the stakes were high. I gave him a couple of ideas and things I liked and he came through with this beauty - thanks, Harrison!

Got a septum piercing and it was great. She was patient and quick and answered all my questions, the price was totally reasonable, and I had zero problems with healing or anything. The vibes were good too. I definitely recommend this shop!

I have had multiple piercings done here by Manna. They’re all healing great and I appreciate how professional and kind she is. It is also very nice to see how clean everything is. I definitely feel comfortable getting pierced here.

Ive wanted a specific tattoo for a few years now and finally pulled the trigger during my trip to Denver. I found Alchemy online and was happy to see they accommodated walk-ins! I messaged them on their website first and then Harrison walked me through the process from start to finish. Even from the mini phone consultation I knew I was in good hands! He listened to what I wanted but also gave dynamite advice based off of his years of experience. He did a great job, made me feel at ease and we had a great chat during the process. When he was done he took the time to go over the maintenance process for the next few weeks. I appreciate the clean, comfortable atmosphere of the studio. These are real artists at work! Came here with my daughter who wanted to get her 2nd lobe and I got my Rook with her. I did not catch the gentleman’s name up front, but the greeter was amazing and friendly in answering our questions.Amanda who was our piercer as such a sweetheart, attentive to my daughter whose fear of needles result in non-stop laughter. She was patient with her in letting her calmDown her laughter before she pierced.The shop itself is calm, beautiful artwork on the walls, and clean. Definitely plan on coming back for other piercing and possible tattoo needs :).Thank you Amanda for being great .

Today was the second kid I took for ear piercing and it’s the second excellent job they did. Amanda was so cool, friendly and professional. The place is clean, she centered the pierce perfectly and made my daughter really comfortable. Great place in Brighton.

Melinda came up with a great design that included all my cats! Its cute and fun and I love it! She was fast but paid attention to details.

Amanda was amazing!!! My sister and I both got our noses pierced and my sister also got an industrial. She was very thorough, walking through the entire process. She made sure we knew exactly what was happening in each part!

I had never gotten a tattoo before. Noticed this place had walk ins! So I figured why not, if I didn’t see anything I liked I could at least check it out and get an idea of what to expect. Then we met Harrison! I told him a little about my kids, and how I really had no idea what I wanted, and how I loved spooky things. and he came up with the most adorable, spooky tattoo! I loved it so much I got it the same day! He kept me laughing the whole time to keep the nerves and some of the pain down. Thanks to his assurance and creativity, I have the best first tattoo!! Such amazing detail and such a great experience! 100% recommend to anybody.

I booked an appointment with Harrison for the start of my half sleeve. I gave him a general idea of what I was looking for. He took my idea and turned it into something absolutely amazing! I had a tattoo done by Dame, quick, clean & professional. Was done 8 months ago & the red is still vibrant! I Liked the shop so much I chose to come back in and have my septum pierced by Amanda! She is so knowledgeable and it was so much better Thant when I had it previously pierced. (Was pierced through cartilage, crooked & too far back the first time I had it done @ a different shop) it was so easy this time! & healing much faster.*HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I got my firstPiece done by Harrison and I am in love with it, he was very honest and helpful with my tatto giving me his input on what would look good and give me enjoyment for this piece, I gave him a simple example and he came back with a design that did not disappoint. Loved my experience with Alchemy! All artists are talented, friendly and professional. A great environment! Harrison did my forearm tattoo for me. Not only did he take my references and killed the design, but the execution was killer and exceeded my expectations! Harrison took amazing care of me from start to finish. The atmosphere was extremely professional and everyone in the shop made the experience that much better. I had such a great experience with this shop. I have multiple tattoos from multiple shops and this is by far one of my favorites. It’s clean, welcoming and very well maintained. I walked in to make an appointment and Harrison was able to get me in right then. I was finishing my half sleeve with odd empty spaces and he took my ideas and make them all fit on the spaces I had left. He took pictures of my arm and designed the tattoo on an iPad to fit my actual arm shape. I would recommend him to anyone but especially first time tattoo goers. He was very easy to talk to and made you feel very comfortable. This will definitely be my new go to shop!!

I had such a great experience here! I had a walk in appointment due to a cancellation from another shop in town. I was able to get in with little notice and Dameon had my tattoo done within an hour. It looks great and was very affordable.

Everyone at this shop is very nice and willing to help with any questions and scheduling. I called Harrison before Christmas and he got me in the same day to talk about design and scheduling for the piece. Harrison has done a couple pieces on me now and goes above and beyond to take the time designing something that just blows you away. Got a tattoo recently from someplace else that I wasn’t happy with and visited this studio to see about getting adjustments/reworkings. Harrison took on the challenge and did an amazing job adding details to make it what I wanted from the start. He walked me through the process and didn’t take creative liberties without asking (like the original artist did) and really turned a hot mess into a beautiful tattoo. He was super talented and also fun to chat with. The shop and other artists as a whole were welcoming and it was all around a great experience.

Landon was amazing. I was set on getting my sister’s signature on my wrist. She recently passed away and getting this tattoo done meant everything to me. Landon texted aftercare instructions and even sent me home with his amazing love butter to apply. I am already planning to work with Landon again on a bigger shoulder piece in memory of my sister.

Amanda is absolutely amazing! Took myself and daughters to her for nose piercings and Amanda was absolutely the best! I appreciate her soo much for being super professional and knowledgeable about our appt. 10/10 recommended this shop and definitely Amanda for piercings.

Harrison was awesome! Crushed a large piece on my arm in 5 hours only taking breaks if I needed them. Would recommend to anyone he also did a piece on my girlfriend the next day which came out dope and looked super clean! Definitely coming back for my next piece.

I got two small tattoos by my artist, Landon and he was great! The place is very clean and quiet and has an amazing ambiance about it. They got my friend and I in quickly as walk-ins and did a great job. They’re very reasonably priced for their work and both our artists did exceptional jobs! Will definitely go back when I’m in Brighton again.

Update from my initial 1 star review post: I received an unexpected call from the owner (a couple hours after my post)who really wanted an opportunity to make it right. You can tell the owner is passionate about customer satisfaction and the quality of work that comes from his shop. You can tell it was a genuine attempt to make me happy and I am big on customer service and love when I see businesses exhibiting it to the highest level. I initially gave the review a 1 but after the service I received from Dameon, made the adjustments to reflect it. The artist work was a 1 the service was a 10. Ive learned some valuable lessons like the tattoo are lifelong from this. Ill be better with my research and patient with decision making when it comes to tattoos in the future.

My daughter got a tattoo from Melinda recently, she is quick and awesome at what she does! I got one from her 16 years ago and it still looks great. We would not go to anyone else for tattoos. My daughter also got her nose pierced there and that was a great experience as well!

Got my septum pierced here by Amanda, her vibes were immaculate and the jewelry selection for a first time septum piercing was pretty good considering the traditional choice is just a silver medical grade toro style with the two balls. I was able to get something beautiful that looks perfect on me. She was super fast and super clean. Loved the atmosphere of this place too. I would absolutely come back here again.

It’s not often that you find a tattoo shop where you are completely comfortable the entire time, but this place was phenomenal. We went in for a piercing. My daughter wanted her belly button done, but she had issues before when it was pierced at another shop. We were educated by Amanda and explained why it had been rejected and advised another piercing. My daughter had her eyebrow done instead. Amanda was so patient with her. She was nervous, and Amanda was amazing at getting her to calm down. She was so professional and clean. Gave good advice for care as well. Will be going back for a piercing of my own soon.

This was about my 3rd time at this shop and as usual they did amazing. The service is always kind and efficient. Not to mention the shop is always clean. I had Landon tattoo on my knee. If you’re sensitive, he has a light hand with very crisp and sharp lines. By far the best tattoo experience, I’ve had. I was in and out, Landon tattooed quickly and efficiently. Manna is awesome. She pierced my nose a year ago, no issues what so ever and it healed great. I’ve been back twice to purchase new jewelry and get assistance with switching it out. Every time I’ve been here it’s clean, everything is sanitized and Manna is so professional and nice.

I had a recent crazy life experience that I wanted to portray on my body through art. I had contacted the shop and had gotten in touch with Harrison, he listened to my story . Then immediately got to work and came up with a beautiful original piece that captured the essence of my story. We are very happy with our experience here. My husband and son got matching art by White Boy Damien.

They are amazing. Me and my sister in law went in out of the blue and they said we will get you Harrison as an artist. He was tattooing someone at the time but they fit us in. We came back the time directed for us and he was ready to go right away. We sat down and talked about the tattoo and why we were getting them. We asked about other designs for the future and he made sure to talk about what would look good and what wouldn’t look the best and why. He still made sure it was known why he was saying what he was saying. The entire time we talked. We each got two little tattoos and we were there five hours tattooing by and talking. He took his time and during this he got to know us made the experience way more personal and makes it a million times better. The tattoo work was amazing and I am definitely going back.

My mom and I went in to get tattoos done by Maile. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The shop was clean and we were taken to the back very quickly. It was a really calm and peaceful experience. The work that we got done by her came out amazing. I would be very happy to get more work done at this shop!

Absolutely love this place! I drive 45 minutes to get tattooed by Melinda because shes epic and can finish large pieces fairly quick compared to other artists in denver area. Plus, every artist there is held at great standard and can meet the expectations youre looking for and they pierce people!!

I have many tattoos and have gone to multiple shops in different states. I was very impressed with this shop. Not only are the people great but the shop itself is very open and bright. I got my nose pierced here as well as a few tattoos from Melinda. She is very knowledgeable and is more then willing to work with you to get a piece you love. I took my 9 year old daughter here to get her ears pierced. The experience was amazing! Everything was clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and they made my daughter feel really comfortable. I’m absolutely blown away by my tattoo experience here! A friend and I called to see about getting a same day tattoo with low hopes and not only were we taken in by them, Harrison made our entire day! He sat down and really took time to talk with us and make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted, he brought life to a doodle my mom had done for me while keeping it true to what she had drawn, and there wasn’t a minute we were in the shop where we weren’t dying of laughter or making great connections. I had so much fun I completely forgot I was even being poked repetitively with a needle haha. I’ll definitely be coming back for future tattoos and would highly recommend the artists at this shop, they’re all outstanding at what they do! Anyone can be a tattooer but it takes someone above and beyond to be a tattoo artist and everyone in that shop showed us that above and beyond service. I feel like I left with new friends!

I love this place and the people that work there! I took my 17 yr old daughter for her first tattoo ever with Damien! I had to leave to go grab her birth certificate and was gone for most of the tattoo session. When I got back he was almost done and she was all good and comfortable! They are a very welcoming group of peeps! Id give 9 stars if I could!

Absolutely amazing. Melinda has been doing my tattoos for just over 15 years. I drive 45 min to see her. She is honest with her opinion and an amazing artist. Whether its your first or 50th tattoo, she will not disappoint. She is our official family artist. There are now five in my family who use Mel, including my 18 yr old niece who got her first tattoo today and loves it. I highly recommend .

Clean shop and great artists! I recently got my septum pierced by Amanda. I had wanted this piercing for a few years but have always been hesitant to actually get it. She was very kind, calm and knowledgeable about the different piercings and their aftercare routines. I left knowing exactly how to care for my new piercing and I absolutely love the end result! Every single artist has a unique style and they are so good at communicating what is going to look good years down the road and what is going to look terrible. In an industry that is always in high demand, being of the ability to get me in for a tattoo as a walk in, I will be back here even if the next tattoo requires an appointment. The people here are friendly, in great spirits and they know how to have fun all while providing the exceptional level of professionalism anyone would more than likely expect. I had a small tattoo covered with the libra scales, in a unique fashion, being as the artist was exceptionally talented at adding in a little spice to the meal if you will. She was phenomenal. I will be spending more money here for more artistic greatness without a doubt in my mind.

We went there today for a nose piercing. We were very friendly greeted and we felt comfortable right away. My teen was a little scared since it was her first piercing. Amanda did a great job. Got the best tattoo Ive ever had here I definitely recommend it and Im from Chicago so this is worth the distance. Love the hells bells I got.- update to 2024 now still love the tattoo and need some micro touch ups on some really small parts but these guys have made the best art in ink I’ve seen since Miami inks on tv. All my other ink has blow outs or scars but these guys they pay attention to your skin. I’m living in Illinois now but I’m saving money to get back and finish up with a sleeve idea to complete this. So be ready for a AC/DC album title mash up idea. Price was extremely worth every detail.

I’ve been going to Melinda and Damian for years now. They do the best work you can imagine. Mel has redone my entire sleeve. Damian kills is on super detailed fine work like my half sleeve on my arm. No one has better artists than these guys and their line work looks like a staraught edge was used to make it perfect. My wife has a full sleeve from them as well. Dame was my artist. He was super sweet but When I took the glove off to finally see my rose tattoo I cried. It is the worst tattoo on my body. I’m so upset and now I’m stuck with this tattoo. The rose looks like an uneven circular balloon. He also did my boyfriends tattoo and the shading is missing pieces and his finger looks like he outlined it. I’m so upset!!

Melinda’s work is unrivaled. She has done 4 of my tattoos and touched up one that another artist elsewhere botched. Alchemy Art Collective is, not gonna lie, the best tattoo shop that Ive been to so far. As soon as you walk in, it gives off a good vibe and you feel comfortable there. They greet you as you walk through the door. It isnt over crowded or over whelming with pictures all over the wall, they keep it clean and organized. The artist there are funny and make you laugh and their artwork will impress you. Another best thing about it is that you dont have to drive so far away, its right in town. I definitely recommend going there, Im definitely going back.

I had an internal thread nose piercing and had to take it out for a MRI. I couldnt get it back on after the procedure and called Alchemy Art Collective to see if their piercer could put it back in for me. Melinda told me they piercer was off so I asked her for help so that my piercing wouldnt close. She told me she would try to put it in for me. So I drove straight from the Emergency room to the shop. Melinda was in the middle of a tattoo, but had explained my situation to get client who graciously took a break from her tattoo so Melinda could help me. We werent able to get the jewelery back in so I bought one from the shop and Melinda place it for me. The price was amazing, the service is amazing and Im so grateful for everyones help. Im definitely recommending Alchemy Art Collective to everyone I know.
