Scotty did my tattoo coverup and cartilage piercing and he was amazing. I am absolutely in love with my tattoo. He made me feel really comfortable and is super nice. Everyone working there that I interacted with were really nice. I will definitely return for any future piercings and tattoos.

I took my daughter here to get her nose pierced for her birthday and less than 3 hours later I had to take her to a different location because we was in Charlottesville due to dr appts but had to take her else where asap because the L shaped ring came out of her nose and they had to repierce her nose a second time so not only did I pay to get it pierced but also had to pay to get it done again thankfully the other shop didn’t charge much to do it!! The guy that did it was great with my daughter I just wished it would have been done differently to avoid the issue we had he was very reassuring and helpful when giving instruction on after care and was super patient! If it wasn’t for the issues we had less than 3 hours after the piercing was done I would give 5 stars! It could happen to anyone anywhere they go to have this done!

A most amazing experience!! Took my daughter for her 1st tattoo. Steven was our artist and he did an exceptional job. He made my daughter feel relaxed and comfortable. His lines and circles were amazing. Thank you Steven for doing a wonderful job. Will be going back to see Steven for other work.

This has been one of the best tattoo shops I have been to. I went in there a and explained what I wanted and Scotty took right to it. I had even told him to make any changes that were necessary to make the tattoo look good and he made it look fantastic. I have two tattoos done by him and plan on going back. If your looking for a great tattoo shop and friendly people this would be the place!!

Got my nose pierced for my 15th birthday. I was SUPER nervous but he was so down to earth and supportive, very reassuring. My nose stud is placed perfectly and so far everything is going great with mostly no pain! Thank you so much!

I got my tongue pierced, the person who did it was very kind, it didnt even hurt, it looks perfect😻🫶

I got my vertical helix and other side of my nose re-pierced and Rusty was very kind he took his time with the piercings and answered all of our questions. He made the piercing process very easy and even gave us a hug at the end lmao. Definitely recommend going here!

Amazing tattoo from an even more amazing shop. When I walked into the shop the staff was so welcoming and friendly. Scotty, the owner did my tattoo and it turned out exactly like I wanted. Clean, professional and a great staff is what separates this tattoo shop from the rest.

AMAZING WORK. I believe I got my tat done by Timothy. Many tattoo artist I meet always try to do tattoos their way but he put his honest opinion to make my tattoo look amazing. I truly love their work. My tattoo took at least 2 hours it was a rib tat and it was very painful. He was very efficient. The service there is great I ended up paying 200 that includes tip they have good prices and I most definitely would get another one there!! They really try there best to fit you in and are so sweet. I feel you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover or a bad report. To people who may think there shop is dirty it’s very clean and they don’t reuse their needles.. I highly recommend this place! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOUU!!

Apparently the only person who does peircings in my town doesnt like to work so we came here for my daughters nose stud. Very down to earth nice professional people. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Explained placing for when she wants to change it to a hoop in the future, explained care, and spoke to my child like the little adult she is growing into not dismissing her to speak only to me. Will be back in the future.

When I went to get my conch and third lobe done I had a guy named Dex. He was super disrespectful and he seemed like he didn’t want to be there. He didn’t Id me, but Steven did ask for an id and had us fill out the form. Dex told me he didn’t have any other earrings besides gold, and birthstones but he didn’t really show me the other ones. I also didn’t get told how to clean my ear. After a few days I realized my ears were still throbbing, and my lobe was getting eaten by my ear. I got told it was infected and k started to treat it. When I switched my earrings I realized the gold was peeling off the earring. I was not satisfied at all! Looking back I wouldn’t recommend getting pierced by Dex.

Don’t ever get a piercing from here. They gave me a nose piercing and put a hoop in which you’re not supposed to do the first time. It can literally split your nose. Second, he tried putting the wrong size jewelry in my nose and kept pushing it in even when I told him to stop because of how painful it was. He kept trying until he realized it was too big and I already started bleeding. Horrible experience!!Update to the owner response:I quite literally have pictures of me after getting my piercing at your store and the bank statement showing I have been to your store. I absolutely got a hoop here and because it was my first, I didnt question it until later when it healed poorly other piercers kept asking me who pierced you with a hoop?. I even have a description of the piercer and called back a month or two after actually and was told he no longer works there. He was an older man with a gray beard, looked like he couldve been on Duck dynasty. Overall, no need of you recorrecting/fixing something you couldnt do right the first time... especially when its on my body.

Got my nose pierced by Scotty himself around a year ago. He was absolutely great! He took his time and the placement is perfect! Happy to say I’ll be returning soon to get my septum done!

Went in and the artist and his family was in the shop and they were all very nice! We sat down and he put the stencil of the tattoos on our ankles but then left the room for like 20 minutes. He had said he was going to take a smoke break which we didn’t mind but it turned into him doing other things and us waiting there confused. That made us a little nervous but once he came back everything was ready to go and he did a great job on the tattoos! Needles were both brand new which is always good and again he was very nice and made us feel comfortable. Not the best of the tattoo shops I’ve been but did the trick!

Went here to get my nose pierced - my first facial piercing - and it was absolutely great! The man that did it was so nice and chill, he explained the whole process and showed me how to clean it properly. Super helpful and I will recommend them to anyone interested!

Got my angel bites done here! the piercer was fun but professional. it was my first time and he gave me all the info i needed before and during the process. let me double check and fix the markings where the piercings were gonna go. was very gentle and professional!

Came in as a walk in, and Tim did an amazing job. I loved that I didn’t feel like a rush job or a burden for being a walk in. He made sure to help me pick out every detail and matched the mood I needed for the process. I got something so small, but it felt like he put in the same amount of work he would for a big piece! Definitely a casual environment, with a bunch of easy going artists.

Got my first tattoo ever by Jonjon. It looks amazing and in about 2 weeks I go back for the shading to get done. I highly recommend this tattoo shop. Everyone is super friendly and professional and they do great, high quality work. I will definitely be getting more tattoos here.

I took my daughter to get her nose and belly button pierced. Scotty was very good at telling her what she needed to do and taking care of it. He also kept her calm and not scared. I really appreciated that.

I got a tattoo about a month ago & I’m already going to get it covered up the guy that done it was super rude and jittery. It was supposed to be the Lilly of the valley and it looks like dead flowers. It also faded at the top of the flower already. I explained to him that he was literally digging in my arm and he said “oh I’m not hurting you I’m not drawing any blood so your okay”. He also admitted after getting my tattoo done to my friend that he does coke. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend.

My brother and I came in today to get tattoos for my dad, who is in UVA. I think the guy who did our tattoos was named Tim. He was super sweet and took his time trying out different designs and fonts to help us pick what we wanted. His lines are super clean and it was so nice of him to squeeze us in. He did very good work.

I had my bridge pierced by Tanya (hope I spelled her name right) and I had a great experience! She was very sweet and made my birthday even better. She made sure to place it carefully and it’s perfectly straight. I’m glad I came here because she’s clearly experienced and good at what she does! Thank y’all!

I was only in town for a day or two and when Scotty answered the phone I knew my first tattoo was going to be a phenomenal experience. Scotty was patient while the font style was chosen and friendly throughout the process!! How we laughed! The tattoo itself is first rate beautiful. Exactly what I wanted! I got my belly button pierced here and 2 days later got a tattoo done by Scotty Rock. He did an amazing job and took his time doing my tattoo. When it was done it was exactly how I wanted it. Also I didn’t have any issues with my piercing while it was healing. I’m gonna be going back soon to get another tattoo by him.

I got a tattoo here maybe 3~4 months ago and i need a touch up or maybe even a cover up! it was done by a young guy...i dont want to say his name and or embarrass him he did both of them in that one day on my arm and leg and they both look crazy ! ive never had that happen to any of my tattoos i didnt call the shop i just figured id leave a review for others be carful who you let do you work!!

I brought my two daughters to scotty rocks. One had her belly button pierced and the other had her Daix. They were so happy! The Daix truly stopped my daughter from having migraines, and my other daughter is truly happy with her belly button piercing.We went back and got my daughters nose pierced and shes so happy with it! I make an appointment and that time is literally mine. Scotty takes his time, and can customize any ink however you like. Love my new ink! And he fixed a botched one from Dreamland tattoos... I will continue to go there for anything I want done.

Got my first ink here; they made me feel very comfortable. The process was simple and they made sure I had all the info I needed. The tattoo is also very good; extremely accurate to the reference art.

Absolutely loved this place! Super nice staff, I got a sternum tattoo and it looks amazing. They used the nicer tattoo guns that are quieter not the scary loud buzzing ones!

Came in and nobody asked me if I needed anything for twenty minutes. There was a guy playing on his phone in the back, waved at him to get his attention and he looked at me in a rude manner. Then I saw a younger guy who worked there that was heavy set completely walk past me and go smoke a cigarette. All I wanted to do was some work on my sleeve. I went to this shop because of the reviews but now I’ll be taking my business to Mystic where they appreciate their customers.

This was the second time the wife and I got matching tats done at Scottys...we will definitely be back again, awesome people working here, friendly no attitudes they make a great effort to make sure you are happy with their work.

I got my nose pierced and I drove an hour to this piercing and tattoo parlor. It was worth every bit of time spent. Would recamend and if I ever want another piercing I will come here. A++

The guys and girl here are great, got my sons painting of a dump truck, and my artist suggest to put a driver in the truck, turned out awesome... Going back to have them finish the rest of the piece, one more tat to go with a lego boarder to finish it off... Yes they did the 💖 us ladys

My friend and I went to get matching tattoos that somehow turned out differently when using the same stencil. He rushed our tattoos and my line work was not good.

Reasonably priced, quick, and excellent results. Definitely coming back every time I roll through town.

Went for a 6 letter tattoo on my wrist...healed uneven..went back to get fixed and has STILL healed unevenly, now the fixed letters are way worse than before i got it fixed! It looks like my eight year old wrote back over it! Now i have to go somewhere else and pay for an expensive cover up! Check your artist BEFORE you let them mark you permanently!
