Charlie is by far the best tattoo artist of all time. He has always been extremely respectful and attentive through every single session (he’s done 6 tattoos on me so far). The color saturation is brilliant and has lasted! His lines are amazing, he has a gentle hand and his talent cannot be ignored. My most recent tattoo he did for me tonight he did without a stencil and I was blown away! I highly recommend Charlie to anyone who compliments my tats. Can’t wait for my next session!

I had the best experience this weekend as a walk-in. Martin did a cover up for me and it’s one of my favorite tattoos I have now. I’ve been to plenty of shops where I didn’t feel comfortable, but everyone in EM was super friendly, welcoming, and professional. Im excited to come back 🙂

Martin is an amazing artist and just did a hell of a tattoo. This is my second one from Martin, and couldn’t be happier. The first one he did was a portrait of my Yorkie shortly after he passed and now my newest one. Walked in looking for a souvenir tat for the souvenir leg. Chris hooked me up. Found a partial original design from the OG Captain Coleman. Nothing cooler than an artist doing a piece that they have love and passion for. My nephew’s in the Navy stationed near by got he’s first tattoo same day by Martin who nailed that pice to perfection. Both had great details and clean lines. Price point was also legit. Thanks y’all, overall vibe of the shop was dope as well. If you’re in town hit them up for a walk in, you won’t be disappointed. Nephews already dreaming up a list for them to work on.

My experience at this shop was subpar. I was a returning canvas and noticed how dismissive staff was to my ideas. After being tattooed I saw it should have been done better and My skin now appears damaged. Make sure you go to professionals and confident artist who take pride in their work.

It was my first tattoo. Charlie is the gentleman that did my tattoo. He was super sweet, funny, and so patient with me. I was super nervous. Even though I live 1000 miles away I would definitely use this place again. All the guys working were all fun and easy going.

Been a little while since I’ve stopped in, but anytime someone asks for a shop recommendation, this is the top of my list. Charlie is my favorite artist I‘ve had— his work is incredible and I’m always comfortable. Looking forward to eventually getting more work done!

Came in as a walk in to consult with an artist for a touch up on a tattoo from another tattoo shop and was paired up with Jake. After a thorough consultation, he’s got my tattoo looking amazing with the first session! The shop is clean. Everyone in the shop is super friendly and professional. Jake was very patient with me and did a wonderful job touching up my tattoo and adding on a bit more. I can’t wait to come back to finish up and see the end result in a few weeks!

Kind of a turnoff vibe. I have half my body covered in tattoos from 19 different countries so really dont require any advice from someone whos been running a tattoo counter for a few years. Guy was nice but kept trying to change my design to something HE was comfortable with.. All he kept saying was he couldnt do it but maybe there were people who could so I left to go find someone who could. Very next shop was completely different... Great atmosphere and killer design. Im not going to say the name of the second shop but if you know the area its only a few miles away.

Lester is an amazing artist. The shop is great. Very clean and very friendly. I have three tattoos from there and my wife has two. I wouldnt go anywhere else in 757 for ink.

Awesome job, great price. Update: went back a year after this tattoo with a concept. They helped me plan it and did an amazing job. So many people ask me where i got it and tell me how beautiful it is. Cant want to have yall turn it into a half sleeve.

Fantastic customer service and the lady at the counter was very helpful and polite. My tattoo artist, Martin, provided great conversation and easily worked with my tattoo with no problems. I really felt comfortable and not rushed going in there and plan on going back ASAPEdit one year later and after moving to Georgia i have yet to find a tattoo shop that does it better than these guys. Not kidding, my expectations are too high it ruined all the other tattoo places haha. I got my first tattoo ever here with Chris, and he’s an awesome artist. He did an amazing job and made my tattooing experience a chill one. The tattoo is healing well and looks SO good. The space is clean and friendly and I’ll definitely be coming back here for my next tattoo(s) when I’m able to make the time and a proper design for my next ones. Went here to get a tattoo on my birthday. The staff were SO friendly and accommodating!! My fiancé also got his (first!!) tattoo and it was a great experience. Highly recommended.

Just got my first tattoo here and had an incredible experience. My sister and I got matching tattoos done by Martin Buechler. I would highly recommend. I got my first tattoo back in 2019 by Chris and he was super awesome. Very kind and made me feel super relaxed. I just recently got another one by Annette and she was just as great. I really love this shop. They are all super friendly. I walked in and felt very welcomed and got exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be be back soon! Thank you guys for being so awesome.

The artist talked me out of my original idea but I trusted the artist. When the tattoo was finished it was nothing like what I had wanted and it was clear I was talked out of my idea because the artist was just not at the level to do what I wanted. I just wish the artist would have been more professional and respected me enough to own up to not being able to do the tattoo, instead of being in it for the money I guess. Its going to need many touch ups and a lot of reworking to even be near what I wanted. Its upsetting because now it can never be what I actually wanted. Im very disappointed.

I only go to Martin for tattoos. He is extremely kind and talented. My most recent tattoo is my favorite one yet. He took his time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and that I was comfortable. He placed the tattoo in two spots so I could decide what I wanted. The other artists are very personable as well. Overall another great experience at Electromagnetic Tattoo.

Stopped by for a lunchtime walk in for a quick touch up. Had some blue knuckle letters that were falling out a bit I had from another shop and Chris made quick and efficient work blasting over them with nice solid black. Couldnt be more pleased. So It Goes

Me and my daughter got matching tattoos last night. Chris was wonderful. Shop is extremely clean and well contained. I called about 6:30 and ask if they could fit us in. Chris was so nice and inviting that we immediately changes our minds about going to another shop down the street. Glad we did. Love our tattoos and made a new friend.

I went a week ago very nervous to get my very first tattoo and Steve was my artist. He was so patient, making sure I knew exactly what was going on and how the process worked including how to properly care for it afterwards. Today I returned and had a tattoo done by Adam, who I believe was a guest artist. He was absolutely amazing. Both tattoos look better than I imagined. Once I get an idea in my head on what to do with the rest of my sleeve, I will be back to this shop. I would recommend anyone go here for clean work and a great atmosphere. Oh also to add, Annette was walking around and making sure everyone was doing ok, artiste included. A small, yet appreciated gesture.

My experience was super awesome! Went there talked with Chris, he’s very cool and down to earth individual and made the atmosphere comfortable. We looked a few different tattoos lettering styles and he helped me choose the best one. Kevin actually did my tattoo, he was fantastic. Kevin was so determined to have the right placement of my tattoo that he a wasn’t satisfied until he got it right. I actually love the fact that he did that because he made me feel he wasn’t just putting my tattoo anywhere and sending me out the door. Thank you guys my experience was the best as always! This was my first tattoo and it was such a great experience! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, shop was clean, and I really appreciated that they are taking proper precautions to prevent the spread of COVID.I was able to see Martin as a walk in and he was so kind and patient. He took his time to make sure everything was placed perfectly and explained the pros/cons of each placement I was considering. He’s super personable so I felt really at ease, like I was catching up with a friend rather than getting a needle put in me (I’m a pansy so this helped a lot!).Everything turned out exactly how I hoped it would and I can’t wait to come back for my second piece. These guys are so good!! A few years ago Steve cleaned up and added to an older tattoo and just Tuesday Martin finished a portrait of my 16 year old Yorkie who recently passed! I can’t say enough about Martin’s work and attention to detail, not to mention a heck of a nice guy! It turned out even better than I could have ever imagined. I got my ears pierced here a week ago. It’s a really great place. It feels very clean and the people there are very friendly. Chris was the one who did my piercings and he did a very good job at making me feel comfortable. He could see that I was anxious and made me feel better. I came back in today because the backing to one of the piercings came off while I was sleeping and I couldn’t get it back on. I called and he told me I could come in immediately so that he could help. Chris was very nice and didn’t make me feel bad about it or like I messed up. He noticed that my ears were a little swollen so he actually replaced my piercings with ones with longer posts. He didn’t charge me anything for this second visit, not even for the replacements. I definitely plan on returning for any piercings or tattoos in the future and I will recommend the place to my friends.

Went into the shop on the 16th for a tattoo. Definitely recommend them all, 100%.classic tattoo shop feel and vibe, as well as they were very clean. all the staff were very kind and willing to kindly take me and my boyfriend as a walk in.Martin did above and beyond! he worked with me and really took time to talk with what would flow on my arm. I wanted to just get a small simple bat, but I swear he gave the bat so much character! i was so so happy! i also wanted a web on my elbow. he was VERY patient with me. he drew the web on me himself and I was very impressed!! Annette is amazing. She quadruple checked that the tattoo was straight and to my liking. Everyone there is amazing and helpful. I will be coming back for my coverup/ sleeve completion for sure. Prices are the best around here, no other shop can compete.The place is clean, and has good music playing. Everyone is kind, and very personable. Got a tattoo on my 21st birthday in June! Lester did my most recent one. Chris did a tattoo forme last year! I cannot stress enough how great these artist are. I have 5 tattoos and all 5 have came from this shop! Love the vibe, cleanliness and the artists. Every Artist will work with you to get the desired tattoo that you are looking for. Will definitely be coming back to get another tattoo in the near future!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My husband and I got couples tattoos here. We were walk in customers and Annette and her staff accommodated us and couldn’t have been more professional and friendly. Our tattoos look amazing! We live 4 hours from Chesapeake, but we will be returning here for all of our tattoos in the future!

Got my first tattoo done here by Dennis. And then my other 3 and plan on coming back to Dennis within a few weeks for my newest addition. If you are looking for someone talented, professional, super sterile and if youre looking for the best quality tattoo and fast then hes your guy. The other guy (Ryan) that was in there is super cool, professional and friendly also. However there was a guy in plaid that was a little rude stationed on the right side of the shop in the back all the way in the corner. Other than that everyone is cool and awesome. Would highly recommend Dennis.

Found out about these guys through Martin, who had already done some work on me. So I went in to get the rest of my arm worked on and the shop was very clean and organized. The walls are covered with art for you to use as inspiration and its in a quiet location as well so that you can feel comfortable going in. I definitely recommend that you check these guys out.

This place is amazing!! They take walk-ins, everyone is super kind and professional, theyll answer any questions you have and make sure you have all the info youll need. The artists are very talented, Anette did a piece on my arm so perfect to my reference picture I couldnt get over it. All art is guarenteed and they offer touch-ups of their work if needed at no charge. 1000% recommend.

My wife and I went in to get a tattoo and ended leaving with 2 each. Dennis was our artist and he was extremely friendly and gave us a great price for what we wanted. He was very patient with us when having to adjust the size and location of our tattoos. I would highly recommend this place and specifically Dennis if in need of a tattoo. They dont do piercing which is fine cause then they can concentrate on what they do best.

Best tattoo shop Ive been to over 12 years. All of the artists are capable and fair. 11/10 will always recommend to friends here.

The website stated that they accept walk ins.The young man who was working the front desk, it a bad representation of this business.I went in there for a cover up on a partial tattoo, he tells me that I am unable to get it.It’s bad for business when you have workers representing your company that is unable to see the same vision that the customer see.I will never go here, nor will I recommend the business. (You never know who one encounter, one should always treat others with respect.)And he laughed at me said that I can just wear pants to cover up my tattoo, the ones that I was trying to get it covered up.

Ive been getting tattoos for years and flopped from one shop to the next without really settling on one place. I decided to walk in to Electro Magnetic for a quote and, true to the reviews, was immediately drawn to how clean and professional it looked. As opposed to a few other places Ive been, the staff was immediately willing to help and didnt ignore me to finish their conversations first. Lester gave me a very reasonable quote and took me in right then with hardly any wait (other than the stenciling). Less than an hour later, I had my new tattoo, and Lester even knocked a bit off my original quote. I cant say enough nice things about this place. I highly recommend it!

Their respect and professionalism is poor. My friends son walked in and did not receive the proper respect. The owner wrote very rude text messages to a young man who is getting his first tattoo because he decided he wanted to go somewhere else to receive his tattoo. They will not be receiving my business or referrals.

Top notch tattooers, capable of executing any style of tattoo you could possibly want. Extremely friendly, and inviting environment. Lots of great stuff on the walls (you can NEVER go wrong, picking something from the walls,) but custom tattoos are also available. Super clean, and I will visit every time I am in the area.

As usual, I had an impulse feeling to finish working on my half sleeve. They were able to get me and and give me exactly what I was looking for, not to mention for a great price! They were clean and well mannered. My only flaw is the inflated price. Having multiple tattoos and having an idea of the costs I was very surprised at what they asked me and my family member. Looking for more tattoos as are friends and family but will more than likely somewhere not inflated. However, this notion does not effect the quality of the work.

Got my first tattoo here and the shop and artist are amazing. Very talented and a great vibe. The artist take there time and work with you to make sure you get what you are looking for and to make the experience great.

Total waste of time. High price for a simple tattoo and way too many customers and not enough folks to do tattoos on a Sunday. Not sure how to reply to response. Noone was trying to get a cheap tattoo... for a simple heart with a flat line and date of death. The quote started at:$200 and jumped to $450.

Went in on Friday the thirteenth to get a tattoo with a friend and create some memories. Lester killed my rib cage heart tattoo! Solid line work and awesome shading. I can’t wait to come back for another piece!

The team at Electro Magnetic are top notch! Steve took a complicated Celtic design from a low resolution image and turned it into an intricate and beautiful tattoo. 10/10 would definitely come back!!

This was a great experience for my daughters and I the staff was super cool and The place was very clean.This was one of my daughters first tattoos and Im so happy we went here because they made us feel welcome and took their time with her and made her feel comfortable . Staff is really informative and helped me pick out the perfect tattoo. Will did an amazing job on my wedding ring tattoo. I will be back to get more ink from them very soon!

The staff was super helpful picking what we wanted, and didnt discriminate against first timers, nor dumb down for experienced human canvases.

This shop has been seen on TV, so its quite busy... they do walk ins, however I would advise you to show up before they open, so you dont have to wait a long period of time... I think that their artwork speaks for itself, even though I wasnt patient enough to wait for my tattoo walk in.

My fiance and I came in, I got tattooed by Chris and she got tattooed by Kevin. They both did a great job, were very professional and friendly. Cant wait to come back!

Took my daughter there to get matching tattoos. Thought the people were short and rude. They were super busy and I understand that, but when you work for the public you have to always put on that sunshine attitude.

They did a wonderful job with the tattoo. They are very talented. The only problem was that it took a very long time because there were printer issues, but other than that it was a very good experience.

The staff was very rude and they skipped my tattooing for two girls that came in after me. The staff is extremely unprofessional. Told my mother she had to leave while she was waiting in the waiting room with me but the woman’s friend could stay while she was getting her tattoo.

Great shop. Very professional and a reasonable price for the work that they do. I went in with an Idea of getting a Browns tattoo and they went above and beyond and made it look more badass then I ever thought.

Very friendly and down-to-earth people and they do an awesome job my kids came home to visit and after they seen my daughters tattoo two of them went to go get their own great work

The whole entire time I was in the shop the artist seemed to not be interested in my business. The artist stayed on the computer the whole time I asked questions and explained what I wanted done. I can count on one hand how many times the artist made eye contact with me; the artist was not helpful at all and was very standoffish. Lets just say after my five minute visit I left the shop very pissed and uninterested in their service.
