Incredibly talented artists, such a cool vibe. Everyone was kind, respectful, and friendly, and all the work they do is remarkable.I was lucky enough to get a custom piece from Austin and it was so amazingly detailed that everyone who sees it is blown away by his skill.

Austin, his fiancée Brittany and other artists are so nice. Everybody’s works are awesome 👏 you can get what you want 💯

I loved my experience here. Everyone in the room was so friendly and the environment was very welcoming and quite relaxing! Austin did a fantastic job!!! I think my tattoo took about 2 hours. Minimal pain and experiencing a very fast recovery too. I would definitely come back!

I had an appointment with Liv. She helped me rework a tattoo I already had. It was an awesome experience! The shop is really nice! Super clean and good energy. There is a parking lot right next to it ($5/hr) which is really convenient and lots of street parking. Liv and I went over many different designs to narrow down exactly what I wanted. She is an amazing artist and I completely love the tattoo she created for me!! It was the best experience Ive ever had getting a tattoo and I highly recommend this shop!

Erika did an amazing job!! She is very personable and took time to design and do the perfect tattoo. Clean, spacey building with a very chill vibe. 100% would recommend!

Recently got my first tattoo done at black fern by CJ. it was such a positive experience! I could not be happier with my tattoo. He made me feel extremely comfortable through the entire process, and made sure I loved the size and placement of my design. The facility itself is extremely modern and clean. I could not recommend them more!!!

I got an upper arm tattoo this week at Black Fern Tattoo. It is perfect! Austin took the inspiration images that I shared with him in advance and then worked with me during the visit to design an amazing piece. I really appreciated how he took some basic ideas that were special to me and created something so beautiful! He is an amazing artist. The studio was also incredible -- a great space from the moment you walk in. Everyone was very friendly and made the session feel very comfortable.On top of all that, we got to buy a piece of Brittanys art on the way out. It is lovely!

Brittany is AMAZING! I love the needle that she uses and as a company! The shop was very clean and sanitized! She took her time and fit me right in within 24 hrs. Brittany books up pretty quick so I was lucky. I will be going back for my next tattoo…and I’m booking it with Brittany! 😊 I absolutely recommend Black Fern to anyone who is especially looking for a first/or new tattoo! Just an FYI…I barely felt that needle.

Cody did an amazing job. His line work was very fine and precise, just how I wanted it. He showed me multiple different designs and let me pick out which one I liked best. Overall had a great experience & will definently come back!

I just had Austin put a sizable piece on my arm and shoulder. I have smaller tattoos from other artists, and Austin is in a completely different league. His art is incredible, so I felt comfortable giving him a lot of creative control over the design. When I booked with him, I gave him a general direction of what I wanted and made a few suggestions and told him to draw what inspired him. What he came up with is better than anything I could have possibly imagined. My new tattoo is the most beautiful tattoo I have seen on anyone, anywhere, and it feels like it was always meant to be on my body. I think this is because Austin has such a good sense for bodies, proportion, and placement. He drew much of the design directly on my skin, improvising in accordance with my specific anatomy, and added articulate details and embellishments as he went.Moreover, he was friendly, professional, and kind. I spent over five hours in his shop and the other artists that were working in the space were also a joy to be around--dont sleep on them! Hiren is excellent at fine-grained tattoos, and check out Brittanys ultra-delicate, creatively placed pieces.I cant wait to book again!

My first tattoo experience. James Blum was my artist and they were so patient and helpful and wonderfully kind throughout the whole process. The building itself is super clean and organized. I would recommend any of the artists here, but James especially for killer original artwork or fine-line text!

I followed Bobby from his previous shop to here. I was blown away by the beauty of the shop but how welcoming each and every artist was. Every artist in the shop stopped by for a chat. I am always incredibly happy with Bobby’s work and will continue to go back to him and this shop. The owner, Austin, is also a great guy and is putting in work for the local community. If I could give more stars I would!

Super disappointed. Made an appointment for January with Austin and he cancelled on me literally the night before at 1:33am. I had to drive 3hours to Nashville cos thats where he was and made reservations to stay at for this appointment. No apologies, no follow ups
