Eighteen Tattoo

I’ve been going to Carrie for ten years. She’s done both of my arm sleeves, and is working on my leg. I drive 3 hours for her work. She’s always friendly, on time, and will build with your ideas. Definitely one of the most creative artists out there. The shop is very clean, and everyone is friendly.

Carrie took a very hoffic time in my life and made it into something very meaningful and special to continue to remember my childhood best friend who had suddenly passed away. She was able to help me incorporate different ideas that held meaning and value of which my best friend loved blue birds and her birth month was November. I didn’t especially love the flower for November, but some how Carrie managed to shape and create it into something that I loved, fits perfectly, and is beautiful. Carrie was very caring and worked well with me during a difficult time. I knew what I wanted and she was able to make it come to light and space it perfectly on me. I appreciate her being so caring, passionate, and sensitive to my needs. She always provides safe and effective education for tattoos for anyone that is newer to getting tattoos. If you have a question, she is open and honest which I highly respect and is and very knowledgeable in all aspects. I feel safe with her putting something forever on me and respect that she works together with me while providing her professional advice. My family and friends have used her and always happy with their results. I look forward to my next tattoos this fall and will post a pic then! :)

Can’t say enough good things about the studio and my artist Carrie!! The studio has such an amazing, positive vibe. And Carrie has been tattoo myself and my family for years. I even trusted her to do 2 of my 3 kids as soon as they turned 18!! That’s trust. She is beyond talented and holds a special place in my heart. She takes all our ideas and puts her artistic twist on each piece to make them unique. The compliments I receive daily confirms what a gift she has. The color holds up like it was done yesterday, not 15 yrs ago!! Highly recommend 🖤

Had a conversation with artist Carrie via email on potentially getting a tattoo, Ive never been in this shop before, just saw it on Instagram. She does beautiful work. Asked some questions she apparently thought was stupid on my quest to get a quote. Long story short, she insulted my inspiration drawing, told me it was from 7th grade and was condescending like Im a moron because of the questions I was asking. Ugly personality, no amount of talent is worth dealing with that. Would not recommend to anyone.

I have had the privilege of being able to see Carrie for a number of appointments to work on a full sleeve and several other pieces. My wife also has seen her many times and has several pieces from her. Always happy with the work we have done and highly recommend if looking for a great artist.

We had an absolute great experience with our artist James & the Eighteen Tattoo crew. A beautiful studio that definitely provides a safe space for anyone. James did an incredible job making us feel welcomed & well taken care of for our 1st tattoo. Would highly recommend checking out James & the rest of the artists at this studio!

I have gotten a great portrait of my cat Brian by James and I also got several old tattoos touched up by him! I had an excellent experience and I can’t wait to go back in a month for a huge back piece. Everyone is so kind and accepting of queer people which is just the kind of space I like to be in :)

Brendan does fantastic work! Hes almost finished with my full sleeve and also did my wifes cover up tattoo. His shop is rand new, has a good atmosphere and is extremely clean.

Brendan is not only a gifted artist (his work speaks for itself), but a true professional. After years of searching for the right artist to do a multi session back piece thats part cover up, I was lucky to pass by his place for a consult. Brendan has worked with me to design and execute a piece I absolutely love. He combined his artistic style with my vision for the piece flawlessly and was always responsive to feedback.His shop is immaculate, hes communicative, extremely organized, transparent/honest, and a genuinely nice person. To me, all of that really counts when youre trusting someone to do a major piece of art on your body, and especially when youre cranky after many uncomfortable hours in a tattoo chair.After 2 out of 3 sessions, I can tell this piece will be exactly what I was looking for. Will update review with pictures when its complete.
