Honestly the best tattoo experience(s) Ive ever had. No one else is allowed to put art on my body anymore who isnt Leah Marie. The vibes of the entire place and the staff are IMMACULATE and I will honestly follow them to the ends of the earth. Leah is contractually not allowed to die before me so I can keep getting tattooed by her [for legal reasons this is a ✨joke]. You heard it here first, Google. But seriously, check their socials for proof their artists are amazing, and listen to ME when I say as PEOPLE---these are the folks you can trust with permanent body art. Super queer and trans friendly as well. Ive always felt very safe here.

My most recent piece by Kayla has become my new fav, plus another new one on my leg. Kayla is an awesome artist i’ve been with her 2 years and i truly couldn’t want more from an artist. She is super accommodating, patient, and overall just an amazing human. You should definitely book with her soon💕

Id gotten work done from Leah before, but a few years back I bit the bullet and let her work on something of a personal project - one that I gave her pretty much all control over, but I just knew the subject. She FLOORED me with the breath-taking design, and she worked carefully with the fit on my body. Leah is cordial, respectful, and very professional. It is clear that she treats every piece with the utmost care, but she also treats her clients with dignity and respect. Shes also hilarious and generally really easy to feel safe with. I havent gotten work done with anyone else in the shop but I have observed them all sharing these same mentalities - and this puts Higher Love above and beyond your typical shop. I cannot recommend them enough. 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

I will never stop expressing my love and respect for this studio and all the artists in it. As a fellow artist I hold them in such high regard and it’s for good reason. I’ve had multiple tattoos but I think the most notable is my back piece from Leah. She is so talented, professional, and accommodating during your tattoo appointments. They are a safe space for all which is so important to me. I adore this shop and I highly suggest checking them out!

I absolutely love going to this shop. My artist is Kayla and I had seen her before she moved into this shop, but compared to the other one, Higher Love takes the cake. The artists are always so supportive of one another and you can tell there is just such a positive energy radiating as soon as you walk through the door. The shop is very clean and welcoming. Kayla has also done all of my tattoos and her work is absolutely fabulous. I constantly get complimented on my tattoos and always recommend her to anybody looking to get tattooed. The prices are also really fair, I don’t think that there is any sort of overcharging when it comes to your tats. I 100% recommend going here, it’s a great experience!

Wonderful studio full of talented artists. Clean, friendly, comfortable - every one goes out of their way to make you feel at home. I’ve gotten multiple pieces done by Mahagany and I keep going back for more because she is amazingly talented and her work is fun, colorful, and beautiful, and a piece by Katie that I love as well - beautiful work. Looking forward to adding more of their art to my collection soon. Highly recommend this shop!

I have been going to see the artists at Higher Love Tattoo since about 2017, when I first moved to Cincinnati. I first visited simply based on good reviews and things I’d heard, and I’m so glad I did because as far as I’m concerned, this is one of the only tattoo shops I’ll ever go to. Outstanding people - kind, inclusive, respectful and incredibly talented. A safe place. I’ve been tattooed often by Moses and Leah, and have also been tattooed by Mahagany, Robb and multiple other artists that work or have worked there! 100/10. Love this place.

I was tattooed by Kayla, and it was awesome! I picked out a couple of flash designs and the whole process went super smoothly. Kayla was super welcoming and friendly and checked in on me throughout the appointment to make sure I was comfortable! I’m in love with my new tattoos and will definitely be coming back

This is one of the best shops Ive ever been to. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. But most importantly, their work is INCREDIBLE. All around. All of the artists there are extremely talented. Leah is the artist I go to and I cant brag on her work enough. 11/10!!!

Higher love tattoo exceeds my expectations every visit! I have had the pleasure of being tattooed by multiple artist at higher love and each time I am blown away by the quality of the work and the quality of the people who work there. Everyone there is extremely welcoming, professional, and talented. I could not recommend a better shop to get tatted at.

I have been tattooed by both Leah and Mahagany at Higher Love! Both did an excellent job on my tattoos and theyve healed well. I love all their flash and custom work too, and everyone is so nice there!

I’ve gotten three tattoos over the years from Leah. My first one from her was a portrait of Jayne Mansfield on my thigh. My second was a cactus and tortoise on my other thigh. And my third (and still in progress) is a Ghost B.C. inspired sleeve 🥰 Leah is SO talented and the absolute sweetest tattoo artist I’ve ever had (and HILARIOUS). Which is probably why I keep coming back 🤣 She’s eager to hear ideas, always giving the best feedback of what could or couldn’t work, and her original art? AMAZING. 10/10. I couldnt recommend Leah ENOUGH.

Marqui created a relaxed and comfortable environment for my tattoo experience. I am so excited about the tattoo design and Marquis execution of it! The end result is exactly what I hoped for and its still healing normally two weeks later.

My friends and I walked-in and got tattoos done by Casey. He was super kind and willing to make sure everything was perfect. Very clean and well done!

Leah is AMAZING! I felt super comfortable both sessions, and the healing process was quick! I love the vibe there, and how relaxed they make you feel. Will definitely be back for another piece!

Ive been coming here for several years now. Ive gotten tattoos from multiple artists, including the owners. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this is my favorite shop in Cincinnati. Leah & Moses do an outstanding job of creating a space thats safe, welcoming, and fun. They also do a great job of having artists with an array of styles as well as talented guest artists. I wish I could give this place 5 more stars.

Leah did a forearm tattoo for me, followed by a full sleeve to tie it all in. Full color and detail. I sent her 4 different pictures of what I wanted with this style, this color, this realism, this look, etc. She PERFECTED it. Couldnt have asked for a better experience and couldnt have asked for someone to make it work out so well. The stencil itself didnt even need resized or cut down/added to, as it laid perfectly on my entire arm. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend her work. Shes amazing with color and realism, and can even rock out on some killer b&w too!

Can I just say that you cant go wrong no matter what artist you choose here. Theyre all good people, they care about their clients, are all very friendly and very professional. They love what they do and they have created a space with great vibes. I can personally recommend Leah and Katie here. They are FANTASTIC artists and really know what theyre doing! The vibe of this shop is great, everyone is super sweet and fun to talk to. I think if you went in to see anyone they would do a fantastic job. They love what they do and genuinely care about the art theyre putting on your body. With that being said...Leah is amazing! I got my very first tattoo from her, and it was a big thigh piece. I honestly did not know what to expect, and she was incredibly accommodating and made it as comfortable as she could. Whether youre a veteran in being tattooed, or brand new to this I would 100% recommend her.

I’ve gotten almost all of my tattoos done at Higher Love by Leah and I cannot praise her work enough!!! She is an amazing artist and masterfully detailed in the pieces she makes. All of the artists there have always been very friendly and welcoming whenever I come to the shop, and the shop as a whole is super clean and cozy. The whole team is made up of professionals who are passionate about tattooing with their unique styles. Higher Love is honestly the best place in Cinci. Go there!!!!

This place has some amazing tattooers. I cant say enough about how much I love this place. Marqui does my tattoos and she is amazing. But honestly, you cant go wrong with any of the artists here. They all have their own style, so there is plenty of diversity to choose from when it comes to great tattoo work! Highly highly recommend.

Josh was great! This was my first tattoo and he talked me through it and told me what he was going to be doing. The shop was super clean, which was great to see! Im just now getting around to a review but back in July, Mahagany designed and tattooed a cute medium sized piece on my forearm dedicated to my mom. The establishment itself is clean and nicely set up. The entire staff is friendly and just notably vibes well with each other. I had other tattooists coming by to check on Mahaganys progress every now and then, giving positive affirmation that the tattoo is going well. I thought that was cool. Will definitely come back and recommend others.

So far every encounter Ive had with the staff has been wonderful. Incredibly clean facility, nice location, and they are all just generally wonderful people. As for the actual tattoo work, even better. Leah is amazing and probably has a deal with some long forgotten diety to be as good as she is.

I highly recommend Get Up Tattoo Society! I got my first tattoo from the owner and amazing artist Josh! The detail, quality, dedication, time and effort, and very adamant to the tattoo overall is unreal. Very clean and safe materials used, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. No matter how big or small the piece is I promise you, you wont be disappointed with the result! From personal experience they are always up for something new or challenging. I recommend all my friends to Get Up and I dont plan on going anywhere else in the future for future tattoos of mine!

Get Up Tattoo Society is a quality shop. I go to the owner and his work is awesome, he is a true artist. He is meticulous about the quality of his pieces. I did a lot of research before choosing him to work on my sleeve. It looks amazing, and Im always looking forward to seeing how beautiful the next section is going to look. Ive seen artwork from the other artist that works there, and it also looks high quality. This is such a great place, and everyone involved is so nice and I think thats hard to find at a lot of shops these days. No egos, no judgement. Just beautiful artwork.

After surgery, I wanted to get a tattoo to not only cover my scars, but to finish off the work I had put into making my body look the way I had always wanted it to look! I sent Josh an image of something that I liked, and through conversations, he was able to free hand a beautiful piece that fits my style and personality exactly. After 6 sessions and about 20 hours of work, I finally have succeeded in a long time goal! I could not have asked for a higher quality, more professional tattoo experience than what I received through Josh! His work is exceptional, and I will forever be devoted to him!

I got my first tattoo (black and white half sleeve) done at GUTS by Josh Griswald. Hes an extremely experienced, knowledgeable and easy going tattoo artist to work with. Weve completed the first two sessions of my detailed piece and I am super excited with how its coming along. Cant wait to get in to the shop to complete and will definitely be recommending the shop to my friends.

What an amazing place! Got tattooed by Kaitlin staggs today and not only is my tattoo beautiful and everything I dreamed of and more but they were so helpful and helped me nail down what I wanted and made it look beautiful! Shop is super clean, both artist are amazing at listening to what the client wants and can talk new clients through getting their first tattoo. They dont try to push an idea on you but rather help develop your idea to make it a custom piece.

Oh my god i got tattooed here and oh my god my tattoo is perfect the lines are perfectly straight (i got a triforce) and the staff are reallly nice Bernard tattooed me and he is extremely friendly if you need a break he will stop for a little bit decently comming back here!
