Death Do Us Part Tattoo

I have been a loyal customer of Death Do Us Part for over a year and a half now. I’ve had work done by Big Mike (a thigh piece) and almost a full sleeve by Fergus. The shop is always clean and super hygienic. All of the artists are incredibly talented and good about communicating if there are any issues or delays or just in general. I’ve always had the option to pay for my tattoos through Venmo or cashapp as I don’t usually have cash on hand which is super handy. I will always recommend this shop and any of the artists to anyone on social media or in person that ask for good places to get tattooed. I’ve had several of my friends and family members be tattooed there as well and they’ve all been happy with the work!

I had a great experience at this shop. The people are friendly; the shop is clean and welcoming. They respond to messages fast, and they have a flexible schedule. I was able to get an appointment quickly. I had a new tattoo and a rework done by Mike. He took the time to listen to my ideas and truly understand what I wanted. His work is impressive, and I love my tattoos. He had a light hand during the tattoo, which is nice considering the pain involved. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Ive definitely found my tattoo artist!

Mike has been tattooing me since 2020. I drive 7 hours (14 round trip) and don’t regret a second of it. The shop is clean, folks are friendly, wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

Got my second tattoo done here and haven’t left since. Big Mike is the best there is - I get all of my American traditional work done with him. Amazing work from all the artists at the shop, GREAT prices. Always feels like home. I tell everyone I know to come here and for good reason. There’s hundreds of shops to choose from in Clarksville, Death Do Us Part is the way to go.

I’ve been going to Big Mike at death do us part for many years now and have always been happy with my tattoos. He does great color / traditional work and as well as neo traditional, definitely one of the best in our area.I’ve always felt welcomed at the shop and shop has friendly employees. This is a great shop. I have been tattooed here several times, so has my husband and several friends. I can be an awkward person and can get uncomfortable around some people, but here I have always been made to feel comfortable. The shop is clean and the tattoos are high quality. One of mine recently won an award at the Clarksville Tattoo Convention (done by Big Mike)!

Big Mike is my artist, and he does amazing. I have throw ideas out for him to create, and each time he has exceeded my expectations! Everyone in the shop is very personable and always a good time. Very clean shop as well!

Ive had all 3 of my tattoos done at Death Do Us Part and every time it has been a 5 star experience! The staff is super friendly, and incredibly talented! Big Mike specially has done two of mine and he is absolutely incredible! His works is fantastic and I couldnt recommend him to people enough!

My mom goes here all the time. She is good friends with the owners. And every on of her tattoos were done here. They are absolutely beautiful. Her tattoos are really good. They put in a lot of effort. There daughter is absolutely amazing! She sometimes sells some fake tattoos too! Absolutely recommend. This place is amazing!

Hands down best shop in Clarksville! Have been tattooed by Big Mike multiple times and only person I will let design or tattoo me. I go in there with an idea and he makes it come to life.

Artists are extremely talented. Very fairly priced. Usually pretty busy, but that’s any great shop around a military base.

Just recently got tattooed by Cory and he was amazing! He took my pretty basic idea of wanting Jinx and Vi from Arcane and turned it into something so beautiful. Very light handed and walked me through all the details he was doing for my tattoo. Highly recommend, especially if you are an anime lover! Planning on getting more tattoos from him for sure

Good shop, interaction with certain artists is not the greatest. I was told touch ups were free up to a month out, and requested one a week after leaving. Was informed of unavailability throughout end of June for touchups. Reached back out towards the end of June to check again on availability and since then have just been ignored.

I’ve been coming to this shop for years now & have 0 complaints!The staff is always friendly & timely. The shop itself is super cozy.I recommend them to everyone I know looking for a reputable shop here in town. I always look forward to my next appointment!

Been going here for a little over a year with my wife! I had a coverup on my lower arm by Fergus and it is amazing !! My wife gotten three done by Justin and now one done by the new apprentice Cory!!

Josh D (@derossett.tattoos) did a sleeve on my right arm. I love it! Great atmosphere also. Down to earth artists that provided laughs nearly every session. Will be back again.

Stopped in with my daughter visiting from out of town, Aldon got us right in to get father daughter matching tattoos on Fathers day. He created great tattoos with excellent line work that will always be a great memorable experience for us both! Thank you Aldon!

Absolutely love this place, staff is extremely friendly and professional. They take their time with you, have great quality work, and don’t over charge you, which is extremely hard to find all these qualities in one shop around Fort Campbell/Nashville area. Big Mike has done, some very large pieces, the line work is very clean, and the coloring always comes out amazing!

Loved getting a chance to work with Mike at a Pop-Up Girls night event. He wasnt heavy-handed, he was polite, and the tattoo was flawless!! Will definitely go back to see him soon!

Everything from the time I first walked in till the time my Tattoo was finished was awesome. Youre greeted at the door you tell them what you want done and they point you in the direction of the artist that can give you what you want done. Josh did an outstanding job for me. Definitely will be going back there for more ink.

Justin is my artist of choice when it comes to manga panels! He is always kind, professional, and on time for appointments. I highly recommend Justin if you are looking for anything manga/anime related!

Been tattooed by Justin and Josh here and they are both amazing!! Never had any complaints and they both catch the vision you have so well.

I went in wanting “just a bunch of geometric designs on my fingers” and told Matt he had free reign to do what he wanted. He didn’t disappoint whatsoever. He drew a very basic outline in pen (or something like it) and went to town, giving me results that were better than I was hoping for. On top of that, I’m tattooed all over and his hand was very, very light compared to anyone I’ve been tattooed by. But not so light the designs won’t settle into my skin. I was told the fingers were the worst and I firmly believe Matt’s light hands made it so it was one of the more tolerable tattoos I’ve ever had. The worst part was cleaning my hands afterwards. Im excited to plan more artwork with him!Edit: UPDATE after I’m halfway healed, the lines are settling and I can’t believe how straight they are from basically him eyeballing it. Especially considering how much he bent my fingers during the process at every angle he could to make sure it was the least painful for me. Definitely takes a billion things into account when tattooing!

Mike covered the most terrible tattoo I have and it looks so good now, such a big confidence boost.

Great place! Friendly staff. My Fiancé and I are new to town, you would have thought that we would have known every member of the staff for years. Great work, great experience. Cleanliness standards are bar none. Ill never go anywhere else. Our Artist Corey was great. You can walk into this place and understand that the feel of the culture is Ginuwine. This is a place of BUSINESS. All aspects. Prices are beyond fair. This is the type of establishment that wont tolerate disrespect of any kind : employee to employee, employee to customer, or customer to customer.

I got my first tattoo and it was an anime tattoo by Justin Taylor he did such a great job I told him what I wanted and he added his vision to it and came up with something dope. Highly recommend Justin 👌🏾

Big Mike did a FANTASTIC job on my throat tattoo. I’m new in town and originally made an appointment with a different shop, they ended up not listening to my idea and had a pretty horrible drawing of what I wanted, and were rude to me on top of that. Then I stumbled upon Big Mikes Instagram and was super impressed. I made an appointment at Death Do Us Part and I’m so glad I did. Big Mike gave me exactly what I wanted at a good price. The tattoo took a lot longer than expected and he stayed late with me with a great attitude. Death Do Us Part has such a good atmosphere too. Friendly, Clean, Professional, and extremely talented. I’ll be coming here from now on.

I’ve had a couple tattoos done here by Cory and they’ve been great! I’ve seen some of Josh’s work and have been impressed with the skills. Definitely gonna be my spot for tattoos.

This tattoo shop deserves more than 5 stars. When they say they are family owned & operated, they mean it & show it. Very friendly/down to earth staff that made us feel like home. Great customer service and the food they ordered was bomb! Today was their summer flash tattoo event & it was just a damn good time. Smells great with awesome decor. I got an arm piece done with a traditional panther & dagger. Big Mike was my artist & hes the coolest. There was 4 of us in our group and all of our first time at this shop and all we keep talking about is how we cant wait to go back!

This place and the artists are amazing! Im happy to say that not only do my husband and I call the owner, Big Mike, our tattoo artist but also our friend. He cares deeply for his work and his clients! We have since moved out of state but will still only get our tattoos done by Big Mike, even if that means flying in to see him!! I cannot say enough about Mike. Ive had bad experiences with tattoo artists before and was nervous to try a new artist when i moved here. Mike was super patient with me, designed my tattoo exactly how I wanted it and did an amazing job adding to my ink collection. My husband and I followed Big Mike to his own shop because we absolutely loved his work! The environment is ALWAYS very friendly, welcoming and clean!! They do amazing work with a variety of different styles! Even though we’re moving, we will be traveling back and forth just for this shop!

Best tattoo artist Ive ever met. Big Mike is genuine and cares so much about his work and the ink he puts on you if you are looking anywhere in TN for a tattoo you cannot pass up an opportunity at this shop. Through my first tattoo by Big Mike I knew it would be a lasting artist/patron relationship. I recently moved and still will fly back and forth to get tattoos done here. There is no one that can compare.

As a soldier living in the area I was always told never to trust any tattoo shop near base. However Death Do Us Part is absolutely the exception. I have gotten several tattoos from this shop and plan to get several more. The staff is very kind and the artist offer reasonable prices. I look forward to doing future business with them.

Me & my wife have gotten 9 tattoos in total from both Jonathan & Josh & THEY ARE THE BEST!!! Seriously! Although I have never been inked by Big Mike he is so respectful & funny & such awesome person as well! THIS IS OUR TATTOO HOME! We went to two other artists before finding them & We will never go to anyone else!! They are always respectful & the prices are great but the work is always perfect! Both Chado & Josh have a unique style, & both are sooo talented! Also my wife has gotten some tattoos in some more private places & not ONCE has anyone ever made any sexual or disrespectful comments like other artists we have dealt with. & that made a big difference compared to what we have dealt with. Not to mention when I get tattooed it is such a pleasant experience. The artists always make you laugh & ask if you at comfortable & make you feel at home!! & the one time my wife felt sick, Chado was so understanding & let her get up & take a breather, before allowing her to ultimately reschedule. He never got mad, once! & Josh is such a nice guy, he always lets us take our time & is never rushing us. & that matters!! I have dealt with some pushy, disrespectful artists lol. So I would give this shop 100 stars if I could! It is A+++++!

This place is amazing, clean, respectful, talented, and honest people! I inquired about a cover up with Big Mike prior to visiting multiple shops in Clarksville area with some shops not giving me the time of day referring me to lazer removal before inking me. After nearly 5 hours of looking through art work and listening to artist who wouldn’t help I returned to Death do us Part and asked Big Mike to help me out. Went with a friend to get some matching tattoos had Justin as our artist did a fantastic job was super chatty made us both feel really comfortable and all the other artists were also really friendly as well as Jocelyn who was behind the counter. Was very clean and smelt as a tattoo shop should XD

So I was looking to get a new tattoo and I heard some good and bad things about this place so I decided to check it out for myself. So I went to the Clarksville location and first thing I notice when I walked in is how disgusting and dirty it was. I honestly was not getting a good vibe at all at this point. The owner walked up to me and introduced himself as Big Mike and the first thing he said to me was so Cracker can I help you with anything? I instantly felt uncomfortable. He chuckled and laughed and I instantly walked out. Ive never experienced racism before and I honestly didnt believe it still existed but I guess he believes his comments were acceptable. I guess theres a reason why love blood ink wins best tattoo shop 4 years in a row. I hope this helps anyone new to the area. And it smelt like cat urine and refried beans.

This is a photo of my husbands black and grey tattoo that needed some shading and color done to bring it to life. This is what we left with from Big Mike. Some red, yellow and brown thrown in. He put a bandana on the pin ups chest and made it look like a red blotch that is confusing on the eye. The shading in the guns are not matching, one is darker than the other. We had a 4 hour time slot booked out, he took a few breaks to help assemble a tattoo chair, and ran outside to check out a dog that he is going to potentially breed with his dog (should have been done on his own time) the vibe all together was off. We stopped at Love Blood Ink to speak with someone else about fixing up my husbands stomach and doing a cover up on myself. They were more than accommodating and even offered to eat up our $100 dollar deposit that we put down at death do us part. I dont recommend going to DDUP, Going to Big Mike ended up being a Big MIKEstake. Stay tuned for an update on the tattoo from Dizzy at Love Blood Ink...

I cant even put into words how happy I am with my tattoo, and my experience with Death do us part love the atmosphere. Super clean! Cant wait to book my next tattoo with them.

I have nothing bad to say about this shop or the artists. They were all professional and absolutely helpful. Fergus took my idea for a memorial piece and turned it into something beautiful. As long as I live here I will be going back to get all of my work done by him.
