Hand down the best shop I’ve ever been in! All of the staff are friendly, approachable, truly care about their clients! I am ready to commit to a sleeve! Marita was very informative easy to talk too and amazing work!

I’m so glad Roly was able to see me as a walk in last week! It was a great experience. Tattoo looks great, clean lines and everything was smooth. Highly recommend!

I made the trip from Nashville to this shop because they had a great flash and I had a friend have good work from one of the ladies in the shop from the tattoo convention. I unfortunately did not get the best of their work which is upsetting because this artist seems to do incredible work! My frustration has been with communication in trying to get a touch up. I reached out on 3 separate occasions and 2 times Amy just stopped replying back and the 3rd time I was not acknowledged at all. I now have no willingness to make the trip to Clarksville and I will just have to see if my local shop feels comfortable touching this work up.

Alright so, im not saying this is a bad place to get a tattoo, honestly could have been my individual experience or based on artist experience. Customer service is great until your tattoo has problems. These pictures progress from about day after the shop, 7 days, to about fully healed. I got a tattoo with my wife before going back to where im stationed in germany far from her and home; over the short amount of time what at first looked amazing started fading, some areas looking like they werent tatted in the first place. My wife had the same result so she went in and talked to the shop. The manager/owner (not sure) said that this was due to the tattoos being in difficult or commonly used/weared locations rather than admitting this might have just been bad tattoos. Things to note my wife was off for 3 days post tattoo (forearm) i was off 5 (ankle) and we both followed wrap and aquaphor procedures. The shop refused to take credit for any fading work. On the plus side they do offer free touch ups but, if this wasnt expressed, im far from home. This was my first tattoo and it was supposed to be sentimental of me and my mom playing Yu-Gi-Oh growing up amd me and my wife getting dragon tats while Im far away. Again, im sure this is an individual experience considering my wife has had 2 beautiful tattoos from there but its disappointing seeing that the shop doesnt want to take credit for bad work especially when this was sentimental and my first tattoo (also ankle tattoos hurt a decent bit). Ill be getting it touched up in germany but atleast they have a decent stencil to work off of here 🤣

Went in tonight an saw Marita for a hand tattoo.I have never personally had a tattoo done by them before, but always heard great things. Lets just state now, this place was amazing. Front desk staff was amazing, and helpful. Had all the answers to every question i asked. I was able to look through everyones work that was out on the tables. Great works of art in each book.Marita was available tonight and boy was i in good hands. She is definitely outgoing, very talented, and down right cool to talk too.Had a fantastic experience as a first time customer. Will definitely be a repeat. So go check out Marita.. She is awesome.

This place is absolutely fantastic! Roly did such a great job taking the simple design I had and used his creativity to make it it way more than I could imagine. The whole staff is above professional and welcoming. I will definitely be a repeat customer

Came with my best friend to get my first tattoo and they were able to work us in to a late appointment! We left a previous shop after we had a not so great interaction with the artist. But our artist here, Amy, was super friendly, kind, and made my first tattoo experience super fun and enjoyable, and I love how the tattoo came out!

Absolutely professional. Love the glass front studios. It adds a new fun dynamic to getting a tattoo. Ive had both my hands done here by two different artists and they both came out exactly how I wanted.

Tattoo Technique is the place to get your tattoos! I flew in from NYC so that I could have the wonderful Maria tattoo me! She is so sweet and talented and super sterile and clean. I’ve been following her art for a while and she keeps getting better! I am a big baby with pain and Maria was so patient and kind and didn’t rush me out the door. I’ve had my tattoo for about 6 months now and has healed beautifully. If you’re thinking about getting a new tattoo look no further because this artist and shop is where to do it! I am already thinking of new tattoo ideas for Maria next time I’m in Clarksville, which I hope is soon!

This place does amazing work!!!! My wife and I both got tattoos here and we will definitely be coming back. Maria did both my husband and i’s tattoo’s. She was beyond professional, nice and went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend Maria and this shop for your next tattoo! The shop was very clean and well organized. People are saying it’s “over priced” remember you’re paying for great quality work. I found it very reasonable and the staff was amazing.

This shop is very clean and professional, I got tattoed twice by Roly and he is absolutely AMAZING!Edit: fast- forward 4 years and I’m an apprentice here. It’s such a safe and comfortable environment for women (and anyone in general), which is so important, especially being in a male driven industry. We do maintain the shop very clean; all the apprentices have assigned chores. Roly is the owner and mentor, and he holds classes for us to become better artists. I’m loving my time here, and learning from the best.

Love Tattoo Technique! Phenomenal artists and helpful staff! Very clean and professional atmosphere from the minute you walk in. Highly recommend Roly, his passion and skills are impressive! He will always go above and beyond my expectations and seems to always try and out do even his own. Always takes his time and makes sure the lines are clean and the colors right. Very knowledgeable in every style. You wont leave with a tattoo but walking artwork. I have had 3 pieces done, sugar skull & roses on belly, owl w/skull on my shoulder & my arm piece Eternal Embrace all done by him. Will not go anywhere else. This tattoo shop is high class. Not one speck of dust anywhere, very clean and professional. Every artist there is knowledgeable and proficient in their craft. I have gotten two tattoos here, one 5 hour session and one 9 hour session. Both times I was compleatly pleased in the service I received. Roly is an amazing artist and I recommend him to anyone and everyone. I drove 12 hours for a tattoo so that should give you an idea of how well run this shop is. You will not be disappointed getting your art done here!

I have had the pleasure of getting work done with the crew at Tattoo Technique. Ive got to be honest, I never thought a tattoo shop could be so classy and professional. Hands down, Tattoo Technique is THE shop in town. Its located in a beautiful downtown street near all sorts of food and entertainment so if you have a wait period you have plenty to do to kill time. Great tattoo work, at first. They are single color tats, simple. They faded and look AWFUL. NEW management and artists are going to fix this, since at the time, they had a few not awesome tattooers. I thought it was AWESOME for management to reach out for a solution. Thank goodness! A little dirty as far as floors, surfaces and windows. I was a little put off by the not spotless environment. Possibly, this has been remedied with new management also! A clean tattoo shop is extremely important.

Being new to TN and Clarksville it was a little nerve wracking to find a new tattoo artist that I knew would do exactly what I wanted and to the quality I wanted it!! So of course i was researching and slightly stalking every tattoo artist in town on every social media network and thats when I found Cody at Tattoo Technique -- I can honestly say Cody calmed every nerve I had. He is an amazing artist and was able to give me the tattoo I wanted and how I wanted it to perfection. So I would highly recommend him to anyone!

My husband and I visited this tattoo shop to see about getting a rather large tattoo on his should fixed/covered up. Upon initially visiting the shop they took pictures, took down our information, and discussed options. I thought it was weird at the time they didn’t ask for any kind of deposit but I thought maybe they wanted to see what they could do. We never heard back from them so about a month later we went back to check on the progress and they told us they were still working on it. We never heard back again. We called. We were given the run around. Looking back I don’t believe they ever intended to help my husband with his tattoo since they never asked for a deposit. If it was outside their scope or ability it would have been nice to know so we could take our business elsewhere and not waste time waiting. It was odd they had him take his shirt off to take pictures to just brush us off.

My friend and I decided to get a couple of small tattoos. I guess we caught them at a good time because we got in right away. These guys are professional, clean, and just generally talented tattoo artists. Its a cool shop. Ill definitely be back for sure.

Just had a lettering tattoo done by Leighton. He worked to get EXACTLY what I wanted with font and placement. His lines are some of the cleanest I’ve ever seen. I will 100% be getting another piece from him in the future. Not to mention he was just super enjoyable to talk to while he tattooed me. A+

I came in looking for an appointment with Roly as Ive seen his work, unfortunately Roly was on a trip overseas. By the recommendation of Marshall the shop manager Ive met Luis and had the opportunity to see his work and decided to go with him to do a sleeve piece. I have to say Im extremely happy with his work and I look forward to finish my sleeve with Luis. So if youre looking for an Artist with expertise on realism Luis is the way to go.~Victor~

Best place in Clarksville for Realism from Roly Viruez. Literally isn’t better in town.The place usually runs from 2-10 so timing is decent, but the main attraction is the quality of the store. It isn’t just a tattoo shop, it’s a housing for art as there are paintings and prints and stickers usually sold in doors.Love the place. Will return.

I went in with a friend to get belly rings. We were handled carefully and comfortably, and everything was clean, new, and unwrapped right in front of us. Went back in to get ring changed, and once again, was handled with the upmost care. Great service!! Definitely going back again!

This is the only place to come if youre serious about getting a great tattoo! This isnt your typical tattoo studio right outside of a military base with flash all over the walls and sub-par tattoo artists... If you want a great custom piece this is the place to go! I just finished a sleeve on my right arm done by Roly Viruez in 31 hours. I couldnt be happier with it! If you want a badass piece dont look anywhere else!

I was getting a meaningful tattoo and after talking to the gentleman at the front desk about the tattoo he suggested adding something to the tattoo to make it my own and I couldnt have agreed more. I always get questioned about my tattoo and tart did an amazing job on it. Plus you can go to the black horse right after win/win.

Got a tattoo by Cody a year ago and it’s awful. There are holes in it and the line work is messy. I have a semi colon smaller than a penny and it looks awful.
