Christina Villagomez tattooed me on Friday and it is gorgeous!! She was such a sweetheart and all of her artwork is to die for, while I was waiting and looking they had some other designs. The artists there are amazing and so nice and so funny! Will definitely be getting another tattoo by Christina again!

Not the best experience. But also my fault. Drew my tattoo on with Yellow and orange sharpie in a dark room, I mean he literally wore a light on his head. I Re-showed the guy the tattoo I was asking for and made him aware I wanted it really feminine because I could hardly see what he drew and he reassured me yeah it will be super feminine.My tattoo looks nothing like what I asked for. I have an appointment Monday to start the removal and cover up process. The tattoo artist was super nice though just make sure you know exactly what they are drawing on you before your in the same boat as me.... I got an owl. The tattoo was nicely done, just not what I was asking for.

I have gotten multiple tattoos from Jake and I love every single one of them. Im constantly getting compliments on my pieces and cant wait to work with him again. His new shop is wonderful, with a great vibe and great prices. I cant recommend him enough; hes a nice guy who will help you get the art you want

We drove up from Oregon to get a medical tattoo done for our daughter who has epilepsy. Jayme instantly connected with our daughter and her idea for her tattoo. He gave her great advice and we locked in an appointment for the next day. When we arrived Jayme showed her the design he came up with and she was so excited! Throughout the process Jayme was engaging and reassuring to her. He has a great personality and made us all feel welcome. His artwork was amazing and we couldnt have had a better experience. We started planning our next trip up before he had finished this tattoo so that both my wife and I can have him do our next tattoos. I would recommend Jayme to anyone looking for an artist that can translate an idea into a work of art!

Richard did my tattoo, my two sisters and my dads tattoos today and he was super quick but did an AMAZING job! Super good atmosphere and all the people working their were very friendly! Defiantly going to get some more work done in the future and highly recommend!

Never had a tattoo artist that has made me laugh more than Jayme and that was completely honest about his work and how things would lay on my skin in proportion to my body. His shop was clean, he used brand new everything and cleaned his station perfectly between me and my friends. If youre thinking of getting a color tattoo or line work at some point come hit Jayme up! I recommend his tattoos and personality 10/10.

Brought my son in for his first tattoo on his 18th birthday. We were an evening walk in. We were greeted immediately, and then Jake was very helpful in getting the tattoo my son wanted downloaded and ready. He did an excellent job making him feel comfortable and explaining everything very clearly. My son is very happy with the work!

Got my very first tattoo here, the artists were kind and welcoming. Atmosphere is relaxing. Christina did mine and my sisters matching tattoos and she did an amazing job. I definitely will come back for more tattoos in the future.

I got my first tattoo from Jayme and it was just an incredible experience. He was honest with me about the pain and put me a little more at ease with some fun small talk. As a last minute trade off between him and Wyatt (Wyatt was taking longer than expected on a big piece on another client) Jayme managed to take my idea and expand on it and it turned out to be everything i wanted and more! Definitely coming back soon for more ink!

Wyatt did amazing! I love the work he did. The only thing wrong with it is that its in a spot that is hard for me to see! I love it!

Ive been to multiple shops and tattooed by several different individuals in the area. Black Matter Tattoo is BY FAR the most cleanly and professional shop Ive been to. Jake and Jayme are two talented and friendly individuals. I cant see myself going anywhere else.Stop by their shop, you wont be disappointed.

I love that Christina wanted to redraw the design I wanted in her own way. I love her art style. She was very gracious about a last minute tweak I wanted to make to the design. I absolutely love how it turned out and I will try to remember to post pics once it heals. Bonus points for the sparkly purple accents on the chair I sat in lol. Christinas flair for design and eye for detail shines through in everything she does. She is an amazing artist.

The worse customer service I have ever experienced. I wanted to change the outline around the piece to a different style and the guy, I think hes name was Jake, gets all bent out of shape about it. After a couple of minutes of me thinking about what I want to change, he starts rushing me. Telling me he has another appointment. I tell him no problem, I can come back another day to finish. Then he say, Well, what do you expect for a $75 dollars tat. I tell him that he set the price and that money isnt the issue, Ill pay more if you like. He then trips out saying, Just leave. You do have to pay me anything for the tat. I tell him, Thats cool and all but Ill pay for the work that was done. So I put $100 dollars on his chair and walk out. He storms out of his shop and throw the 100 dollar bill on the ground. Thats not how you run a business and threat clients, Jerk.

Had my first tattoo done by Tyson. He was very professional, and explained everything to me before we started. He also went above and beyond to make sure everything was clean and hygienic. In fact the whole place was clean, inviting, and had a relaxing atmosphere.

Jayme is very professional and great at explaining his method. Doesnt take any breaks unless necessary. Ive seen a lot of past artists take many smoke breaks which cuts a lot into session time. I will recommend him to anyone looking for a tattoo artist

Ive gotten 2 of my tattoos from here while I was visiting. Both times I askedi had the pleasure of being tattooed by Jake. I love my tattoos and hes seriously the best. He doesnt look like the talking type but he seriously has the best personality!

Very nice and clean. Cool decor. Staff were friendly for a walk in. Shop minimum is $100. Not a child friendly place. The sign says they are named Electric Age tattoo now.

I was supposed to get a tattoo done tomorrow with Jayme in exchange for my tablet that I scheduled almost a week ago and jayme text me just now saying he is canceling less than a day before! So unprofessional and didnt even have the courtesy to call me, he sent a text. When I went in to have the consultation we set up a day and time to have the tattoo done and he acted like I was supposed to leave the tablet with him but I told him I bring it to him on the day we set when I was going to get the tattoo done and now he bailed. I knew he was too shady to trust! Glad I didnt but my body in his hand for him to ruin my skin for life!

As I sit, well lay in a chair while Jake tattoos me- the environment is relaxed, good tunes. And solid work. Thanks to my friends I found a new local artist I will happily support. Thanks so much!

It isnt often that you find a tattoo artist that can literally take the idea out of your head, and draw it on paper.When I first met Jayme Goodson I told him what I was wanting. He grabbed some scratch paper and started sketching as I spoke.After seeing his awesome doodle I quickly reserved a spot for later that week.Im now 3 sessions in and I couldnt be more impressed.My arm looks like Bob Ross himself got a tattoo gun and tatted happy little trees, and his signature gorgeous mountainous paintings.Jayme is awesome and Id highly recommend him to anyone looking for a real ARTIST. And a good artist that actually listens and cares what you want.Hes passionate, organized, clean, and a little OCD (which is obviously a good thing when you are getting something that lasts a lifetime)Go see him for your next piece. You wont regret it!

Went in for a quick and simple tattoo. Tyson was my guy. He did a fantastic job. Very quick and great color work. Would recommend him for sure.

Its a good basic tattoo shop , the dude I had can trace really well, but as far as legit custom tattooing, maybe look into a cpl more places......if you have a very easily drawn and traceable idea tho, this is your place

I wanted such simple tattoos and they came out horrible! Couldn’t even get the lines from the stencils straight. I’m so sad about this and don’t know what to do since they don’t offer touch ups for free like most places
