Sacred Sisters Tattoo Studio

I just got my first tattoo at the Tats and Tabbies event and it came out amazing! Thank you Blaydes for your time and effort, you did a great job and I’ll definitely be back for more!

I recently participated in a friday the 13th flash event here and while i had a good experience getting tattooed i have a couple of pieces of feedback that i think would make the customer experience more inclusive and comfortable for all. my first piece of advice would be to diversify the type of furniture available for customers to be tattooed on. i know massage tables can be an affordable option that have high weight-limits but when they’re the only option for customers it can exclude those of us with physical disabilities that still wish to be tattooed. even just one or two other tattoo chair style options would be great to not exclude customers that might not be able to physically climb up onto a massage table. if the placement of the tattoo i received required me to fully get on the massage table i likely would have opted to not get tattooed during this event. if that’s not an option, maybe invest in orthopedic cushions/wedges so customers can better support their bodies while lying on a high and very flat table during their tattoo session. this would benefit the comfort of all of your customers not just those with physical disabilities. my last piece of advice is when running a flash event, have agreed upon consistency between artists for the individual flash pieces. for example, i noticed while checking out other artists’ work on social media after this event, that other customers that received the same tattoo i did, received shading on their tattoos. it’s possible that this was negotiated individually and those customers paid extra for those details but this was not offered to me as an option and i would have jumped at the opportunity and was slightly disappointed. regardless, it is not my intention to be super negative with this review but i think constructive criticism can be valuable and can lead to opportunities for further collaboration. it’s truly great to see a woman-run and staffed shop in the area and i will likely come here again.

I came today for the Friday the 13th flash sale and I just have to say that I don’t think I’ll ever go to another shop. This place is so amazing, I felt the most comfortable I’ve ever felt in a shop. Heather did my tattoo and it was so painless, she’s incredible! I highly recommend!!!

She made sure to explain every step of her process and the aftercare in great detail, but made sure I had a voice in the process. I have been wanting to get my first tattoo for a long time now, I was just so nervous about choosing the right place and the right design, and I am so so glad that Sacred Sisters, especially artist Heather, made my first tattoo experience the best one I couldve had. I made my appointment over email, and she was very nice when talking me through my design and placement, to make sure it was exactly the way I wanted it. I got it on my rib cage and the pain was not as bad as it couldve been just because she was so skilled and efficient at her job. The tattoo maybe took 30 mins, if that, and I was only charged $80 which is extremely cheap for what I was asking for. I am looking forward to getting my next tattoo from her just because of this experience alone, and if you are looking for somewhere to get fine line work/unique designs, and amazing artists, this is the place!

The studio is very charming and inviting, and everyone there was so nice including the customers. Lexi really took her time and worked with me to make sure my first tattoo was exactly what I wanted. I couldnt be more grateful and I cant wait to come back!

The many 5 star reviews for Sacred Sisters is no joke! Great tattoo artists and I would highly recommend to anyone in the College Station/Bryan area. Expect pricing to be at least more than $80 and its completely worth it!

I went for the flash Friday sale on November 4th and it was so amazing. Just being in an all female shop had better vibes than most tattoo shops Ive been. Everyone was so great and kind. Anna was the artist who did my tattoo and she was amazing and even helped me pick a good place for my tattoo. I had a great time and I will be back later this month for another tattoo! The tattoo was beautiful and she even added some extra shading that just made such a difference and the line work is amazing. 10000% recommend!!

I booked an appointment with Lilith and she did an absolute phenomenal job. Her level of expertise and perfectness was insane to watch. She drew out my tattoo for me and made it unique to my style. She was also very patient and worked with any complaints I had, making sure I was always okay. She was confident in her work and did it insanely fast without making one mistake. The energy in the over all tattoo shop was very welcoming and warm. All the ladies there were so nice and encouraging and the vibes were calming and friendly. I would definitely book an appointment in the future with them. These ladies surpassed my expectations.

I love this tattoo studio! I found about this place through a coworker, and went to one of their Friday the 13th flash events at their old location. I had such a great experience that first time and I’ve been back many times! All of the artists are so professional and friendly. They do great tattoos at a fair price. This is truly the most comfortable I’ve ever felt in a tattoo studio. It’s a very welcoming place, especially for female identifying clients. 10/10 would recommend this studio to everyone!! Best fine line/black and grey tattoo shop in BCS!! Had a great experience here. This all-female artist shop has a very inclusive environment, everyone is welcome!! Got a detailed back piece done by the owner, Lexi, she spent her time making sure all of the measurements, lines, shading, EVERYTHING was perfect. I definitely recommend her. Lilith Avery is also very talented and has done amazing work. I could tell she cares for her clients and makes sure theyre comfortable. Will definitely be coming back here for another tattoo!

I was originally drawn to them since they are female owned and operated shop, but I stayed for the inviting atmosphere and talented artists. Hidden Gem is such a treasure to the B/CS area and there is NO other studio here like it. Lexi was an absolute dream to work with and went above and beyond as both an artist and as someone providing a service. Unlike other studios I’ve been to in the area, I was offered two sizes for my tattoo to see if I liked the size & placement, a slightly modified design to see which one looked best on my arm, water, breaks during my session, a pillow while reclining in the chair, offered numbing cream, and Lexi was above and beyond considerate of my shoulder/elbow during the tattoo and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The line work of Lexi is phenomenal and it was such a fun experience. Lexi and the other artists were fun to chat with and made me feel so welcome. The studio is femme excellence and LGBTQ+ friendly - I cannot say enough good things about Hidden Gem and Lexi as an artist and person. I will definitely be returning for my next tattoo. Hands down, Hidden Gem is the best studio I’ve been to in B/CS.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I’ve been coming here since January 2022 and have a full patchwork sleeve from Lilith. She is super sweet and is extremely talented. Everyone there is so nice and the shop is very accepting and welcoming. I genuinely couldn’t recommend a better place to get tattoos.

The staff is so welcoming and helpful, and I love how this isn’t like your average dark and spooky tattoo shop. I didn’t feel nervous to ask questions like I normally do in tattoo shops. Lexi took her time in helping me decide a good size and didn’t mind printing out different sizes. She also understood exactly what I wanted from my fairly vague email. My friend and I got matching tattoos and she was so careful about the placement, making sure they were both aligned with each other. Offered me numbing cream, which had never been offered to me for my other tattoos. You definitely get your moneys worth from this place. Amazing experience and will definitely be coming back here for my next ones!

Lilith gave me the most amazing tattoo, devoting five hours to it. She filled an imaginatively conceived outline of the state of Michigan with the state fish, fruit, wildflowers and more. The colors are vibrant, the images detailed. She was warm, funny, attentive to my state of mind, and skillful beyond belief!

Had a blast getting some star wars flash with my husband for our first tattoos EVER here. Lilith is a blast to get a tattoo from and does great work, and was also extremely patient with my husband who found out just how low his pain tolerance is lol. Ill be back for sure!

I just got my first tattoo ever here by Lilith Avery. I chose a teeny-tiny design that is really meaningful to me. I actually felt a little silly about getting something so tiny but my artist was patient and kind and didn’t make me feel silly at all or like she’d rather be doing something more interesting. She gave me some great feedback about how to make sure my tattoo would age well and had me try different sizes to be sure I didn’t want to go a little bigger. The shop was lovely, light and bright and the all-female staff were warm and welcoming. The tattoo is exactly what I wanted and I had an all around perfect first experience.

I got my first tattoo at Sacred Sisters by Heather and she did absolutely fantastic! Not only does the tattoo look wonderful but she was so sweet about walking me through everything and making sure it was exactly what I wanted.

I just got some line work done on my lower right arm by Lexi and was BLOWN AWAY. She was is kind and took time to make sure it was placed exactly where and how I wanted it. I went here about a year ago to get a really sentimental tattoo done. I got a simple roman numeral tattoo done with simple vines around it. It faded horribly. I had tattoos before i went here and none of them did this so I know how my skin holds ink. She also did some of the numerals crooked. It was so bad i had to go to Legacy Tattoo parlor to get it redone over. My tattoo artist who did the bad job is Lexi. She also did horribly on my two roommates as well. Their tattoos faded so bad. One roommate got hers covered up completely with something else and my other roommate will be getting her fixed somewhere else. I would give it a zero if i could considering that tattoos are permanent and shouldn’t have to be covered up if done correctly.
