Connellys Tattooing

I’m from out of state and I am only here for the 4 day weekend. Called on Sunday 9/1/24 to see if they take walk ins, (wanted 2 wedding band tattoos for me and my husband), receptionist said yes and told me we could come in whenever. We came into the shop not even 15 mins after we called, then they tell us it was gonna be an hour and a half wait. Not only did they not mention a wait over the phone, they told us to come is whenever. So we set up an appointment for Monday 9/2/24 instead at 11 AM, got a text at 10:45 AM on Monday saying they’re actually closed today and to make an appointment for next time instead. Such simple scheduling that could’ve been handled differently and didn’t have to waste our time.

JW did my tattoo and it was an excellent tattoo design he came up with off from what I told him I wanted. The whole experience was pleasant and a very clean place. I definitely will be back and recommend!!! A definite 5 star!

I brought my daughter here to get a tattoo (she’s 17). Tabitha was great. She took the time to discuss the tattoo with my daughter and engaged with her during the process. It was a great tattoo experience for my daughter.

I called to see if I could walk in for a small tattoo. JW was awesome! I sent him a pic of what I wanted and a description. I got there and he had 4 sizes to choose from and their prices. I chose one and was done in under 30 min! Will definitely be getting with him about the larger piece I have been wanting done!

10/10 got there like an hour after they opened for a walk in tattoo. Called them beforehand and the lady who dealt with the phone was amazing both over the phone and in person. Literally such a queen!! Everyone is super friendly! Airanna (I’m so sorry if I spelled it wrong) did my tattoo and she was super sweet and I loved how it came out!!!plus it’s a bonus that they took card in my opinion lol would come back😁

Samantha connelly is the best! The sisters tattoo was a touchup tattoo. The heart tattoo was a matching tattoo with me my my and sister and the other one she did one on my sister and one on me! She did an amazing job on all of them! I highly recommend!

Sam did a awesome job on mine and my wifes tattoo. Great staff and friendly. She was very clean the whole time while working.

This was my first largeTatto that I have gotten and I was amazed how the Artist could take an idea in my head and draw it out on paper then to a Tattoo on my arm Connellys is a very clean place and only uses steral equipment my Artist Shannon was very good and made me feel very relaxed and told me what to expect each step of the way I would recommend Connellys to anyone who is getting a Tattoo

Got a cute little rose that was done by Samantha. It came out looking great and hardly even hurt! Definitely will return.

Business was clean and organized. They had our email of the ink myself and my brother wanted. It was both our first in honor of our mother. Service rep explained everything thoroughly before we went back to artists. Tabitha was amazing. Overall a great experience. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

While you do have to email them and wait for a response which can take a day or two, it’s due to Covid that they are scheduling appts this way. I’ve been here a couple of times, mainly getting work done with JW and he’s been professional and friendly each time. I love both of my pieces so far (He did the sunflower in the pic). His lines are clean. I will recommend them unless something changes but so far, so good.

Ive been going here for the past four years! The shop is neat and the employees are super nice. They have tons of drawings on the wall which makes it stand out. I love how you can just walk in and the wait is never too long. Ive been tattooed by all three of the employees that work here (they are siblings) and all their work is dope! You really do get your moneys worth!

Samantha is amazing!!! She did a cover up for me on my wrist and took all the time to make sure I was happy with the design, and did unbelievable work! Her and the other staff were very friendly and the prices are fair! Definitely will return and highly recommend!!!

Absolutely love my tattoos! My tattoo artist was amazing. She took her time to figure out the best size that was good for my design as well as finding the right angle that worked for me. Super friendly and very knowledgeable.

I appreciate Samantha working with me, as I had two ideas in mind. She helped to customize one of my ideas so I know I will definitely return to get my other piece done. As we navigate through our new reality due to Covid, I understand the importance of the appointment process and appreciate them for looking out for everyone’s safety.

I was a walk-in and was able to get my tattoo with just a 15 minute wait. I emailed them what I wanted and discussed small changes.The receptionist was very knowledgeable, informative, and friendly. Samantha, the tattooist, was friendly and very professional.Ill definitely go back to them and recommend them.

I always have Tabitha and on occasion Samantha. Both are very unique, talented artists who really put everything into their work. Prices are great, customer service exceptional. Wait times are not bad either, and they are great about keeping you informed about how long itll be. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Very clen place and it was my first real Tattoo and Samantha knew exactly what to do and how to take .y idea from my Head and put it on my arm and it came out so Awesome better than what I was thinking she is very Talented I would recommend Connellys Tattoo to anyone

I love it! Ive been there for two of my three tattoos, had them touch up my third. Samantha is great! And theyre reasonable priced. I plan to go to them for all my future tattoos.

My sons first tattoo and we couldnt be happier. Friendly clean atmosphere. We visited another shop before we went there they didnt compare. Samantha was one of a kind. We have found our tattoo shop for all of our future work. Thanks for the great work.

A year and a half ago, I would have rated them a 5 star as at that time I received a tattoo from samantha. She has amazing talent and is super sweet. A friend of mine got her ink the same day from JW and again, amazing talent and very nice. That was October 2019. I have attempted to get 2 tattoos from them since then, one for myself and one for my husband. I have only been ignored. Im a very patient person and have waited weeks even over a month and i got nothing. Even after sending a follow up email. Their talent is great but their business side needs work. Maybe they only care about regulars. Who knows! It saddens me to even write this but I feel that they need to hear it. Maybe they will be more responsive for the next person.

If you want to have an appointment set up a month prior, and then the artist not be there because they were on a planned vacation then this is the place for you!I understand mistakes happen, and although disappointed, I would not have been angry that my artist was not there. It was about how the entitled woman, Samantha, over the counter handled the situation.Long story short, I was literally yelled at over the counter in front of room of people waiting because of THEIR mistake..mind you this was preCOVID but what left me to leave this review now was my friend telling me about her most recent experience...of being blantly ignored and also treated poorly by the lovely Samantha.This place does not value new clientele nor have any professionalism at all. 10/10 do not reccomend.

My daughter, son, and I had tattoos done. The experience was great. The establishment is nice. The ladies were very friendly, welcoming, and did a great job! I will definitely be returning for my next tattoo!

I love this place!. I have always went to lucky 13 for tattoos but from where I live its a bit of a drive. I was feeling lazy one night and decided to try Connellys. One it only took me 7 mins to get there, 2 the service is great with a home feeling. And most important the tattoo look great and very good prices!. Everyone should go at least once. I will continue going to connellys from that point on.

All 5 of my tattoos are from this family and I wont go anywhere else but this family theyre professional neat loving and reasonable I love them for Life

Great Work & Great Prices!!! When I came to VA, I was done with tattooing. I met J.W. in a local pet store where he handed me a business card. I thought Id keep it for future reference. Eventually, the urge to tattoo again allowed me to walk into the shop and its been history up to the present. J.W. is my main artist but Samantha has done work for me also. All artist are skilled.

Its hard to get some ink sometimes only because they are superb and booked. Samantha always does a wicked job, everyone who sees my tattoos follow me back.

I get all of my tattoos from this shop, been going 10 years strong. Family business, clean and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

I got a wrist tattoo of a sunflower and the petals werent colored in all the way along with the leaves so Im very disappointed. I paid $80 for it and I feel like it was a waste of money anyways now I have to save up to get it fixed🙄💔

By appointment only and you have to do it online and days for a reply.... I recommend Old Glory tattoos!! Excepts walking and fantastic customer service and explanation for any questions you have!!!!

I didnt get a tattoo that day I visited do to my timing,but I have before a few years back and the service was great.my tattoo still looks amazing and its been about 7-8 years.

They had us waiting outside for 30 minutes just for them to say they were not taking anyone else. When we tried to call (multiple times) to make an appointment there was no answer.
