Undertow Tattoo Studio

My daughter had been wanting another piercing in each ear for a while now. Sara was the ear piercer. She explained the whole process to ensure everything was understood. She was patient and careful and made sure my daughter would be happy with her piercing. My daughter was very nervous that it would be painful but much to my surprise she didn’t experience any pain. Sara had music playing the whole time which made the environment so relaxing. This establishment is very, very clean and has a welcoming environment. If you need a piercing we recommend Sara. :-)

Selena is by far my favorite tattoo artist! She made me feel right at home! Undertow in general felt so homey and chill. Everyone is so nice and funny! I was able to watch whatever I wanted on tv while she did my tattoo and my bf’s which I thought really helped with the process. This was my second tattoo and it went by pretty damn fast. It healed perfectly as well! I can’t wait to set my next appointment with her! ☺️❤️

First time getting piercings done here today and I will definitely be going back! Everyone was very nice and down-to-earth. Sara was my piercer and she was awesome!! The daisy tattoo is my 3rd now with Mel. She did some of her own flash designs for Friday the 13th. I cant say enough how amazing she is. Her detail is just amazing and she is so talented and kind.

Been here a number of times and its always great; everytime I come in the staff are really nice. Ive been pierced a few times by Sara and she was really cool, also had a few tattoos between different artists and they ALL came out great! Most recent was Melanie and she made sure I was comfortable and any questions I had were answered. Love my tattoos!

This was my first time getting pierced at an actual tattoo/piercing location and OMG! The vibes once you walk in, the attentiveness to service, and the people working there was the best comforting feeling ever. As soon as I walked in I felt so welcomed and knew that I could trust them with the service I wanted to have done. Sara was the one who did my nose piercing and I couldn’t have been more happier. She explained the whole process well, explained each step as she was doing it, takes her time, and she just makes you so feel so comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back to get pierced by Sara again. If you’re looking for an amazing body piercer, Sara is definitely the one.

My boyfriend took me here to get a belly piercing for my birthday. It was a very welcoming experience since the moment we walked in. Mellow vibes and very comfortable. Sara, my piercing artist, made the whole experience even better with her dark sense of humor and hilarious personality. I am highly pleased with this experience!

Loved the experience at this shop!The shop was clean, organized and spacious. The staff I spoke with were so friendly and answered any questions that I had. I ended up getting a tattoo with an artist named Selena and she was such a sweetheart! She is meticulous about her work and has a gentle touch. Definitely would come back in the future for more tats.

I had both a tattoo consultation and a separate appointment for the tattoo. During both appointments Mel was super duper sweet to me even though this was my first tattoo and I had a lot of questions. Even if my idea wasn’t good she still gave me a visual as to why my ideas would be good. She also gave me how each party would eventually look overtime. My tattoo took about 4 1/2 and during the entire process she made she to check up on me to make sure I was oki. She also made me use the TV when genuinely made the process 10 times better and easier. During both appointments she made sure to go over every tip to ensure that my tattoo heals properly and safely. Truly amazing, I will definitely be coming back again. 🫶🏾

The studio is clean and professional and there are so many incredible artists to choose from. I personally got a tattoo from Selena and pretty quickly needed a second one because the first was so incredible. Her fineline black and gray is so precise, and her patience during consultation is truly something to be applauded. Highly recommend getting to get tattooed by her.In spending time at the studio, I got to meet Mel as well and her style is so stunning and soft, I know I’ll be booking with her soon as well.

I can’t say enough about the entire experience at Undertow. Dylan is amazing! Very professional and so patient! We worked on my full leg sleeve over 11 sessions and I enjoyed every single one. This studio, and specifically Selena are truly incredible.You can smell how clean it is the moment you walk in, which is a huge deal to me.They make you feel extremely welcome and assisted.As someone who had a not so great tattoo experience for my first time, this place has really changed my perspective.Selena was so warm and informative. From going over the stencil and working with me, to her explaining after care and our conversation throughout my appointment.We clicked immediately and she has since then brought all of my ideas to life.Her attention to detail is immaculate and she never fails to include the most intricate pieces into each tattoo.I never understood when people said they had a specific tattoo artist they went to; until now.She is the only person I will go to from now on.I start thinking of my next tattoo at each appointment with her.10/10 would recommend.

I got my septum and earlobe pierced with Sara about a month ago. I can confidently say she’s the best piercer I’ve ever dealt with! She is very funny and makes sure you are always comfortable. She is very honest about your anatomy and makes sure you leave happy! Even after I got pierced originally she stayed in touch and helped me when the ball to my septum fell out and switching my jewelry. 10/10 would recommend Sara she is the best 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Had a great first experience at this shop! Went with my husband as a walk in and was accommodated immediately. Bing welcomed us and tattooed us. We made sure we were happy with the design and the size and got to work. He held a good conversation the whole time and remained professional. Before even completing my tattoo- I already booked with him for another 2 weeks later! Can’t wait to be back!

Just got my second tattoo here, excellent shop! I went as a walk in both times with my wife, wait time was super minimal.I went with general inspiration pictures and the artists there did an awesome job of turn that into exactly what I wanted. They are super knowledgable about designing you tattoo to fit where you want it. Bing and Selena are both great to work with!

I’ve been going to Undertow since it first opened. Dylan has done most of my work. Bing Bing did my favorite tattoo so far, that’s my voodoo doll (Bob). I will say the Selena has the lightest hand. She did matching tattoos with my BFF (His first tattoo) and me. We are already plan to add more to the Scorpio constellation since she was so amazing. Can’t wait to see you guys in Feb 2024!

BingBing is the absolute Best artist I could possibly ask for.If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.Hes got precise line work, fluid color work with seamless blending, and excellent composition.I came in with scattered ideas on my first full color piece and he sat with me for well over an hour to make sure the design wad perfect. Not once did he make me feel rushed or foolish for the things I was asking, and when something wouldnt have worked out (the placement or direction of the image) he took the time to explain it to me.With my second piece I got from him, two full sleeves of a very difficult to place black line work. He worked tirelessly to make sure everything was Perfect. And I mean, Perfect.Even during after care, BingBing answered all of my questions in a swift time fashion, giving me several explanations and options to my troubles.During the tattoos, I would ask questions, out of curiosity, like why he would do a certain thing, or why it looked a certain way during the process, and he didnt get insulted or offended. He took the time to just simply explain why and helped it make sense to me.I had gotten two tattoos before discovering the great BingBing and both were not great experiences, so much so that the second tattoo, a small piece on my finger, wasnt done correctly and didnt heal right, BingBing offered to fix it for me while doing my color piece.It came out perfect after he touched it up. Amazing experience from start to finish! I went in for a consultation with only an idea and some handwriting that I wanted done. Met with Mel who was so patient and talented. Undertow Tattoo Studio in Coral Springs has a friendly and professional staff. The first thing that the receptionist did when I arrived was offer me a cold bottle of water and a comfortable place to sit. The facility is clean and the vibe at Undertow is relaxing and welcoming. It’s almost like you’re at a tattoo spa.My objective was to get some shading or “smoke” behind the multiple tattoos I have on my left arm. Selena (Selestial Arts) was the tattoo artist that worked with me. Selena listens well and is very creative. She took my concept and suggested a galaxy in space motif. I trusted her vision and Im glad I did. It brought all of my tattoos together in a unique way and enhanced the overall look as opposed to just adding shading behind it. After we were done Selena described it as all of my tattoos rotating together in space around the galaxy’s core.Selena also paid attention to the health of my sixty seven year old skin applying antiseptic spray during the tattoo process, which I thought was a nice touch. Selena has a delightful personality, is caring, has a passion for art, and has a great attention to detail.I have had tattoos done at several different studios. What sets Undertow Tattoo Studio and Selena apart from the others is the pleasant atmosphere and the warm feeling you get when you are treated like a friend instead of a customer. I will be back.

Heard nothing but great things about this tattoo shop and decided to check it out myself as I was referred my a co-worker. My wife and I walked in for a few small tattoos on her birthday and were immediately greeted at the door by Bing. First tattoo completed!!!..from the first day I walked I had good vibes & talking Selena definitely sealed the deal ...The process was easy , Checking was a breeze thanks to Sarah & getting the actual tattoo was a fun experience. Sarah is hands-down, the best person to get a piercing from. She’s very sweet and caring and you could tell that it’s not just a job for her, but she genuinely cares about the person sitting in her chair. Going in to get my nose pierced I had lots of anxiety because I’m afraid of needles. But she was very patient throughout the whole process when I was panicking, nervous and freaking out. She waited for me to calm down and also went to extreme measures to make me feel well supported. Like finding me someone to hold my hand. Shout out to Selena as well you two are truly amazing and I’m crying while writing this because it really touched me the amount of care and support that was given to me. Selena was AMAZINGGG.!!! She took her time. The design came out GORGEOUS && conversation was great. (Was there for about 5 hours && if it wasnt for that..it wouldve been a LONGGGGGG 5 hours) i recommend selena to anyone && everyone. I trust her with the most complex tattoos.

I’m a little late for my review, but this review can’t go unsaid. I went to get a piercing, and to my luck I had Sara take care of me. I can truly say I’ve never met such a unique individual. She made sure to show me all the options available for my liking, made sure to explain to me EVERY single step of her process from beginning to end. Her attention to making sure everything was sterile and to ask if I understood everything as she explained just made me feel so comfortable. Besides that she made sure my piercing was placed exactly where I wanted. Provided me with after care instructions and shared some good tips as well. I went to under on Friday the 13th it was SUPER PACKED but they managed the crowd well. Sara was did an awesome job on the placement of my conch and it metal for all the piercings is titanium so you don’t have to worry about allergies. Will be coming back for another piercing soon

First time at this studio and I am blown away on how nice, clean and friendly this place is. But what will definitely bring us back is Mel! was AMAZING, kind, tons of patience and very detailed.

We had an AWESOME experience!! My best friend and I woke up wanting to get matching tattoos. After searching on google we found Undertow, and we are so happy we did!!! We called ahead and asked if they accept walk ins. The man at the front desk (wish I got his name) was so kind and said they were and that they would have two artists available around the time we wanted to come in. We came in at almost 2:30 and we were behind two other ladies that had come in. We were told it would be a 45 min wait which we were happy about bc we wanted to finalize some last minute details. During the wait we were offered complimentary water, searched through the artists books to get some more ideas, and enjoyed the music they played. My bf needed a charger and they found one for him and plugged it in next to us. SO NICE THANK YOU!!! We then met with Bing who sat down and helped us plan our design. He really made our vision come to life!! All we did was air drop him our inspo pics and he did the rest. We were so happy with his final design!!! He asked us questions and made sure every step was perfect from the design, size of the tatt, and placement. Bing did my tattoo to the left and Selena did my best friends to the right. Bing asked us if we were ok with him doing mine and Selena doing my best friends bc it won’t be identical to each others and we were fine with that. Honestly it was very considerate to ask us, bc some places won’t even care to ask. They guided us to make sure we were happy with the placement, and they let us know where it would be best and then we were off! It was nice bc there’s a window between Bing and Selena’s booth and me and my best friend could talk while we got tatt’d. Bing has a FIRE playlist and BOY he moves at lightening speed when he tatts which I appreciate!!! As you can see in the pic he did his thing!!! Selena was so sweet and she added the cutest shading to my best friends tatt!! We were worried about how painful our placements would be but Selena has a light hand and checks in to make sure you’re ok, and Bing works so fast you don’t even realize you’re getting tatt’d lol. We love the differences in our tatts and you can really see how unique Bing and Selena’s styles are. We HIGHLY recommend either, THEY WERE AWESOME!!!! It was such a dope experience!!! We were really taken care of and we have found our new tattoo shop!! Everyone was so kind and welcoming, front the front desk (wish I got the girls name that was there too) to the artists. Hell from the first call everything was great!!! The facility is beautifully decorated and very clean!!! If you need some ink COME HERE!!! RUN HERE DON’T WALK!! Super social, knowledgeable staff. very clean, professional studio. i walked in with a septum piercing i couldn’t get out. this studio was able to get it out and with their great assistance walked me through the proper process of how to take care of a piercing long term, and what i should look out for when buying jewelry :) would totally recommend sara for piercings!!

Hands down the cleanest, most professional, and super fun tattoo studio in Florida! Had the pleasure of being tatted by the super talented John and even though it was a simple tattoo with my girlfriend, he was a perfectionist! Both tats came out beautiful. He took his time with us even though my girlfriend kept changing her mind. He has the patience of a saint! Will be coming back to add on to this piece! I love Undertow! I have been tattooed by Bing Bing (the lady on my thigh) and Selena (my dog on my forearm). Both did amazing jobs and I will definitely be coming back for more. My whole family goes to Undertow for their tattoos. Can’t go wrong with Undertow!

Sara was so knowledgeable and sweet and put my girls at ease! Sara is very meticulous throughout the ear piercing process and everything was extremely clean/sterile. I highly recommend!!!

Selena is the absolute best. Me and my wife will only go to her. Seen her several times now and even brought our baby daughter with us during an appointment and she made sure to play Winnie the Pooh for us and even helped occupy her when she got fussy. 10 out of 10 recommend her and all of her work!

Recently had a few pieces done by bingbing after researching a few local artists and shops. Bing was professional, patient, and chill. He doesnt make you feel rushed at all. Came here on vacation from Daytona Beach. Called a few places around the area but Undertow was clean, friendly and easy to work with. Edric, my artist, was very easy to communicate with, good at listening and suggesting ideas. My tattoo was more on the simple side but he made it quick, easy and fun. (and it looks amazing of course) If i could recommend any tattoo place nearby it was be here. (if you’re looking for a chill, talented artist, Edric is your guy!)

Mel is amazing. She is a tattoo ARTIST. Her work is so detailed and delicate. I love her style of tattooing, she has done 3 tattoos for me so far and I love them all. She takes her time. She makes sure you love the design , that the placement is right and while tattooing she makes sure to have every detail right. I will definitely be going to her for more tattoos in the future.I also had a piercing with Sara, she was great. Made me feel comfortable and walked me through the whole process.Love the shop, it’s beautiful and clean. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Undertow since it opened a few years ago, and I’ve been seeing Dylan for about 7 years now. It’s an immaculate shop, with some seriously talented artists. Dylan is amazing with his realism pieces - and Selena does really beautiful line work. I have friends and family who visit me from NY throughout the year, and they get ink with Dylan or Selena every time they come.

I came here a few months ago to get my first bodily piercing (belly button!) and i got it done by Sara, who is INCREDIBLE at her work and is just such a great energy to be around. Nirvana is an absolute artistic genius!! She’s done over half of my tattoos and even fixed one that I got from another shop. She’s super professional, personable, and talented. If I could go back in time and only go to her, I’d totally do it.

All my tattoos have been done by Vince! This one is my favorite and most personal! I showed him the idea and he designed it in about 20 minutes while the actual tattooing only took about 45 minutes. His line work and shading are amazing and definitely the style I myself lean towards! Every appointment is very comfortable! Hes amazing!

Mel is my tattoo artist, she is awesome does great work, is very friendly and nice, she is very dedicated to her work and always gives great advice ! She will never tell you a tattoo looks good just for the money she always gives her opinion and I appreciate that the most. Never rushes a tattoo always make sure it’s perfect ! Everytime I walk in, Im met with a refreshing nautical feel. The smell of green soap and witch hazel fill my nostrils. And the smiles of friendly women greet me. I meet with my artist Bing, we take refuge in his private area. Where we discuss, draw out and begin on a tattoo design that I came in with. I have been coming to Bing Bing for about 11 years now. And in all these years, he has never let me down. He understands and takes his art very seriously. From full color cartoon figures, to black and white portraits. Bing has taken the time to perfect each individual style. And it shows. My favorite part is the discussion. Where he takes the time to really comprehend what it is you want, as this permanent piece of art on your skin.

Flew all the way from Wisconsin to come get a tattoo from Undertow and I couldn’t be happier with the final product! Selena did an amazing job. I mean, from the moment you walk in you already know you’re going to be getting a legendary tattoo. Upon entering, Bella greeted me behind the counter, offered me some water and had me sign the necessary forms. Nirvana (my artist) greeted me in under 2 minutes of me walking in. It was a pleasure waiting for the other 2 minutes it took her to prepare for my tattoo because the music in the place was so good, obviously a curated playlist. Nirvana’s room was spacious, clean, had personality. She offered me snacks, choice of what entertainment I wanted, constantly asked if I was comfortable. When it came to the tattoo, she tripled checked the angles, corrected the positioning, and made sure I loved it before she started (obviously I did). Out of all the tattoos on my body, this one was one of the least painful, well done, and perfectly executed tattoos I have. 1000% not going back to any other artist, can’t believe I got a tattoo this good in little Coral Springs. Very happy 10 out of 5 stars.

I gave John the basic idea of what I wanted and he proceeded to create a masterpiece.The entire Undertow Tattoo Studio staff was friendly, warm, and receiving. I felt completely at ease despite it being my 1st tat. Would absolutely go back to Undertow Tattoo Studio, and artist John Watson when I’m ready for my next tattoo.

Best experience Ive ever had walking into a tattoo shop, very personable. Tried 3 other shops before hand and they just stared no greeting. The artistry is very comparable to some of the best tattoos in South Florida for sure. Got my first tattoo there and sat in the chair for 11 hours and it was very comfortable. Good prices, great service. Im definitely going back to get more in the future.

The best piercing experience i have ever had. I came in not knowing what i wanted and the piercer Sarah really sat there and took her time to help me figure out what i wanted to get. She was very chill and easy to get along with. She made me very comfortable instantly. Also Bella was very sweet, friendly, and super funny. I loved the overall atmosphere of being around the both of them. Now getting the piercings itself was actually a breeze 4/10 pain. Sarah took her time making sure both sides were leveled and not uneven. She talked me through the whole thing which really put me at ease . I recommend you guys to go to Sarah for your piercings she’s amazing and has the best vibes.

I came in to get my earrings changed in my upper ear that was swollen and I couldn’t get to or change myself the lady who helped me was so nice and informative . I would definitely recommend and come back.

Recently, I went here to get my helix pierced, and Sara serviced me. She did a wonderful job, making me feel comfortable and making sure the piercing is what I wanted and how I wanted it. The shop was very clean. I truly have no complaints. I love my piercing. And Sara really did a wonderful job.

I absolutely loved my experience at Undertow Tattoos! This was my first time here and the environment and service was so positive and enjoyable! I was greeted by Sarah at the desk and she was lovely to work with and handle the paperwork and she especially made us feel at home by talking about movies to watch! Nirvana was my tattoo artist and she’s phenomenal! Her personality is so warm and friendly she really made me feel so comfortable while we discussed placement and sizes! While being tattooed she kept making sure I was feeling alright and all together the she was so kind and professional! All in all a fabulous experience and I’d highly recommend to anyone! I will definitely be returning!

I’ve had Bing Bing as my artist for almost 10 years now. Everytime we work together we always create ideas to put together differently and he always makes it happen effortlessly. Even my oldest pieces we have done still remain very vibrant and look like they were recently done. Anytime someone asks for a good artist I immediately refer them to Bing Bing he so patient with clients and a very humbled person. Definitely sticking with him until my last tattoo.

I was looking for a tattoo shop near me and I stumbled upon Undertow. Upon inspecting their instagram, I found Mel and I am so happy that I did! Mels craft, patience, and attention to detail is what sets her apart. I am so happy with my tattoo and I will definitely be back. Trust Mel with any of your tattoos, she will knock it out of the park.

I went today to make me a matching tattoo with my daughter and the experience was excellent. The studio is so clean, big and all the people were so nice. Our artist was Vince Swain and he made everything so easy and relax, specially for my daughter that was doing her first tattoo. Highly recommended studio and of course our artist Vince! Thanks

My experience at undertow tattoo was absolutely amazing. The customer service never fails to be excellent here. Sara was so sweet with explaining the process of the piercings and the procedure itself was quick and easy. Vince tattood my butterflies and it is hands down my favorite tattoo! The lines are clean and vibrant. Not only is he super talented but he’s also very kind. He made me feel very comfortable. I usually don’t go to male tattoo artists because of a bad experience with one but Vince was extremely professional! Can’t thank him enough.
