This is the best shop in CC. Every artist is so talented & the customer service is amazing. Some tattoos shops can be intimidating, even if you are heavily tattooed, but not this one. Everyone greeted when they walk in & every idea is treated with respect. I drive 4 hours to get tattooed here just for the service and quality alone ! Go see Mathew , Cindy or Michael! 10/10

Megan is hands down the best piercer I have ever gone to! I’ve gotten my ears and belly pierced with her and she made me feel so comfortable and took her time making sure I was okay with the placement! Absolutely loved my experience with her!

If you’re in Corpus and want to get pierced, go to Katie Lascano. She is the best. Very professional and calming when I was nervous about my piercing. I don’t even live in Corpus but from now on I will get all my piercings from her.

My experience was wonderful with tattoo artist Michael Casarez. He did some of the best work I have ever seen, and it was a cover up piece to top it off. Thank you again for your amazing work. I am embarrassed to post the original tattoo but you deserve the recognition for your unbelievable work. It was very affordable too.

I got my nostril and ears done here and had a wonderful experience. The staff was quick and friendly shared vital information and made good conversation. I actually went and got pierced during my lunch. Got there around 1:20 and was back at work by 1:55. Plus the atmosphere in there is great! Looks cool from the outside but the inside is really smthn :)

I got a helix piercing. My piercer (Meg? Im ashamed, I dont recall her name) was great! She was really nice, super quick, it barely hurt while in the chair. She was experienced enough to identify scar tissue in my ear that would have caused problems & to change the piercing location. Gave me all the after care instructions.

My brother and I got tattooed by Wes. The experience was great. He was very patient when working with us and didn’t mind working after hours to complete our tattoos. That was much appreciated! The work was great! Definitely recommend!

My daughter and my girlfriend got their first ink, and Matthew and Cindy did a great job! Clean lines and great shading!

The waiting time was a bit long but it was worth the wait. They made sure my child had proper documentation such as a birth certificate. Their fees are very reasonable and pleased with their professionalism. They do need a clerk to handle intake customers and I suggest a sign in sheet so they know which customer is next. Other than that, such a cool tattoo shop right in Corpus Christi downtown. And if you happen to go on a thurs, the bar next door has $1 slice pizzas!😍

I was the tourist trying to get a Pinterest tattoo in the middle of the day...My Tattoo artist was great and freehand sketched what I wanted and translated my idea directly to my skin.From the initial phone call to the finished product these folks were on point, very welcoming and the girl at the front counter couldnt have been nicer.The biggest issue I have about tattoo shops is the unwelcoming attitude from the staff..This place was SUPERB!!!

The experience was amazing i had Wes. He is super chill and will let you do what you want with your tattoo and was overall just fun to be around and let my cousins watch from outside the room. The tattoo was almost painless for my first tattoo and turned out exactly how i wanted it. THANK YOU WES ITS SICK!

I’ve gone here multiple times for they are the only place in corpus that does titanium piercings. Riley knows what she’s doing and is very helpful. The staff is helpful and the atmosphere is cool. They only accept cash and they do sell piercing jewelry. I highly recommend people to Riley.

Megan did my nostril piercing and 3 weeks later did my 13yo daughters double helix.This was my daughters very first (and second) piercing. Megan made great suggestions on placement due to ear shape. And even though I couldnt go into the room with my daughter (Rona), I could see through the window into Megans space. She took great care of her!Shes super sweet and thorough in explaining everything including aftercare. Shes also quick! BING, BANG, DONE!The shop was also clean and quiet. Other artists smiled and said hi. We felt very comfortable during our visits.I wouldnt hesitate one second to refer my friends to Axis!UPDATE Jan 2022Its a little over a year later and 2 of the 3 piercings that Megan did have been removed. My nostril would never heal despite trying everything suggested online and even in the shop. I have also recently found out that a saline product I was using that Megan said was ok to use, probably wasnt.I spoke with Riley in person and she pretty much glanced from over the counter and suggested the same things that every website said (which didnt work). She didnt seem too interested in my issue. The only other suggestion online was that maybe it wasnt done correctly. It could have been at an angle... Ill let it heal and try again at a different shop. Hopefully I can get this dark scar to go away quickly.My daughter went ahead and removed one of her helix piercings. It also had trouble healing for whatever reason.In all my years and multiple piercings, I have never had to remove one. I understand the nostril is a bit different, but still...

Me and some close friends have had several different services preformed here and we have had nothing but great experiences! Today Riley helped me and a friend in a spur of the moment piercing venture and yet again we had another very positive experience! Riley was incredibly thorough on after care instructions and talked me through the process as it was done (I was pretty nervous this time around). Really the only shop I truly trust especially in the area we live. Thanks again Riley!

Got piercings done by Meg today. It was the 1st time going there because they had amazing reviews. The shop was super clean and it even smelled clean when you entered the shop. Everyone was extremely nice. Meg was amazing. She explained everything before she started and after she was done. She made me feel really comfortable. I came to Axis Tattoo for my very first tattoo in August 2020, and have been going since. Im currently working on a Horror sleeve with Cindy, she is very professional and a true artist. Shes been able to take ideas and make some fantastic tattoos! I will definitely continue working with Cindy and I highly recommend her; first timer or not. Cindy is the best artist Ive had in years, shes fantastic. I cant speak for the other artists but I would imagine they are more than qualified to give you the tattoo you want. Remember, good tattoos are never cheap and cheap tattoos are never good. I will be back!

Im a person that wants to be pierced but not a big needle fan, yes the struggle is real lol. My artist if I can call her that was amazing calmed the nerves and was quick clean and fun. I will be going back again once I work up the nerve! I got a beautiful lip piercing called the Medusa I believe and I love it! I also took my child because well Im a Mom and she was kind enough to understood my need to have him near for his safety and she asked him to sit near the door and assured Mom was going to be fine.

I have been going to Axis for years and have had a great experience each time. I highly recommend Wes! He is a pleasure to work with and does amazing tattoos.

The piercer Riley has the personality of a rock. No bedside manner if any. Constantly acts like he has something better to be doing than answering your questions and giving you a sense of security that hes confident in his skills. Because he does not. Im sure the tattoo work is great at Axis, but if you need to get a solid piercing, find someone else. Id give 1/2 a star if possible.

Walked in for my first tattoo yesterday. I had hopes of getting it the same day. I wanted a custom anchor tattoo. Adam was my artist he took my thoughts and then used his ability to transform it into a freaking masterpiece!!! I am already getting so many compliments and it has only been a day! I highly recommend Adam, very professional and a true artist who takes pride in his work!

DO NOT GET PIERCINGS HERE!!!! Every single time I’ve been it’s gotten either infected or a huge kiloid appeared. I have multiple piercings in multiple spots and the first time I got my industrial she dropped the cork then picked it up and put it on the needle instead of a sterile one, the second time I got my nose done and she used a infinity hoop instead of a straight and a kiloid the size of a dime is on my nose. DO NOT GET PIERCINGS HERE! EVER. there are better shops to get them done at.

Riley did a phenomenal job piercing my 12 year old daughters earlobes. My kid was a little nervous, but Riley talked her through it, kept her calm and was very informative about the care and upkeep. Couldnt have asked for more.

About two months ago I got an orbital piercing by Riley. The piercing never healed correctly, despite my constant cleaning it with wound wash. I went to a different piercer to have it removed because it was just so painful. The other piercer told me that the post was the wrong length and was squeezing my ear, causing it to sink into my ear at both ends. I should have known to wait, since Riley admitted to being hung over that day and had injured her thumb the night before. Now I have huge open wounds on both sides of my ear.

Very Happy!!! My friend and I left another shop because of how we were treated and he didnt even want to do the tattoo we were asking for. He wanted to change it so he didnt have to tattoo a circle. It was a smiley face. It should be a circle. He ended up being very rude and we left and came here. Don was patience and attentive!!! He drew up exactly what we wanted!!! He was very friendly and was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend him for future tattoos. My friend and I were really happy that we got what we wanted and was treated the way we deserved to be treated as a paying customer.

Went there to get my nose pierced today. The staff were very friendly, made me feel at ease and took good care of making sure that equipment was sterile. It also dint hurt and I left very happy and satisfied with the piercing. Would definitely recommend customers to go there for body piercings.

Went in for my wife to get nose piercing. Excited and ready to pay and get it done. Up front we asked nicely how they clean their needles, looking for an answer about their procedure. Legit question of a tattoo parlor we never been to. Person up front rudely asked if we were serious by our question. If you cant anwser how you keep your parlor clean, Im not giving you my business. Ill also advise anyone else to stay away. Work on your customer service. Im glad your business is doing so well you dont need paying customers. Thanks for ruining our afternoon.

I just got my tragus pierd by Megan and she is a AMAZING piercer and she has such a clam voice. She let me know everything about the process and I mean the good and the bad. She was super professional I 100% recommended going to her. I love my new ear piercings so much!

A place that has stood the test of time. Most of the Artist have been there for a while and do great work!! I would recommend to anyone, first tattoo or large piece, they got you covered.

Got gauges done a few days ago. Kristen was excellent!! She was relaxed, comforting and explained every aspect of the process. She answered any questions I had about the piercing or jewelry. Joyfully enthusiastic, and a cutie to boot! Ill definitely be going back to Axis for more piercings and probably when I decide to add more tattoos as well.

I got the other piercing for my snake bites done here by Gary Spitzer and he was great. he answered all my questions and even measured the jewelry to make sure it was long enough to account for the swelling. The shop was clean and tidy. I will go back for any other piercings I decide to get.

Went to Axis in Corpus Christi in May 2019 for a small piece on my inner wrist/forearm. Place was easy to find, clean and spacious. There was some initial disagreement about the placement of the tattoo as the artist Roy Castillo was concerned that the details of the piece would not show properly. I never felt that he was being disrespectful or dismissive, just giving me his opinion. He also asked me several times during the work if I was okay as apparently wrist tattoos are supposed to hurt more. Matthew who was doing some work in the adjacent booth, also came by several times to see how the tattoo was progressing Piece came out beautifully, healed very well with very minimal scarring.Thanks Roy and Axis Tattoo, from your Caribbean customer.

I can only speak for their piercing services. Don’t go to Axis. I had my nose pierced and was initially content with it. But then I got a stress bump on my piercing and decided to check out Phat Tat because the woman who pierced my nose at Axis (Meagan) was not very warm or friendly. After being to Phat Tat for a consult and to let Sammi fix my flawed set up, I wish I had gone to her from the beginning.Turns out Meagan put my ring in the wrong place. She angled it wrong so that a stud doesn’t even lay right... it’s crooked. She put the cheapest imaginable hoop in my nose. And her after-care instructions were poor.But all is right now thanks to Sammi over at Phat Tat.

Great service and incredible artists at a fair price, theyll even make deals if you come in with several people. Its cash only, but they have their own ATM. Theyll work with any design you give them to get you a perfect tattoo, and theyll even draw up anything you can imagine and give it their own special flare like in my case. I highly suggest this place for any tattoo or piercing you need.

My artist was Michael. Not only were his prices reasonable but I could tell he was an artist first versus being someone who wants to make money from doing tattoos.

I was at this place in July. I did a deposit from $60 to create my tattoo. we have set the date and Adam told me that this is a non refundable deposit, but if needed you can reschedule you date.I have to go out of town so I had to reschedule it. after a lot of texting still no tattoo and also no response anymore. Adam never showed me his drawling so I paid money for nothing.This makes me mad!I will not recommend this place to a friend because they dont treat you with respect.

Adam is cool AF and is an awesome artist. Place is clean an comfortable and walls are covered with a wide selection of American traditional styles. They can tattoo any style though
