Highly highly recommend these folks if you’re looking for any great tattoo work, Richard Garcia himself did my work after I met him at a Barber show that was in town did my piece after hours extremely extremely reasonable and fair on the price quality work it takes extra care and precaution, make sure everything is clean and sterile. He takes the time to listen to the client to see what you are truly wanting but most importantly, he makes his little recommendations and goes the extra mile. If he thinks somethings not going to be right in the long run, he tells you upfront unlike a lot of other tattoo artist that only does exactly what the client says and that is where regret comes from. I will definitely be using Mr. Garcia services in the future. I will drive to 3 to 4 hours, even if it is something small he does much more than just tattoos and more than that he is a veteran himself and if you’re considering any type of tattoo, work artist type of work piercings, anything cartoon drawings, whatever maybe I recommend you hit Mr. Garcia up and get your work schedule to him his wife also works there they boost it really smooth work. I can vouch that Mr. Garcia has a light hand and a very well attention to detail

I went in with friends and Rich was fantastic! He was so patient, detailed, and creative. I went in with two tattoos that needed touched up/fixed and left with tattoos I absolutely love. 10/10 recommend! The before and after photos speak for themselves.

Went in to Purple Ink for my daughter’s first tattoo. Tattoo Rick took her ideas and improved on them creating a beautiful tattoo in memory of her great grandma. Highly recommend, was her first tattoo and the environment was perfect. Tattoo Rick made the whole experience better than we could have imagined.

Rich was so great! I came in with friends to get some tennis tattoos. He helped design and talked us through tattoos that worked for all our different aesthetics. Great experience:)

Found Rick shortly after moving to Corpus. He did an incredible hummingbird tattoo. The compliments have been endless. Recently returned for a mother/daughter tattoo. Once again, lines are clean and the shading is perfect. Always great conversations. Oh! And a light hand. We will definitely be going back for more!

I got my first nose piercing here by Rich who was very friendly and informative I came with friends they clean the equipment in front of you very friendly staff. Recommend to bring cash though since its cash only but they have an ATM just in case. The process is quick and easy.

We got 2 industrial, 2 tongue, 2 nose, 2 ear, and a naval piercing between 4 of us. The gentleman was amazing. Very kind and very clean/sterile while he worked on us. He even stayed a little late to finish all of the piercings. I also viewed some fresh ink some artists had done and the pieces looked amazing. I will differently return and recommend this shop to others.

A friend and i had decided to try out this place since they also do piercings but i decided against it which i am glad i did. instead of a piercing, i went ahead with a tattoo and i am more than content with how it came out. initially, i wanted it to be exactly as how i had showed the photo to them but Jay, who had done my tattoo had his own envision. it turned out better than expected and i am very grateful to have come across the purple ink tattoo. i do plan on coming back to get more done and hopefully be able to work with Jay once again to continue adding more to the tattoo for a future sleeve.

I came in as a walk-in and had Jay as my artist. I couldn’t be more happy with the results and it turned out great. He was a great guy and did a minimalistic line portrait of my dog. He takes his time and I could tell he really cares and will give great results. I got a little faint and he was quick to make sure I was good and get me water before he finished. Definitely recommend and very reasonable price.

Awesome environment first of all badass customer service, hit up Sia she’s done mostly all of my art I’ve been going to her for almost two years its awesome experience every time she’s really precise and light handed which I loveeee in my opinion and she’s so nice to be around & hilarious lol but yeah hit up purple ink 10/10 will go there again 💕

My boyfriend and I swung by Purple Ink while on vacation to get some quick tattoos. I found out Sia was doing these cute cat tattoos where part of the proceeds went to a local cat shelter, so I had to help out the kitties! Rich ended up doing our tattoos, and let me tell you, if you want a sick artist with a great personality, this is your man. He was so awesome, we ended up coming back the next day for the Friday the 13th special they were having.

My sisters and I were looking for a tattoo shop that accepted walk-ins since it was already pretty late in the day and Rich answered and said to come on in! It was our first tattoo and he made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. He did such an awesome job and i definitely recommend him!

Overall Great ExperienceWent in there not knowing what I wanted just knowing that I wanted a tattoo. Rick came and helped pin point what I liked and did not like. We eventually found something that I absolutely love.Also, his lovely wife was there and it was great to just talk and have a nice evening with a friend.Totally recommend!

(he completely messed up my elbow, I instantly hated it) when I came to jay to get it fixed, he pulled through & made it look so much better with what I already had ! Went here to get my belly button re pierced due to having it done poorly in a different location. They were extremely kind, professional, and helpful. My new tattoo is a freehand original - no flash, no stencils, drawn directly on the skin on the fly. With only the vision that we had discussed - Spidey is freaking AMAZING, every time I come to Corpus I will be getting something by him. Hands down no question about it - you get what you pay for here. Super awesome people ! Spidey is creative and talented as hell ! I came in talked to him about what I wanted and he got me on the table 2 days later. Made sure he got me in promptly because I was on a time limit ..that is exemplary service. Spidey made me and my honey feel absolutely at ease, he is easy to talk to and has great artistic vision. The shop is clean and very well maintained and it’s a damn good vibe in there ! I wouldn’t get tattooed anywhere where I didn’t feel immediately comfortable. I felt that when I walked in the door of Purple Ink. Every single person I spoke to in passing who works there was absolutely personable and friendly. I will sing their praises to anyone and everyone! I am so glad I found them and cannot wait to come back to get more work with my dude Spidey !!

Had a amazing experience with Jay. I had some ideas on my first ever tattoo. This tattoo was super special because it was in remembrance of my sister who was murdered. He helped me come up with the best placement and explained to me why he suggested that placement for me. He made me feel super comfortable and his work is beautiful and simple. This place was very accommodating. I had another tattoo shop cancel on me an hour before and Purple Ink was able to fit me in without a question. They also did an awesome job on my tattoo.

I had an amazing experience at purple ink tattoo! They were able to get me in the same day for an appointment. My artist was Rich. He did an amazing job and I love how my tattoo came out. Rich was super informative and friendly. I even left 40$ in the ATM and they called me to let me know, so I could go back and pick it up. The shop was extremely clean and honest. Overall 10/10 experience!

Rich lived up to my expectations he provided me with great service and was very patient with me as it has been many years and my first experience was horrible getting a tattoo. He took the time to explain how the colors work on darker skin tone and did an amazing job in placing and lining up my tattoo as I gave him free rein. I got my ink done by Jay Garza and let me tell you… he did an AMAZING job. The jellyfish tattoo came out so much better than the template and I’m very impressed by his skills. My GF and I were looking at tattoo shops in our area and stumbled upon Purple Ink. We loved what we saw on their Facebook page and Inquired. They got back to us quickly and were able to get squeeze us in. From the get go they were professional and cared about what we wanted. When we arrived in the shop we loved the vibe and were treated very well. Rick took care of me and helped me iron out small details to make my tattoo much better. Rick held great conversation and had me laughing the whole time. Rick made getting my first tattoo a great experience and educated me on aftercare. Rick made my childhood favorite video game symbol a reality. I will be returning for more tattoos in the future.

Went for Friday the 13th and was able to pick from SO many options! Kim was my tattoo artist and she made me feel so comfortable and welcome. It was my first tattoo and she made the whole experience so beautiful!I got a hello Kitty tattoo on my shoulder and Om symbol on my neck it wasn’t bad at all. Kim took her time, consistently checked in on me to make sure I was feeling fine and liked the final product. Honestly, Kim is the best and so sweet! 10/10 would recommend! I get so many compliments on my tattoos :)And their music in there is a vibe! Lol

Great customer service by Jay, and sending me in with Rich to get a piercing as a walk in. They were extremely professional and answered all my questions and made it as comfortable as can be. Highly recommend.

I went in impulsively for my seconds on my ears. Jay was super nice and very helpful. He sat me down and talked through placement of my seconds for a good amount of time before we were both satisfied. He had a super clean setup and would disinfect multiple times. He was very thorough in walking me through everything. There was a slight issue with the jewelry clasp and he went ahead and got a new piece of jewelry and disinfected that as well. Overall, an awesome experience and I would definitely recommend and come back!

I went In wanting this piece I’ve been wanting for years and I finally found the perfect person! Jay Garza is the guy to go to if you want great detail and a light hand. I also ended up leaving with my tragus’ pierced. Mine were too small to work with but he still got it done with no discomfort at all. I healed very nice 10/10 for me. I highly recommend.

My daughter went in for her first piercing and he explained everything to her BEFORE the procedure and just really made her feel comfortable and safe. My wife decided to go ahead and get herself a piercing too and she too felt very comfortable. The studio is super clean and the decor is awesome! I can’t wait to go get our tattoos with Rich.

I walked into this tattoo shop not knowing what to expect but was in for a real treat: Chill atmosphere, very clean, nicely-decorated (tons of eye candy for movie buffs), and a passionate team. For my first tat experience, I cannot complain. Jay was a charm. He was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and treated my finger (yes, got a finger tat) with tender, loving, care. :)

Jay is such an amazing piercer! My friends and I came down here from San Antonio and we were nervous to go inside, but we decided to go in and we’re so glad we did! Such a funny and amazing guy! We can tell he’s professional because he was completely honest with us. I came here to originally get an anti eyebrow, but he straight up told me he doesn’t recommend it because it rejects easily (I’m HAPPY he was straight up with me, that’s how you know he cares about his work). I got an eyebrow piercing instead. Our old piercers from San Antonio made everything so awkward and we were always uncomfortable, but not here! We were so comfortable and actually talked a bit with Jay! He also stayed an hour later to do all of my friends piercings and tattoos, I recommend this place to the fullest!

Omg, I love my new tattoos. I’ve been wanting to get a couple of very specific sm classy tattoos not visible when fully clothed. Getting older so I went for subtle. So glad I decided to take the plunge. They are exactly what I had hoped for thanks to Jay. This guy is fantastic a perfectionist for sure. His work went above my highest expectations. Definitely more of a tattoo place than a piercing place. Went in for a cartilage piercing, but the piercer was going to to use a butterfly back earring on it. I got my lobes done instead and the jewelry was wrong. Piercer said it was “adjustable”, but even the looser setting was too tight to account for swelling. I have multiple piercings and I have never had this issue before

Me, my daughter, and my sister went in for a tattoo. Amber was our tattoo artist, she had the lightest hand Ive ever felt. The feel of the needle was nonexistent. She did an awesome job on our tattoos. It was our first time there. The shop has a relaxed atmosphere, extremely comfortable. All the employees were great and made us laugh.
