If you are looking for a piercing studio, this is it. I have gotten all my piercings done here and the service they provide is phenomenal. I went in last week to have my 7 year old daughters earrings switched out due to one of them getting dug in (piercings were done elsewhere. BIG MISTAKE.) We were helped by Cat, she was so patient and kind throughout the whole process. Everyone here is just amazing.. it is always a good experience with them.

Took my teen daughter here twice before for piercings and had great experiences so we went here a third time....not so great. While I appreciate the honesty as she didnt have the anatomy for the piercing. That was not the issue. Arrived and was checked in. Was told the wait is 1 hour and 40 minutes. The piercer had to take a lunch and theres 1 person ahead of you. We said ok will it be OK if we return in and hour and was told yes but if you arent here when we call you, you will go to the end of the line. Upon returning after an hour of sitting in the car, we were moved to end if the line and 3 people who just arrived moved ahead of us ( I asked and they said they werent there long). Not great customer service. We will not be returning here in the future. Sad because it used to be a great place. Prepare to wait.

I’ve been here a few years back and had a good experience, NOT the same experience today. I went in to look for a certain type of jewelry aesthetic, the lady that was helping me had black hair a Black septum piercing, and some lip piercings, right off the bat she did NOT have welcoming demeanor. I told her what i was looking for and she showed me some options, they did have the jewelry i wanted and i asked her how much it was and she said it depended on the length, which i understand, i went on to explain i wanted to buy the jewelry and get it pierced somewhere else, she proceeded to say that i couldn’t have the jewelry until six months after a getting it pierced, okay i never said i was going to put in right away, and even if i did it wasn’t her place to tell me what i can and cant do considering i wasnt getting it pierced there, nor did i ask for her opinion on when i should put it in, i have piercings so i am well aware, and i asked again about the price and she said it depends on the length and i said okay i understand that but i mean of the one she was showing me and she just keep repeating herself that it depends on the length, but that wasnt the question i was asking about the exact one she was showing me, so she was not paying any attention to what i was saying at all. I was getting frustrated with her attitude and horrible customer service so i left and went to Tommy’s T’s body piercing studio where I had a much better experience and I had no issue finding what I was looking for and did not have to deal with horrible customer service that lady gave me.

We visited Barbella 2 weeks ago to get my 14yr old daughter’s nostril pierced. I ended up walking out with my nostril pierced too!!! When my daughter said, “mom, you should do it with me” I couldn’t think of a reason to say no. Parker was our piercer and he was fabulous. It truly wasn’t what I thought it would be. Pain was minimal, like a 3-4 on a scale of 1 to 10. They had a nice selection of jewelry. The gal at the front desk was also super friendly and helpful. I also loved that we didn’t need an appointment…just walk in and do it.

AMAZING!!!!!!! 11/10 if you’re thinking about getting a piercing definitely come here. First of all the vibes in this place are so cool, so relaxing and calming. The service was great, you can tell they’re passionate about their jobs! The lady at the front counter (Lauren?) I think was her name she’s so sweet and helped me pick out my jewelry for my naval piercing! Which I was soooo nervous about but also so excited. My piercer, Derek was absolutely awesome. He walked me through what he was going to do and why, he was very gentle and he also made me feel better when I was scared to do it! My sister had gone in after me and unfortunately her naval didn’t have the right anatomy to get pierced he had told us why, all of the things that could happen if they did pierce it, and didn’t just do the piercing and take the money he was honest with us which is very important. While my sister is sad about not being able to she appreciates the honesty! I will definitely be going back for my next peircing!!🖤🤍🤗🤗

Date of Visit: 05/06/2023Piercing: SeptumPiercer: CatThe staff at Barbella are truly fantastic. Piercers are APP certified and everyone was willing to answer all my questions. I went in about 1 month prior to ask about their practices (sanitation, sterilization, protective personal equipment, disposal of sharps/materials, etc.), sizing advice, and aftercare. I probably spent 30 minutes just asking questions and they were 100% open, honest, and patient.When I went in for the piercing (my first ever), the staff discussed metal options with me. They seriously took my nickel allergy into consideration for the recommendation and quoted me the total for the piercing and jewelry. I paid after the piercing was complete. My piercer, Cat, walked me through everything for the septum piercing step by step. They went over sizing options and recommendations since I have to maintain a professional appearance at work. I wanted to have a thicker gauge and still be able to flip the horseshoe inside my nose comfortably. They evaluated my nose (curvature, potential septum deviations) and made sure the piercing would be straight and compliment the shape of my nose. They also used alcohol and iodine to sanitize the piercing site before proceeding. Cat marked my nose to make sure everything aligned and demonstrated how they would line up eveything. Due to the gauge (10G), it was more painful than I was expecting, but Cat coached me and encouraged me through it. I very much appreciated Cat and their light, good natured sense of humor. I was nervous and they made me feel more at ease. Overall, they were an awesome piercer and I would recommend them to anyone.Barbella is completely LGBT inclusive and a great place to have work done.Barbella and the staff there are amazing and I highly recommend them.

Went to get my philtrum looked at, got it done at another piercing shop and sadly it started embedding! Called Barbella and went right in to get it looked at cause my paranoia was setting in! Derek was great with the entire process and offered great suggestions in case the bar he placed didn’t work! Will definitely be returning!

Great service all around. The end of my daith jewellery went AWOL while I was out so I googled the nearest piercing studio, called Barbella to make sure they had jewellery compatible for a daith piercing and sped over there. I was in and out in under 15 minutes. Everyone was super friendly. Would definitely go back and recommend others to check out this studio for the piercing needs.

Cat fixed a piercing that Sacrament messed up and couldn’t fix. She measures and checks accuracy to make sure she has the perfect placement. Super happy with the results. I’ll be recommending everyone to Barbella Studios!

Peaceful and clean environment. Friendly and professional piercers. High quality jewelry. My daughter had her ears pierced here when she was 10 and double pierced at 15. She had a great experience both times. Definitely on the more expensive side, but worth it in my opinion.

Everything for covid time was perfect and by the book. Consult pre piercing wonderful, choices fair, and staff amazeballs. Very appreciative of the work and consults. Gave me guidance for cleanings until healed and said to come back if any issues with rejecting.

Got a Daith piercing back in December 2019. Very Professional. Friendly. High quality jewelry. Excellent piercing staff. Clean studio. Highly recommend to others...I plan to go back for more piercings in the future.

The manager here was very amazing at educating my friends and I about the piercings we got and about the after care! She did an amazing job at the placements of our piercings and made us feel comfortable and confident about piercing us!

Do not engage with any services provided here.TLDR: I dealt with Ariel and Derek and my experience with each of them was unprofessional and uncomfortable. Pricing was not provided up front, questions were not welcomed, and no consultation or conversation was offered prior to being told to fill out consent paperwork. Body modifications are a very personal experience. There should be communication established to build trust between all involved. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I had here.I came here after a recommendation and after 3 visits in 2 days I have walked away without piercings and with a lot of time lost. I spoke with Ariel and expressed my desire to get pierced and to have it done by Derek. It was busy but I was more than happy to wait. Ariel was unable to give a time or guarantee if I waited that I would be pierced by Derek and kept mentioning that Cat can pierce me. I continued to request Derek. First, Ariel told me that he would be leaving early, then told me that she didn’t know when he would be free, and lastly told me that he was feeling unwell. I asked if Derek would be in the next day. She said that he would be in at 12 pm.Derek was not there at 12:15 pm the next day, so I am told by Leesh that he will be in at 3. So I come back at 2:45. Derek then arrives after 3 and brings me back to begin the piercing. At this time, I had not been asked by Ariel or any staff member what I wanted to have done or any conversation about pricing. Derek then tells me he is ready to pierce my lobes. I responded and let him know that I was not ready to get my lobes pierced and that I wished to discuss with him some custom options. Without answering anything I said, he tells me that I need to go back to the reception desk and communicate my wishes.Derek then comes out to the lobby manipulating my ear and telling me that I had small ears, that doing anything custom would take months, and that he did not think a custom piercing option works for me. Overall, from his demeanor and the way he spoke to me, I was left feeling that he just generally did not want to pierce me. I was also not comfortable having a consultation so publicly. Derek retreats to the back and leaves me with Ariel and lets me know that the only piercing he would be willing to do on me is two lobe piercings on each ear, which I accept.Ariel asked me what I was looking for with jewelry and I expressed I wanted my jewelry to be gold in color and internally threaded. She showed me some jewelry for me to pick out what I would like. During this whole process no conversation was had with me about pricing and there is no pricing visibly listed. She lets me know that cost for this appointment will be over $1,100. I was shocked. The jewelry I selected was their smallest gold ball earrings. My wife and best friend had accompanied me and when my friend saw my reaction, she laughed at me (If the cashier felt that my friend had been laughing at her that was certainly not the case. She directly said that she had been laughing at me and at my reaction, and I even told my friend directly to get herself together).I then let Ariel know that I was not prepared to spend that amount of money and asked if there was a way to reduce the pricing. After several back and forth reductions in jewelry cost, we finally get to a price point of around $300. I agree to the $300 total prepared to pay with card in hand.At this point Ariel disappears into the back of the shop and Derek returns. He is short and rude, letting us know that the staff (I presume Ariel as I have not spoken to any one at length but her) has been having a hard time with me and that they will not be piercing me.I do not understand how I have given anyone a hard time, I returned to them 3 times despite the abysmal customer service and the only push back they received from me was pricing. Throughout my experience I felt disappointed, confused, surprised, and ultimately offended.

I am a bit of a nervous Nancy when it comes to piercings and did a lot of research before choosing this place. I’m sooo happy I did! Derek was my piercer and made me feel totally comfortable. The girls at the front desk took time with me and answered all my millions of questions when I’d stopped by to inquire. This coupled with the clean and professional vibe of this studio are why I chose to come here for my piercings. Come here for your piercings. They know what they are doing and provide a great service.

Cat the piercer was funny sweet and made us feel very comfortable. Kelsea the lady in front was so patient and helpful with us deciding on jewelry. Such great advice from both ladies. Amazing service!! I had my helix pierced here and 2 days later it started getting swollen and had an agonizing pain. My ear was a purple-pink and was about to swallow it. I came around 3, which was the time they went on break. Kelsea, however, kindly helped me with my emergency and had an extremely friendly demeanor. Parker was extremely kind as well and helped me with my piercing with minimal pain. I was intimidated by some staff when I first came, but I’m happy I came back! Free of charge. Got my nose pierced here in March and it had trouble healing. The piercer didnt help much and just brushed off a lot of my concerns and invalidated my experience. I was told we expect you to have discomfort and come back to us so we can change the ring so how is my piercing supposed to properly heal with jewelry put on intended to cause discomfort? I wish I wouldve gone somewhere else.ETA: Should I also call other shops and reputable piercers to see if they just ignore the concerns brought up by the client? Because thats how I was treated at Barbella when I went back for the follow up. Thank you for your lengthy reply to something I was already explained at the shop. Again, that was not the main issue so much as the way I was talked over and given generally unhelpful advice at aforementioned follow-up.

Okay, the last time I received a piercing I was 3 years old in my mothers lap. I have always been interested in receiving a nose piercing but always chickened out last minute. This place is amazing! I cannot tell you how welcoming they were.I was extremely indecisive in selecting my piercing and the front desk was so helpful in helping me and guiding me through the jewelry selectionAs for my piercing process, the professional piercer was so swift & made it painless as possible. Now, heres the deal I am terrified of needles, I can barely handle blood & cry during flu shots. But this process was done flawlessly! In a split second my nose had beautiful gold stud pierced through!It is on the pricy end but quality & work is definitely worth it.

I was recommended to come here to have my daughter and my nose piercing looked at. It’s been 3 months since had it done, but at a different location.My first impression was with a phone call. I spoke to Lauren who was SO patient with my story and offered the best way to get some answers. Won my trust.My second impres, again, great service from Lauren upon arriving.My third impression was with Stephen. Amazing service with him. He took the time to look at our piercing and listened to our concerns about on how it’s healing. He took tome to explain our options but first educated us about the current piercing healing process with the mask wearing.We chose to hang on for another month with one of his recommendation, continue to clean with the Saline and wash with the naked soap. Hopefully this will do the trick so that we can change out the jewelry.We will be returning to have them change it. Highly recommend this piercing studio, hands down to the amazing service today.

The ladies at Barbella are amazing! Im still riding the high of just getting my nipple pierced! From the moment I walked in they made me feel comfortable and calmed my nerves. They took the time to help me pick out jewelry and inform me every step of the way through the process. Cat did my piercing. She has great technique, it was way less painful than I anticipated and positioned exactly where I want it. She was extremely professional,  informative and clean. Thank you, ladies! Such an amazing piercing place! I went here to get my bellybutton piercing changed out, and chose a different place because the people who put it in were pretty indifferent to my anxiety, and it turns out, also put in one that was the wrong size. I made an appointment here, and got caught in traffic and almost missed it. They were nice enough to still take me since the slot after me was empty, and had the most amazing customer service of any piercing place I’ve ever been! They made me feel so safe and welcome, and even hyped up the changed piercing afterward. The service was wonderful and I can’t say enough great things about them, plus it only cost $6 total to have the jewelry changed. Absolutely amazing studio!

Ive been getting piercings for over 20 years and I never knew what I was missing from the experience until I went to this studio. They really care about consent. The shop is very cool looking and they have a great selection of jewelry. The piercer, Kat, had a great protocol and took time to go through everything I needed to know. They have an outstanding covid safety routine. The music was quite loud and I am a little sound sensitive but all of the staff seems like the kind of people that would have made the music quieter during my appointment if I had asked.

I’m glad i chose this spot yesterday! the process was straightforward and the workers were so kind from the moment i came in. the safety protocols were very reasonable! unfortunately my friend had to wait outside (due to the 1 person limit) but the person behind the counter said she could come into the studio in case of an emergency, which was very considerate! my navel piercer was also very kind. i value a good experience and people with good energy for something permanently on my body! they both were very professional and made it a wonderful experience

Great experience here! Kevin was so helpful in assisting me with picking out jewelry and explaining aftercare. Derek did 2 ear piercings for me and was amazing at explaining every step and what to expect. I was a bit nervous going in as I had not done any piercings since I was quite young however Derek guided me through the process with such patience. Would strongly recommend checking Barbella out!

Everyone here is super knowledgeable about the healing process, aftercare, and any problems that may arise. Staff is always very sweet and patient. Honestly my threshold for pain is pretty low and needles freak me out a little bit but Ive gone back to get more piercings from this place as a result of the great care and professionalism extended to me. 10/10 recommend.Google asked me to update my review. I had been thinking about getting my nose pierced for a long time now and I finally needed to find a shop. After searching top rated and open now I found Barbella Studios and made an appointment. I’m so glad I did. Cat made me feel so comfortable and made it so easy! She told me exactly what she was gonna do before it happened and was so amazing! Derek and Stephen are absolutely wonderful. Ive been a few times since they initially did my piercings last year and their staff and them have been very professional and informative through the healing process.

I found this gem of a studio on a Google search when I was looking to replace some jewelry in piercings I had done elsewhere. I was pleasantly surprised by the trendy atmosphere and the setup. They take walk-ins only so it could be quick in and out or a bit of a wait.The facility is very clean and the piercing artist is definitely skilled with a Keen eye for positioning of new piercings and jewelry that suits your look! Very honest!Quality jewelry and a fairly good (and some unique) selections to choose from.I had my nose pierced in December and just went back last week for piercings in my left ear. Definitely recommending them to all of my friends and colleagues!

Went in to stretch my gages from an 8 to a 6 and Steven was my piercer. I was super anxious about the size up, but he was so professional and kind. Made the whole process smooth, quick and as painless as possible. The place was really sanitary, well maintained, and welcoming. Cat was super sweet and helpful too! Definitely recommend this place!

Best piercing experience Ive had. Very clean and professional. Took brother in law to get ears pierced and staff walked him through the entire process, everything went great and his ears never even hurt. I got my helix double pierced and it also never hurt and didnt swell. Fantastic place.

I was referred to this shop by my previous piercer who moved away. I had my nipples pierced 4 years ago and they didn’t heal properly, one the piercings went through my areola 😖, 4 years later I really wanted them done again but didn’t want to go to the previous shop. When I got to my appointment Lauren and Cat (I believe that’s their name) we’re professionals. They made me feel so comfortable even though I was extremely nervous. My first experience with my nipple piercings were extremely painful and I felt rushed. This time around, I had pain but it was manageable, the piercer went through the entire process and gave me a detailed break down of healing time, cleaning, etc. they even gave me a little card on how to clean! I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and kindness. I will absolutely be back and will refer my friends and family here!

Just got home from my first piercing appointment (ever) at Barbella, and Im confident that it was money and time well-spent! Stephen was super kind, comforting, and relaxed (crucial since Im such a wimp about needles) and pierced both my ears with ample warning and opportunity to perfect the placement. I went a little over my budget upgrading to small gold hoops instead of studs, but the look is KILLER and so worth it. If I ever need another piercing or body mod, Ill definitely be back here. The whole thing took about 20 minutes, tops.Kids + teens, youll feel safe here, and parents, this is the place to go. Their safety policies (COVID or otherwise) were all made easy to adhere to, and I appreciate their sensitivity regarding sanitation and general respect for my body.These guys rock! :)

I am going to give this establishment a two out of 10 rating. The guy who works the front desk with the bottom lip piercing and curly hair is completely rude, unfriendly, and not helpful at all with an attitude problem. Even when I came in there and asked questions beforehand coming in he was not helpful and actually came across extremely bothered. The last two times I’ve tried to call to have them look at my piercing from three weeks ago and change my jewelry out I can’t even get an appointment. Won’t even make me an appointment over the phone every time I’ve called to try to come in there they told me and discourage me not to because the wait time is too long not helpful at all and I will not be returning to the establishment I literally had to go to another tattoo shop tonight for them to change all my jewelry because this place couldn’t even do it and I spent $160 with almost a $50 tip go spend your money elsewhere where they actually appreciate your business I will never be returning and suggest anyone else not to Also super overprice told me on the phone it would be 100 bucks and I ended up being 150+ yeah way over priced rude staff and impossible to even get your jewelry changed a five minute ordeal never again

Absolutely love Barbella and is the only place I will ever get pierced or recommend to anyone. Extremely professional and a new level of sanitary. Have gone here several times over the past 6 years and always treated with the best service. Pricier than any other piercing studio Ive come across but worth every penny (but like its really not bad - you get what you pay for). Great environment and I cant praise them enough for their cleanliness.

Very professional piercers and very kind people. I dont know why people complain about their prices. They seemed very fair to me. I guess you could save a couple of bucks by skimping on material quality by going somewhere else, but is it worth it? Will be coming back for future piercings!

I finally got my dermals removed today at Barbella studios. I was greeted with very friendly staff and they helped me right away. Shwayze was the one to remove the dermals. He was very very nice and gentle. He walked me through what he was doing and was very confident in his practice. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for these types of services.

The easiest and most wonderful peircing experience Ive ever had. Scheduling was super simple and smooth, every single employee I saw was kind, communicative, welcoming, and funny. The peircing itself quick, pain-free, and meticulously explained. The shop was neat and cute, filled with plants and crystals and art, and easy to get to/find. Highly highly recommend.

Barebella was an excellent piercing experience! I took my 6 year old to get her ear pierced which she had been asking to do for months. When we got there the staff made sure that it was her desire to get her ears pierced and she was clear that there was an after care process, and only then we proceed. Stephen was the one who did the piercing and we was so amazingly patient and great with my daughter! She was a bit wiggly and nerviness but he worked though it and was so good with her. The most important thing to me was that the place was immaculately clean, and it was an extremely safe and good experience for my young daughter. I would recommend this place to anyone who truly wants a professional doing their piercing.

Excellent! I was recommended this place from my friend after she had her nipples peirced. Great place. I had mine peirced on new years day and Im going back to have my belly button periced tomorrow. The guys are very nice, they make the experience very comfortable, they even play whatever music you like while you have it done. They were also very informative on cleansing, sizing, etc. They are my exclusive go-to pericing place for sure. Will always go back.

Cathi was very informative about care for the piercings and products offered to keep piercings clean. Stephen did our piercings and was amazing! He did the piercings quickly and gently. I went in for my dermal piercing yesterday, and I definitely decided on the right shop. Barbella Studios provides a friendly, relaxing environment, and gets the job done right. Stephen did my piercing, and he was nothing less than outstanding. He walked me through the entire piercing process to ensure comfort. His talent for piercing is obvious, and he definitely did a great job. After the piercing, I received detailed instructions on how to care for the piercing, and was told that any necessary follow up would be free of charge. Bottom line- this shop separates itself from most others by truly caring for the well being of its customers. If you are searching for a shop, I would highly recommend this one.

Where do I begin, one of the most informative experiences I have ever had and will be coming back for future peircings. Cat is the most wonderful human who makes sure you are getting what you want even when you dont know what you want. I was even able to meet stephen who lent his knowledge. Tanner who helped me check in at the front was a wealth of information, and kindness. There was another lovely human whos name I didnt catch who was also wonderfully helpful! Ive been getting pierced at Barbella for almost five years now and I would never go anywhere else! Friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff. Excellent jewelry selection. A calm, positive, stress free environment to get needles put through you. I cannot recommend Stephen and Derek enough. :)

Got two piercing last week. From start to finish it was just a great experience. The lady who opened the door for me walked me through all the new protocols and was really sweet. The gentleman who actually didnt piercing had all his PPE on. Explained everything he was doing, and was professional. Answered all questions I had also. Definitely going back for more.

I don’t think I have ever left a review for anything... but I HAD to because Barbella was so amazing! Seriously had a phenomenal experience at this place. Their prices are very reasonable, the appointment took 20 minutes max, and Steven is AMAZING at his job. So friendly, funny, professional, experienced, kind, and just wow. I was very impressed and will be recommending this place to everyone.

Overpriced jewelry and lack of transparency on pricing. The website and store policy regarding walk-ins are inconsistent (i.e., in practice you need an appointment). I also feel like the front-desk worker rushed me, which she blamed on me not filling out the consent form, but perhaps it was her leafing through the binder for jewelry prices and searching in the back for jewelry that ended up being out of stock. Consent forms are supposed to be signed after you’ve had the opportunity to ask questions (as indicated on the form itself), so it doesn’t really make sense to be required to fill it out before the appointment.

Got my ears pierced there about four weeks ago, super quick and almost painless! The two guys I met there were very friendly and cool. Only gave one star off because I just called with a question about my piercing and the lady that answered was a little rude and short.. besides her tone and unfriendly manor its a great place to go for piercings!

Just got my belly pierced yesterday and Stephen was awesome! love love love this piercing. didnt hurt at all made it so relaxingand quick as can bethey are sister companys with thc from where Im from so its awesome! love this company! so clean and nice. and great after care products too!

I got my piercing in Ten Tigers and it was a great experience. I had to get upsized because of swelling and new I wanted to stick to this company so I came to Barbella. Cat was so helpful and professional about it. She instantly relieved my pain and instructed me what to do next about the swelling. I love this chain of piercing shops, cant wait to get my next piercing from them!

The customer service is amazing. The vibe is nothing but great. I went in for a Septum piercing(I was scared) but my piercer Dylan made me feel so comfortable. Quick and almost painless. Definitely will go back for future piercing and will recommend to all.

Great prices on piercing. Most places wanted $80-100 for genital piercings. They had a two for one. Which was about $75. Clean place. Stephen was super cool and made things relaxing. I got two frenums and it didnt hurt as much as I expected. Felt like a pinch. He was very informative .This place and Stephen was so good. I took my wife to get her nipples pierced.

Called this place and was told they were not accepting walk ins, I made my appt for 12:30pm. I arrived 5 mins before my appt and was told it shouldn’t be too long until my appt. Sat there waiting for 25 mins past my appt time. Why bother telling ppl to make an appt if you’re not gonna keep it. So I need to have the entire day free if I want to get a piercing?! Terrible place to get a piercing, unless you have all day to wait.

I highly, HIGHLY recommend Barbella!!! My boyfriend and I went there together while we were visiting SoCal. I got my tongue pierced and he got his labret pierced. The staff are EXTREMELY good at what they do. Im not ashamed to admit I was really nervous, and they made me feel right at home. They are very professional and made us feel comfortable and welcome. Both of our piercings were a breeze! They take the time before and after to explain everything and make sure that you know how to take proper care of your piercing as it heals. I LOVE my new tongue piercing and my boyfriend loves his new lip piercing--his first piercing ever! A+ for these guys!!! If we decide to get another piercing done, we will definitely make the trip even though its over 5 hours of traveling for us. Again, highly recommend!!!

I love Barbella with every fibre of my being when it comes to piercings. Stephen, Derek, Kevin, and Cat have all been so incredibly helpful and are always willing to accommodate their clients to the absolute best of their ability from answering questions via instagram DM to getting me a cup of water to help calm my nerves. as someone with 7 holes in their head and a former victim (haha) of having piercings done at Claire’s, this place really takes the cake for studios in OC and is also APP certified which is super important!! this place truly has some of the most knowledgeable, sweetest, and patient employees. not to mention the variety in their inventory as well! there is truly something for everyone at Barbella and i absolutely love every single piercing i’ve had done by them and haven’t had any complications or issues at all. :-)

Was told $44 for two piercings for my wife. Ended up being $150+. Do not trust this place, a complete bait and switch and deceptive tactics with their quoting. Stay far away, many parlors in the OC do the same quality with honest quotes.

They are *safely* open now! You have to make an appointment, but the staff is helpful, friendly, and overall happy to be there. My friends and I had a great experience with getting pierced. I love my septum ring!

Ive gotten my ears and nipples pierced here, and they helped me switch out the jewelry for my microdermal when the original piercer wasnt able to free of charge.When I got my nipples pierced there was a small issue with my bar being too short (my fault) and it was also switched out for me for free. I dont think I could ever go anywhere else for my piercing needs, no other place has ever been as friendly or as professional as barbella. Incredible staff, even better piercings.

I called about repiercing ears with specific jewelery. They said make an appointment. I said I would make an appointment to view jewlery only as i wasnot sure what they carried and i wanted something specific. i found they wanted driver liscence photo and $3 pre charge for the visit. so i called again. i explained i was Hard of Hearing on a speech to text app. i explained i wanted a base view of jewlery first but why would i be charge for that. the woman on the phone was not very nice when she said stop yelling, when i wasnt and that the charge would stand and not be refunded for looking at jewlery because of covid. this may be a top rated peircing salon but they are not friendly. she finally did tell me the brand and i was not please with the selection on the brands website. this could have been handled better and their websit can say what brands they carry. if u want to preview and look, do NOT come here! calling will get u little

Ive gone here for several piercings (4 total) and have made this my go to place. Its a small spot with only one piercing area in the back, but theres lots of jewelry to look at while you wait. They also have some sweets to enjoy.They walk through the whole process leading up to the piercing. Afterwards, they hand you an aftercare package containing a pamphlet and salt and discuss how to take care if it.

I’ve gotten a majority of my piercings here, slightly more expensive but worth it in the long run for their quality jewelry.

They are amazing here. Friendly, know their stuff, only place we go for piercings! Even my 15 year old.

Derek is a wonderful piercer who will give you the best experience possible. He is gentle and kind, and the shop itself has lovely jewelry of the highest quality. You can even special order jewelry in any design you can possible think of!

Friendly staff, nice place, but quite misleading and borderline deceptive when it comes to pricing. If you are offering something that costs more, you need to state that to the customer in the moment. This is a standard business practice. If they offer you guacamole at Chipotle, they tell you it’s a dollar more. This is logical. Here, you will get to the register and they will be like, “Oh this costs x dollars more, and this costs more…” Like what? That’s something you need to say beforehand and be upfront about. It’s a deceptive business practice and they know most customers are too nice to say anything.

The white lady was rude as hell idk what her name was but I was on my phone and I didn’t know we couldn’t use our phones in there ? And so she walks out and instead of politely asking to lower my volume she says it in a very rude way. Lol and I’m a very sweet girl never have any problems anywhere these people are just white and hate their lives so they wanna be rude to everyone else or idk if it was just me .

Just moved here from SC. Super fast and excellent customer service. Had a great time chatting with both of the associates there. Even got a recommendation of a few tattoo shops. Go see my man Derek! He was great

Very high prices, but I knew this and deliberately went for it, I think that for such a price it will be a very good service, but no, as other clients wrote, yes, I was forced to buy an expensive piece of jewelry, supposedly it would be bad for my ear to heal with another one ( less expensive), but that’s not even the point, I pierced my ear 8 9 months ago I still have a problem I cant just insert the earrings , the holes are uneven I always injure my ear when I pour in the earrings, it hurts , also it heals very badly so far, this is not my first piercing so I know how it should be , in general and Overall, Im not happy with the service.If you ask me as a client, I have recommended you go elsewhere.Again, Im not talking about the price, this place is positioning itself as aimed at making the client happy, but this is absolutely not the case.To keep us on the same page, I try to explain to other clients that this place is more focused on getting money but not on client satisfaction, they don’t care about correctly carrying out the procedure after which everything healed correctly and does not bring an unpleasant feeling to the client.I have been waiting for many months to write this review, I thought that it would still heal, but no, I still experience discomfort and cannot use earrings.

I got snake bites done and my septum stretched and the people there were wonderful very nice and understandable and completely respectful making sure you are as comfortable as possible 10 out of 10 amazing

I had some jewelry upgraded, I was seen quickly and Im very happy with my new jewelery. They are always so nice and informative, the atmosphere is super chill and relaxing and their studio is always clean.

Idk why they didn’t say upfront they only install items they sell . So the price jumps 5X over the hour I sat there expecting to have MY jewelry put on me and they want me to buy replica of what I have . They could have just said the silver on these is warped at least kept it real but it’s okay I’ll go put them in myself at the house
