Very clean, knowledgeable, and professional! They have a pretty good selection of jewelry for piercing. Seems reasonably priced, but to be honest I don’t have much comparison; I’ve only gone to them lately because my other piercings are from a long time ago. I would 10/10 recommend them. Just make sure you call ahead for an appointment.

I got my bellybutton pierced and it looks amazing The line is straight! They were super helpful and did amazing at making it a comfortable environment I was super nervous, but they helped talked me through it, it went by quick and I love it! I recommend this place 110%

Was traveling from North Carolina and passing through. Found them on Google. I had lost a tunnel during my trip. They were super helpful and super friendly. While I went with the steel tunnels to match what I have already they have an amazing selection of natural plugs. Unfortunately I have to be frugal on this trip I will be ordering some of their plugs soon. Thank you for the help!! Highly recommended if you’re in the area!!!!

Our 13-year old daughter has wanted a tasteful nostril piercing for two years. We found Zeitgeist and are so pleased! Dan was kind, professional, helpful, friendly, and very experienced. The shop is so clean and relaxing. We drove from WI and would come back again we were so impressed. My daughter is so happy and it was a great experience!

Absolutely five stars. Extremely neat and clean store. The young woman at the front of the shop was super nice, informative, and efficient. I arrived a few minutes before my scheduled appointment and even though it was a busy Saturday, it did not take long at all. Dan, the owner, was my piercer. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. I’d never had a piercing before and he did a great job making sure I was calm and comfortable.Couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. I highly recommend going here!

Dan is very professional and gentle. He pierced me over 5 years ago on a spot that I was very nervous for, and he made me feel comfortable the whole time. Absolutely thorough with his description of the process and aftercare.I also stopped in today to get new jewelry, and the girl who assisted me was so nice and helpful. And I didnt even have to ask to have it changed out, she had Dan taking me back to the rooms to change it out, and within 2 minutes, I was done!

My daughter and I got piercings back in January. The after care has been great, the owner really knows his stuff and if you listen to his instructions youll have good results. My nose ring healed so quickly. I went back and had him put a ring in and hes always so nice. I love the new sign as well! I recommend this place to everyone who asks where to go.

I wish I could remember who pierced my bellybutton, but they did great. They originally Informed me, my bellybutton was not the perfect condition to be pierced because they explained to me the piercing would be sitting on the part of my bellybutton that sticks out at an angle. He was very informative about all the risks of possible scaring if it rejected / things I should consider, Which I really appreciate instead of someone just piercing me just to get the money. I decided to go with it anyway because i found out i needed a surgery in the future, i knew going to have a big scar on my belly area, so i wasn’t worried about a little scar on my button. he did such great job! My piercing has been healing fantastic so far, i don’t feel it at all, no signs of any infection, and it looks super clean. I really appreciate places like this that care more about the customer than just making a buck !

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! From the moment I entered the building for my tongue piercing appointment, everyone was so helpful and nice. Dan took the time to introduce himself to me and my friends in the lobby before we got started and I’ve never had a piercer take the time to do that! He explained everything to me in detail, from the sterilization of the tools, to the type of jewelry, healing process, after care, etc and made sure I had no questions before leaving. It’s the best piercing experience I have ever had and I’ll be exclusively going to Zeitgeist from now on :)

Zeitgeist came highly recommended by a friend. I went in for an upper lobe piercing. My piercer, Steven, was great. Very informative and talked me through the process. What I didnt appreciate was when I took my daughter in and we met the owner. He was knowledgeable in his field and his establishment is lovely. This is not a review to deter people from going there, its merely a reminder to people to be kind. The owner made several remarks (even if one of those remarks was supposed to be a joke) about my daughters ADHD. She wasnt giving him her undivided attention and he was offended and bothered by it. It was just annoying to have something she cannot control be called out more than once. Uncomfortable situation for both of us.

Steven did an amazing job and was very knowledgeable! I would highly recommend him for all your piercing needs. The place was super clean and very nice! Definitely will go back in 8 weeks to change out my nose ring!

Nothing but GREAT experiences here. I got my nipnops pierced and was terrified. Dan (if I remember correctly) eased my nerves and talked through everything he did to make me as comfortable as possible. Any issues I’ve had with my piercings (not the shops doing, just healing process) they’ve happily answered any and all questions quickly with detail. I 100000% recommend this shop for your piercing needs. I will definitely be returning for more beautifully done piercings! 😍

I have taken a few weeks to gather my thoughts, and I can confidently say I would never come back to this piercing studio. I originally got my navel pierced to distract from my stomach after having several children the owner assured me he knew what he was doing, and even explained that the other piercer was not experienced enough or knowledgeable enough to do this piercing, so I felt confident in his ability, my piercing is crooked and constantly irritated. I went and got another opinion after stopping back at zeitgeist and no one was there. When I opened it and I stood and waited but no one came to greet me. The other body piercing shop, advised me that my anatomy wasn’t suited for a navel piercing. I essentially wasted my money because the owner wasn’t honest with me when I originally wanted the piercing. I will not be back and I will not refer my friend after this experience.

I got my nose pieced here and the experience was great. There was a large selection of nice, quality jewelry. The front desk worker helped me as soon as I came in and was very friendly. Everything was explained to me prior to the piercing. The aftercare instructions were clear and also emailed to me. Cleaner than 99% of the businesses I have ever been to.

This shop is extremely clean and everyone I encountered was very friendly. Ben did my piercing and he explained everything very thoroughly so there were no surprises. I had heard great things about this shop from others and Im so glad I got my piercing done here. If youre thinking about a piercing I highly recommend going to Zeitgeist!!

I love it here, they are very kind and professional! They use proper jewelry (internally threaded implant grade titanium that they will anodize in front of you), everything was explained to me prior to the piercing, and as he did it. They maintain a clean work space, and follow proper piercing guidelines. 10/10 this is definitely the best place Ive been to in the quad cities.

I was having issues with a piercing I got in Chicago. Dan took a look at it, cleaned it up, and gave me lots of great info and advice. Per his suggestion, I ended up getting longer jewelry, and he swapped them out for me. It already feels much better, and I’m hopeful it’ll finally start to heal like it should. Great place. Dan is super knowledgeable and experienced. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience! I’ve had past traumas from piercings where I now get nervous about the pain I may experience. He helps those who suffer with instances like that and talks with you to calm your nerves. He was very informative about the steps, made sure I was comfortable, was precise on measuring where to place the piercings, and took his time making sure I was ok. The piercing was really quick and could barely feel any pain. It’s been a week and my piercings look great and aren’t sore anymore. Definitely recommend!

Mostly I do all my own piercings myself. However Ive always wanted my nips done and figured Id make a friend day and go with a friend. Was highly impressed with this place. Got my septum pierced today, and Dan did an AMAZING job. He was extremely informative, professional, & explained everything & put me at ease through the whole process. Typically I get nauseous when it comes to needles, but I was just fine today, & he made sure I was okay before I left. Will definitely be back for future piercings & will 100% recommend to friends!!

Everything was explained and clear. They took the time to point out to my girls that there were different costs in the earring and also explained everything and took time to place their double piercing correctly. I only give it 4 stars because it smelled of smoke. As people that had allergies and had two girls getting piercing we were there for an hour and that was hard with the smell.Otherwise they were awesome. Place was clear. Girls ears haven’t gotten infected and we were happy with how everything was handled.

It was quick and I left with everything I needed to care for in and very clear instructions on how to care for it. I absolutely love it. I have taken my teenager there for piercings twice and we love it. Dan is very professional and knows his stuff, including how people work. We always appreciate his knowledge, understanding and professionalism. The office is very well kept and enhances and echoes the professionalism of its caretaker. Its been awhile since Ive had piercing work done, so I kind of picked this place out of a hat, so to speak, based on reviews, social media content and communication with the owner. Im so glad I went here! The facility is emaculate and very professional. Dan explained everything ahead of time, answered questions during, and had a great bedside manner. Wonderful experience getting a cartilage piercing today. Dan was highly professional, not in a rush, and knows his art. He also seems invested in the healing process, rather than treating the jab as a done thing, which I appreciated. And the price was the cherry on top! While I respect that piercers have to make a living (and arent thick on the ground here), I find it wild that Iowa studios tend to charge well over the typical rates in SoCal. But Zeitgeist offers great service AND a great deal.I will absolutely be back.

Dan is truly awesome. The first time I saw him, I went in because the nose piercing I had gotten done by someone else had fallen out (L shaped w/ no back) and by the time I had noticed it was closed up already. Dan got me in to get it pierced again and he was so fun to talk to and made me feel really comfortable. The healing process on my nose was smooth sailing too!Yesterday I got a Medusa piercing (center upper lip/Cupid’s bow area) and I had a great experience too. I came to zeitgeist after my nose jewelry had accidentally fallen out while i was sleeping. i was waiting at tooth and nail for 3 hours starting from when they opened and the piercer never showed up, so i decided to go here instead. they offer walk-ins for jewelry changes, their jewelry is cheaper, and dan was super sweet and gentle the entire time while changing out the earring i had stuck in my nose for proper flatback nose jewelry. will definitely be returning in the future for all of my piercing needs and wants!

Run by a true professional who really knows what hes doing. Piercing is by appointment. He also carries high-end jewelry. This is THE place to go.Update - 3 years later, still the ONLY piercer that we would ever go to, we trust him to provide the highest level of professionalism, with years of experience. We always have a wonderful time when we go there. We make trips to Davenport exclusively to see him when we get piercings and will continue.

I havent had a piercing experience this easy in my life. Dan is extremely professional, filled with knowledge and good practice. Everything is sanitized per client, and a new marker is used on every person. He goes through jewelry options, cleaning instructions, and is overall super fun to talk to and be around. My husband went to get his ears re-pierced after 10+ years of not wearing earrings and Dan checked to see if the piercing was open before piercing which he couldve just pierced them and took our money but he checked them instead & to our surprise my husbands ear piercings were still open and he didnt know it! I have gotten 4 piercings done by Dan, the owner, and i’m going back tomorrow for another one. i usually get nervous before getting pierced, but he’s always able to help me relax. his whole process is very thorough. he explains everything well, makes sure everything is sterile, and takes his time to ensure that the piercing is done correctly. i 100% recommend this place, and if he’s booked the day that you want to go, it’s definitely worth the wait.

Wow. Took my 6 year old who has been having many issues with her ear piercings after having them done a few months ago at Claires (bleeding, pain, pus when we tried new earrings). I had my dairh piercing ripped out by my dog so I called to see if I could buy a replacement and have help putting it in. They got me RIGHT in. When I walked in the establishment was immaculate. Both the owner and the sales associate were AMAZING to work with. He explained every part of the process as he worked. I also decided to get a conch piercing at the last minute and they easily accommodated me. The jewelry they have available is STUNNING and very affordable. I called being the crazy mom I am with questions about getting my daughters bose pierced. Ive been going to him for 5 years now for my piercings, each time hes been amazing making sure understand what to do for cleaning, care, and just plain having it done. I recently got my septum done, lost the ball 22 hours later.. came in the next day and within 5 minutes he had a new one on and made sure it was extra tight for me 😅 he Id great about messaging back when ever you need him, all around great guy!

Dan is awesome! His done my girls piercings and his been really good with explaining things dos and donts. Very clean always sanitizing every item from jewelry to tools he uses. Very pleased with his work.

I went there to get my septum done the other day. I was kinda nervous for the whole thing but he could definitely see that. He walked me through the whole process and even put on some music which help calm me down even more. When he was about to pierce my septum I was starting to other think again and he started to talk to me helping me calm down again. With the jewelry also you can change its color which was really cool. Also everything was really clean for what you want with a piercing place. Over all really cool and really great experience. When I decide to get more piercings in the future I will be 100% be going back here.

My experience with dan was great! The store is very clean and hes super friendly. Dan is beyond awesome at what he does. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about his work. I’ve known dan almost all my life thanks to my mom but if it weren’t for her I would have known of him. On 4-23-19 Dan pierced my daith for me and it’s already healing better than where I got it done at the first time. Any of my piercings that I have gotten from somewhere else have never lasted but when I go to Dan and he works his magic they heal and last. Also if you need him to check on your piercing a week or so after you got it done he will look at it and see how things are healing for you, if you need your jewelry switched out he will take care of that for you also. Needless to say we don’t call him Dan THE MAN for no reason.

I went here for a navel piercing and had an amazing experience! They didn’t require a ton of personal information, they were fast and answered all my questions! He was extremely quick and careful. Took a lot of concern into sanitation and healing and gave great recommendations on cleaning products. Good price (25$) cheap but done perfectly. It’s straight and he assured the ball fit right! My 7 year old had been asking to get her ears pierced for a while, and not wanting to take her to the mall, I looked up piercing shops in the Quad Cities. Epic had great reviews, so I looked them up on Facebook, and more great reviews from people I know. I called beforehand, to make sure hed pierce childrens ears, and I was happy to hear that he does, but only before normal shop hours or on his days off. It is fantastic that he offers this, so that the kids arent rushed or have to wait and get nervous. I was honestly nervous my daughter would change her mind last minute, or not want to go through with the second ear after the first one was done, but he was so great with her, didnt try to trick her, and was just in general a wonderful experience from the second we stepped foot in the door. I ended up getting my ears pierced, as well! I would 1000% recommend!

TLDR at bottom....very clean & organized set-up, staff was very polite & Personable We had an issue with a prior septum piercing, one ball fell off, NOT their fault, we take FULL ownership of that we walked in close to close & the owner took us back as soon as hed finished with an urgent/emergent phone call even tho wed no appointment & were hoping we could get in.... Our Youngest.... 17... Wanted Several other piercings that we were not kean on nor had said yes or no to at that time. The owner went over each desired Piercings in-depth details & checked for anatomical capabilities of each desired Piercing, answered all questions/concerns, & then denied/dechned to do so... Anatomically they would work fine, but there were a myriad of reasons as to why hed not do them until our youngest was at least 18 and even then there was no gaurentee that hed be willing to do so at that time...this wasnt because he doesnt do them, but because of our youngents specific situation & regards to their desired effect & outcome Post healing. Were almost 4 hours away in a different state.... & hes the ONLY one were comfortable with in regards to my prior Piercings....the Septem hes done also for My wife/their Mum & for the ones she & I are still planning to get....if youve gone anywhere else prior .... Dont go back before you go in here & Check things out & talk to him first.... Youll be elated that you did....if it were not the Case Id be doing a VERY different review lol....TLDR: Go nowhere else, go here before going back to anywhere else... The owner is also the piercer .... Were 4hours away in a different state....have & had prior work done & after finding him the 3 of us (me-wife-youngest) will only go here to him exclusively.... you wont regret it & also will want to go to him/here exclusively in your near & distant future....*This has NOT been a paid advertisement lol... Best place to go in the quad cities definitely for piercing. Hes the best there is I just got my Labret done and it looks amazing thank u so much. Felt rushed and the sales presentation was very confusing. I had some questions about the jewelry and unsure about the correct size I needed. before I knew it I was in the back being seated in a chair with my current jewelry being removed and getting prepped to put new jewelry in.
