Update 3/1/24: returned for minor touch ups and was in and out. Britton is great and were already planning the next phase.Britton Asbury was awesome to work with! Took my ideas and ran with it. Great experience and will definitely be coming back!

Four of us surprised them on a random Tuesday or Wednesday went in and got 4 different things. The ladies inside worked with us super nice did great jobs. They killed it. Gotta come back.

Britton was great to work with! Very approachable and did an amazing job! I love how my tattoo came out. The shop and the staff were very nice and the whole place had a great atmosphere!

Josh did my first tattoo and was the absolute best artist I could have asked for. The tattoo looks amazing, but more so than that, Josh talked me through the entire process and made me feel super comfortable during the tattooing experience. I will go back to him for my future tattoos.

I discovered Cloak and Dagger around 4 years ago. I went to them for a memorial tattoo of my grandparents and Britton did a wonderful job! He has become my regular artist. We are working on our 4th piece together & I would recommend Britton and his shop to anyone and everyone!

Ive been getting tattooed by Britton since 2006. Having worked years in the tattoo industry, I can say that he is truly one of the best artists in the area. There are others as good as him, sure, but they are few and far between. Even after all of these years, every time Ive been tattooed by him, even if its been after hours, he still follows the proper procedures - spraying down the station, changing gloves when appropriate, etc etc. He is a consummate professional, and his skill of the trade and instinct for art and composition are unsurpassed. Highly recommended.

Loved my tattoo and my experience. Cody was not only extremely talented, but also a great dude to chill with. Would recommend to anyone in the Dayton area for a great American Traditional tattoo.

I spent years deciding what I wanted for my first tattoos so I was super nervous when I arrived for my appointment. The place was clean and organized. They were wonderful, polite, and did great work. She gave me exactly what I wanted. I am sorry I forgot her name.

Mekenna is an amazing artist and this shop is so good, I’ve had two tattoos done by her and they always turn out amazing!

The wife and I got our tattoo. We both love them very much. The quality of our tattoo is great! Plan on going back for more art work from them.

I think the thing I loved most about this shop was the friendliness of all the artists and other customers. Adam was my artists and for being fairly new to the art, he killed it! It’s now healed and hasn’t lost any color. Great vibe here. Clean shop. Parking in back. I’ll be going back for another soon!

Britton has been my sole artist since 2016. He’s accomplished exactly what specifications I have, remained consistent in making all pieces work together, and fully earned my trust to have the freedom to design with his own details blended into mine. Each piece I have is deeply personal and he’s fully done justice to the stories that I’ve been collecting. I can’t see myself ever using another artist and he’s worth a flight back to Ohio whenever I need work done.

My entire experience was amazing! My mother and I got tattoos and told the artist, Whitney, what we wanted. Whitney designed what we asked for but also took our concept and sketched something else which was absolutely phenomenal and better than we wanted! We ended up getting that one! We felt very comfortable discussing what we wanted, the size and placement benefits, etc. She was light handed and our tattoos turned out perfect! I cannot wait to go back to her and I recommend this tattoo studio to everyone!

I had another tattoo shop mess up a tattoo on my arm and I went here to get a cover up, and may I just say they did fantastic. I had Britton and he was quick and accurate. Ended up looking amazing. Will definitely be going back for another one soon.

Not going to lie, I died.That said, lets not dwell on the fact that I died and focus on the top notch art work that you all can enjoy in at my viewing.Lets be honest here, sure living is a great and all but in a situation where you get the best ink work on the planet what is better than having people plan a party to come and look at it.Anyway, enough about me. You wont find better art work, better experience for first timers, nor better people.Just beware, you might die... and if you dont then you spend the rest of your life having to stop and talk to people who ask about your glorious tattoo.Choose wisely.

I have gotten 2 tattoos from Britton and both have turned out phenomenal. Clean, relaxing environment and good vibes all around. Highly recommended if you are looking for high quality work.

Words cannot describe how unbelievably happy I am! I absolutely love my sephiroth tattoo. It looks even better than I expected! It is so detailed and looks just like he popped out of the game onto my arm. Britton was incredibly welcoming and patient. Overall a cool dude to talk to through the process too. The other employees there were chill and nice too! I felt very welcomed as a nervous and anxious person I appreciate that a lot. I felt I paid a fair price for an amazing peice Im going to be so proud to show off. They got me scheduled for an appointment pretty quickly too I only had to wait maybe a week or so as opposed to other places that have long wait times. Very professional, very clean business. I highly reccomend coming here for any style really you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I just got tattoos today from Britton. I have never been more impressed with a tattoo artist. He does amazing work and the others who work their are very friendly and soMuch fun. I felt very comfortable and can not say enough how beautiful my tattoo is.

I got a couple small tattoos with Chi, and it is the best tattoo experience I have ever had. Chi was very professional and very fun. She made it a very easy and comfortable tattoo experience. Over all a very enjoyable and comfortable experience. The work she did is exactly how I imagined, very clean and well done. She made sure that I lovedy tattoos before I got them on my body. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

This was my first tattoo and Chi did an awesome job. She was patient with me when I asked her many questions and had her redo the placement three times. Im extremely happy with the outcome and already contemplating another. I went to Cloak and Dagger because my son and daughter-in-law have both had some done there and their tattoos are beautiful.

Hayley was awesome on my walk in! She made time for me and helped me design the tattoo! Will definitely turn into a regular. They do take walk ins however, an appointment is required for anything super detailed.

My sister and I got matching tattoos here. They were really affordable and the tattoo artists were really nice. Jess did my tattoo and her husband (cant remember his name) did my sisters. They were very patient, quick, and professional. I would definitely recommend this place.

Ive had almost all of my work done by the people at this shop. Britton has worked on both of my arms, Steve has done a piece on the back of my leg, and Jeremy has done 3 different small things on my legs. All look fantastic. Always offer free touch ups for work done, and the art always looks amazing. People constantly ask my how long ago I got work done because the colors stay vibrant for so long. Great shop, great work, and very clean.

If you are in Dayton or close by, dont go anywhere else but here. This is hands down the best place around and everyone at the shop is very nice and friendly and the atmosphere is great. I get my work done by Britton Asbury and I can confidently say he will kill every tattoo he does. I always have people tell me how much they love his work when they see what he has done for me. He does all black and grey for me but I have seen his color pieces too and they are top notch. If you want to walk around proud of your artist and their work, come here and youll get exactly that.

Most professional shop in town. Me, my kid, and my wife all have tattoos from here and this is where we plan to get our next as well.

Amazing experience with Britton Asbury, professional, friendly, and did an amazing job touching up a piece another artist did. He also gave me some advice and ideas for a cover up Im planning in the future. Finally found a talented artist that has good energy and is trustworthy..wont be going anywhere else in the future...Ive been to several other shops in the Dayton area, and cloak and dagger is by far the best.

Cloak and dagger made our tattoo experience a great time. Came in with my friend only 45 minutes before they were going to close for a impulse decision to get tongue piercings, but instead last minute asked if we could get a small tattoos instead. We ended up with Logan as our artist, he spent so much time just making sure our pieces were exactly what we wanted (my friend had him redo the drawing 2 times) yet he did it with patience and a smile. We overall ended up being in there until 1-2 am, and it has now been a few weeks and my pig tattoo is perfect. I have to give major appreciation to logan for being a huge influence on now being a vegetarian, and marking my pig/that night as a commemoration. I feel with cloak and dagger they put a lot of care into making sure you get the piece you want, alone with all the artists having different styles for different people. The artists have phenomenal artwork and are all lovely individuals. GO TO CLOAK AND DAGGER !!!!!

Britton did my cover up tattoo and it is GREAT. He took his time and was very friendly! Despite the fact that it was super close to closing I had a small cover up and he squeezed me in before the night ended. I’m sure it showed how desperate I was to get a cover up ASAP lol but still I was taken well care of. Definitely coming back !

Got my first tattoo here ever, and I was terrified initially. Britton calmed me down, gave me information, and then absolutely NAILED the tattoo perfectly, even better than I had originally envisioned when I sent him the image to work with. I barely felt a thing, and I would 100% recommend this place to anybody who wants a good experience.

Tonight, my sister and I got matching tattoos in memory of our mother who we lost on Christmas a few days ago. Easton was so kind, so patient, and got us in the next evening after we called. Had a cover up done with Britton. Fair priced great work. He did exactly what I wanted. Had to come back for a touch-up. No problems and friendly service. Have a few more scheduled with Chi coming up.

The tattoo I got done here was amazing, wonderful work by Britton. However I did contract MRSA in the area that I was shaved in. Personally I will not be returning but I do not have any regrets.

Logan tattooed me. We came in a little late but he was super sweet and awesome to get tattooed by. He answered all of my questions and even drew up multiple things until I was sure on it. Definitely will be going back to him for my next one.
