I had such a great experience! My dad had gotten a lot of his tattoo done with Glenn. My dad past away when I was a little kid so it was very important to me for Glenn be the one who tattooed me and he did any amazing job! This was my first tattoo and Glenn gave me exactly what I wanted! The music was great as well and he gave me a toy box that when you pushed it, it played a motorcycle noise because my name is Harley! It was awesome! Will be coming in soon for another tattoo. I had gotten this tattoo a couple years ago and it still looks great. Thanks Glenn!

Got both my sleeves done here and a piece on my neck. everything still looks just as good as the 1st day i had it. Very clean and awesome shop to go to. You cant go somewhere else and get this type of work done Glenns definently the best!!!

Glenn is really a great old school tattoo artists. He is a outstanding black -n- grey ink thrower. His prices are more than fair compared to all other shops in the area.

I have been to a lot of tattoo shops and this one was by far the best. Super clean very professional. Didnt overcharge like some shops. Chuck was extremely kind to me. That means alot to me. I have found my new tattoo arfist!!!! AAA+++++

Absolutely love this place and the owners Glen and Carol! Amazing quality work, honest and professional, and VERY clean place! I’ve been going here for 16 years. I get a ton of compliments on my tattoos and I’m proud to say where I got them! Glen even did a great coverup recently and no one can even tell what was there originally. The owners are very creative, I go in with ideas and they improve upon them and I’ve never left there with remorse or regret. Highly recommend East Dayton Tattoo!

Got my tattoo almost 9 years ago and its still holding the color like the day I got it. The best place you could ever go for a tattoo.(Update) it has now been 11 years since my first tattoo and it is still looking like the day I got it. Just went and got another one from Chuck and I couldnt have been happier with it. He went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. I will definitely be back soon and hopefully this time its sooner then later.

I recently had two separate sessions with Glen and Carol. Very comfortable establishment with awesome music! The place is very clean, and Glen is very clean while working. Both tattoos I got are exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend giving them a try! Thank you, Glen and Carol!

I wont go anywhere else! This place is amazing. Clean very professional but felt relaxed. Glenn is a excellent artist! Very nice people was willing to do a last minute walk in for me. Glenn has a very light hand it barely hurt and it looks amazing gave me exactly what I wanted! If your looking to get a tattoo and not sure where to go...dont go anywhere but here!!

They turned me down because “it’s too hard of a spot to tattoo”i called beforehand to ask about walk in availabilitythey gave me the artists number so we could talk about the tattoo and send the reference photoswe texted back and forth and i told him multiple times i wanted to put it on my ditch / right below my bicep and i told him i’d stop in laterwhen i showed up he had the stencil ready and asked where i wanted the tattoo again, i pointed to my ditch and i got an automatic no, i asked why to which he replied it’s too hard of a spot, i asked if we could move it to my elbow to which he also denied.he could be a cool dude but i wasn’t about to waste my time and money on a guy who isn’t comfortable tattooing a palm sized black outline of a jack o lantern on an arm

Glen is a true artist and an awesome guy to hang out with. He has done all my tattoos for almost 20 years now and there is no way I would ever go to anyone else. Well worth the hour drive! His wife Carol is amazing as well. Dont waste your time anywhere else.

Great place to get tattooed. Glen can do anything. I’ve taken him weird designs and ideas and in return he comes up with really bada** work. His freehand skills are impressive and beyond what most do with a stencil. I started out getting tattoos at other shops but once my wife took me here I’ve been hooked. Professional, fun, and clean environment.

Just had a very nice experience here. My daughter‘s 13th birthday was today and she asked at the last minute if she could get her ears pierced. I’m not a fan of the piercing gun, (aka Claire’s) so we googled piercings and found East Dayton Tattoo and Piercing. It’s clear that this is an established small business with an experienced owner/operator. We saw the previous comments about Glenn’s sarcasm, but we weren’t scared of a guy with personality. Glenn was super tolerant with our brand of crazy. I had three teenage girls with me and the birthday girl had a bit of a crisis right before he started. She recovered quickly and all went well from there. Thanks guys for getting us in at the last minute and taking such good care of us!

First time meeting Glen & Carol. Both amazing people. Very friendly and super cautious about health and safety. Went over and above in every area. A+. Im glad I chose them and Glen hit a Grand Slam. Ty very much. Ill definitely be returning soon.

Went to east Dayton for the first time this week and will definitely come back. Glen is super chill and an amazing artist. I love my new tattoo, and could hardly even feel it when I was getting it.

Have gotten 4 different tattoos from glen over the years, he is a great artist who knows his stuff, highly recommended to anyone who wants a fantastic long lasting tattoo. Got reccomend from a friend for my Phineas and Ferb tattoos, Ben over 10 years, still dont need a touch up!!

I’ve been to a different tattoo shop for each of my tattoos & this was BY FAR THE WORST TATTOO SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN!! My sister and I went in for tattoos and the entire experience from start to finish was terrible. Glen had such a bad attitude that my sister didn’t even feel comfortable finishing her tattoo and I didn’t even get mine. He would get mad at her for moving too much and was actually cussing at her throughout her entire process AND SHE WASN’T EVEN MOVING. His attitude about it was EXTREMELY unprofessional. He then tried to WAY overcharge her and after I brought up that it was too much his response was “well I don’t care what you think”. For someone who says they’ve done this for 40+years, he sure as hell doesn’t act like it. Save your money and GET YOUR WORK DONE ELSEWHERE 👋

Glenn has done both of my tattoos yes he can be rude but he does amazing work! Both of my tattoos were reasonably priced for the size. I will not go any where else but to Glenn!

My friend, his dad and I all walked in the shop to get some work done and he gladly took down our ideas, he was booked for the rest of the day but he got us in the very next day and the tattoos surpassed all of our expectations. This was my first tattoo and a great experience. Will definitely be back

Wonderful couple nice folks ,honest and trustworthy. first time meeting these beautiful people . Went in for a cover up job that the late Jerry Metcalf did 28 years ago the Artists was very honest with what would and would not work. He did a great job I’m very satisfied definitely will be back to get more art done.

I walked into a really nice Studio with lots of tattoo ideas all around and there was some really great music playing some songs I hadnt heard in years. I have gotten tattoos from Glen Friesen before I have one thats over 20 years old and it has his original handwriting in it which he has beautiful handwriting just freehand handwriting and it looks as good today as it did the day he put it on it has red in it all the red is still there it hasnt faded and I also have another tattoo that I had gotten from him a dolphin about 20 years ago and it still looks the same as it did the day that I got it so I went back today and got my third and fourth tattoo from Glen Friesen and I plan on to go back again and get more he does quality work that last for years it doesnt fade and his handwriting is beautiful! I also found out while I was there that his wife Carol does facial tattoos makeup permanent makeup so I think I will be giving Carol a try as well.

Got exactly what I wanted and extremely reasonable price! The letters are beautiful and he made it look better than i thought it was going to turn out in my head (i wanted the letters to look 3D) my daughter absolutely loves it. I know where Im going from now on. Thank you Glen youre the bomb! Everyone needs to go here for their ink. Great people, amazing studio (and great music to listen to 😊)

He did an excellent job on my birthday tattoo from my kids and fiance.. my daughter is 4 and wrote the word mom all by herself without any help and he turned it into a permanent piece of art for me to cherish forever!! I will forever be grateful!! I may be going back for a half sleeve in a couple weeks!!

My experience with Glen was really good. He was very professional. His work is awesome. His prices are fair. His shop is nice. His wife was very professional as well. Good people in my opinion.

The artist does very excellent work. Definitely a heavy-handed tattoo artist but its worth it because you know the ink is deep into your skin. Make sure you tell him EXACTLY what you want because unlike some other artists he doesnt read your mind at all and assume what you want so just be careful when describing in detail what you want.

Chuck pays great attention to detail and has given me top quality tattoos for the 3 that i’ve gotten with him.

The women on the phone was amazing so nice and sweet and the gentleman inside was also amazing Wanted to be there the entire day The gentleman also helped me find a piece for my Piercing Until I could find a replacement

Glen has a sarcastic attitude but he is fun. Plays great music and does great tattoo work for fair prices!!! If you dont mind sarcasm this is the place to go!!!

I love his personality! me and my best friend have been there a couple times now. Even let us come in last min. Great guy!!! Will only go to him! have a few more ideas that I need to have!!!

Worst tattoo shop Ive stepped foot in, Glen was hateful would not listen to what was asked for and did what was asked not to be done and really messed up the tattoo.Now will cost way more to be fixed

Attitude was terrible don’t ever come here The tattoo completely faded I wanted to ask for a touch up but he makes you feel uncomfortable. BEWARE!!!!! Worst tattoo shop In the world Please don’t go RUN!!!!

This guys attitude had me walking right out the door. Went in to get some work done asked him how he would do my idea. He said what the f*** would you have me draw you something and color it too? I cant put into words how I would do it man come the f*** onThis is not the place to go if you are looking for someone to help you with your ideas
